Adrienne

I left Ohio Monday morning because I had some show to do in San Francisco. By Tuesday evening, I was back in Beverly Hills for some studio time. That day physically drained me because I didn't get out of the studio until one in the morning.

Wednesday I slept in and only woke got up when Kyrie had called me. Just five months of being together in relationship, it's so easy to tell when something is off with him and his tone of voice alone gives it away. Tonight was game one of the eastern conference finals, and just watching limp up and down the court was ridiculous.

Thursday morning he called me to let me know he had flown out to Florida to meet a doctor about both of his legs.

"How do you feel though?"

"I mean" I heard him sigh, and the line was silent for a while. "I feel kind of good but they just want me to sit out for game two"

In a way I was a bit relieved when he said that. Honestly I believed shouldn't have even played in game 1 and now that he isn't playing in game two is kind of good thing. So now his treatment process will be longer and he won't have to keep adding so much pain to his body.

I will always support Kyrie in everything he does, and I'm always proud of his accomplishments but it sucks to see him going through all this pain and frustration.

"Don't feel like it's the end of the world. I know how badly you want this and no matter what I'll be right there supporting you"

"This is why I love talking to you because you always know what to say. Seriously Adge, you're the best"

"Of course I'm the best. I'm Adrienne"

He chuckled through the phone, "I see someone's cocky"

I heard a sound, letting me know my phone battery was low. "Never cocky, just confident and Kyrie text me because my phone is soon to die"

"Alright"

"Ciao" I smooched into the phone before hanging up.

By Friday I was in London for a promotion tour. The first thing I did when we landed was go straight to meet up with people and by midnight, I was back at the hotel.

In the morning I woke up feeling extremely exhausted and I would have continued my sleep but Zizi's loud phone conversation kept me up.

"Did they win though?"

"Yeah" Azeena bit into her piece of toast.

Since I had gotten back in late, and knew she would have watched the game; so I just asked her what had happened.

"Great, two to nothing"

"I know right and Kyrie was on the bench not in uniform"

Sipping from my tea cup, "Yeah I know, he told me earlier he wasn't going to play last night"

"Poor kid" she sighed.

"I know right. Part of me kind of blames the Cavs medical staff because it seems like they don't know what the hell they are doing"

I'm pretty sure if Kyrie never flew out to meet that doctor, then he wouldn't have sat out last night. Honestly I feel like the Cavaliers are not taking caution with him, and they keep forcing him to do stuff. You can't do that someone who is playing on two injured legs because if you constantly place them in uncomfortable situations then the worst can be bound to happen.

They can't keep saying Kyrie at twenty percent is better than Kyrie at zero percent. The poor kid goes out there on that court and practices everyday to give it his all because he doesn't want to let his team down but no one the team can seem to understand what he's going through because they aren't the ones dealing with that frustration.

We ate the rest of our breakfast in silence and after a very much needed shower, Kyrie and I texted throughout the day. The rest of the day, Azeena and I just chilled and walked around the beautiful city of London. It was always good to spend your Saturday in a different country.

Sunday we were back in Los Angeles, and Monday I did nothing but work my behind off. I had some vacation planned for myself so I wanted to make sure that my busy schedule wouldn't interfere with that. I had photo shoots, videos, and interviews all done in one day.

Tuesday afternoon, I was in Cleveland again for game four of the cavaliers-hawks series. Though Kyrie didn't know I was in town, Josh did and I actually wanted it to be a surprise. Yesterday when I spoke to him, he told me that he was feeling a whole lot better and he planned on playing in tonight's game.

I said a little prayer among myself and had the reassurance that he would be perfectly fine.

It was spring time and the weather was warm. My outfit hit perfect with it; an off white pattern cacti shift dress with a pair of tan colored Tom Ford Spring knee high gladiator sandal heels.

Josh and Zizi stood by my side as security safely helped us into the crowded arena. We were seated courtside and believe me when I say this place was beyond packed. Tickets sold out in a snap of a finger.

Teyana walked towards us with a huge smile upon her face, "Hey baby"

"Hey Tey" I smiled, standing up and greeting her with a hug.

"You look fantastic"

I placed a piece of my hair behind my ear, smiling. "I'm actually trying to look like you"

"No I'm actually the one that needs to start looking like you because you look too good right now" she complimented, moving her hands around. "I might have to have a talk with Kyrie and make sure he treating you right cause' you know us Taylor's got to stick together"

I couldn't help but laugh at her comment. We joked around some more and even snapped a few pictures together. A couple I posted on Instagram and when Zizi brought out her selfie stick, I couldn't help but laugh. Only she would be the one to bring a selfie stick to an NBA game.

The game hadn't started yet so we took advantage of the moment, selfie after selfie.

Jux hadn't arrived yet, leaving Josh as the only guy and we definitely had to add him to our picture. The one I added to Instagram was the three of us making silly faces and my caption, 'Eastern Conference Finals with my faves😊'.

I heard a lot of people behind us talking about how excited they were that Kyrie was playing tonight, and even though I was nervous, I still was confident for him.

The game started exactly ten minutes later and with loud cheers coming from individuals the Cavaliers just looked like they had to win tonight.

Kyrie even had all of us on our feet. Baby boy was playing on a level that had a lot of people shocked, and it was so good to watch him. That worrisome I had before the game started left until he got fouled and smacked down on the ground by Al Horford. He did quickly get back up and make his way to the free throw line and made both shots.

"Yes" I whispered to myself.

"You got this Cavs" Zizi yelled in my ear.

It was like a spark in him, and I guess sitting out those last two games did him some good. I was just happy to see him playing a little better than before.

Each quarter passed by and we were in the last minutes of the fourth. Excitement was growing in me and I couldn't sit in my seat anymore. Both Zizi and I stood to our feet's cheering and clapping. We even got a bit immature by pretending we were sweeping the ground, as a response to the Cavs sweeping them out tonight.

"One minute left and they win the eastern conference finals"

"I know right and I'm so happy", clapping my hands together and looking up at the score board.

The bench players were the only ones on the court now and as the starting lineup danced around by the bench and coach, the only thing heard in the arena was nothing but screaming fans and loud chants. The time on the clock ran out and all we could do was jump and scream.

Azeena and I danced around hugging each other, and everyone's faces filled of joy. Well Cleveland fans.

"Yeah boy" Josh shouted.

We searched for Kyrie and as we found him I was the first to approach him smiling, "You're going to the finals. You're going to the finals", with so much cheerfulness in my voice.

I wrapped my arms around his neck as we embraced in a tight hug. Also kissing the corner of his lips, "I'm so happy for you guys"

"Thank you" he removed his hat, and placed it on my head.

"Congratulations big head" Zizi laughed.

Jux and Josh dapped him up, and we took a few pictures before Kyrie had to go join his team and get presented the eastern conference trophy.

We stood off to the side watching and I snapped a few pictures. Zizi kept cracking jokes about how Kyrie was the shortest one on the team and I would slightly mug her.

Tonight was really enjoyable and I was extremely proud. It was a struggle for them getting here but it was absolutely worth it in the end.

After everything the crowd faded, and Kyrie left to handle interviews and change in the locker rooms. I spent time on my phone and found a picture that Zizi had taken of me and Kyrie from tonight. It was really cute and I decided to send it to Instagram; captioned, "Wouldn't have missed this moment for anything in the world. So proud of tonight's accomplishments. You're going to the finals! 😘👏🏾🏆'.
