This is part of a series of FNAF One-Shots I've been working on. Some of them get a little long, so I decided to give them their own mini-books :)

This story is partially a suggestion I really wanted to work with, a Count the Ways!Funtime Freddy x Reader; plus a request for a Yandere!CTW!Funtime Freddy x Brokenhearted!Reader.

Suggested by @StrawberriWhipp on Quotev ; Requested by @Moltenheart2 on Quotev )

I also kind of wanted to do this as a partial rant, so aspects of my own life will be thrown in here 😆😅 I'll explain those in a minute.

As always, this is written from a (Y/n)-central perspective, so it's kept fairly neutral - so anyone can read! :)

General SiMAS Information:

(Y/n) in this story is written to have vocal cord dysfunction. It's a fairly prominent (and annoying) part of my life, so I decided to add it. I'll leave some links with more details on them below, but for anyone who wants a quick summary, it basically makes talking and breathing... interesting. Vocal Cord Dysfunction (VCD) is where your vocal cords do pretty much the exact opposite of what they're supposed to, so they close when they're supposed to open, and open when they're supposed to close. To give a couple of examples from my own experiences of what this is like, you have trouble breathing, and talking is way more of a chore than it needs to be. I have so much of a struggle with talking that I literally choke when I try because of my vocal cords, and I'm only audible if I'm excited about something. Otherwise, you will never hear me when I talk. It's actually pretty painful, and I can't talk for more than an hour consistently or else my throat will give up on life itself, haha ^^; ...

(Y/n) in this story is written to be socially awkward and anxious. Another problem I have is anxiety; especially in social situations. It actually gets as bad as devolving into agoraphobic episodes sometimes, but I have means of trying to keep control over it. I wrote (Y/n) to share in some of these, though (Y/n) is a lot more blunt and confident than I could ever be, hahaha ^^; . As a warning, I'll be adding some descriptive scenes of what anxiety attacks look like for me; they're not the same for everyone, but these are based off my own experiences. I also might add descriptions of (Y/n) taking medication to try to mitigate these episodes based off my own experiences as well.

HOWEVER, I MUST ADD AS A DISCLAIMER AND GENERAL WARNING - DO *N O T* TAKE MEDICATION CARELESSLY. ADDICTION AND OVERDOSE IS NO JOKE AND SHOULD NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BE TAKEN LIGHTLY. P L E A S E BE RESPONSIBLE WITH YOUR MEDICATION/S AND SEEK HELP IF YOU'RE ADDICTED TO A SUBSTANCE.

I PROMISE YOU'RE WORTH SO MUCH MORE!

*** I have a drug tolerance/resistance, so taking enough of a given medication makes me practically unresponsive to it. Medications that I don't take frequently (ones that are only 'take as needed'), I don't develop as much of a resistance to. However, medications that I have to take often (especially daily medications) will quickly stop working on me - typically after only a few doses.

I have a daily medication to manage my anxiety on a general, base level, but also an 'as needed' emergency medication that I take only when I really need it. This makes it easier to manage, while giving me an alternative that will last much longer than my daily medication will. I do still get used to my emergency medication if I take it too much too soon, but as long as I monitor my intake and work through triggering scenarios through therapy, I can better handle my anxiety and increase the longevity of my medication. ***

General (Y/n) Information:

(Y/n) in this story is written to have an intense case of anthropomorphism. (Y/n) has a slightly more exaggerated version than most people. As a result, they see inanimate objects as just as real - or sometimes more real - than most people they come in contact with. They also tend to give them an odd sort of omnipresence and omniscience that makes it feel as if they're following (Y/n) and can hear their thoughts, and judge everything. It doesn't present itself as an issue in the beginning of the story, but gradually begins to show as more toxic and judgmental as the story goes on. Count the Ways!Funtime Freddy doesn't really help this - in fact, he feeds into it to garner control over (Y/n). If this kind of manipulation makes you uncomfortable, please don't force yourself to read.

(Y/n) in this story is written to have post-traumatic amnesia and spectrophobia. The (Y/n) I write with always has these issues, but it's worth mentioning here more specifically. (Y/n) has a more intense version of post-traumatic amnesia. I'll add a couple links for more information on what this is like for those afflicted, and their families. Typically, this is a type of amnesia that occurs as a result of a brain trauma. The (Y/n) I write with has a more sensitive and chronic version of this, in that any type of trauma - physical or psychological, benign or severe - can cause a "reset" in (Y/n)'s memories at any given point in their lifetime - (Y/n) has already experienced this numerous times by the time they reach adulthood.

Link Two - www.brainline.org/article/post-traumatic-amnesia-after-brain-injury

As a result of this condition, (Y/n) has developed spectrophobia, in which they are afraid of their own reflection. Because of the PTA, (Y/n)'s mind becomes scattered; even after recovering from the initial effects, (Y/n) never fully recovers their memories or adopted personality/ies from before the "reset". (Y/n)'s sense of time is heavily distorted; whenever they "reset", their reflection is never someone they recognize, as (Y/n) grows and ages, and each new "version" of (Y/n) after each "reset" develops their own unique identity. They do develop an avoidance tendency (something else I know all too well about), though, so they'll do anything and everything they can to avoid addressing this issue or themselves as a whole. Of course, they can't always avoid it, but again, they take their own particular measures to mitigate panic episodes. Keeping these episodes to a minimum also improves (Y/n)'s chances of avoiding another PTA "reset".

DISCLAIMERS -

*** TRAUMA AND MENTAL ILLNESS ARE NOT SUBJECTS TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY. I UNDERSTAND AS ONE WHO SUFFERS FROM THESE THAT MAKING LIGHT OF THEM IS A PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE COPING MECHANISM, BUT THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ACCEPTING YOUR ISSUES AND MAKING THEM EASIER FOR OTHERS TO ADDRESS, AND USING THEM AS WEAPONS AGAINST OTHERS. DO *N O T* WEAPONIZE YOUR OR OTHER PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS, AND DO NOT MOCK OR BULLY OTHERS WHO ARE SUFFERING. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT ANYONE IS GOING THROUGH, AND IT IS NEVER OKAY TO TREAT THEM AS IF THEIR ISSUES ARE "NO BIG DEAL" REGARDLESS OF HOW THEY APPEAR TO YOU. EVERYONE'S STRUGGLES ARE DIFFERENT; THIS DOES NOT MAKE THEM ANY MORE OR LESS IMPORTANT, AND MUST ALWAYS BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. JOKES ARE ONLY OKAY IF THE PERSON YOU ARE "JOKING" WITH SAYS THEY ARE. DO NOT JUST ASSUME SOMETHING IS OKAY -- ALWAYS CHECK WITH THEM TO MAKE SURE THEY'RE OKAY WITH IT.

*** I'M WRITING FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCES IN SOME PLACES; IF YOU SHARE ANY OF THE ISSUES WARNED ABOUT IN THE GENERAL INFORMATION SECTIONS, DO NOT FEEL THE NEED TO FORCE YOURSELF TO READ.

*** THERE ARE MENTIONS/DESCRIPTIONS OF TRAUMA, MENTAL ILLNESSES - ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, POST-TRAUMATIC AMNESIA, SPECTROPHOBIA, AND DYSPHORIA - MEDICATION USE/ABUSE, MANIPULATION, ABUSE, SELF-ISOLATION, SOCIAL AWKWARDNESS, VIOLENCE AND AGGRESSION, VIOLENT THOUGHTS, AND MURDER. IF ANY OF THESE THINGS MAKE YOU UNCOMFORTABLE OR MAY TRIGGER YOU, DO NOT FORCE YOURSELF TO READ. IF AT ANY POINT YOU ARE TOO UNCOMFORTABLE, FEEL FREE TO EITHER SKIP SECTIONS OR DROP THE BOOK ALTOGETHER.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF FIRST!

I will not make this story heavy with these themes, so it won't be difficult to read, but I understand that some people are easily triggered by certain aspects that will be (even briefly or subtly) mentioned here. So I want everyone to be sure they're okay with proceeding before they dive into this.

Remember, you can get through anything so long as you have the will to try - but you don't have to push yourself too hard, too fast, or by yourself. Take things at your own pace and know your limits, and don't be afraid to ask for help. You can always come back when you're ready :)

That being said!

Take your meds, drink your water, eat something, and get at least a handful of hours of sleep tonight!

I love you all, and I wish you all the best!
