MIKAELSON MANSION
Scarlett is packing up things around the house while Rebekah talks to her
Rebekah: Alaric Saltzman just tried to kill me.
Scarlett: Alaric Saltzman is supposed to be dead.
Rebekah: Well, he's not and he's a vampire thanks to mother's spell with a white oak stake that can't kill him. He's strong, Scarlett. Too strong.
Scarlett: Where is he now?
Rebekah: He's stuck at the school without a daylight ring, but as soon as night falls he'll come after us. We need to leave now.
Scarlett: I'll collect Elena and we'll be on our way
Rebekah: Forget Elena!
Scarlett: I'm not leaving her behind.
Rebekah: I'm leaving now. You can either walk out that door with me or you are on your own.
Scarlett looks at her but says nothing.
Rebekah: Fine. Trust your hybrids over your family. Let your spite be the death of you, see if I care.
She walks out of the room storming past Dean
Dean: What's her problem?
Scarlett shrugs.
GILBERT HOUSE
The doorbell rings, Stefan answers it. Scarlett is outside
Stefan: What the hell do you want
Scarlett: I know all about my mother's invulnerable little creation and that's why I'm here. I'm leaving town, just need to pick up a few road trip necessities. Spare tire, flashlight, my little wolf
Stefan: Elena's not going anywhere with---
His head is twisted to the side as his body slumps down on the floor, his neck has been snapped by Jenna
Jenna: Oh shut up.
Scarlett steps into the house as Bonnie and Jeremy walks out from the kitchen
Bonnie: Jenna, why is she here? You invited her in?
Jeremy: She's already been invited in so shut the fuck up
Bonnie sighs slowly nodding her head
Damon: Elena's car is gone.
Jenna: Why wouldn't she tell anyone where she was going
Jeremy's phone rings and he answers it
Jeremy: Ric?
He hangs up the phone
Jeremy: Alaric has her and Caroline and he's gonna kill them both unless you turn yourself over to him.
Scarlett: Now, I know you're not asking me to walk into a certain death.
Stefan groans as he stands up rubbing his neck
Stefan: I really wish we could. But unfortunately, if Alaric kills you there's a one in four chance that we die too.
Damon: Well the lone bright side, Lockwood dies.
Jeremy: Why don't we just figure out a way to put Alaric down?
Scarlett: Okay, how about Damon sneaks in and distracts Alaric, while I grabs Elena and carries her to safety? And Stefan distracts Alaric
Stefan: What's stopping me from dying?
Scarlett: Nothing.
Bonnie: I might have an idea. My mom used a desiccation spell on Mikael that immobilized him for over 15 years. If I can get it, I might be able to use it on Alaric.
Scarlett: If and might? Your words inspire such confidence.
Bonnie: I'll get it. But even with the spell, we'll need a lot of vampire muscle to take him down. Including yours.
Scarlett: Just so we're clear, the sun sets in about eight hours. If we don't succeed before then, Elena will be dead, then I'll slaughter you all, and burn this town to ashes.
MYSTIC FALLS HIGH
Scarlett and Stefan walk up to them.
Scarlett: Look at this, one big, happy family.
Bonnie pulls out a small vial with her blood.
Bonnie: Drink this. It's my blood. It bridges us all together so that when I stop Jeremy's heart, you'll have the power to stop Alaric's. You need to make a physical connection to his bloodstream; a vein, artery, something connected to his heart.
Damon drinks some blood out of the vial and hands it to Stefan.
Stefan: If one of us gets a clean shot, take it, the other two: hold him down.
Stefan takes a swig of the blood and passes it to Scarlett
Scarlett: Before we all walk through these doors, let's get on the same page, shall we? I was the one who created your vampire bloodline, therefore I am responsible for your lives and Sam's, Dean's life, Caroline's life, and of course, Abby's life, should anything go wrong.
Stefan: You're only lying to save your ass
Scarlett: Perhaps but go ahead, let the hunter kill me. You'll be dead soon after, Ripper
Damon: Little whiny ass bitch.
Stefan, Damon, and Scarlett all walk to the school, leaving Jeremy and Bonnie behind
Caroline gets out into the hallway, turns around, and realizes Elena is not with her. She continues to walk backwards when suddenly Sam grabs her from behind. He covers her mouth, so no one can hear her scream.
Sam: Shhh. It's okay, it's okay. It's me.
He turns Caroline around so that she is facing him.
Sam: Do you understand me?
Caroline: [Nods.] Thank you.
They look at each other for a moment, then Sam rushes away. Caroline stands in the hallway for a second and then rushes out. In the hallway, Alaric throws Elena into a locker and grabs her by the throat, holding her up against it.
Alaric: I should kill you. I should gut you like Brian Walters, Bill Forbes, and all the other cowards I plan on ripping apart. You're the worst offender of them all, Elena. You don't deserve to live.
Elena: So then, why am I still alive? There's obviously no humanity left in you, so what's stopping you, Alaric? If you want me dead then kill me.
Alaric's eyes start to become red and veiny.
Elena: Do it! Kill me!
Alaric's eyes become normal again and he releases Elena from his grasp. Suddenly, Dean and Damon rush up to him and grab him by his arms.
Damon: Do it now!
Alaric pushes them off of him and breaks Damon's back. He falls to the ground, temporarily dead. Dean rushes towards Alaric, but Alaric snaps his neck, temporarily killing him as well. Scarlett rushes towards Alaric and places her hand into Alaric's chest.
Alaric pulls her hand and throws her against the lockers. He flips him over and is about to stake her with the white oak stake, but Scarlett fights back. A struggle ensues where Alaric continues to try to push the stake towards her heart and she tries to push it away. Suddenly, Elena yells at them.
Elena: Stop!
Alaric looks up at Elena. Elena has a knife to her throat.
Elena: Let him go or I'll kill myself.
Scarlett(whispers): No.
Alaric: Put it down, Elena.
Elena: Why? Because you still need me alive? There's a reason why Esther used me to make you, isn't there? She didn't want you to be immortal, so she tied your life to a human one. Mine. That way you have only one life span to kill all vampires and then you'll be gone. So, when I die, you die too. That's it, it has to be!
Alaric: You're wrong.
Elena: Am I?
Elena begins to cut her throat open.
Alaric: Stop! STOP! STOP! STOP!
Scarlett seizes the chance and throws Alaric off of her and rushes towards Elena, grabs her and leaves. Alaric gets up and realizes that they're both gone.
MIKAELSON MANSION
Tyler walks into the room with a box of Klaus' stuff and stops dead in his tracks when he sees Elena.
Tyler: Elena?
Elena's eyes widens in fear as Tyler slowly approaches her with a wicked smirk on his face but a hand grabs him by his neck and throws him across the room, he stands up seeing Sam glaring at him
Sam: Go finish packing. Now.
Scarlett: Yes Tyler, go finish packing
Tyler glares at them both as he turns around and walks out of the room, Sam walks out not far behind.
Scarlett slings on a white lab coat and pulls out vials
Elena: What are you doing?
Scarlett: Taking some of your blood. Just in case of emergency, my love.
She inserts a needle into Elena's arm drawing some of her blood. She places the vial in her purse and slides off the coat hanging it up
Elena: What are you? A sexy doctor?
Scarlett smiles taking off her gloves
Elena: Put it back on. Let's play doctor.
Scarlett: Later, Love.
She presses her lips to her forehead and walks out of the room.
WOODS
Bonnie: So we use the spell on Scarlett
Bonnie, Stefan, and Matt are sitting in the woods
Bonnie: What about Damon? He's not gonna let us do this
Stefan: You're gonna stop Matt's heart then bring him back to life once Scarlett is desiccated. Here
Bonnie: Everyone's gonna hate us for doing this
Matt: We'll doing Elena favor, Bonnie. She'll get over it and move the fuck on
Stefan: Me and Tyler will make contract with Scarlett, catch her by surprise and if Damon finds out, snap his neck and keep him from stopping us.
MIKAELSON MANSION
Sam walks down the stairs stopping in his tracks when he sees Dean at the bottom, his neck snapped
Sam: Dean!
He runs down the stairs when his head is twisted to the side and neck snapped, his body falls down beside Dean's.
Scarlett walks back into the parlor heading towards Elena who smiles at her when out of nowhere, Stefan and Tyler runs into the room.
Tyler grabs Scarlett holding her arms behind her while Stefan plunges his hand into her chest grabbing her heart.
Elena: NO!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
Stefan: What we have to. You'll thank me for this, Elena.
Scarlett's heartbeat begins slowing down and she begins to desiccate. Elena stands up but stumbles clutching her hand to her chest feeling her heartbeat slowing down, her eyes rolls to the back of her head and she falls down.
Stefan and Tyler lays Scarlett's body down just as Damon rushes into the room, his eyes widens in shock
Damon: WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO?!!
Tyler: We did what we had to. We saved the town. How about a thank you?
Damon: I'LL KILL YOU!!
He lunges towards them but Stefan snaps his neck and he and Tyler runs out of the mansion leaving Elena's body laying beside Scarlett's
Dean and Sam stands up and runs into the parlor, their eyes widens in horror at the scene that lays in front of them
Dean: Oh no
Sam: Those motherfuckers!
