Oscar woke up with an empty space next to him where once there was a very handsome man lay down
He decided to go back to sleep until the handsome man he mentioned kiss his head and hold his arm from behind him.
Max was bending down, trying to get his fiance to wake up.
"Schatje come on.."
"5 more minute Max.. Please.."
"You say that 5 minutes ago, and 5 more minutes ago and- Mhm. It's been 20 minutes now. Let's wake up yeah? I already order you porridge, juice and some berries"
"Can I at least eat in bed?"
"Sure, but sit first."
As he take the porridge to give it to Oscar, he looks at his fiance for a while before going there and give it to him.
"You know, your hair is getting longer" He said as he sit next to him
"And you have said that for the third time this week." Oscar slowly lift the spoon to eat his porridge
"Kinda remind me of your time in Alpine"
"Really?" Oscar take a few strand of his hair and bring it closer to his eyes to investigate it "I don't really notice it.., I will cut it later then"
"Do you like it?" That question came out of Max mouth unexpectedly
"What? What do you mean?"
"Do you like it? Your hair being long?"
"I guess so."
"Then dont cut it"
"But you're literally the one asking me to cut it!!"
"Well, whatever makes you happy suit you"
"Oh fuck you Maxie."
Seeing his fiance pout, Max can't help but let out a laugh. Then he cup his fiance face and bring it closer to his face
"Now don't ruin your mood. You agree on a date today" He gives a very soft smile
"Oh yeah! I forget it. So, did you already pick a shirt for us?"
"Mhm, wait a moment" He leaps out of the bed to get something in the closet
As Oscar wait for Max, he put the now empty plates to the table next to the bed and play with his hair
"Here." After a while, Max finally comeback with two pairs of clothing
"Let me see~" Oscar was doing a grabby hand gesture but Max interrupts it "go shower first, then you can wear it"
He said that with a smirk on his face, which makes Oscar kinda questioning the clothes.

Oscar get out of the shower looking at an already dressed Max. He looks so majestic with his brown coat and black sweeter. At this point, Oscar didn't care if Lando going to lecture him on how brown didn't go with black, because God. It might be his favorite outfit on Max.
Tbh, through out their relationship in this 5 years, Oscar always think that whatever clothes will suit Max. (Expect skinny jeans, I think we all could agree on that one)
"Maxie? Where's my clothes?"
"Hm? Oh you're finished! Here" Max lend him a white long sleeve clothes and a light brown pants
After wearing it and investigate it with the mirror Oscar notice something.
"Um, Max? Isn't too revealing?" Because in the back, those white shirt has a tie back criss-cross on the middle, revealing his back
"It's okay, after all the clothes won't stay long on you" Max approach him and hug him from behind, kissing his fiance hair after successfully clinging on him
Max words success to make Oscar goes red.
"Wha-! But we're going out! What if someone else saw it? I'm fine wearing this for a private dinner, but we're going on a date. A whole day date. There'll be so many stranger"
"You don't double check, did you schat?
I know you won't like it on public, so I grab some vest to go with it" Max grab some brown vest from the pile of towel scattered on the floor
After Max helps Oscar put the vest on, he looks perfect. The vest and pants suit his hair and eyes so much. And the white clothes managed to make it not too overwhelmed. In max eyes, it looks like he was seeing an angel right now.
"It's.. It's perfect. I love it, thank you Max" Oscar leans in to Max, kiss his palm hand as he make eye contact with him on the mirror. They both smile, and god it feels like they really are meant to be.
"So, where do you think our first stop would be good?"
"We could go to see some animals in the zoo, and then we can go karting then stop at the waffle troffle for lunch and at our final stop we can go to book store if you would like.."
"You just have to plan everything didn't you?" Oscar chuckle hearing all of the plans his fiance made
"Sorry.."
"Don't apologize. Not a fault, not a mistake. That's one of the reason I accept being your fiance. Now let's go to the zoo, pretty please?"
With that, Oscar hand was grabbed and he was pulled out of their hotel rooms.
Oh, it's going to be a fun date!

"Hmm.. I don't know, they don't have any kangaroo or koala. So you pick!"
"How about the lion!" Max ask in such a happy tone
"Sure, let's see~" Oscar break their hand as he open the map
While Max leading the way, Oscar keep telling him the instruction on where to go and Max make sure Oscar doesn't bump into anyone
"OMG SCHAT THE LION IS CHILLING!" Oscar hand was instantly pulled closer there to the lion, and he got fascinated. But not by the lion, he get a bit distracted by the person who admire the lion, he got fascinated by Max.
As he sees how happy Max and how his eyes are so bright when he see the lion. Oscar can't help but let a smile cover his face whole.
And at the exact moment, Max choose to look at Oscar. And there it is, they do eye contact. And that makes Oscar flushed, because he just get caught admiring his fiance.
"Haha, you look so cute when you're shy schat" Max slowly carees his finger through Oscar face
To avoid looking more dumb, Oscar took out his phone and snap a picture of the lion
"Should we go to the pinguin now?" Max ask while looking at the photo Oscar just took
"Sure!"

After running around the whole zoo, they finally finished seeing all of the animal and even takes some photo.
Max was happy and satisfied, Oscar was even certain when they get home he will be seeing one single album dedicated to the lion on this zoo by Max camera.

"I already book a session on COTA. Would that be alright?"

As they stand next to the kart and about to put on their helmets, Max ask one final question "You sure youre ready? I'm not gonna hold back, you know."
"I was born ready Max."
They hop to the kart, take their position. And Lucas was signaling them with the classic intro in F1
"Lights out.. And away we go!"
At first Max was leading, they were speeding so much they might already break the speed rule there
But then, on the first corner Oscar managed to take the lead
And they keep fighting for p1. Max really are not lying when he said he would not hold back, but Oscar still got the McLaren f1 driver spirits inside him. Fighting for a win after so long.
After Max leading for some laps, it was at the final lap and the final corner, Oscar was able to take lead and finish on P1
Still not over with the adrenaline, Oscar sit on the kart and looking at his hand with excitement, and soon get pulled by Max into a hug "you really are a fantastic driver! I'm so lucky you're not in f1 anymore" He make a kiss contact while both of them still have their helmets on and spin Oscar
"So, you're admit that I'm better than you~?" Oscar ask after take off his helmet, his face are pale but his cheek are so red and most importantly, his face was full of a victorious smile.
"Well, the result already tell us the answer didn't it?"
"Guys, I'm so sorry to interrupt your moment, but may we take a pic of you for our guest frame?" Lucas shyly ask, while already holding a camera
So, Max took Oscar by his waist and they pose for the photo. With Max hand holding Oscar waist and the other making a two hand sign
And with Oscar hand clinging on Max shoulder and the other hand making a first hand sign
"Thank you! We already took some photo of you both, do we have the consent to upload it on our Instagram?"
"Sure, just don't upload the previous one. We would like to keep our relationship life out of social media." Max reply
"But you can put it on your guest frame. Just not in social media" Oscar chimes in
"Thank you guys! Have a pleasant day!!"

"So, waffle troffle?" Max ask as he intertwined their hands together
"Mhm, I'm so hungry. I hate your diet"

"I'm so sick of eating it for God know how long I've been a driver"
And that earn a laugh from Max, he thinks that his fiance are so cute sometime. Well, not sometime, but every time.
As they open the door, Oscar let out a breath he doesn't realise he's holding. The restaurant was empty, well not so empty, but empty enough that it was just some old couple there.
Oscar doesn't really like a restaurant full of customer, and Max knows that. So that's why he specifically choose waffle troffle.
As they sit on the bar, a waiter came to take their order. She's wearing those typical 90's waiter outfit
"Welcome to waffle troffle! May I take your order?"
"I'll have one waffle with chocolate ice cream and a chocolate milkshake please! And you Max?"
"I'll just get a vanilla milkshake"
"Okay! Order coming right up!"
As the waiter leave, Oscar take a look at Max who's now focused on playing with their hand
"Why are you only ordering milkshake?"
"You know I still have a race in few days. I can't break the diet, you know how annoying my diet planner is when I break his plan" Max rolled his eyes which makes Oscar chuckle
"Okay okay.., so after this to the library?"
"Mhm, what would you like to read? Oh, I mean, what would you like me to read for you?" Max give him a wide teasing smile as he knows Oscar probably already so tired he will nap on the library table as Max read him a book quietly on the corner of the library.

"Here are your order! One waffle with chocolate ice cream, one chocolate milkshake, and one vanilla milkshake! Would that be all?" Before Oscar managed to say something to Max, the waiter came with their order which makes Oscar flushed even more.
"Yes that would be all, thank you so much" Max smiled to the waiter politely and stare back at Oscar with the teasing smile back on his face
"Fuck you.."
"Oh you're wrong dear, I will fuck you after this" After saying that, Oscar punch Max in the elbow
"Ow! That hurts.." He said as he rub his elbow

They look at each other one more time, before both laugh together.

After they have finished and walked to the library, Max could see how happy and tired Oscar was.
He actually wanna invite Oscar to so many traveling places he's been invited to, but he can't. Because Oscar's condition would worsened. So, such a simple date as walking around the city was more than enough for both of them.
As they enter the library, Max choose a seat for both of them while Oscar go pick out a book he likes to listen.
The library was mostly a few university student, and they even meet some fans but luckily not an aggressive one. They just ask for a picture, signature or video and then go back to their own work.
After a while, Oscar finally come back with one book on his hand and give it to Max
"The yellow wallpaper?" He ask as he open the first page to see it
"Mhm, it's short and sounds interesting.
I know you won't be able to sleep if you haven't finish a book so I pick that one" Oscar smile softly as he sit on the opposite chair from Max
"Alright then, let's start.."
As Max keep reading with his low and interesting tone, Oscar just lay his head on the table, closing his eyes but never asleep. Just resting there while listening to his fiance voice reading him the book he just read.
It was so peaceful and romantic for Oscar. He always love how Max always know what's best for both of their condition.
As the minutes turn into hours, Max finally finish the book and stand up from his chair.
Oscar wake up at the same time, trying to sober himself as Max walk to the shelf to return the book
As Max return, he stand up only to be surprised by Max's coat lingering on him.

Oscar flushed a bit at that, and Max take that sign to kiss his cheek and take his hand to start walking home.
Today date was fun and it has ended.
