I walk into my husbands office, stopping at the reception desk. Talking to the receptionist but she gave me a hard time for no reason. I'm here to see my husband. I am already annoyed by her fake smile and annoying voice. I roll my eyes as she repeats the same thing for the 5th time, and i repeat once again that im his wife. Her eyes shift behind me as her face takes on more of a serious look. She straightens herself out, fixes her lipstick before getting up from her desk, and walks behind me. The look on my face most likely gives off the way I'm feeling, and everyone can clearly tell she's the reason why. The familiar scent of musk, spices, and an orangey scent fills my senses as a hand is slipped around my waist and a kiss placed on my cheek. “Who made you upset’ he asked, whispering into my ears. “No one of importance, ” I say , emphasizing the statement for Stacy the bitchy receptionist to hear. Handing him his briefcase, which is the whole reason i was there, i   quickly say bye before walking out the office with a smug look on my face. Not missing the glares shot by stacy as i leave.
