Munira's POV
We arrived at the restaurant in this expensive car.I was the first to walk in.Angelo was making a call .
I got stared from people.Mainly because of my headscarf.It was a representation of me being Muslim.
Angelo soon joined me, and the mumurs and looks changed.I was about to relax when suddenly, someone called me a terrorist.
I have been harrassed many times.I couldn't help but feel emotional.Angelo noticed and got up angrily.Everybody froze.Angelo had this strong Aura.
Angelo: out!
Just like that the people dashed out, leaving us alone.
Munira:that wasn't necessary.
Angelo:no,I will not allow anybody to harass you.
Munira:how did you do that?
Angelo:one of the many perks of being the king of the New York mafia.
Munira: thank you.
Angelo:no need, anything for my queen.Lets order.
It was funny when the waiter came in to find an empty restaurant.He came to us.He kept stuttering.Angelo was pretty scary.We ate in peace.
For the first time in a while,I could eat at a restaurant without people judging my religion.
Angelo and I talked abit.we got to know each other better,he wasn't that bad.but I missed my parents.As if reading my thoughts,he spoke.
Angelo:I know you miss them,we will go and see them tomorrow.
Munira: thank you.
I kissed him on the cheek.He smiled.
Angelo: let's go watch a movie at the cinema.
Munira:I have never been to one.
Angelo:am glad am your first.
We exited the restaurant and went to the cinema.we got the same stares.Angelo pulled out his gun and the people quickly scattered.
In the cinema,we had a whole empty role to ourselves as nobody wanted to be close to us.
I never knew Angelo was this popular.I hope he didn't harm innocent people.I couldn't help but snuggled into his arms.he tensed up at my action.
I looked up to see him staring at me.
Munira: what's wrong?
Angelo:I don't remember the last time I snuggled with some body.
Munira:how does it feel?
Angelo:nice.
We stayed like that,in each other's embrace,stuck in a trance.He leaned in and kissed me,I kissed him back but pulled away.
Angelo,:am sorry
Munira: it's not like that,we Muslim don't really do PDA
Angelo: oh ok.
He signed a breath of relief .Then we heard police sirens.
Angelo:,come on .
He dragged me to the back.We snuck out to a motorcycle.
Angelo: take the helmet .
Munira:whose motorcycle is this?
Angelo: mine
Munira: , how,what..
Angelo:a gangster roaming in public, what do you expect.One fool is bound to call the police.
Munira:you are not going to hurt the fool , are you?
Angelo: no, it's fun being chased by the police , that is why we are here still talking as the police are closing in.
Munira: let's go!
We got on the motor cycle.
Angelo:hold on tight my queen .
He sped off as the police chased us.It was so nice being on the motor cycle .I still held on for dear life .
