Alison
"Ali, wake up!" Hanna shouted and rolled me off her bed.
Last night I got home around 2am. Emily somehow got lost, it was her fault. She kept making me laugh and I ended up giving her the wrong directions. Even though we didn't really do anything it was one of the best nights I've had in a while. All thanks to a Rosewood girl that I met while buying jeans.
"What time is it?" I climb back onto Hanna's bed and curl up into a ball.
"It's almost 11:00." She rolls me back off. "We were gonna talk when I got back but you weren't here."
This was the conversation I wanted to avoid. This is when Hanna completely shoots down any thought of me and Emily being together. Honestly, I really like Emily, she made me happier in one night than Kate did in almost a year.
"Who's this Rosewood girl you've obviously got the hots for?" She asks with a smile.
"You don't care that she's from Rosewood?"
"No," she shakes her head lightly with a small smile. "She seems nice, it's that Spencer Hastings chick I don't like." She rolls her eyes when she says the girls' name.
"How did you figure out her name?"
"It wasn't hard... I was getting coffee this morning and I saw her reading a book, so I asked the owner of the place what her name was." She explains. "It's simple, really."
"I really like her, Han."
"You like Spencer Hastings?" She asked surprised.
"No," I push her shoulder. "I like Emily Fields."
"Tell me about her."
"I'll tell you about Emily if you tell me about Spencer." Hanna rolled her eyes.
"There's a difference between love and hate."
"I guess you won't be hearing about Emily..."
"Okay fine, She's dating some guy named Toby, she's a smart ass, at the top of her class, her parents are lawyers and she's rich as fuck. Your turn."
"Emily's hot as hell, obviously." Hanna let out a small laugh.
"Are you two dating?"
"No, not yet."
"So you plan on it?"
Emily
Spencer and Aria had told me to meet them at The Grille for lunch. I have a feeling I already know what this is about. Spencer is going to tell me how bad it would be for me and Alison to start dating, Aria's going to agree with her, and either me or them is going to leave angry.
I walks into The Grille and see Spencer and Aria sitting at a table near the back. Spencer waved me over to them.
"Hey, Em." Spencer and Aria say in unison.
"Hey," I took a seat across from Spencer. Neither of them were looking at me.
"Look, Em I'm sorry about last night." Spencer says while playing with her fingers. That was not what I was expecting. "Whatever happens between you and that blonde is none of my business."
"I'm glad you finally realized that." I say while picking up a menu. "What made you change your mind?"
"What's her name seems nice, it's her little blonde sidekick I'm keeping my eyes on."
Almost on queue Alison and Hanna sit at the table next to ours. They don't seem to notice us as they keep talking to each other, not even acknowledging our existence.
I can't quite hear what they're saying, just bits and pieces of the conversation.
They were talking about some girl named Kate. Shit! Apparently this Kate bitch had been Alison's girlfriend for a year. So she's been leading me on just to diss me.
"You know Spencer, you were right, Ravenswood girls are trash." I say just loud enough for them to hear me.
Their conversation came to a stop and they both looked at us. They both scooted away from their table and stood up to leave.
"I know it was too good to be true." Skinny Jeans mumbled as they walked past us.
"What makes you say that?" Aria asked.
"Skinny Jeans has a girlfriend."
"That's great, Em! When did you two become official?" Aria asked excitedly.
"I think she means a girlfriend that isn't Emily." Spencer explains to her.
"Oh... That's not so great." Aria says with a small blush.
