In awe
The soft beat of your heart
often had me craving more
To know of you past
Of your future unknown
To be included in that picture frame, you'll one day keep in your home
'Those who are meant to be surely find their way'
"Nonsense, it will never happen" I would then say
I believed that you were a faraway dream
That i had only been dreaming
I felt my heart breaking, slowly melting down the drain
To hold your hand
To pull you in a tight embrace
Pleading silently to your innocent face
I didn't believe in that statement before
Until you grabbed my hand and confessed
"I have feelings for you, mi amor"
