Both Quan Chi's group and our group of fighters were going head to head until the sorcerer's machine burst with energy and all the souls around the forest began to make their way to the machine
Even Y/N was ripped from his thoughts as all the fighting stopped and everyone focused on the machine
" Well that's not good" Y/N grumbles
" Whats happening?" Kenshi asked
" Nothing, just stay here" the reaper scoffs as he marches his way towards the others
" Oh my gosh it's a... Soulnado" Cage says dramatically
Quan Chi continues his chanting as the energy and souls began to take shape and form a physical body
" What dark magic is this?!" Ashrah said
Everyone watched the new being with caution unsure of what it would do or how powerful it was
" We are Ermac a collection of souls bound by Quan Chi's magic we live to obey his command" The new entity says
That last part seems to make Quan Chi even more cocky then before as a malicious grin spreads across his features
" Kill them" he orders Ermac
Ermac obeys and blasts Cage away Kung Lao and Ashrah following in same fate
Baraka got the closest but Ermac used his magic to lift the warrior into the air and slam him onto the ground
Syzoth was next to try shifting into his lizard form has he pounced on Ermac
The two rolled on the ground before Ermac managed to blast him away too
" Your attempts are.." Ermac is interrupted by a knee to the face followed by a maniacal cackle
Ermac falls to the floor and looks up seeing Y/N with a wicked grin
" Maybe you'll be a challenge huh Mummy boy" he says as he raises his hands the blue fire licking his fingers as he creates a fireball and throws it at Ermac
The collection of spirits are thrown off guard by thr sudden attack and blasted back into a nearby tree nut before Y/N could continue his assault he heard the sound of approaching footsteps
" Quan Chi must succeed if I'm to liberate Orderrealm, I'll not let him fail!" One of the sorcerer's companions shout
" You all kill him busy Ermac will handle the others" Quan Chi says
This makes Y/N chuckle " I do hope you plan on keeping me entertained"
The man known as Havik came charging at the reaper without any regard to safety
Y/N rushed past him in an instance and sliced him in two " Oh done already" he chuckles as Havik falls to the ground
The reaper glared at the others waiting for them to make a move but he something grab onto his leg
He looked down and saw it was Havik he was still alive and had grabbed a hold of Y/N's leg
The momentary distraction allowed Darrius to get a clean hit on Y/N rocking his jaw and making him stumble back
He shook his head and looked up seeing Havik had regrown his lower body " That is so gross" the reaper spat as he readyded his scythe
" You die here" Havik shouts as the two charge Y/N
Y/N raises his scythe and plunges it into Havik's chest and kicks him away Darrius then tries to land a kick on Y/N again but this time thr reaper ducked
He quickly grabbed Darrius's arm and used his flames to burn the man he let out a shriek of pain that was silenced as Y/N punched the man square in the face
Havik ripped the scythe from out of his chest and got a firm grip on it " Let's see how you like it when your weapon is used against you!"
But before Havik could even raise the scythe spikes erupted from its handle and imapled themselves through the man's hands
He let out a howl of pain as he dropped the scythe " What the hell "
Y/N grins sadistically and shrugs" It's got a mind of its own and he really hates it when other people but me use him " he says as he picks the scythe up
Y/N then saw a feint skull of magic making it's way towards him which he easily sliced in two when he turned to see who it was it was none other then Quan Chi
" Your no ordinary human are you? " the sorcerer asks
" And your a disappointment for a sorcerer" Y/N scoffs creating a wave of blue flames and launching it straight away at Quan Chi
But before the flames could hit the sorcerer Ermac appeared using it's own magic to protect them both
Y/N groaned at the sight of Ermac " Your back Mummy boy? Wasn't one ass kicking enough?"
The reaper soon though felt his feet leave the floor as Ermac used his magic to raise him
" Well this is gonna hurt" Y/N thought as Ermac used his magic to fling him away into the forest
The other fighters then appeared trying to work together to take down Ermac but the collection of spirits was proving too much
Kenshi who had heard all the commotion did his best to make it to the scene as he held Sento close
" I can't let them die" he says to himself he does his best to charge at Ermac but he simply blasts the swordsman away
Kenshi tumbles along the ground as Sento falls out of his hands leaving him scrambling to find the blade
A blue energy though emitted from the blade as what sounded like a thousand voices speaking at once spoke to Kenshi " Kenshi Takashi"
" what? Who is that?" he asks
" Your ancestors, come to us" the voices emmiting from Sento say as Kenshi makes his way over
" In your time of need, the Taira will not fail you" Sento says as he picks the blade up
it was as if Kenshi had been giving another set of eyes but all that mattered was that he could fight
He saw Ermac lunge at him and readyded himself
He dodged some of Ermac strikes and Ermac dodged his but Kenshi caught theummy by surprise when he plunged Sento into his chest making him scream in pain
Ermac desperately used his magic to blast Kenshi away Ermac then shot a few magical blasts at Kenshi but Sento floated into the air and defended him
" It's siphoned his souls, it now has his powers" Kenshi concluded as Ashrah approached him
" That was unexpected" she says
" Your telling me" he says " Shall we finish this?"
The two work in tandem to fight off Ermac their constant assaults proving to much for the collection of spirits as he is knocked to the ground
" We are many.. You are one" he says in a strained voice as he tries to stand but keeps failing
" Whats wrong with him?" Kenshi asks
" Combat must have weakened the magic that binds his souls together" Ashrah says
" Sindel! I'll find you" One voice in particle says from Ermac before he passes out
" What was that?" Kenshi asks
" Watch him, I'll shut down the soul stealer" Ashrah says she hurries over and plunges her blade into a component of the machine
" Ashrah don't" Quan Chi protests but she continues to destroy the component allowing the souls to escape
The spirits soon all go after Quan Chi making him scream in fear as he tries to fend them off one spirits seems to zap the some kind of energy from Quan Chi making his skin go white as snow as he falls to the ground uncouncius
Ashrah watches the scene and walks over once the spirit is done " Since that didn't kill you, I will" she says
But before she can plunge her blade in him Kenshi stops her
" Liu Kang needs to question him, he knows Shang Tsung's plans" Kenshi says
She relactantly lowers her blade and agrees
The others soon gather around " Well clearly I underpaid for that" Cage says
" Did you know what it could do?" Cage asks Kenshi
" The legends never mentioned this mystical powers" Kenshi says
They all hear a groaning coming from the forest as they see Y/N emerge from the brush
" I hate this place" he says as he tries to get all the leaves off him and his clothes
The others chuckle slightly at the sight of the warrior as they ready themselves to take Quan Chi to Liu Kang
" I know homes here for you Baraka" Cage says " But Syzoth, Ashrah, you can come with if you want"
This makes Y/N cough to get everyones attention " Uhm sorry to break up the feel good moment but did I miss the part where we wore signs saying we take in lost dogs?"
" I never had a home that would be wonderful" Ashrah says as she smiles
Y/N's eyebrow begins to twitch due to his annoyance at being ignored " You appearntly can't listen either"

Sorry for the late and short chapter my laptop keeps overheating and it sometimes deletes chapters cause it will just switch off when I'm busy but bare with me it will get better I'm sure
