If I was brought to this world as a boy, do you think my parents would have loved me more?
If I show up as a version of my father instead of the woman that caused me to be what I am today. Do you think I would have been loved like a gem? Maybe if I was a boy, my dad would look at me differently. praise me like a proud side, raise me with a smile and hit me a little lighter.
And maybe this time my mom would call me beautiful, no longer having to face a copy of herself. A copy of trauma and memory. Maybe in this version she would be the one to accept an embrace from me.
