Adhvik's pov
She is 8 months and 3 weeks pregnant today.
And now,
We are sitting in our room watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. on netflix.
We both watch it often these days because she loves it. A lot actually.
And I don't but she blackmails me by saying that baby loves it. And I can't say otherwise.
We were sitting casually until I heard "adhvik my water broke.."
"Yeah so? Ohhh shitt shitt shitt"
I stood up and took our hospital bag.
"Mom it's time" I screamed....
I help yashi to stand up and mom arrived.
Dad and I look after some things before locking the house and mom helped yashi to sit in car.
"Hello aunty. Namaste. Actually aunty Yashika's water broke and we are going to hospital" I called my mother in law and informed her.
"Okk beta we are coming" She replied.
The whole ride Yashika seemed very dull and low in energy.
I was watching her from the mirror she was looking really dull.
I was worried for her
And in my mind there was only one regret that I couldn't help her.
I couldn't do anything for her.
I was feeling like a bad person.
After almost 15 minutes of drive we reached the hospital.
Her mom and dad were already there waiting for us.
After almost 5 minutes me and yashi were inside the labor room.
Doctor told us that the baby will be here after almost 2-3hours of labor.
I was scared.
Scared to be a father.
Scared to gain the biggest responsibility of my life.
She was in a pain.
But was bearing it in silence.
Such a strong girl.
I sat near her on a chair and caressed her hair.
She ask to hold my another hand for support.
And I hold her hand.
