(y'all are 12 heard old now)
It has been about 7 years ever since you two have been friends, you and mash grew very close as the years go by and mash starts to feel a new emotion and it kept growing as time passes thought he is not familiar with it, he is planning on telling it to his pops later on, mash introduced you to his dad 2 days after you two were friends.
Mash's Father (Regro) knew something was up since mash has been coming home happy and it's not just because there is a cream puffs break and snack
And now he saw me and now knew the reason as to why mash has been looking forward to training, he is surprised but also happy for mash that he has gotten himself a friend to play and hang out with
When mash was busy eating some cream puff, he then asked
Regro: "Say, you said your name is.. traveler?"
You only nodded, in which He deadpan a bit as both mash and you have somewhat of a similar personality, but the difference is that you show a calm and stoic demeanor, showing more emotions that are barely noticeable but is still there
Regro: "ahem well then, traveler.. you may have noticed that mash has no mark...right"
You nodded once again and said
Y/n / Traveler: "I did.. I knew that mash has no magic what so ever.. but for the sake of you and mash's safely.. I promise, to keep it a secret"
Regro is happy when you said that, he knew that if word has gotten out, that a person with no magic mark is living in a forest, he is sure as hell knew that they will have trouble and risk mash's life along with him
And hearing you say that bought him at ease, it may be the first time he has ever saw you but he trust your words
Thought in the back of his mind, a child.. which is to young to travel and understand the world... Has already known about the truth when it comes to people with no mark.. which that itself, is concerning and worrisome
'i wonder.. what had happened to her, to be this aware..' he thought
And by the looks of it, you seem so mature and smart for your age, not like a child who just learned how to speak in a full sentence..
Aside from that, He is greatful that mash has found a great friend, secretly shipping them and hoped for them to soon to be lovers but he could only wait and pray
You am a very curious child, exploring around and curious about something's that you don't understand, even asking him some stuff from time to time, it melts his heart seeing your reaction to his answers to his question, even shocked that you managed to kill powerful monsters from your age and you didn't seem to noticed that
He later learned that you don't have any parents and was planning on adopting me but scratched that plan when you said that you live in a tree house and have been making money by doing commissions and taking missions from the guild
He is very surprised on how skilled you are with magic even at a young age but grew used to it as years passes
As the years passes, you kept visiting them sometimes, about 3 times a week but other times very busy due to the commissions and all of that
And at one point, we are close enough that they started to call her by her real name
'y/n' instead of 'traveler'
Y/n Pov:
And after 7 years, I visited them once again and knocked on the door
I heard foots steps coming the door opened, there Regro stood with a welcoming smile on his face
Regro: "Ah y/n, mash is still training, come on in"
I nodded and went inside, I gave him a small smile back and said
"Good afternoon, I made some cream puffs today"
I went inside, he closed the door and we both then sat down on the floor with a coffee table Infront of us
We talked for a bit and I told him that I have very important news to tell and it is regarding about a new task
You see, about a year ago I was ranked an SS class and ever since then, my job has made me spend less time with them, so every time I came to visit, they will make sure to treasure every moment possible
Regro: "so, I take it that it might take longer than usual?"
I stared at him, my stoic expression turned slightly serious, worried and with a hint of nervousness
Y/n: ".. much longer than usual.. I will be taking the decade mission tomorrow.."
His eyes widen at this, he stood up and almost fell back on his chair and with a slight movement of my finger, I used wind magic to hoist him up before he can fall to the ground with the chair
I let out a soft sigh, I knew that this will be the reaction I will be getting.. I would imagine how mash will be taking this
Lately for the past few years, mash has been showing very small emotions every time we hang out, me cheering and rooting for him, and even bringing him some creampuffs I made with magic..
Not to mention, he is.. uncharacteristically clingy.. but not too clingy.. for example.. where ever I go, he goes, he follows me around every time we hang out, hold my hand at random times, though i might be exaggerating a bit.. but knowing him? he's not much to talk about his emotions.. and rather use his actions rather than using his words
So I guess that's just his way of expressing his emotion.. and I am somewhat used to it, and find his actions somewhat very adorable so I don't mind it one bit, even return the gesture a bit, which I have the pleasure of seeing his reaction when I do so
And I am not dense to not know that he has feeling for me, but he doesn't seem to know his emotions.. much, it made me worry a bit because if he confess to me, then what about the other characters? Lemon? She is supposed to be mash's love interest and I knew me being here means that the sorry line will change and all but..
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love mash and would definitely say yes is he asked, but what about the other husbandos? It ain't going to be entertaining for author here if the reader is already taken this early!
And haven't seen or even interact with them! The goal is to join a mashes journey to the not-so-normal magic school life while also gaining harems on the way :)
(Wha- Oi! That fourth wall breaking! That's the third time this week, And it's Monday!)
Oh shush narrator, at least I am going a lot better job narrating, plus... the (some) people reading this rn wants me to be single so I can interact with their favorite character and/or potential love interests... I can't just let them down now can I?
(Tsk, is that a challenge? Fine, i'll try and narrate more, but for now... the fucking fourth wall!)
Anywho- before we got rudely interrupted by narrator who is currently fixing the fourth wall...
And taking this mission until mash turns 15 is a must, I have been aware of Regro who has been helping mash, trying to teach mash learn about the emotion that has being growing for years.. and give him some advice on the way.. like small physical contact to express his emotions better
'Rather be safe then sorry' I thought, I can't really risk mash confess to me this early when the plot hasn't even started yet, it would take long before Regro gives mash a boost to confess..
Plus, it would give me some more time training more, and I would be able to talk to my brother more easily and not worry for guild members to know that I am talking to a thin black rectangular box like a mad man, knowing full well that I don't have an older brother anymore and would worry that I miss my brother so much to the point I hallucinate myself talking to him
I almost got caught talking to my brother one time but quickly made an excuse that i need some... motivational speech
Anyway-

Regro: "Are you sure about this? I get that being part of a guild means that you have to take tasks and missions and I know you have been training and rising up the ranks but..."
I gave him a small reassuring smile and held his hand over mine, squeezing it a bit to comfort and give him reassurance
Y/n: "I know, sure the mission might take me about a decade.. but I'll come back for about.. 3 years at best"
He knew I am strong enough to take care of myself despite me being so young.. even tho Im a teen, he knows I was waiting for this moment to take atleast one decade mission
After a allot of thinking, he let out a sigh
Regro: "..alright, are you planning on staying the night here then? Knowing mash... He might not take this news lightly.."
Regro Pov:
I said, I knew mash have fallen for y/n and his feelings are slowly showing, and breaking the news to him...
But.. I have no right to say no to y/n because I know that she has been waiting for this opportunity, and I support that
A hard decision, but I understand.. and I think mash will also understand
Y/n nodded her head
Y/n: "yeah, I'll be staying here tonight.. as for mash, I honestly don't know how to break this to him.."
I nodded at this, y/n doesn't seem to see mash's feeling for her but I guess that's fine, those two have been getting along so well and I think y/n is soon to be catching feelings
(Aha.. right.. mhm.. aAhH- author wait- *Bonk*)
'Ah.. young love...' I though, looking at y/n as she looked at the door with worry
Regro: "I'm sure that mash will understand, I trust that you will come back in 3 years right?"
A mission that is supposed to take a decades to finish is a no joke, and finishing it within 3 years is nearly impossible
But when it comes to y/n? She has the very potential to be able to achieve such a thing..
She smiled at my reassuring words
Y/n: "yea, oh right- also"
She then summoned two baskets of cream puffs, a small smile plastered on her face
Y/n: "I made some of my special cream puffs, I also bought a coffee mug for you since your old one broke"
She said, showing a mug that has a writing that says 'No# 1 Best Dad Ever!'
I could see a flowery background behind her as she hands me the mug with a small smile, bringing some brightness to the point it's blinding
I felt my heart clench, placing my hand on my chest, my eyes closed at felt a tear in the corner of my eyes
'ahhh so bright! She is to prescious to be in this world!' I thought
(Hah! You should've seen her search history- *Bonk* Ack- oh shit she found me- no wait- *Bonk*.... *Dead*)
Touched by her simply gesture, I took the mug and held it like it's was made out of glass, like I was rewarded a gift from a being above
Author Pov:
"Just finished fixing the fourth wall, the narrator will not be here for a moment, so I'll be filling in for the time being :)"
As the two of you chatted and is having great time, you heard footsteps on the stairs, the small smile on your face widen a bit, nowing who it is
You then stood up and went towards the door, opening the door before he can even opened it as he probably forgot wether to push or pull again
There stood Mash, with a slight surprised look on his face upon seeing you, but then held a deadpan expression, but is happy to see you
Mash: "Oh, I was supposed to push.."
You chuckled a bit and greeted him
"Good afternoon Mash, I made some creampuffs"
Mash lit up at this, you stepped aside to let him in which he did
Once inside, he was greeted with the smell of cream puffs, sweet honey with vanilla cream fillings and a very soft looking bread made his mouth water a bit
He immediately sat on a chair, looking like he just teleported on the chair, looking at the cream puffs, to normal people, it just look like delicious cream puffs, in his eyes whoever... it looks like the cream puffs are glowing, made and given by the heavens
You sat down on your chair, the left side of the table is mash, the right side of the table is Regro, you sat in between, now back into being in a stoic expression yet your eyes held a different story
You all talked for a bit- or well, mash listens as you and regro talked, mash speaking once in a while in the conversation
Then there came the topic
Regro and you looked at eachother, giving eachother the knowing look, mash looking at you two with a confused look on his face, his mouth stuffed with a cream puff
Regro then cough, getting mash's attention
Regro: Mash... We have something to tell you, might as well embrace it
Mash nodded, still holding a stoic and monotone expression
Regro look at me as it's my turn and so I let out a sigh and decided to be straight forward a bit
Y/n: "say, do you remember about the decade mission that I talked about? The one mission that will take a decade to finish?"
Mash nodded, curious but also feeling a bit.
Nervous? Like it is something you are involved in.. something to do to you.. and it worries him
Y/n: "...I will be going to the decade mission.. and have to go tomorrow"
Those words came straight to mash's head
You.. will be going? To a mission?
In mash's head, the thought about not seeing you for a decade, he doesn't like that one bit
He will miss you, a lot.. and just waiting for a decade feels to much for the young teen
He is going to miss you, the food you make, your smile, you warmth, the hugs, your presence, your voice.. everything..
He went silent, looking at you will slight widen eyes, the sad, confused, and the reluctant emotion that his eyes held
You stared back at him, worried so i then held both of his shoulders, snapping him out of his seemingly deep thoughts
Y/n: "hey now, I know this is a ton shit to take in, but.. I will come back sooner of later, 3 years to be exact, I promise"
Mash looked at you, despite holding a still slightly and small shocked and widen eyed expression, his eyes glimmered with hope when you said that
Mash stared at you, not speaking for a moment before asking
Mash: "..do you promise?"
Mash knew you are not one to make promises you can't keep
You nodded, giving him a small reassuring smile in my stoic face
Y/n: "I promise"
You then held his hand, pulling out my pinky finger and hooked it with his
Y/n: "I make a pinky promise, ill keep it all my life, I break my pinky promise, I'll be thrown into the ice, The cold will kill the pinky that once betrayed my friend, the frost will freeze my tongue of so I'll never lie again"
You quickly said, Regro stared at you with a dumbfounded expression is in to tell me 'isn't that a bit to extreme?' and mash looked at the pinky with a small noticable smile before turning into a small dread when he heard my words
Mash Pov:
'she will get thrown into an ice if she doesn't keep her promise..?'
Sure breaking a promise is bad but, the thought of y/n being thrown in the ice for breaking the promise made me feel worry..
(Aha.. mash potato, tough in the outside, but soft and warm in the inside)
I know y/n will never break her promise, I have known her long enough, but i also know that she takes her words seriously sometimes/often...
I looked down at my hand, our pinky still hooked until y/n pulled away, the warmth fading and taken with her
I stared at my hand, thinking about her hands on mine, the warm feeling came back and I took it as it felt so nice
Im still sad about the fact that she I'll be gone for about 3 years, but it's better that waiting for a decade..
'And what kind of partner would I be if I don't support her decision?' I though
Y/n: "also, if it makes you feel better, I'll send letters if possible.. gimme a sec"
She then summoned her bag and placed her her hand on it to look for something
perked up on this, sending letters would be nice, but I am curious on what she is going to show me
She seems to have found that she is looking for and pulled it out
It's.. a bracelet?

Y/n: "here, it ain't much but we can communicate by using this"
She said, giving me the bracelet, I looked at it, taking notice of the small cream puff charm on it, a small smile was shown in my face
Mash: "I like it, thanks"
She only nodded, seemingly happy, the weird feeling in my chest is back, but I don't mind it, I kinda like it
Y/n Pov:
The days are overall peaceful, we talked for a bit I watch mash train again while I root for him, making more cream puffs and some actual food since I don't want us to eat just cream puff the whole day even if that would be a dream for mash
The night is coming in and so Regro is cooking for tonight's dinner, mash and I walked and take a peaceful stroll in the night, it's kinda like a routine of ours when it's night time, we walk around, enjoying the night, we walk to a lake and rivers, listening to the sounds around us
I looked up, the moon illuminated the place with it's soft blue glow
I looked at the path, I remember this forest like that mack of my hand, I held Mash's hand
We always hold hands because sometimes we wonder away from each other, also because we always do this when we were kids and despite that, we still hold hands
We walked around for some more, I am currently busy enjoying the view and the beautiful moon light
While mash was busy staring at our intertwined hands, and then staring at my figure seeing my face light up by the moon light made his heart race
When he first felt it, he asked his pops that it is and that he felt weird when he is around me, his pops told me him that he is experiencing a crush, or falling in love with someone
Mash half-assed understands some of them but one thing he understands is that he must make sure that the person he fell for, is safe, happy, cared, loved... Support and protect
Author Pov:
He is determined to make sure you get the treatment that you deserve, the way you treated him is nothing but happiness, care, affection and some cream puffs
You are also very good at cooking, tending to his wounds after his training, you are always there for him when he needed it
And he wants to repay you, but also taken his pops advice because he has little to no knowledge when it comes to feelings and emotions and such, 'actions speaks more than words' his pops said 'keep it slow mash, you don't want to seem too obvious with your feelings' his pops continued
He thought all that while looking at you, seeing you happy makes him happy, a small noticable smile was shown in his face, tho his eyes still held the stoic and emotionless look, it is shown that he is trying and really cares for you
We walked until we reacted the lake, making small peaceful talks often, mostly about cream puff with different flavors, training, our well being, you adventures and stories
The stories you tell him? Anime ofcourse..

Mash seems interested and is listening to what happened next, listening to your stories is so interesting and fun, your voice is like melody to him.. like a lullaby, but he knows it's rude to fall asleep which the person is talking, so he just listens
You both are currently sitting on the grass, leaning on a tree as you both look at the same view that you both never seem to get tired of
After a while, it was time to go back home since Regro must've already finished cooking dinner and decided it's best to headed back
Once we got home, you both were right on time as Regro has just finished preparing the food on the table, you helped with preparing the plate
The dinner is peaceful as always, y'all talked for a bit, eating and finishing your food, cleaning up the table, plate and other mess
And it was time to go to bed, your getting sleepy yourself and just slept on the couch, not even caring if it would hurt your back tomorrow since you dealt with worse than a sore back
Both mash and Regro has just finished with everything else and saw you sleeping on the couch
You never really stayed overnight much, but if you do, you just summon a cloud and just sleep on it, but tonight, you seem to tired to even think about summoning a cloud, which Regro understands that because some magic can take some energy and that includes summoning, plus.. you will be needing the energy tomorrow
Regro then said
Regro: "mash, can you take her to your room?"
Mash nodded, not thinking much as it's just putting her to his bed, thought where is he going to sleep? He guess that hell just sleep in the couch, it isn't much of a problem
Mash picked up the sleeping y/n bridal style, you unconsciously nuzzled your head against his chest, finding the sudden warm to be comfy as you let out a small yawn, your action is very adorable in mash's eyes and felt his heart skip a bit, his stomach has that fluttering feeling again
And Regro is looking at the scene, thinking about how cute it is and watched as mash took your sleeping form to his room
Once placed gently on his bed, mash stood up and was about to leave before feeling his wrist being held by your hand
Mash looked behind and then suddenly felt his body being pulled towards the bed
Before he could even react, he felt arms wrap around his shoulder and head, he looked up, his eyes widen slightly in shock and surprise and his mouth slightly agape but closed it as he blinked
Your face is just above his, and him looking up made your face just a few inches away, feeling your soft breath, the sound of your heart beat your warmth, it placed mash into a trance, almost putting him to sleep
He thought that he could be the one hugging so he moved and switched places, swiftly yet quiet as to not wake you up
He wrapped his strong muscular arms around your figure, pulling you close towards him, the smell of your scent is calming and alluring to him, he closed his eyes, feeling your body near his made him happy, giving him the sense of being safe in his arms with a blanket over both of your figures
Regro Pov:
I have noticed that it is taking Mash longer to go back here, making me curious and opened the door, only to be blessed with an adorable sight
(Okay- hear me out.. I cannot find the perfect one and I have to hurry up and made a sloppy work, worth it tho)
I let out sigh and placed a blanket over them properly, I looked at mash who opened his eyes and looked me
I stared at him and gave him a thumbs up, and a look of 'you got some explaining to do tomorrow' which mash only nodded and went back to sleep, pulling y/n closer as he does so
I then went out of the room, closing the door and taking out the lights in the house and went to my own room to sleep

As I slept comfortably, feeling warm and the soft and felt.. arms wrapped around me- Wtf?
I opened my eyes, the smell of cream puffs filled my nose, I used my arms and rubbed my eyes, the feeling of a muscular arm held me in place, and the sound of breathing is behind me
It took a while for my brain to process and realized on what position I am in, and the one behind me is non other than Mash
I felt my cheeks heat up bit and prevent myself from screeching as to not wake him up, biting the inside of my cheeks as I closed my eyes and placed my hands on my face, burying myself deeper into the blanket to calm myself down
I was mentally screaming in my head as I tried to calm down and focus of teleporting outta here
I stopped once I heard mash move in his sleep and pull me closer, my back against his broad chest, and his head on the back of my neck, I can feel his warm breath against the cloth, I making me blush more at the situation
I snapped out of it, mentally slapping myself in the cheek and decided that I can be bold too
We always cuddle when we were kids, but we only do that under a tree when I tell him some story, listen to music, or talk on the couch eating cream puffs
And being a teen? It's different from when we are kids, only have side hugs, holding hands and just simple physical interaction
Letting out a soft sigh, I turned towards his direction, seeing him still asleep, I smiled a bit, seeing his sleeping baby face is so adorable
A baby face with a teen body.. and I can name more main characters that are both hot and cute at the same time
I then hugged his head, this time tho, my head is on top of his

I played with his hair a bit, a small smile still on my face as I looked at his sleeping form, a peaceful morning and the first thing I see is this? It's pure Bliss

I closed my eyes, relaxing and enjoying the moment until he wake up or Regro comes in to tell us the breakfast is ready

(Just came back from.. rest, and see this? Might as well take a pic and send it to her brother, haha, he will be livid)
Anyway, mash woke up, feeling the position change and felt something soft and squishy in his face, I looked up and saw you sleeping figure, hugging his head
And the innocent mash doesn't really realized that he is a lucky bastard to be able to put his head in between the two heaven gates-
Ahem as I was saying..
He want to stay like this for a while, the neutral stoic expression on his face still there as he stared up at you, you look so peaceful sleeping
You then stirred awake, your hands then rubbed your eyes once again and let out a small yawn, covering your mouth and lading your head on the soft pillow
You blinked for a bit and looked down and saw mash staring at you, feeling a bit embarrassed that he saw you yawn, you looked away for a bit
Mash mistook it as you being surprised about the position so you guessed he find the reaction to be normal
There is a moment of silence for a bit and after a while, you looked back at him and was about to speak-
But the universe said 'not a chance bitch' and the door opened with Regro saying
Regro: "Wake up sleeping love bir.."
Me and mash looked at Regro for a bit, you blushing with more embarrassment and mash looking at him with a still stoic expression
Looking at Regro, you spoke
Y/n: "Whatever you are thinking.. it is not what it looks like.."
Not really aware that Regro already knows since he can still remember the adorable scene of mash cuddling you from behind
Also because it felt like being caught 4k like how I just witnessed my parents doing the unholy
Regro: "Well, get up you two, i made breakfast and some cream puffs"
Y/n Pov:
After hearing that, I teleported out of the bed and off mash's hold, mash pouted a bit before going to his stoic expression, I took notice of his small pout and let out a small chuckle and went towards him and patted his head
Y/n: "sorry mash, can I make if you for you with some cream puffs? My specialty ofcourse"
Mash lit up slightly at this and nodded
'hes love for cream puffs are undescribable.. just as much as i love food/potatoes and sleep.. maybe more..' I mused
I thought, looking him eat and enjoy the flood

I just came back from going one of my daily commissions and was going to visit mash and his pops, sure I would have taken the chance of living with Regro and Mash but I really have other places to check on and I can't risk other people, especially the guild members to know..
Because they are the type that tend to burst into your home unattended and without warning... And I rather not risk both Regro and especially Mash in danger
How do they know where I live? I donno, sibling instincts? Like- each and every time I go around the town doing commissions, I would see them are the most random ass times at a random place
It's not like they are stalking me- well kinda, it's because throughout the years, the older brother figures have seen me as their little sister and have sworn in their brotherhood that they will protect me from any man scums and perverts
And would literally scare them off if they ever try to make a move on me, which I act like I didn't notice sometimes since they also do this in public, even if there are people around
'Man do I feel lucky to have met them..' I thought
For a world full of rich scums that does nothing but use their money and status and crush the weak and poor with their heels, these kinds of people just goes to show humanity is still here, people who are unfortunate enough to not have meet them, have just got used to being with the wrong people.. in which I feel bad for them

Sooner of later, mash came back from training and smelled a familiar flavor of cream puffs, his expression lit up a bit and his wandering yellow stoic eyes stared at my figure
He blinked once

He realized that I look very different from the usual clothing I use to visit them
Mash: "Ah... y/n? New clothing? It suits you"
I nodded, thanking mash for the complement, and pulled out the cream puff, with vanilla with honey flavor on the top
Y/n: "yeah, I kinda forgot to change to my usual clothing.."
He nodded, walking towards us and sat down, eating a cream puff, a glowing pink and bubbly background appeared behind him, his eyes closed as he eat the cream puff with delight
'There is no one in the world who would enjoy cream puffs as much as he does' me and Regro thought
We kept talking and both Regro and mash have talking about my unique clothing and asked how or where I got it since it doesn't look cheap at all, I just told them Its a gift given to me from one of my commissions, and that I just gave it a bit more detail and fixing with a bit of adjustments here and there

Mash nodded, even ho he have the stoic expression, I can tell he is sad
Regro is not far either, he is holding back his tears rn and he said

I nodded, saying that I'll try and not to cause trouble
I then looked at Mash, who still have the unreadable expression on his face
I was about to speak but was interrupted though when a Mash should suddenly wrapped his arms around me and hugged me
My eyes widen a bit and blinked a bit, going back to being calm, I relaxed and hugged him back
Mash: "Come back as soon as you can.."
I nodded
Y/n: "I will.. I'll be back before ya know it, you do have the bracelet i gave you right?"
He nodded, still hugging me close
Y/n: "Mash, promise me to take care of father Regro here, train and eat well okay? And if you ever feel sad or feeling down and under the weather, just look at the bracelet and speak to it, it'll record your message and it will immediately be send to me"
I said, gently holding his hand that has the bracelet, Mash nodded
We stayed like that for a bit longer before letting go, thought mash being reluctant to end the gus but eventually let go
I backed up stared to walk away, saying goodbye on the way while waving my hand a bit
My back is turned and was walking away, thinking about what to do as watching me leave until they won't see my figure, and decided not to go by that exit
I stopped walking, confusing but mash and Regro
I smiled a little and teleported Infront of mash, surprising Regro for the sudden teleportation
And before either of them both can react..
I gave mash a kiss on the cheek, I light small peck on the cheek :))
Y/n: "think of this as a thank you, see you soon Mash Potato, bye bye"
I then teleported out of there, leaving a stunned Regro and a slightly widen eyed Mash
Mash felt his cheeks warm again, a small noticable blush formed on his baby cheeks and held the place that I kissed, blinking a bit
Regro was shock and was lost in words, not really nowing what to say
For mash, he felt like this is some sort of chance that you might also feel the same way, that thought alone made him smile
No, not the usual small smile, but a slightly bigger one, tho his eyes is still emotionless and stoic, there is an emotion of happiness and Hope within him, the bubbly feeling in his chest felt like it's about to burst
Regro looked at his son, who seems to be in a blissful mood, the aura around him is happiness and it almost made Regro blind at how bright it is
Mash is so going to get back at you once you both meet

You let out a soft sigh, can't believe you did that but might as well tease him a bit, even if it's brief, tho he might not know it's teasing, that is for future me to deal with
You are currently walking towards the guild, reaching it and opened the door, there you are greeted with the guild members in which you greeted them back
You walked towards the counter and Aunt Rana is there, looking at some paper before taking notice of my arrival, she smiled at me, which you ofcourse returned by giving her your usual small smile with you calm/stoic expression
Rana: "Ah if it isn't The Traveler herself! You ready for the mission?"
She asked , tho she is worried because not only would it take a decade to finish such mission, but it's also very difficult to achieve, and for normal people, it will take even centuries to finish, and it's called the decade mission because five divine visionaries have taken such mission and came back only a decade later.. and that has been the new record since
But she has trust that you will come back in one peace, and knowing you.. and your unmeasurable magic energy, you'll be able to make it and possibly break the record!
She knows she thinks it's silly because one person going a mission that is as dangerous and take longer periods of time.. it's impossible to accomplish alone...
But.. when it some to you however.. in the back of her head, she knows that you can break such a record..
She has watched as the young y/n has now grew up as a beautiful and powerful young teen who is sure to have allot of potential partners coming after her
And Rana is one of the witness who saw that the other guild members scaring or even threatening other boys away from y/n
It's fine because she knew that those boys are not really suitable for y/n
As she thinks that you need someone as strong- or atleast someone who can keep up with you
Rana knows that y/n is the type to pursue her original goals before anything else and get distracted.. getting into a relationship or having a partner.. is not one of them, not yet atleast
You nodded
Y/n: "I'm sure, I'll try and get back here as soon as possible"
Rana nodded, it's like seeing her only child moving to a different place, she is very sure that the guild, her and the guild master will miss her dearly
Rana sniffed a bit, using a handkerchief (that suddenly appeared in her hand- anime logic and all) and blew on it, folding it and use it to wipe the small tears that appeared on the corner of her eyes
Rana: "*sniff* young bby Y/n is all most grown up but is already leaving the nest"
Y/n Pov:
I sweat dropped at this, tho I let her have her moment, I turned my head and the guild members having crocodile tears, some of them looked away as they drink some more beer while some are brawling their eyes out, literally crying a water fall
I blinked at them, my heart was touched by how caring they are, a small smile found its way in my face, my eyes soften and then heard the guild master coming
The door opens with a loud *slam*
The guild master have heard the commotion and saw the guild members and Aunt Rana in a sad moment and then looked at me who is at the middle of it
The Guild Master (Arnold) let out a heavy sigh, coughing a bit before giving me the paper of the mission and with it's info
Guild Master: "... Know that when your on your lowest.. think about the people waiting for you to come home"
My breath hitched a bit when I heard the term 'home'
I do see this as my 'second' home, but I can't help but feel guilty.. it felt like I am leaving My home.. my original home..
I gave him a small smile and nodded
Y/n: "thanks gramps, I'll keep that in mind"
'whenever I feel at my lowest.. just think about the people who are waiting for you to come home' I thought, the words he said repeated in my head
I thought about my brother, Mash, Regro, Aunt Rana, Gramps, The guild members...
I smiled mentally at the thought
No matter, I can still talk to my brother.. he always give me comfort.. told me that no matter what.. even if we are apart.. as long as we have eachother.. it's Home and we are Alright
I don't think much of it, as long as I get to see my brother at the end, it's fine..
It's part of the deal afterall, and She said that as long as I gave her the entertainment until the end of the anime, she will send my brother here..
she did said that she have the power to join worlds together tho that would take a while and she has yet to decide that..
The guild master nodded, he huffed a bit and then shooed me because the guild members might want to make me stay and it would be a hassle to deal with all of these while I am here

I nodded, waving at the guild members, the guild master and aunt Rana goodbye and then leaving..
3 years.. might as well make the most out of it, becoming more stronger.. and take it as a peaceful time for myself and killing monsters without distraction.. 3 years.. before the plot starts.. 3 years, before I say goodbye to my usual normal life of grinding
