Yashika's pov
Today I mark two months of being pregnant.
I must say I gained some weight.
I look chubbier than before but I am loving myself.
My mother in law always hypes me up and sometimes my husband too.
I started working again on my laptop.
I go on walks too and sometimes Me And Adhvik go outside for eating street food.
Because I love eating street food but he strictly says no and then I convince him with my puppy eyes.
I love doing all of this.
I love his and now mine family.
Today he is at home as we are going for our first ultrasound.
I am so excited.
Doctor told me that we will hear heartbeat of the baby today.
We both sat in car after breakfast and pooja.
And soon we reached hospital.
I was called to the ward.
He was there with me too.
I changed into the hospital clothes and lie down on the hospital bed.
The nurse applied some gel kind of thing on my belly.
And doctor started the further process.
Soon we both were shocked to see the baby on the monitor.
He came closer and I hold his hand.
And the moment arrived.
We heard our baby's heartbeat.
That was everything.
I holded his hand more tightly and he responded by keeping his another hand on our hands.
I had tears in my eyes.
My baby's heartbeat.
This is my whole world.
God my child is going to be here in my hands in next 7 months.
I am going to be a mother.
A parent.
After doctor's appointment we hugged each other very tightly.
"It's happening" He said and he looked happy.
"Hmm" my tone was overwhelming.
I was not able to digest that I am going to be a mother and I was afraid that I might be a bad one.
"It's ok I know you will be a good mother" He said with a smile.
He read my mind or what.
But honestly I wanted a reassurance that I will be a good mother And I think I got it.
I smiled at him and said "You too!"
"But I am not going to be a mother.." He said teasing me.
I laughed and said "Idiot. You'll be a good father"
"I am going to be a cool father not an angry bird like you" He said.
"Haww liar"
I am not an angry bird.
But I like this cute little nok-jhok between us.
