Chapter 11
| The plan |

"Anyway," she looked at them with a small smile, wiping the tears away. She took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts before she spoke again. "I need a way to get close to Derek," she turned her head towards Scott, "and you need someone in the inside. Wanna help me ?"

Scott's heart raced as he considered her proposition. The thought of infiltrating Derek's inner circle both excited and terrified him. Gathering his courage, Scott met her determined gaze and nodded.

"Count me in," he replied, his voice filled with determination. "I maybe have a way of you to get close to him."

She smiled, relieved that Scott had agreed to assist her in her plan. It was a weight off her shoulders knowing that she wouldn't have to go through this alone. She had always been a strong and independent woman, but the thought of seeking revenge on the person who had caused her so much pain was daunting. The support of her friends and loved ones gave her a glimmer of hope and a sense of reassurance.

Deep down, however, a darker thought lingered. She knew that in order to truly find closure, she would have to eliminate anyone who dared to stand in her way of killing him. The very idea sent shivers down her spine, but she couldn't deny the fire burning inside her. The desire for justice outweighed any fear or hesitation.

After Scott and Ariel hit their head too many times on the ice, they decide it's probably best to take a break from skating. Scott suggested they go and take some cute couple shots in a Photo Booth, and Allison enthusiastically agreed. They walked hand in hand towards the booth, their smiles reflecting their love for each other.

Meanwhile, Ariel decided to sat on the bench with Bianca, who had also taken a break from skating.
They chat and laugh, enjoying each other's company while watching Lydia and Stiles glided gracefully on the ice. Ariel's head still throbs a little from the falls, but being with Bianca eases the pain.

"I think the ice doesn't like me," said Ariel, rubbing her forehead.

Bianca laughed. "Oh, come on, Ariel. It's just a little slip. Ice doesn't have feelings, you know."

Ariel frowned looking at her. "Well, it sure feels like it's out to get me today."

On the other side of the rink, Stiles stayed with Lydia on the ice. Despite being a bit clumsy, he is determined to skate with the girl and make her laugh.
He held her hand tightly, guiding her through the slippery surface. Their laughter filled the air as they share playful banter and create lasting memories.

Suddenly Scott, Allison, Bianca and Ariel heard Lydia scream. Scott and Allison rushed out to find out what's wrong following by the tribrid and the witch. Their hearts pounding, they raced towards the direction of the blood-curdling scream. As they reached the scene, they found Lydia standing frozen, on top of the icy surface, her eyes wide with terror with Stiles who's trying to calm her down but she's inconsolable.

"What happened, Lydia ? What's wrong ?" Stiles asked, his voice filled with concern. He gently reached out to touch her trembling shoulder, hoping to provide some comfort.

Lydia's voice quivered as she struggled to articulate her fear. "I saw... I saw something, Stiles. Something in the ice. It was... it was watching me," she stammered, her words barely audible amidst her trembling.

Stiles exchanged a worried glance with Scott, who had just caught up with them. Ariel, Bianca, Allison and Scott scanned the surroundings for any sign of danger. The icy landscape seemed eerily still, with only the sound of their shallow breaths breaking the silence.

"We need to get her out of here," Ariel said, her voice firm yet filled with empathy.

At school the next day, Scott couldn't help but feel a sense of urgency. The realization that Derek had a target in mind weighed heavily on his mind.
Determined to gather as much information as possible, he approached Erica, hoping she would provide some answers.

"Two's not enough for Derek.
I know he needs at least three," Scott said, trying to sound casual, "So who's next ?" he scoffed.

"Why does there have to be a next when we've already got you ?" asked Erica, approaching Scott.

Ariel saw Allison, standing in the hallway with a weird expression on her face. Concerned, Ariel approached her friend, her brows furrowing with worry. "Allison, are you okay ?" she asked, her voice filled with genuine concern.

Allison looked up, her eyes filled with a mix of confusion and surprise. "Ariel, I...I don't know how to explain it," she stammered, clearly struggling to find the right words. "I just saw Scott and Erica."

Ariel walked at the end of the hallway to see if it's true, but she found Scott alone, against a locker. "He's alone but I'll go see what's happening." Allison nodded her head before disappearing.

Confusion washed over Ariel as she approached him, wondering what just happened.

Scott turned his head towards her and before she could say something, he spoke, "Meet me at lunch. Same table."

●●--●●

"Wait ? Since when Ariel Jocelyn Grimes tell her story to strangers ?" asked Bianca to her best friend as they walking in the cafeteria. They had just finished their morning classes and were looking forward to grabbing a quick lunch before heading to their next class.

"They're not totally strangers, Bi'." she started as they go get their lunch. Bianca looked at her with curiosity, wondering what she meant by that statement. As they stood in line at the bustling cafeteria, Bianca couldn't help but ask for clarification.

"We can trust them," she continued.

"Are they gonna trust you when they're gonna found out that their new friend is a tribrid," whispered her friend Bianca, as they moved forward in the line.

"Stiles didn't took it the wrong way when you told him that you were a witch ?" Ariel asked her best friend.

"No. But being a tribrid it's way more than just being a witch." said Bianca with a small smile.

As they inched closer to the entrance, Bianca's words lingered in the air, echoing the doubt that had crept into their minds. The concept of a tribrid, a being with the combined blood of three supernatural species, was rare and unheard of. How would their newfound friends react when they discovered the truth ?

Ariel, the protagonist of our story, couldn't help but feel a pang of anxiety.
Being a tribrid meant that she possessed the powers of a vampire, a werewolf, and a witch. It was a combination that made her both powerful and vulnerable.

"Anyway," Bianca said as she takes her tray. "Have you've been eating ?" she asked her best friend with a worried expression on her face. This morning she saw the same amount of bag of bloods in the fridge of the same morning when Ariel went hunting.

"Yes yes," she replied, walking towards Scott and Stiles's table.

Bianca was not stupid. She saw that her best friend was not okay. She was not drinking proper blood and she could see it. As a vampire, her survival depended on the nourishment derived from human blood not only on blood bags.

"Don't worry about me." Her voice held a hint of annoyance.

Bianca stopped in front of her, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "If you need to drink blood from the veins, just drink from mine," she whispered, her voice barely audible. Startled, her friend took a step back, unsure of how to respond.

Her mind raced with conflicting emotions. On one hand, the offer seemed tempting, as she hadn't had a proper meal in days. The blood from the animal she had kill the previously morning didn't help.

The cravings for blood were becoming unbearable, and she felt weak and lightheaded. On the other hand, the thought of taking such an intimate and personal gift from her friend made her feel uneasy.

"No I can't," Ariel whispered back. She couldn't shake off the uneasiness that had settled in her stomach. "You know it's too personal." she nurtured. "I can't drink from your veins." She give her a small smile. "I love you but I can't."

They sat down in front of the boys. "I'll manage Bianca." she whispered in her ear.

"You're coming with me to the ice skating rink," Scott said to Ariel before looking at Bianca, "and you're going with Stiles at Boyd's house."

"Huh ? Is this a date because Allison won't be very happy," Ariel asked, confused on why they're going back there.

"No. You're gonna get your something to get close to Derek and I'll try to save Boyd."
