the truth was that he already knew everything about matilda's family. that she was born when her parents were very young and their relationship did not last. that as a little girl she went on tours with her parents. that she was a favorite baby of all directioners, harries and swifties.
however, he also learned things he didn't want to know. about the whole world hating on a defenseless teenager. about gossips about matilda and her relationships and comparing to her mother who "has too many boyfriends to give her daughter a good example" or her father who is a "womanizer". about calling her a nepotism baby who doesn't use her platform for spreading important messages.
"oh brother i can fight. i will fight" the youngest of the triplets replied confidently and without hesitation.
