Jeremy and Stephanie catch up down stairs catching up and Stephanie tells him everything Grayson she knows what he's been up to
Stephanie: Grayson's become obsessed with this fantasy that vampires exist. Even werewolves and witches. It's got me worried. I didn't know what to tell mom and dad so....I just wish he'd do something more like....join the football team or be an artist. I really don't know what to do with him.
Jeremy: Hehehe.....you remind me of your mother. She was still crazily overprotective with me when......well when I was in the stoning again. I think your brother is dealing with a lot that he doesn't really know what he wants. I think all you can do is.....just give him time. In fact what your mom did to help me through it....was just a walk to the pond or weekend at the family cabin your grandparents took us to every summer.
Stephanie: But would any of that make him forget all this supernatural thing? I mean....Vampires? Werewolves? That's just.....silly.
Jeremy eyed down in thought but nods to his niece
Jeremy: Either way......he deserves some time.
Stephanie nods and then we come back to the Salvatore Boarding School
Caroline and Hope discuss to weather or not they need to compel Grayson after the event with the Myth
Caroline: Hope. I know how much you want to help Grayson. But you heard what he said in the car. He's gonna keep getting in danger just to help us find this cult. And just earlier the Mayor was in here threatening to close the school.....all cause our friends son was in our care. Care of Supernatural. Hope....we have to compel him now. I know we agreed till after we catch the Myth. But who knows how much danger he'll get himself into in the process.
Hope: I know. And.....I agree.
Caroline was surprised
Hope: You're right Caroline. He's rushing into danger. Putting himself at high risk when this cult is more interested in him. The only thing I'm worried about is if they'll still come for him after we compel him.
Caroline: Let me worry about that Hope. For now.....we need to do it now.
Hope: I'll do it.
Caroline froze again
Hope: Grayson trusts me more.....cause I told him everything.
Caroline could tell this was hard on Hope even know she knew what was best

In Damon's room Grayson was reading something which drew his curiosity more
Till he heard a knock on the door
Grayson: Come on in. It's open.
The door opens and Hope comes in
He turns around gets up hiding whatever he was reading under the bed
Grayson: Hey.
Hope: Hey.....
Hope slowly approached him facing down and Grayson walked to her with his hands behind his back
Hope: Listen to me. I want you to know....what you did tonight....was very brave.
Grayson: I guess I could definitely get into the superhero gig.
Hope: I'm sure you could. Plus you're the first brave man who ever won my impression since Landon. And.....I know.....you would make a great impression with everyone else.
Grayson smiles
Hope: But you can't. Not anymore.
Grayson's expression drops
Grayson: What?
Hope: Grayson listen to me. I promise you. We will find out why the Myth came for you and your sister. But....the thing is....you're not only human but.....you don't have proper training like Alaric did. And earlier you just only got lucky. And the only best thing I can do.....is compel you from what I told you. Your interest in the supernatural. And let you go on with your life.
Grayson:.....so....not only will I forget everything....I fought to learn what my parents kept a secret from me. But.....I'll forget....ever meeting you.
Hope: Yes. I'm sorry. But trust me Grayson it's all for the best.
Grayson faces down and he looks at her
Grayson: Can I.....at least.....have one thing....before you make me forget?
Hope: Course. Anything.
Grayson built up all his courage and moved up to Hope and kisses her and before she knew it she kissed him back
After pulling away both of them looked at each other in silence for a moment
Grayson: Just something to remember me by.
Hope grew a mild grin with emotion and then....took him by the shoulder looks in his eyes beginning the compulsion
Hope: Forget everything I told you. Forget we ever met. You were never interested in any secret your parents kept from you. And no one was ever after you and your sister. You're gonna go on with your teenage life. Meet some girls. Join the football team. Be a better son.
Grayson's eyes were so still during the compulsion
We cut to when Caroline dropped him off back home
Caroline: Take care of yourself honey. And give your parents my regards.
Grayson: I will. Thanks for the ride Aunt Caroline
Caroline gave Grayson a hug and stepped out of the car
When she drives away and Grayson watches her leave we hear narrating again
Epic music plays in the background
There are some things that are better left forgotten. And some things that can't afford to be.
Grayson lifted his hand.....wearing.....a vervain ring he made at the school.....meaning he wasn't really compelled
I know they want to protect me. But I'm not just gonna sit this out like a hopeless kid. And I rather look at Death in the eye and say what's up.....then spend the rest of my life living an absolute lie. I'm gonna find this cult. Find out why they're doing this and what it has to do with me. And kill them myself.
