Yoora's breath hitched in her throat as she stared at the text from Mark. Her brain raced with thoughts in that exact moment, phone falling onto her face and directly hitting her lip.
"Ah...fuck!" She hissed, rubbed the injured spot quickly, praying to the lords above that it wouldn't leave a mark. Her brain quickly rewired and realised she had left him on seen.
Her shaky hands picked up the phone again, rechecking the grey bubble text to make sure she had seen it right. And she did. It was definitely from Mark.

Yoora face planted back onto her bed, muffling a scream into her pillow wondering if Mark had scrolled up so far in the chat to see her clowning him and be in her feels about how much she had missed him.
"He's probably too busy for that, don't be delusional" she scolded herself, but then again Mark Lee, who she had lost contact with for 12 years had seen her DM out of the blue and decided to text back. She had every right to be delusional for this one instance.
Her phone's ringtone resounded around the room and she looked at the screen to see Eunhye calling her.
"Shit!" She cursed, remembering the girl had agreed to pick her up on the way to both of their morning shifts at the café. She quickly answered the call and pressed her phone to her ear.
"Hey girl" She said into the phone
"Hey, I'm downstairs at the car park" She said and Yoora agreed to meet her in a few minutes, beginning to rush around her room to grab her belongings quickly
"I'm having a fashion crisis!" Lexi groaned from the spare room that was once a study space for Yoora that had now been turning into her bedroom
"How much clothes did you pack?" She asked with a sigh, grabbing her keys, patting Freddie before walking down the hallway, eyes peaking into Lexi's room to see throwing clothes out of her suitcases
"I'm a fashion stylist babe, I can't walk around Seoul looking like a loser, can I?" She asked and Yoora rolled her eyes this time
"Alright, see you later. Don't forget to feed Freddie!" Yoora shouted, quickly letting herself out of her apartment to meet Eunhye
She rode the elevator down, smile still not leaving her face at the previous contact she had initiated with Mark Lee of all people. But the fact that he was an idol soon subsided. She had gotten back in contact with Mark Lee, her old friend, and she was lucky enough for that.
