Lucas and I were currently driving over to his house, since my house was not safe anymore, so now we were heading to...I don't know where Lucas was leading us
I had decided to forgive Lucas for the things he said to me in the hospital, when Everly told me that he had gone back 2 years into his memory , I was so relieved
about something so bad....
Atleast now I knew that he didn't really mean what he said to me, but what if it happens again and now that I am officially moving in with them, things are going to be a whole lot weird
Atleast I was going to be able to spend more time with Myra, I was honestly so upset and sad that I couldn't be able to see Myra anymore but now that Lucas understands....I'm going to be able to see her
" We're Here...Lucas finally said.We stopped in front of a boujee looking store.When we got inside the store, the smell of new clothes immediately hit ny nostrils
Ah, the smell of new things beats everything except the smell of old books
nothing can beat that
"Go on , you can pick out anything you like and before you decline, this is like a..... small gift, a token of my appreciation for everything..." he said sincerely
Since I couldn't decline, I smiled at him and went to the women's sections and he seemed to be making a call

No matter how much I shop, I just can't seem to get tired of it, honestly, it's so therapeutic and it's just calming to me, no matter how much people say shopping is stressful cannot change my mind about it
I had grabbed a few sets of outfits, dresses, tops etc etc
And even though I said I love shopping, Lucas definitely went overboard, when he saw that I had only gotten a few items he sighed and checked the size from the previous clothes I had grabbed
"Lucas but that's all I need-"
"Nope, you won't last a week with these, I guess when you're dealing with somebody stubborn you have to take things into your own hands..."he said
I rolled my eyes at him
"Could you and grab some takeout for home..."he said while handing me his card
"But you know I can cook right?."
"Yes I do, but this will be a day off for all of us...,.."he said whike gently pushing me towards the door
"Fine Fine...." I said while walking out of the store
oh boy this was going to be one busy day

After about 30 minutes, Lucas and I met back up in the car, and when I looked back at the backseat, the whole backseat was covered with plastic bags from the store

"Lucas, I told you not to go overboard with the shopping....I daid
" know, but you're going to be with us for weeks.."
"But I'm going to grab my clothes tommorow...."I said
"Yes yes, but you need new things in life don't you.."
"And because this was my gift to you and you can't a refuse a gift now can you.." he said while smirking
"Well I guess I can't.."we both laughed and drove away

We finally got to Lucas's and whoa
his house was huge, like not huge huge
But completely enormous,my house was as practically a dog house compared to his house
"You can close your mouth now.." Lucas said while chuckling at me.
I didn't even realize that my mouth was open, I glared at him and folded my arms
"Hey, let me have my moment, I haven't seen a house this huge in my life, in real life of course" I defended
" Don't worry, I won't judge you" he said while still laughing."Still laughing huh..." I hit the back of his head slightly hard
"Oww what was that for..." he complained while touching the part where I hit him
" You were making fun of me, for simply admiring the sophisticated infrastructure.." I said
" Hmm, I'll get you back later..."He said with a pout
I chuckled to myself

We were finally in the house and wow, it was so freaking huge
I was looking at the living room when suddenly something came and hit me with a lot of force
" Missssss Amikaaa....." Myra said while hugging me tightly. I don't know why but I was feeling a little weird that she wasn't calling me Mommy because for the past few weeks that's all I've been hearing. I lifted her into my arms and kissed her cheeks
" Hey Myra love, I missed you"I said. " I missed you too Momm-, I mean Miss Amika,....." I wonder why she was stopping herself from saying that.
I was about to ask her why she did that, but Lucas walked in at that exact moment
" Daddyyyyy...." Myra jumped from my arms into her father's carrying lots of bags
" Hey Myra, how is my little princess" he said while tickling her
" Da...dy...ddy...st..ooo...pppp.. it." she giggled while he tickled her. " Guess what...I have presents..." he said while signing towards the bag he had placed on the chair,..." Yayyyyyy, thank you daddy..." she hugged him tightly
"Anything for my princess..." I watched as the father-daughter duo exchanged affection, and somehow it made me wishful

Lucas had to go somewhere with Everly so it was just Myra, Me and the hundreds of workers who are here
"Miss Amika..?"

" How about I show you around my daddy's and I's house.."

Firstly we stopped by a huge looking room
"This is where we have dinner sometimes , if you and my daddy used the main door you would have come here....
in my opinion, it was a really neat and luxurious room
oh to be rich
"where next on our stop, tour guide Myra..." I decided to create a game out of our little tour
" Hmm, to the kitchen we goo" she said while playing along
After visiting about a dozen rooms, finally Myra said "Now to my room!!!!..."
"Yay, now I get to see where this little munchkin sleeps..." I said while tickling her
She ran ahead of me, to a light pink door, which said Myra in gold letters
"Welcome to My Room..." she said
"Oh wait, Welxome to my Closet, as daddy says.." she said proudly
Her wardrobe was ten times larger than mine and the variety of clothes....
"I kept the PJ's you gwot me, and put them in a special place because you're very special...." she says while looking up at me
"Aww, you're very special to me Myra, infact you're in the middle of my little tiny heart that's beating" I said while demonstrating
She giggled and began moving around me"You're really silly, like daddy, do you like Daddy?" she suddenly asked while playing with her hair
I froze at that question, of course I liekd him but not in that way. What are you saying Amika, she's barely a child, she wouldn't understand at all
"Yes I like your daddy, because we are friends like me and Aunty Everly" I explained in the simplest terms I could use
" Ok, now come on to my Playroom..

she was definitely living the life. when I was a kid I barely had my own bed

"And now we're going to your room...." she said happily" it's very near to mine..." she skipped as we walked along the corridor
"Daddy said that this would be your room..." Myra said while we stopped at an open door

I nearly cried there and then, I but I composed myself while Myra was looking into the distance

"why did you stop calling me, mommy.."
" Uhm, I thought that you left because you didn't want me to call you you mommy anymore since daddy had woken up..." she said looking down at the floor
"Aww Myra.." I sat on the bed and put Myra on my lap with Myra laying on my chest" I would never ever tell you to stop calling me that if I didn't have to..I didn't leave because of that..." I said while kissing her head and stroking her back

After that we had fallen asleep for a bit, but now we were officially done touring the house

"I know what we can do.."I said
"What?.." Myra asked
I went back to the living room and grabbed the shopping bags that Lucas had brought in for us
"Let's start with yours, shall we"I said
"Yep, let's do it mommy.."
We laid all the clothes that belonged to Myra and honestly they were so cute
He didn't get so much for Myra because her wardrobe was already overflowing with clothes
I helped pick out some of these, since Lucas wanted a new person other than Everly to help him buy clothes
"Wowww, these are sooo pretty..."Myra oohed
Time to check mine out
Lucas had picked out most of them, since I only grabbed a floral dress, 2 satin night suits, sweatpants and a few tops
But I guess, Lucas had other plans
and and a few more night wear and stuff

Myra had fallen asleep while I was packing the clothes in the closet I was given
So I left her in my room
I checked the time...6pm
Hmm. Maybe I should cook dinner for everybody
I decide to make some of my famous homemade Gnocchi and other stuff
so I went to the pantry Myra showed me
and I still couldn't get over the fact that this pantry was the size of two of my kitchens
Speaking of Kitchens, I decided to get ride started

7:45 pm....
I finally finished up on dinner and now I was cleaning up,I was about to take a dish back when I felt two warm hands around d mg eyes
I was about to scream when the person out their hand over my mouth, I bit the hand , turned around and met ....

I immediately sighed
"What the heck are you doing sneaking up on people like that...." I said while holding my hand over my chest
"I told you I'd get payback, I just didn't say how or even when..." be said while chuckling
"Something smells nice .....you ordered,?" he asked
"Nope, I cooked.." I said proudly
"Hmm, I can't wait to get a taste if this ....lemme just change real quick, I'll be back , he said while running up the stairs
I laughed at the scene and plated our food
