""HONESTLY REI" HAEUN sighed positioning her phone so it sat upright at her desk. She was on video call with her friend, who was dressed in a loose grey hoodie and busy studying at a much cramped desk. "You don't know how stressed I am!"
"Relax Eun," Rei calmly replied, her voice glitching slightly from the other end. "You have all summer break to get your grades up! Plus you are getting your tutor soon," she reasoned. "I don't think you should be worried."
Haeun scoffed, picking up her books and slamming them down on her desk. "It's easy for you to say. You've never failed all your classes in a year. And my dad said it's really embarrassing for him that his own daughter can't even get decent grades. He said people will think poorly of him if word gets out."
"Well that clearly sounds like a you problem," Rei sniggered, scribbling something down. "I think you should get started instead of complaining. Let your hands work instead of your mouth."
"You're bipolar as fuck, Rei," Haeun smiled, picking up a frayed yellow textbook from the top of the pile in front of her and placing it down in front of her. "Let's check this out, shall we?"
"I bet he's probably a nerd," Rei blurted out and both the girls laughed. "With thick glasses and braces with food stuck in them. Oh and a monobrow and red acne all over."
"Probably," Haeun chuckled.
She opened the yellow textbook and her smile immediately fell.
"What the fuck?!" she exclaimed, her jaw dropping as she peered closer towards the book. "I can't even read this! It's like he's got scribbles for handwriting!"
