It's early in the morning, and the Yuchengco Hall is already crowded by the new students of DLSU. The orientation will be held at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium.
"Oh, asan nanaman ba si Eya?" Kyungsoo asked when they saw Ji, and Haze sa tapat ng unit ni Eya.
"Ewan ba. Late nanaman ata nagising yan." Haze answered.
"Eya, girl, wake up!" Katok muli ni Ji sa unit ni Eya.
"Nako, we'll go ahead na para ma-save namin kayo ng seats." Luhan says.
"Hoy, Eya! Dalian mo, pakabagal kahit kelan eh." Xiumin called from the door.
"Sige na, una na kayo." Ji tells the boys. "Save us a seat na lang."
With that, Kyungsoo, Luhan, and Xiumin left the girls para nga naman makakuha sila ng seat. A few minutes after leaving ng mga kaibigan nila, Eya's door opened.
"Sorry na!" Agad namang sabi ni Eya upon facing her friends na kanina pa sya kinakatok.
"Hay nako." Haze says. "Tara na!"
Buti na lang katabi lang ng condo building nila ang DLSU.
The three ran as fast as they could sa univ para umabot sa simula ng Orientation. Upon arriving sa Yuchengco Hall, it's still crowded. Agad naman na tinawagan ni Eya si Kyungsoo to ask kung asan sila.
"Here!" Kaway ni Kyungsoo sa mga kaibigan.
"Thank God, umabot pa kayo." Luhan says.
"Pasimula pa lang naman daw." Xiumin added.
Umupo na sina Eya, Haze, and Ji sa seats na ni-save ng tatlo sakanila. The auditorium is a bit crowded since madaming freshies sa DLSU this year, pero na-accommodate naman ang lahat.
Later on, the hosts of the Orientation took the stage.
"Good morning, freshies!" Masiglang bati ng host. "I'm Cassandra."
"I'm Ross." Pakilala ng isa pang host.
"Welcome to De La Salle University!" Sabay nilang sabi, followed by the cheer of the crowd.
"Another exciting school year has come for all of us." Cassandra continued. "Of course, excited kami to have you guys board with us."
"So, we will choose a few students to come up here, and introduce themselves." Ross continued. "Don't be shy okay, tayo tayo lang naman to." He chuckled.
After that, Cassandra went down the stage and lumapit sa seated crowd to choose a few students.
"Oh, don't be shy, don't hide your pretty, and handsome faces." Cassanda says as she scan the crowd.
Later on, natawag ni Cassandra sina Haze, Kyungsoo, Luhan, and other 2 students.
"Goodmorning everyone!" Masayang bati ni Haze sa crowd when Ross handed her the mic. "I'm Haze Park, First year PolSci. You can call me Haze."
Haze bowed after introducing, and the crowd clapped for her.
"Hi, I'm Kyungsoo Do, First year BSHM." Pakilala naman ni Kyungsoo. "You can call me Kyungsoo, or Soo. Kung san kayo masaya."
"E what if sayo ako sasaya?!" Someone from the crowd shouted making him shy, and making the crowd cheer.
Kyungsoo bowed as well before exiting the stage.
"Hi, I'm Lu Han, First year Liberal Arts." Luhan says. "You can call me Lu, Lulu, or baby if you want to." He winked.
"Baby ko yan!" Another one from the crowd shouted
"Hey, baby." Luhan shot back making the crowd cheer.
Luhan bowed, and waved as he exit the stage.
Next na nagpakilala naman ang 2 students na kinuha ni Cassandra for the crowd.
"Wow, ang taas ng energy ng mga freshies natin." Ross clapped.
"I agree, Ross." Cassandra smiled.
"Now for the next part, a welcoming speech from one of our Sophomores. A role model student for everyone. Let's welcome, Junmyeon Kim!"
A familiar figure then went up to the stage as the crowd claps.
"Oh, shit." Ji cussed when the figure finally came into the spotlight, revealing a very familiar face.
"Goodmorning everyone." Suho greeted with a smile.
Sabi nila, pag inlove ka, tumitigil ang mundo mo. Bumibilis ang tibok ng puso mo at.. at hindi ka makahinga.
As if the world turned slow motion from Ji when Suho started his welcoming speech for the freshies. Her eyes focused on him, and nagdrown na lahat ng audio nya. All she can hear is Suho's voice, like a melody, a music that she is starting to love.
"Welcome to DLSU." Suho says as he look at Ji, at the same time, ito na lang din ang narinig ni Ji sa lahat ng sinabi nya.
Actually, when Haze went up stage, nagkaroon na ng feeling si Suho na baka andito din sina Eya, and Ji. So when he went up the stage, he quickly scanned the crowd to look for Haze. And, voila, nakita nya si Haze with Eya, Ji, and their friends. Nakita din nya kung papano na nakatingin lang si Ji sakanya, obviously surprised.
When Suho exited the stage, Ji stood up, and hahatakin nya sana palabas sina Eya, and Haze.
"Where are you going?" Pagpigil ni Kris sakanila. "May campus tour pa."
"Can we skip that?" Tarantang tanong ni Ji.
"Why are you nervous?" He asked. "Are you okay?" Napataas ng kilay si Kris.
"A-ano kasi.. si Eya!" Ji answered.
"Ako?" Gulat na tanong ni Eya na napatingin kay Ji.
"Oo, d-diba sabi mo ngayon yung release nung bag collection na inaantay mo?" Ji says. "Baka maubusan ka!"
Ji gave Eya the look na na-gets naman agad nya.
"Ah, o-oo!" Tingin ni Eya kay Kris. "Limited edition kasi yun."
"Oo nga pala, need ko din mag-grocery pala kasi." Haze added.
Kris, Lay, Tao, Kyungsoo, Luhan, and Xiumin gave them a confused look.
"You guys can do that later." Tao says. "The bag, kaya ko gawan ng way to get that, Eya."
"Now sit down, may next part pa itong Orientation." Kris ordered.
Having no choice, the three girls sat down again. Kris is respected as the eldest in their group, kaya naman sinusunod nila ito.
Ji then pulled put her phone, and sent a text message sa gc nilang tatlo na wala ang mga boys.
Ji: he's here!
Eya: kaya ba nagmamadali ka umalis?
Ji: oo! I need to hide!
Haze: why the heck would you hide?
Ji: I told him na taga-Ateneo ako when he asked me sa XYLO.
With that reply, gulat na napatingin sina Eya, and Haze kay Ji.
Ji: don't just look at me????
Eya: ghorl medyo gaga ka. bat mo sinabing taga Ateneo ka?
Haze: yan kasi nanghahalik.
Mahina namang hinampas ni Ji si Haze when she read the text, causing for Haze to laugh a little.
Eya: there is no point in hiding kase nakita ka naman na nya.
Haze: tru. sayo nga ata nakatingin buong speech nya.
Ji just groaned after the last text message. She placed her phone back on her bag, and nakinig na lang ulit sa speech ng Dean.
After the Orientation, a short break was announced bago muling mag-assemble sa Henry Sy Sr Hall for the start ng Campus Tour that Kris, and Suho will facilitate.
Buti na lang at hindi masyadong mainit ang weather ngayon, so a Campus Tour is not that bad.
Nasa bandang likod ang magkakaibigan when 2 familiar faces walked to them.
"So, DLSU?" Sehun greeted before looking at Eya. "Hello, love." He smiled.
"Magtigil ka nga!" Takip ni Eya sa bibig ni Sehun.
"Hey." Bati ni Baekhyun kay Haze.
"Hey, Da --- I mean, Baekhyun." Haze smiled. "Hey, Baekhyun."
The campus tour started na sumama sina Baekhyun, and Sehun sa friend group nila Eya, Haze, and Ji. Good thing naman ay good si Sehun, and Tao kaya naman chill lang din si Lay as the program went on.
It was an informative campus tour. Kris, and Suho did a good jon in explaining every halls to the freshies, and kung anong event ang madalas na ginaganap sa mga areas na napupuntahan nila.
Ji won't deny that Suho looked really good in his get up today. Slicked back hair, and school uniform.
"Huy, matunaw yan." Mahinang siko ni Luhan kay Ji, causing for her to get back to her senses.
"Lu naman." Ji flustered.
"Crush mo no?" Luhan teased.
"Bibig mo naman!" Sagot ni Ji. "Hindi no, sinasabi mo dyan?" Irap nya pa.
"Asus, wag ako ang lokohin mo Yeji Park." Luhan says. "Bagay naman kayo."
The tour ended when they got back at the Henry Sy Sr Hall.
"Now that concludes your Orientation." Kris says.
"Tomorrow will be Homeroom na." Suho added. "Feel free to roam around the campus today so you can be familiarized."
When the students started to disperse, agad na lumapit si Kris sa mga kaibigan nya.
"Guys, we can't join for lunch kasi may meeting kami with the Sports Board." Kris says. "Pero samahan muna namin kayo papunta sa cafeteria."
With all the agreement, they started to walk out of the hall leaving Baekhyun, Sehun, and Suho.
"So, akala ko taga-Ateneo ang anghel mo?" Medyo nang-aasar na tanong ni Baekhyun.
"Tataguan ka pa ata." Natatawa pang sabi ni Sehun.
"Well, at least she's here." Suho says. "Won't be hard to see her again."
"Yiiiieee si Baek andito yung baby." Asar pa ni Sehun.
"Don't you have a meeting with the Sports Board, Sehun?" Tingin ni Suho sa kaibigan.
"Am I really needed there?" Sehun groaned.
"Just go." Suho says. "Unless you want to be kicked out from the team, alam mo namang si Kris ang may hawak sa team, and he doesn't like late people."
Sehun let out another groan before finally heading to that meeting na hindi naman nya sure kung kelangan ba sya since he is a freshie.
"Okay na ba kayo dito?" Lay asked after getting their friends a table at the crowded cafeteria.
"May Mcdo din sana sa labas, kaso sure ako crowded din since lunch." Tao added. "Dun din kase kumakain yung mga students ng kalapit natin na school dito."
"Yeah, okay na ito." Kyungsoo says. "Kami na bahala."
The three (Kris, Lay, and Tao) then bid goodbye since may meeting pa nga sila.
"Kami na ni Lu mag-order." Xiumin says.
"Kayo na din ba magbabayad?" Biro naman ni Kyungsoo.
"Ay bro, alala mo bang may utang ka pa sakin na bente nung high school tayo kasi nilipad yung bente mo?" Asar naman ni Xiumin, making everyone laugh at the memory.
Luhan, and Xiumin then headed to the line to buy food. It's a bit long since lunch time nga.
"Dapat ata nagbaon na lang tayo." Sabi ni Kyungsoo.
"Next time siguro." Eya says. "First day pa lang naman, Soo."
"Baek, Suho!" Haze waved, and called when she saw the two looking for a vacant table na pwede pwestuhan.
Lumapit naman ang dalawa sa table nila.
"Join na kayo dito samen." Haze offered. "Wala na vacant table kasi ata."
"Okay lang ba?" Baekhyun asked.
"Yeah, sure." Eya answered.
"San si Sehun?" Kyungsoo asked.
"Ah, may meeting with the Sports Board, kasama nila Kris yun ngayon." Baekhyun answered.
Baekhyun sat down beside Haze, and Suho sat down beside Ji na nahihiya pa din dahil nag-replay nanaman sa utak nya yung ginawa nya sa XYLO. She just wants to disappear right now. Gusto na lang din matawa nila Eya, and Kyungsoo sakanya dahil obvious on how she feels embarrassed this moment.
"Hey, you okay?" Suho asked when he noticed na medyo umurong palayo sakanya si Ji.
"Y-yeah." Ji answered. "Baka lang kasi nasisikipan ka dyan sa pwesto mo so I moved?"
"Ji, ang lawak ng space." Nang-aasar na sabi ni Eya, and Ji gave her a please stop it look.
"Nakabili na ba kayo ng pagkain?" Haze asked. "Nasa pila pa ata sila Xiumin, pasabay na kayo."
"Ha? E nakakahiya naman." Baekhyun said.
"No, halika samahan kita sakanila." Haze offered. "Hindi papalag yon pag kami nagsabi." Natatawa pa nyang sabi.
Haze grabbed Baekhyun by the wrist causing for him to get a bit off balance nung napatayo sya.
"Mga tropa natin ang hilig manghatak e no?" Eya looked at Kyungsoo, remembering on how he pulled Ji away from Suho when they kissed.
Natawa na lang si Kyungsoo dahil alam nya na yung ang iniisip ni Eya.
Later on, sabay sabay na bumalik ng table sina Haze, Luhan, Xiumin, and Baekhyun with food.
"Oh shit, we forgot the drinks." Xiumin says.
"Sige na, I'll buy." Ji says hoping na makakalayo sya kay Suho for a while dahil nahihiya pa din sya.
"I'll go with you." Suho says.
"W-wag na." Tanggi ni Ji. "Kaya ko naman."
"Go na, pakisamahan na pls." Eya says.
"Ako na ---" Naputol na sabi ni Kyungsoo nung bigla syang sikuhin ni Eya.
"Go na, go." Eya says, shooing the two away.
Ji just sighed, and Eya smiled like she won something. Minsan talaga mahilig sila mag-asaran ng mga ganito.
Ji, and Suho made their way to line to get drinks, kaso mahaba din ang pila.
"There is vending machine not far from here." Suho says causing for Ji to look at him. "Do you wanna go there instead?"
"Hindi na, lalayo pa tayo e." Pagtanggi ni Ji, then humarap na sya ulit sa line as Suho is standing behind her.
Silence caved in for a minute until Suho decided to break it.
"As far as I know, this isn't the Ateneo campus. So, what are you doing here, my angel?" Naramdaman ni Ji on how Suho leaned to her ears when he asked that, she felt how his breath fanned her ears, and she smelled that minty breath again.
"Oh my God." Sabi naman ni Ji. "Please, stop." She almost begged dahil lunod na sya sa kahihiyan, hindi pa din sya humarap kay Suho.
"I'm just asking." Suho says as he stood straight again.
Ji then faced Suho when she felt na hindi na ito naka-lean in sakanya.
"Okay, I'm sorry I lied." Ji says. "I'm just really embarrassed with what I did sa XYLO."
Suho tilted his head a little.
"You were embarrassed to kiss me?"
"Your mouth!" Ji exclaimed sabay takip sa bibig ni Suho. "Ano ba?!"
Nagulat nanaman si Ji when she realized what she just did, so she immediately removed her hand from Suho's mouth.
"S-sorry." She says before turning her back again from Suho.
Cute. Suho thought before natawa ng bahagya.
Finally, they are able to order drinks na, and just waiting for the cashier for the total price to pay.
"I'll pay." Suho offered.
"Huh?" Tingin ni Ji sakanya. "Ako na, samin naman ito e."
"I can buy this whole cafeteria if you tell me to." Suho says.
"No need, Kris can buy this for me." Ji smiled before placing the payment on the counter. She gave Suho a teasing smiled before walking away, leaving a confused Suho kung bakit nadamay si Kris.
Natatawa naman si Ji sa naging reaction ni Suho when she mentioned Kris.
Akala mo ikaw lang magaling mang-asar, Kim Junmyeon? She thought.
As they walk back to the table, mas lalo na-confuse si Suho when he saw Sehun already sitting beside Eya.
"Meeting's done?" Suho asked, looking at Sehun.
"Tumakas nanaman." Baekhyun shook his head.
"What?" Tingin muli ni Suho kay Sehun.
"They don't need me there." Sehun shrugged.
"Did they tell you that?" Suho asked again.
"Dude, will you chill?" Sehun says. "Umupo ka na lang din, at kumain. Kausap ko girlfriend ko dito oh."
Agad naman na napatingin sina Kyungsoo, Luhan, and Xiumin kay Eya.
"Hoy baka gusto mong sakalin ka ni Kris mamaya." Xiumin says.
"Boang, hindi ko boyfriend to." Eya says.
"Ouch naman, love." Sehun pouts. "Ang sakit mo na, diba ikaw yung nanghalik ---"
Sehun was cut off when Eya covered his mouth.
"Shut up!" Eya says.
This made Kyungsoo, Luhan, and Xiumin give Eya a more what the heck are you doing look na binalikan na lang ni Eya ng medyo awkward na ngiti.
Their lunch went peaceful naman, nagkakilala ang dalawang friend group, and decided to be friends. After all, magkakakilala naman na silang lahat.
After lunch, Baekhyun, Sehun, and Suho bid goodbye dahil part sila ng Student Council, and there is a scheduled meeting. Ayaw pa sana si Sehun kaso kasama si Suho, kaya wala syang choice.
"Oh, plano?" Luhan asked.
"San na ba sina Kris?" Ji asked.
"Mamaya pa daw kasi may iba pa silang aatendan na meeting." Xiumin answered.
"Hay nako, tara na nga sa mall." Eya says. "Yung bag collection na inaantay ko pls."
"Samahan na namin kayo." Xiumin offered.
"Wag na Xiu." Eya says. "Baka may gagawin pa kayo e."
"Ay shit." Xiumin cussed. "Soo, may sched nga pala BSHM diba? Sa may Velasco Hall daw."
"Hala, gago oo nga pala!" Kyungsoo says.
Kyungsoo, and Xiumin bdi goodbye, at nagmadali na umalis dahil in 5 minutes na lang ay magsisimula na ang Freshie orientation for BSHM.
"Balik muna ako sa condo." Luhan says. "Sure kayo na okay lang kayo?"
"Yes, Lu." Tango ni Ji. "Don't worry na, tatawag na lang kami if we need help."
With that, Luhan headed back to the condo, at nag-mall naman ang tatlo. Haze headed to the grocery, while sinamahan naman ni Ji si Eya sa Charles and Keith shop.
Aside sa unit ni Kyungsoo, tambayan din ang unit ni Haze dahil silang dalawa talaga ang magagaling magluto sa group nila. The others can cook din, pero mas prefer nila ang luto nila Haze, Kyungsoo, and Xiumin. Ayaw lang kasi magpatambay ni Xiumin sa unit nya, and they respect that.
Haze was busy checking her grocery list when she accidentally bumped her pushcart into someone.
"I'm sorry!" Agad na tingin ni Haze sa nabangga.
"Baek?"
"Hey, baby." Bati ni Baekhyun before walking beside her.
"Are you following me?" Haze rose a brow.
"Nope." Iling naman ni Baekhyun pero Haze just looked at him. "Okay, I did." Pag-amin nito.
"That is weird." Haze says.
"Sorry naman na, I just wanna spend more time with you." Baekhyun says.
"Osya, sige." Haze says. "Ikaw magtulak ng cart."
Masaya namang tinanggap ni Baekhyun ang push cart from Haze, and they started the agenda.
"Ano ba mas maganda? This, or this?" Eya asked Ji while holding 2 bags.
"They are both pretty naman" Ji answered. "Bagay sayo both."
"I agree."
Napalingon ang dalawa to see Suho, and Sehun na papalapit.
"Why are you guys here?" Ji asked.
"Diba you have this meeting?" Eya rose a brow, looking at Sehun.
''It was moved at 5pm e." Suho answered.
"You.. did you follow us?" Ji asked again, looking suspicious at the two.
The girls waited for anyone of the guys to answer pero walang sumagot.
"Cool, silence means yes sabi nila." Eya shrugged.
Natawa na lang din si Sehun. Cause yes, they did follow them cause they want to know them more.
Eya ended getting 5 new bags, and Ji ended up with getting 3 new bags. Nagtatalo pa sila ni Suho earlier cause Suho wanted to pay for it, which tinanggihan ni Ji. Sehun wanted to pay for what Eya bought as well, pero tinanggihan din nya.
"Hindi naman namin kayo sugar daddy." Eya tells them.
"Oh, e diba kamo naghahanap kayo nun?" Pang-asar na tanong ni Sehun.
"Baliw, kalokohan lang ni Xiumin yon, dinamay pa kami." Depensa muli ni Eya.
"Love, pwede mo ako maging sugar daddy." Sehun teased causing for Eya na mag-cringe face.
"Huy, kilabutan ka nga." Eya says.
"Nakakakilabot talaga ka-gwapuhan ko, love." Sehun winked kaya naman hinampas na sya ni Eya ng paperbag, pero mahina lang naman.
Walking behind a nagba-bardang Eya, and Sehun are Ji, and Suho na tahimik lang, nagpapakiramdaman.
"Want me to carry that for you?" Suho offered.
"No, I can handle naman." Ji declined. "Thanks though."
"Why are you still shy around me?" Suho asked.
Medyo natawa naman si Ji. "Why are you so presko around me?"
"Cause I can be a bit presko around you." Suho answered.
"Listen to me, Kim Junmyeon.." Ji says as she stop walking, so Suho did too. "Forget what happened at XYLO, cause it will never, ever happen again."
Suho smiled a little before taking a step closer to Ji, who stepped back a bit.
Suho then leaned in, leveling his face to Ji. "Are we sure about that, angel? Cause I can kiss you right here, right now." He smirked causing for Ji to flush.
"I said stop!" Jin exclaimed before walking away from Suho na natawa nanaman.
Oh, how I love teasing you, angel. Suho thought.
"Huy, Ji! Teka!" Eya called nung nakita nyang nilampasan na sila ni Ji, walking a bit faster.
"I gotta go." Tingin ni Eya kay Sehun before grabbing the paperbags na buhat nito.
Eya then ran after Ji na malapit na sa exit ng mall.
"You, ano nanaman ginawa mo?" Sehun asked a smirking Suho.
"Nothing." Sagot ni Suho. "Tara na, malapit na mag 5."
Then Suho walked leaving a confused Sehun na agad namang sumunod.
