POV: Virgil
"Come on guys, let's film a video!" Thomas yells. I groan as I put away my phone. Seriously, can't I have a moment of peace? I lower myself down and pop back up in the living room. I look around to make my frown very clear, making sure everyone knows I don't want to be here. "Hey kiddo! So what did ya call us up here for?" Patton asks Thomas. "Hang on Patton, Janus come up here!" My head whips around as I see my husband pop up from the floor, turning my frown into the biggest smile ever. Janus & I have been married for only three months now, obviously we're still in the super lovey dovey newlywed stage. Normally, I would hate how cliché that sounds, but with Janus, I never seemed to care. "Hey emo." He said. "Hey Slithers." I reply, referring to the snake tattoo covering half of his face. He'd gotten it while we were on our honeymoon, I had wondered about it, but I brushed it off as part of his passion for reptiles. Somehow, Janus was able to make my anxiety go away completely, that's when I knew that he was 'the one.' My thoughts got interrupted by Thomas. "Let's make a video about lying." He said.
Hi. I'm sorry that this is really short but I just couldn't think of much to put in this chapter. Maybe just consider this an introduction chapter? Hopefully chapters will get longer. Also I'm sure I'm doing the dialogue wrong with the transition between the actual dialogue and the ____ said. So if that sort of thing irritates you, I apologize in advance.
