I walked into my school's dance. The first person I saw was Zoe running up to me giving me a big hug. In 30 minutes, a slow song started playing, than it happened, he was walking over to ask me to dance. Then a girl named Katie walked in front of him and asked him to dance with her. At first I thought he asked her out, but then Zoe told me what happened. For the whole dance, a slow song never played again. After the dance, he invited me to go to Applebee's with him. I had a great time! Then, he asked for my number. Almost everyday we would text each other and talk for hours.
I was so happy! For the past week, I was hoping that Chris would ask me out.
