Ragini sat alone in her room, the weight of Sanskar's hurtful words pressing heavily on her.
"Stop Stop it" she screamed clutching her head

The room echoed with the resonance of each syllable, cutting through her emotional defenses and reopening wounds she had been desperately trying to heal. The newfound feelings she had for Sanskar now left her questioning everything—her own worth, her right to love, and the continuous cycle of pain that seemed to haunt her.

--------------------------

Meanwhile, Sanskar lay on the floor of his cabin, his face stained with tears. The misery he felt was a tangled mess, a mixture of the pain he had caused himself and the anguish inflicted by others. The confines of the room seemed to close in on him, trapping him in the suffocating darkness. A haunting voice in his mind mocked him, a cruel reminder of losing yet another precious relationship. The weight of his actions bore down on him, leaving Sanskar lost in a sea of regret and self-loathing.

As hours passed and the morning rays dimly lit the surroundings, Sanskar found himself on the office floor, the weight of guilt pressing upon him. Collecting himself, he stood up, his legs wobbly and head heavy. It had been two days since he last slept properly and the alcohol didnt make it better.

The events of last night played in front of his eyes like a haunting reel. Filled with anger and frustration towards what happened with Rudra, Sanskar vividly remembered meeting Rudra at hospital. There were subsequent blurry moments, including drowning his frustrations in alcohol in a futile attempt to find peace. Then, he came to the office in search of an old case file, a decision that unintentionally led him to encounter Ragini and inadvertently hurt her with his venomous words.

Despite the guilt gnawing at him, Sanskar knew he had more urgent matters to attend to. His mind was consumed by a storm of conflicting emotions, torn between remorse and the pressing issues that needed resolution. With a heavy sigh, he decided to leave for home before people started filing into the office, carrying the burden of his actions with every step.

—---------

The room was dimly lit as Ragini woke up to the ringing of her phone. In her disheveled state, she found herself sitting near the edge of the bed. As she composed herself, a sense of urgency kicked in, prompting her to search for her phone. The screen displayed a missed call from Rudra's mother, and her worry intensified.

Ragini hastily returned the call, the concern evident in Rudra's mother's voice. She inquired about any information regarding Rudra's whereabouts. Ragini recounted the secretary's information about Rudra's unexpected business trip, attempting to reassure her that he was on a business venture.

With a hint of frustration coloring her voice, Rudra's mother couldn't help but express her annoyance, "That boy can really be careless. It's been three days, and he didn't even bother to call. Let him return; I'll teach him a lesson."

After assuring Rudra's mother that he was fine, Ragini ended the call.

Despite her effort to comfort the concerned mother, Ragini's own fear and anxiety grew. The question lingered in her mind like a persistent shadow: Where was Rudra?

Ragini had made up her mind; she needed to find Rudra. With that determination, she quickly freshened up, and as she made her way towards the hall, the voices of her father, Shekhar, and Sharmistha reached her ears.

"You need to speak with DP ji, Shekhar."

"And say what exactly, Sharmistha?"

"Till when are we going to skip the topic of Laksh and Swara? Someday a resolution has to be drawn. Do you even realize the kind of hate-filled words she has to endure?"

"And what about Ragini, Sharmistha? Even she had a tough time with everything, would it be easy, do you think Maa would agree"

"For a moment, can you keep her aside? I know whatever happened was wrong, but then it was in no one's control. Right now, it's Swara who is suffering the most from the events that have unfurled."

"And marriage is a solution as per you?" he questioned back.

"It's not, but do you or anyone have a solution? It's my daughter, Shekhar, who is suffering."

Ragini stood there in the corner, silently absorbing everything. She didn't offer an opinion because, at the moment, her heart was numb. The events of the previous night had left her feeling even more detached.

Her thoughts were now consumed with the need to find Rudra.

She walked towards the back door, silently leaving for their office. The determination in her stride matched the heaviness and anger in her heart.

—------------------

Laksh sat in his office, feeling frustrated. The deal with the Mathur family had been successfully signed, but mischievous activities were causing trouble at the construction site.

A man, Anirban Roy, was creating chaos by threatening workers, damaging property, and halting the work.

Arnav Mathur, not pleased with the situation,he even inquired if Laksh knew this person and they had some enmity.

Laksh chose to remain silent, but his mind was in turmoil, The mere mention of Anirban Roy sent shivers down Laksh's spine. Laksh wondered how Anirban had managed to get out of jail.

Years ago, Anirban had been a source of profound trouble in Laksh's life, and now, the reappearance was nothing short of a nightmare.

But if only Anirban was messing with the work, he reached out to Laksh a day back and threatened him, demanding money. He didn't have extra money to spare, yet Anirban was demanding payment to stay away and keep quiet.

The situation was leaving Laksh feeling trapped and helpless. Anirban's threats were taking a toll on Laksh, who was already frustrated.

—-----------------

Ragini stormed into the office, frustration evident on her face. She bombarded Rudra's secretary with questions about the business trip, demanding to know every detail. The secretary, clearly flustered, explained that she hadn't planned the itinerary and suggested that Sanskar might have the necessary information.

Ragini's irritation grew at the mention of Sanskar's name. "What kind of a trip is this that you don't know about? Are you just making excuses?" she snapped.

The secretary, feeling the pressure, stammered, "Ma'am, I seriously..."

Just then, Ragini received a call from Rudra. She answered, her voice laced with worry and annoyance. "Where have you been?, do you have any idea how worried me and your mom have been"

"I am sorry ragini, it was a last minute trip and had a bad network here so couldn't contact you and mom" he tried explaining

"A trip that your secretary has no clue about, are you joking with us"

Rudra, on the other end, tried to assure her, "Ragini, calm down. I'm fine. It was a sudden business trip, and I couldn't inform you earlier. I'm sorry if I worried you and Mom."

Ragini, still feeling unsettled, scolded him, "Do you even realize how worried we were? You can't just disappear like that. You need to be more careful, Rudra."

He tried to calm her, "I know, Ragini. I'll be more careful next time. Don't worry; I'm coming back in two days."

Despite Rudra's assurances, Ragini couldn't shake off her unease. She decided to gather her thoughts and confront Rudra about her concerns once he was back.

Ragini couldn't concentrate on work, there was a knot of anxiety in her stomach. Walking out of the office, she couldn't help but glance towards Sanskar's cabin, wondering if he had any involvement in Rudra's sudden trip.

The mystery surrounding the situation only fueled her determination to get to the bottom of it. Ragini knew that she needed answers, not just for her peace of mind but to ensure Rudra's safety. She didn't trust Sanskar.

—-------------------

Rudra sighed with relief after having spoken to Ragini and his mother. Sanskar's advice to address the concerns of his family proved right, but the delay in doing so had brought upon him a storm of their anger and worry.

As he attempted to place his phone on the hospital bed stand, a wave of pain shot through his fractured hand. Wincing, he involuntarily let out a groan. The nurse, noticing his discomfort, entered the room with a stern expression.

"You need to be more careful, Mr. Rudra," the nurse scolded, her tone reflecting a mix of concern and reproach. She adjusted the phone on the stand herself, ensuring Rudra wouldn't strain himself further.

Rudra, feeling a bit embarrassed, managed a sheepish smile and thanked the nurse for her assistance. Once she left, he found himself alone in the hospital room, left to contend not only with the physical pain but also the emotional aftermath of the events that had unfolded.

After an hour Sanskar entered the hospital room, visibly exhausted and dishevelled. Dark shadows under his eyes hinted at the sleepless night he must have endured. His usually composed demeanour was replaced by a tired and troubled expression.

Rudra, concerned for his friend, couldn't help but ask, "What happened to you?" The worry in his voice mirrored the genuine concern etched on his face.

Sanskar took a deep breath, trying to compose himself before responding. "It's nothing. Just a long night," he replied, downplaying the obvious signs of distress he was displaying.

Rudra, despite his own predicament, couldn't ignore Sanskar's condition. "You look like you haven't slept," Rudra pointed out, worried deepening in his eyes.

Sanskar, with a weary smile, dismissed it, "It's not important. What matters now is finding Anirban and resolving this mess."

His voice carried the burden of frustration and guilt. Rudra could sense the self-blame in Sanskar's tone.

"We will find him; it's not your fault," Rudra reassured, trying to alleviate some of the guilt Sanskar was carrying. However, Sanskar seemed distant, his mind preoccupied with the distressing memories.

The hospital room felt heavy with the silence that followed. Sanskar's gaze was fixed on a distant point, as if grappling with inner demons. Rudra, despite his own pain, tried to reach out to Sanskar, calling his name in an attempt to bring him back to the present.

"It was supposed to me there, but you ended up getting hurt"

"Sansk―" Rudra began, but Sanskar interrupted with a heavy sigh, "I hate this helplessness Rudra, I hate how he ruined everything and even now"
