ezra had just gotten taken away in an ambulance, ali and i saw A ontop of the ambulance as it drove away, what other worse things could happen tonight
"you know what to say, right? don't stay on the line a second longer than you have to" spencer tells hanna "it's the strongest one they had" emily says as she hands alison a can of pepper spray "are you sure you wanna do this?"
"ezra just saved mine and arabellas lives" alison says "and he probably saved yours too. hanna's right. there's no way my mom made that jump, she's not A, but ezra knows who is"
"look, em, the plan was to get ali and bella out of town tonight. but now that we know A is after ezra--"
"i get that A wants to shut ezra up, okay, but bella and ali still are targets, can't we think of another way to do this?" emily says
"hi. um, the guy who just got shot at bank and hudson is ezra fitz. i think you should send a cop to the hospital because i saw what happened and i don't think that this was a random thing, well, yeah, but he might not be safe, so you better go fast" hanna says into the phone before hanging up
"are they sending somebody?" aria asks as i rub her back "yeah, i heard her typing. look, they're probably on their way"
"are we sure that we wanna split up?" emily says "a wise commander takes measures to always let his opponent....react to the wrong set of circumstances. in 400 BC-"
"okay, okay. spencer, we get it. we're decoys. we don't need a history lesson"
"there's no art to this war, spencer" alison tells her "you've read sun tzu?" spencer asks in confusion "okay, lets go" i say getting bored of the conversation thats happening
"wait" hanna says stopping us as she pulls the gun out of her pocket "just incase" she says as aria snatches the gun off of her "thanks han" i tell her as we start to walk away
"we'll give you 10 minutes, okay? and then we're making the call" emily calls out as we turn around the corner.
"i don't understand how ezra found us" aria says as we walk down the stairs of the subway "maybe he didnt find us" alison says "i think he was following A" i tell aria "and A was following us" aria says "this is what you two were always so afraid of, that we'd lead A to you"
"aria, you know why ezra's still looking for me. it's because he wants to win you back. does he have a chance?" alison tells her "sorry should i leave this conversation?" i ask
"ali, i can't think about that right now. i don't even know if he's alive" aria says as she ignores my question making me roll my eyes "come on, we gotta go" i tell them as i walk towards the subway.

the three of us quickly rush into the hospital i let out a huff as we run over to the service desk
"hi we're looking for a patient that was just admitted. ezra fitz?" aria asks the lady, alison and i look around the room as the lady types up ezras name onto the computer
"alison dilaurentis and arabella montgomery please report to the emergency room" the loud speaker says "alison dilaurentis and arabella montgomery report to the emergency room"
"okay, you two better get out of here" aria tells us, i look back at aria one last time before grabbing onto alisons hand, following her down the hall. ali and i quickly rush out the emergency door which leads us out onto the streets
i take a quick look back to see if A's following us as we walk down the busy road, i tighten my grip on alis hand when i see a person in all black following us
"they're behind us" i mumble into her ear.
"hey!!" a man shouts as we walked infront of his taxi "sorry" i call out as we cross the road
"shit" i whisper to myself when ali and i see A standing infront of us "this way" she mumbles as she drags me down a road, "here" ali says as we run into the park. i look around to see if the three girls are here "they arent here" i mumble. our plans gonna go to shit
ali and i watch as the swings creaks as it swings "want to play?" a voice behind us whispers making me "its over" they tell us
"no its not" i grin "did you really think we'd let ali and bella leave that hospital alone?" spencer says "we paged alison so you'd know they where there" emily says "i guess you don't read sun tzu, bitch" hanna says
"hey" alison says making A turn around, she immediately pulls the pepper spray out of her pocket and sprays A in the face, we all watch as A gasps for air
"are you sure that's A?" we all turn around noticing another A "maybe i'm A" another A says "or maybe its one of them" they say as multiple A's appear around the park
"im A" "no im A" they all say as the five of us hold onto eachother as the bunch of A's circled us, laughing at us. the group of A's immedietly ran away as police sirens started wailing
"N.Y.P.D. break it up" they say over the speaker "all right, folks we need you to disperse, now"
"A was one step ahead of us" i say as we hide behind the slide "at least we got A away from ezra" alison tells me "let's get out of here" emily says before we all run away from the playground.
i sighed as spencer told aria the story on how we lost A "i'm sorry you lost that bitch, but you did get A out of here" aria tells us through the phone "is ezra out of surgery?" i curiously ask
"i heard them tell ezra's mom that the bullet- traveled up and hit- she's getting on a plane, but she's in sydney, and there's nobody here for him but me" aria says making us all look at eachother
"do you want us to come there?" hanna asks "no, so far i'm blending in, but i think with the six of us, it might be waving a red flag" aria tells us
"once he's out of surgery it'll take him a few hours to wake up, we need to find somewhere to go." emily says "call us as soon as you hear anything" alison adds on
"i will, guys, promise me you'll be safe" aria tells us "don't worry about us, aria. we'll be okay. we promise" spencer says "bye" i say before hanging up on her
"if A can't get to ezra, you two are the available targets tonight" emily tells us "yeah, em's right. we can't just stand out herein the street like sitting...ducks" hanna says
"i know a place we can go" alison tells them "the theatre?" i asked making alison nod
"what theatre?" spencer asks "we'll tell you on the way. come on" i say as i start to lead the way.
"pause ezras actually rich??" hanna says as alison told her the story on the place "crazy right" i tell her as i push the theatre door open
"well, if you wanted to impress someone with a "wow" moment....this would definitely be how you do it" hanna says as alison turns the lights on, i smile as i watch the three girls look at the place in awes
"he didn't bring me here to impress me. this was kind of his special place that's when i realized ezra was...a rich boy pretending to be a poor boy. i actually liked him more for that. not because he didn't want the money. but because...he totally had me fooled. i actually thought that was an asset back then" alison slightly chuckles as i sit down on the couch
"wow! this is a real gun" hanna says as she holds up the gun "put it down then!" i tell her "hanna!" emily shrieks as she ran up to her lowering the gun
"so you think we'll be okay here until morning?" hanna asks "we've stayed over a few times. they don't open this place until noon" i tell her "what was that?" alison asks as we all hear a rumble
"spencers stomach" emily and hanna say at the same time
"sorry. i haven't had anything to eat since a petit four at that bridal show" spencer says.
"come on, lets raid the concession stand" ali chuckles "do you think that it's still gonna be stocked?" spencer asks as we walk up the stairs.
"spence, we need to get you some food" hanna tells her "i'm literally at the point where i cannot think" spencer says as she opens up the cupboard
"well, i guess nutty chews can count as a protein and gummy bears as a fruit?" hanna says as she looks at the packaging making the four of us chuckle "i don't care. i was so hungry i was about to eat the foam out of those seat cushions"
"i saw that episode" "me too, that lady went through three couches in a year"
"what show is this?" alison asks with a small smile
"freaky foodies?" "have you seen it?"
ali and i shook our heads, do they think we had a tv in the whole year we where gone?
"spencers obsessed" "what, and you're not? we watched that entire marathon together. oh, my god remember that guy who ate the dryer sheets?" "that was so gross"
i watched the three girls talk with a frown on my face. everything was definitely not gonna go back to normal
"i need to find a better place to make a call" alison says taking me out of my thoughts
"who do you need to talk to?" spencer asks "i have a few friends that are going to be worried now that the police know i'm alive. they've risked a lot to help me. i just need to let them know i'm okay" alison says before walking away
"anyways" i smile "how's jason?" i curiously ask, disctracting them so they couldn't go listen to alison "is there something im missing?" i slightly chuckle as i look at the girls faces
"why didn't you come back for him?" spencer asks "spencer!" hanna mumbles "oh, going straight for it huh" i grin at her
"why didn't you come back for him?" spencer asks again "because it was too risky" i tell her "no it wasn't he loves you" she states "oh please, did you really want to visit your brother from prison spencer. i had to do what was best for him" i tell her
"the best thing for him would of been you at home with him" she yells "do you think it's been easy to not see him" i yell at her "do you think it's been easy hiding from him? because it hasn't"
"bella" emily mutters "no! your all acting like this has been easy for me" i tell them before storming away into the bathrooms.
i look at myself in the mirror as i break down into tears. god i look like shit.

"wake up bella" i hear a voice say as they shake me "what?" i mumble as i wipe my eyes, did i cry myself asleep in the bathroom?
"alison and emily are gone" spencer tells me as i get up off the couch thats in the bathroom "they have to be here somewhere" i tell them as we walk out the bathroom "hey, um, aria's on the phone, but we can't hear her" hanna admits
"tell her to call the house line" i tell her "you guys go find ali and emily, im gonna go wait for arias call" i tell them as i walk towards the phone.
"ezra made it through surgery but I haven't been able to--" i hear aria say before the line gets cut off
"hello?" i ask before putting the phone back onto the holder "it cut out" i tell the girls before picking the phone back up as it rang again
"hello? can you hear me?" i ask as i put the phone to my ear "hello?" i hear a mans voice say "arabella?" they ask
i gasp as i quickly slam the phone back into the holder "that wasn't aria was it?" alison asks as i shake my head, the five of us watch as the phone rings again, we stare at it until it stops ringing
"did you recognise the voice?" emily asks me "no" i say as i shake my head
"okay, we can't wait for ezra to tell us who A is. we have to get you two to the airport, you can still use those passports and tickets, right?" spencer asks "i dont have mine anymore" alison admits
"what?" i say in shock "i gave my get-out-of-town-free card to someone who needed it more than i did" she says, who the fuck needed it more, "hey ali, who needs more help than you do?"
"it doesnt matter" she tells us "it does to us, look, ali, either you trust us or you don't."
"god. no more secrets, you were wrong before. they didn't keep us together" hanna admits "look can we just get our stuff and get the fuck out of here" i ask the four girls "we can argue about this in a cab, okay? let's grab our stuff and go" emily says agreeing with me
"come on, we have to hurry" spencers says as we all run back onto the stage, we all pause when the lights turn off "whos out there?" emily calls out, i jump when the lights turn back on
"couldn't have picked a better place to end your story" shana says as she walks out the curtains, pointing her gun towards ali and i
"shana" alison gasps as spencer pulls us closer to her "shana please" i beg
"i thought i locked you all together at the lodge" she tells us, keeping the gun pointed towards us "but i guess you two were late to the party, alison and arabella. so much for fighting fire with fire."
"put the gun down, shana" hanna tells her as spencer tries walking closer to her "get back spencer, get back!"
"we trusted you shana" i tell her as i cling onto spencer
"you once told me the only way to trust someone is to not ask too many questions. and then you sent me to rosewood to ask questions. move"
"shana. why?" alison sniffles "why would you turn on us like that" i cry as i move away from spencer, the gun staying pointed at me
"i got so many answers from all the people you hurt. your own boyfriend was afraid of you bella"
"okay, bell-" emily tries to say "get back" shana yells at emily
"they've made mistakes, okay, shana? but what makes you better?" emily asks "you're sick, shana, like mona was, but we can get you help" hanna tells her
"i'm not mona. this isn't a game"
"so what is it?" spencer asks
"justice" shana tells us "for who?" spencer asks "jenna" alison says as she walks over to me "you fell inlove with her"
"you have no idea who she is" shana tells us "we never meant-" emily tires to say "get back or i'll blow your head off" shana pauses "what did you call it once ali? a happy accident?"
"jenna doesnt love you shana, she's playing you thats what she does" i tell her "no, thats what you two do" shana spits
"so what? she's the mastermind and you're her henchman?" spencer asks as shana points the gun at her "jenna doesn't even know im here. and she'll never know" shana turns her gun back onto me and ali "and once im done with you two, she can finally get back to her life"
"hey shana" i look over to see aria with the gun hanna was previously holding, aria smacks shanas gun up, making it shoot at a light. we all scream as shards of glass come flying down. we watch as aria hits shana with her gun making her fall off the stage. we all quickly run over to aria as we look at the floor where shanas laying as blood spills out of her head.
we watch as emily goes down and feels shanas pulse "she's dead" emily says with a shaky voice
"oh god" i whisper as i pull my sister into a hug "you did what you had to do alright" i tell her "arabellas right. she would of killed all of us" emily tells her
"it really is over" aria says as she pulls away from the hug "its over" she whispers "yeah" spencer whispers as she and emily pull aria into a hug
"lets go home" emily tells us "we can't just leave her here" alison tells us
i watch as spencer pulls out her phone, dialing a number "there's been an accident"
