After everyone was full which took Luke awhile, because he has an appetite of an elephant. And afterwards when everyone was worn out from board games. Luke and Delilah headed up to his room tired and worn out. Luke was playing video games as she curled up into a ball attempting to ease her cramps on his bed. Her period started earlier in the day and now she was really feeling the pain.
She let out a sigh and knew ibuprofen was not helping ease her cramps. He turned around to his girlfriend seeing her curled up in a ball. "Whats wrong?" He asked concerned as she looked up to him. "Cramps" she answered with a mumble.
He frowned as she closed her eyes letting out a breath of air. "Alright im gonna go bye guys" He told his friends through the mic and got up from his seat. "Come here" he whispered opening his arms as she crawled into them.
He kissed her temple as felt him place his warm calloused hands on her lower stomach. She let out a sigh of relief and melted into his touch. "I love you" She whispered as he had a small smile resting on his face. "I love you too" he pulled her closer to him. He placed kisses on her neck and her cheek while she closed her eyes relaxed.
The warmth radiating off of his hands provided some relief from her excruciating cramps. She knew he had dosed off of because of the slow breaths fanning against her neck and the tender little kisses had stopped.
She had missed this so badly and the contrast of his calloused hands from hockey, and her soft skin on her stomach. She felt so at ease when in his arms, she misses the blanket of warmth and love he provided her. Lukes nuzzled closer into her neck as she smiled and let out a content breath of air.

Her eyes fluttered open with Lukes arms wrapped securely around her body. She reached for her phone to check the time it was nearing 10 am as she rubbed her eyes.
She attempted to slip out of his arms but failed when his grip tightened. He groaned as she laughed a bit and turned her body to face him. "Don't get up" He dove into her neck with grogginess coating his voice.
She rubbed his back as he sighed contently. "I wish you were always around" he mumbled as she had a soft smile on her face. "Me too" she whispered back as he placed kisses on the exposed skin of her neck. Resulting with a rush of a heartbeat and a shiver running down her spine.
"I love you so much Li" he told her pulling away from the security of her neck. "I love you too Lukey" she smiled and gently connected their lips together. She played with curls at the nape of his neck and pulled away placing his head on her chest.
If she could spend the rest of her life doing something, it would be laying in bed with Luke. Tucked away under the comforters; legs entwined. With sweet and tender kisses placed gently on cheeks and lips.
It was such an endearing moment for the two lovers, who have been away from each other. The outside was distant: it simply didn't matter. Only each other gazing into the eyes of one another with adoration.
If someone were to walk in, they probably would be love sickened by the image of it. But having Delilah in Lukes arms was all he looked forward to. Practice and games were important but Delilah was always going to be the girl he wanted to come home to.
He earned to be greeted by her when he comes home from a game or practice. With a kiss to his lips and her bright smile she flashed whenever she was with him. Listening to her mindlessly tell him little details of her day.
He just missed her everyday with the realization that she still had a full another year of college. And he hated the idea of that, but he didn't want her to throw away her dream for him. Shaking the thought from his mind he looked at him girlfriend who was texting Azalea.
"Wanna go downstairs?" He asked as she nodded her head and closed her phone. She put her slippers on and opened Lukes door. Once they made it downstairs Quinn and Jack were sitting on the couch and glance up to the two.
"Well look who's finally up" Quinn teased as she rolled her eyes at him. Jack and Luke laughed as she went over to grab some coffee and a piece of pie leftover in the fridge. Which surprisingly lasted all night in the Hughes house.
She sat down at the island and Luke soon came over sitting down next to her, with a bowl of cereal in hand.
The two ate breakfast with a side of laughter caused from instagram reels. And took in each other until once again they had to leave each other.
