It has been 2 weeks since you have recovered from your injuries and it's now the day for the sports festival
It's getting to you, I mean everyone you know will be watching it, your uncle, mom, the Ninjas, Pixel, Kai's girlfriend, the weird dojo owner you used to train at, and everyone else in the country!
As you got ready for what felt like your most important day of U.A so far, you had finished drying your hair and went to the kitchen to meet your mother, Wu, and Kai
"Hey Y/n! You ready for the festival? Look talking from experience you don't have to be afraid, just be confident and do the best you can" Kai said as he shook your dried up hair which you smiled at and shook his
"I can't believe this is happening! Oh you're gonna attract so many girls! But don't have to much!" Misako said as she hugged you right
"M-Mom..!" Y/N said embarrassed
"C'mon get off of your boy, look Y/n, today is the day you show your strength to the world, don't get discouraged by anyone there, because ninjas..." Wu said as he looked at you while putting one hand on your shoulder
"... Heh, Ninjas never quit" Y/N said as you and Wu smiled at each other
"Shoot we're gonna be late! C'mon!" Kai says as you and him went on his motorcycle
Y/N had gotten drop off and was met with Nejire while walking
"Hey Y/n! Are you freshman ready for the festival?" Nejire said as she poked you a bit while teasing
"Well in honesty I am nervous, but I got it" Y/N said with a smile as he poked Nejire back and they horsed around for a while
Y/N eventually got to class and Aizawa hadn't talked about anything regarding the festival so he taught class like normal, then it became lunch
Lunch
"Hello Y/N how are you today? I'm guessing you want the usual?" The chef asked
"Yup, you know it " Y/N responded with, whilst rubbing the back of his head whilst smiling as he got his tray of dumplings, he then walked down with the others
"Hey guys" Y/N
You sat down in sitting with Iida, Kirishima, Izuku, Ochaco, Tsuyu and Mina
"Are any of you nervous about the sports festival?" Tsuyu
"I'm excited about it! I can't wait!" Mina
"I do agree with Ashido, the sports festival is an opportunity for UA students to be scouted by pro agencies. It's one more step to becoming pro heroes" Iida
"Speaking of being heroes" Izuku said with his tone being curious
"Can I ask you all a question?" Izuku
"Sure, Deku" Uraraka said.
"Why do you want to be Heroes?" Izuku shrugged
"I mean, it's kind of obvious that I was inspired by All Might, but what about the rest of you?" Izuku
Iida smiled "Well, I come from a long line of Heroes and I see it as a responsibility and a great honor to uphold that tradition!"
"I've been blessed with a good life, and a good Quirk. I felt that I should do all I can to give back to the world as a hero" Yaoyorozu said looking a little embarrassed
"Ribbit, I really like helping people, and I'm pretty good at making my siblings happy, so I thought I could make other people happy too" Tsu
"Crimson Riots my favourite all time hero. He inspired me that no matter what quirk you have, if you have a chivalrous spirit you can make it" Kirishima clenched his fist and his confident smile
You were eating your noodles and then decided to explain your reason
"Well... In my household it's filled with heroes, my friends Kai, Cole, Zane, Pixel, Nya, and Jay, each of them had started out as a student at U.A struggling to become great until my uncle took them under his wing... I want to prove the same by meeting their expectations and... Become a hero to be able to make my long gone father proud" Y/N
The table was silent.
"Sorry about your father man" Kirishima said with a concerned look
"Don't worry It's fine, besides, I know he would've been proud of me at this moment" Y/N
With this topic being a bit touchy Mina decide to try to put this on Uraraka
"So uh why did you become a hero Uraraka?" Mina
"O-Oh, um if I answer can you all promise you won't make fun of me?" Uraraka said a bit nervous
Everyone unanimously promised.
"Well... for the money" Uraraka
"Really? I mean, there's nothing wrong with that, being a Pro Hero is still a job, but-" Izuku said trying to make her feel better
"No, it's not that." Uraraka looked down at her lap
"My parents... they have a construction company, but business hasn't been very good for a while. They don't have a lot of money, so I thought I could be a Pro Hero and make their lives easier. They kept telling me that I didn't have to do it for them, but they worked so hard to get me into UA, so when I make it big, I'm gonna send them on an all-expense-paid vacation to Hawaii!" Uraraka
By the time she was done, everyone had stopped to stare at her.
"What?" Uraraka
"That is incredibly noble! You're sacrificing some of your own future to help your family! Truly, you are a selfless person!" Iida said giving her a pat on the back
"Yeah, now I feel kinda bad, I wanted to be a Hero because of all the cool stuff I could do, but I never really thought about how I would help people. I think you just inspired me, Ochako!" Mina
"I feel the same as Mina, being a Hero always sounded cool, but helping people I know never really crossed my mind. I always pictured myself helping random citizens, but actually having a connection to people I've helped... I've got some stuff to think about now" Denki
"Ribbit, that's really sweet of you. You're doing a good thing" Tsu
Yaoyorozu just nodded, she was thinking about how she could help Uraraka with her situation
"That is now my favorite reason why anyone became a Hero" Izuku said as he reached out and put his hand over hers
"I- uh y-yeah! Th-hanks Deku!" Uraraka
"You have a great goal of becoming a hero, try your best Uraraka" Y/N
Mina watched Izuku and Uraraka were holding hands while smirking, she lightly elbowed Tsuyu, pointed with her chin in their direction, and waggled her eyebrows
Tsuyu smiled and looked on but then rolled her eyes as Mina made it look like they were kissing
After Lunch
You all went to 1-A and sat down, eventually Aizawa entered the room but there was something about him
"Now look, I know you are all pumped but there is one I forgot to mention" Aizawa
Oh no... what is it now?
"I wish all of you the best of luck, go past your limits" Aizawa said in a surprisingly positive tone and with a smile
"Now go, it's time for the festival, put in your gym uniforms"
We all went to the door but we were met up with a lot of people
"Hey! What is happening? Why are you all gathered around the entrance of our homeroom?" Iida asksd
"They are here to scout the competition, after all, we survive a villain attack" Bakugo said then scowled
"But it's useless. Out of my way you extras!" Bakugo
"You can't call people extras just because you don't know who they are" Iida
But then out of the coward one person walked out of it to confront Class 1-A
"Ha! So this is the famous class 1.A? I
expected a lot more from someone who survived a villain attack! Anyway, I'm not interested in you, I wanna see that guy who tried to take down that villain" A guy with blond hair said with a cocky grin
"Why do you care?" asked Kirishima while standing in front of the blonde
"Ah! I haven't introduced myself yet! I'm Neito Monoma from class 1.B, best heroics class! And of course your little adventure took away the spotlight from us! But if you're soo much better then how did the villains even snuck up on you? And Why do you have such a rude person in the class!" Monoma said while pointing at Bakugo
While this was happening you just tried to just walk away but then you heard that dude say something
"Look how he runs away from the competition faces! Is that the true face of class 1.A? Bunch of weak cowards?!" Monoma
"... What was that?" You said turning around and looked at Monoma with your eye flashing purple
"Hey you're wrong! Y/N was the one who fought off that villain who attacked us at the U.S.J!" Hagakure said defending you
"Y/N is no coward or a weakling! He was the one who was able to stop the Nomu before mmnghfff-" Mina tried to say but stopped thanks to Tokoyami
The whole crowd now looked at Y/N in a new shade, the looks of admiration, fear, jealousy
"So this is the one! The one who tried to stop the creature but almost died trying? Wow man you really wanted the spotlight more than anyone huh? You must've been so scared but tried to play it off like you're a "true" hero" Monoma said as he tried to make you seem like a joke which then you got mad at, let's say you inherited some of your father
"Alright... You wanna talk jokes? Wanna play around and act like people's lives weren't at sake? Look I don't usually get mad this quickly but you are a real nasty prick if you got me mad... This will be your only warning from me, I will not hesitant to smack your a*s out of this building you hear me?" Y/N said with his eyes dilated purple, he looked straight at Monoma with his hand holding his collar
"Y/N!"
You look to see it's Aizawa outside of the door looking at you two
"Look I know you didn't start this fight, don't make it worse for yourself by causing a reason to make you the bad guy in this situation, let me go, I'll deal with him" Aizawa said as he walked up to you two
"I-, sorry sir" Y/N said as your eyes dilating back to your usual bright green color and you let him go, leaving Aizawa there to deal with him
Before anyone could say anything another voice was heard from a student whose purple hair defied gravity, he looked as if he hadn't slept in days like Aizawa
"Tell me something, are all students in the Hero course either arrogant duchebags or rude as*holes who threaten to kill each other? Based on what I saw I must say, I'm disappointed." Some of the members of class 1.A looked apologetic except for Bakugo
"Those of us, who did not make it to the hero course are stuck in other courses. There's many of us, you know?"
"If we perform well enough at the festival, they'll consider transferring you to the Hero course and of course, if any of you perform poorly, you might get kicked out. This a great opportunity to knock you guys down a peg or two. Consider this Everyone in Class 1.A, a declaration of war!" He said with a serious look on his face
After that everyone walked away with Monoma getting in trouble for his harsh comments
Sports Festival
Two weeks of training, studying, and more were all about to be poured into this event
While there were a few people who were confident in the festival like Bakugo, Krishima, Mina and so forth some aren't
"Wow, I can't believe two weeks went by so fast" Momo
"No kidding, I've been working my butt off, improving my Quirk just for today" Kirishima
"Still they could at least let us use out Hero Costumes, I really wanted to show it off" Mina
"I think they chose to do it so that everyone is equal." Ojiro
"Yeah but honestly I have grown with my outfit, I really wanna show my family it, I wanna know what they think of it" Y/N
"Attention, everyone! We will be going outside in ten minutes!" Iida called out
"Yeah! Let's show them how strong we are! I'm so pumped!" Uraraka shouted with determination as a pink aura surrounding her.
"She's so intense..." Kaminari muttered with a sweatdrop.
"No kidding she's usually the most chill girl here." Jiro
The door to the locker room opened, allowing Shota Aizawa to poke his head out
"Mr Aizawa?" The class turned their heads towards their homeroom teacher
"Is everyone ready? There's no turning back after this." Aizawa
"Yeah!" Everyone says collectively
"Hm, Good" Aizawa said giving us a smile
After he left Shoto started to talk
"Midoriya" Shoto
"Yeah Todoroki?" Izuku
"... It's fairly clear that I'm stronger than you" Shoto
And with that started a face off
"However, you've got All Might helping you out. I may not know what's going on between you two, but know that will beat you." Shoto said serious
"Hey, there's no need to pick a fight, we're all here to compete, not wage wars" Momo
"She's right. Why don't you relax, Todoroki?" Kirishima said while putting a hand on Shoto's shoulder, only for him to shrug it off
"We're not here to be each other's friends, this isn't a team effort" Shoto
"Well calm down first, I understand where you are going but you don't need to be so rude about it" Y/N
"Midoriya isn't the only one I'll defeat, I'll defeat you too" Shoto said giving you a sharp glare
You realized where he is going with this and you glared back, the top two of Class 1-A stared down at each other not letting the other win
"What does he mean by that?" Toru asked nervous
"This isn't good" Sero said with a gulp.
"Ooh, spicy! The class' no. 2 is declaring war on the class' no. 1! Place your bets guys!" Kaminari quipped
Shut up this is serious!" Jiro said while hitting him with her earphone jacks. "
"Even if I am weaker than you what makes you think you can boss everyone here... Shoto Todoroki?" Y/N
"Because I am the only one who has what it takes to beat All Might" Shoto
"It's not all about strength, you need to understand it will take skill, smarts, and effort to win, and I don't see you doing that with you only using half of your quirk" Y/N
"You're not the only one who wants to fight him." Bakugou approaches them
"How dare you declare war on them idiots without me. This is my opportunity to show you all up. Remember that Deku, Icy Hot, Battery, I'll beat all 3 of you" Bakugou said looking at the trio
"And I... want to beat you guys as well" Izuku said surprising everyone
"I want to show everyone how far I've come. Even if you, Kacchan, and Y/N are stronger and have more potential than anyone else here..." Izuku said looking at Todoroki
"I won't let you push me down. I won't be your punching bag Kacchan, I'll go on, even if I do lose" Izuku said now looking at Bakugo
"All the other classes will be gunning for us with everything they've got." Izuku said as his right hand began to shake
a bit
"We're all going to have to fight to stand out, and you can be damn sure I'll be aiming for the top too." Izuku
Tch "Whatever Deku" Bakugou
And with that everyone heard Present Mic as they were about to be called, they all got ready and stood proud
