When we arrived at school Edward opened my door and helped me out the car. I can see Bella getting out of her truck, turning to stare at us Edward put his arm around my waist. When I looked around I notice everyone was staring at me and Edward. I just turn and smile at Edward. On the way to school Edward explained more about vampires, how you can be a vampire, where he from, vampires powers. And what gifts the family has. Edward can't read Bella's mind or mine, and Alice has trouble seeing my future and he thinks it's because I'm a werewolf. As we were walking past Bella and went in front of us.
"I know mostly everything and you need to explain it now." Bella said firmly and with a glare.
"We will explain everything tonight, feel free to bring Jake. I'll pick Athena up at 5 and you too Bella if Jake cannot come" Edward said calmly and with a half smile.
Bella asked if I can help clean her truck so we was outside until Bella's truck shook violently. I look up to see Edward on top the truck
"Could you at least act human. We have neighbors" Bella said. I giggled as Edward came down kissing me on my forehead.
"Hello Athena" Edward said.
"Hi Edward" I said with a smile.
"I are taking you to our place tonight. I just wanted to stop by and see if Jacob would be coming too" Edward asked looking at Bella.
"He is, he will be here soon" she said with a small frown
"What's wrong Bella?" I asked worried
"What if they don't like me" Bella said and Edward laugh
"you are worried that they won't approve of you not that you're in a house full of vampires" Edward said. Edward walked over and took the dent out of Bella truck.
"Thanks" she said lowly
When suddenly I saw Edward tense. I looked at his face with a confused look.
" I have to go" Edward said as he kisses me I look behind him seeing Billy car. I understand now seeing Jake and Billy's car.
"Why?" Bella asks confused
"Complications" Edward mumbled to her giving me a hug goodbye
I walked over to Billy and Jacob but Billy looked concerned
"Hey Jake" I said giving him a light hug.
"Hey Athena, Bella" Jake said with a smile going and giving Bella a deep hug
"Hi Billy" I said.
"Jacob, Bella go in the house, I'm going to talk to Athena for a moment" Billy said
"Ok dad" Jacob said holding Bella hand on the way inside. Then Billy turn to me
"I told you all the stories about them. And yet you still are around him. One day you will unfortunately know why you and then won't mix well together " Billy said with a sad voice
"Why because I'm a werewolf" I said looking at him
"What! You triggered it?" He asked coming closer and grabbing my hand.
"Last night, I was attacked. The Cullens told me as much about it as they could. They said they will help me" I said with a small smile.
"Come to the rez tonight after the cullens. Vampires can't help a wolf, only another wolf can." Billy said smiling.
"Ok Billy, I will" I said with a smile
Once I was inside I called Edward
"Hey Edward, I won't need a ride today. I'll drive myself. I need to talk to Billy tonight"
" are you sure? The rez is not always safe" he said concerned
"Yes, Billy said he will help me with my wolf too" I said with a small chuckle
"I will always help you" Edward said softly
"I know, but Billy knows more than us about wolfs and how to deal with them" I said
"Ok Athena, I'll see you soon" he said
"Goodbye Edward, see you later" I said hanging up.
"Your what?!?!" I turn quickly and see Bella standing there shocked. And Jake next to her wide eyed.
"Surprise" I said lowly
"You better not try to talk your way out of this" Bella said angrily.
"Come sit Bella, I'll tell you everything about this part, the rest is up to the Cullens" I said softy
After explaining my part to Bella, and in turn Jake who didn't do as much as move a muscle in the doorframe.
I pulled up to the Cullens house, looking up at the amazing design.
"Oh my god" I heard Bella gasp closing her truck door.
"Yeah I know, it's amazing" I said with a small laugh
"Athena, you made it" I turn and see Edward walking towards me with a smile.
"Of course" I said, walking into his arms.
"I knew it" I faintly heard Bella say
"Come in, everyone is waiting" Edward said leading us in.
"This is the only place where we don't need to hide ourselves" Edward said.
"So you didn't expect this right?" Edward said to Bella
"What do you mean?"Bella said
"Well you know us living in a house and not in coffins and stuff," Edward said
"Well not the moats" Bella said I started to laugh as Jake smirked.
We were walking upstairs when we heard laughing and talking. We all walk into kitchen, I greeted everyone giving a smile to Alice and Rosalie.
"Bella,Jake, Athena come in, We're making Italian for you" Esme said gently.
"Bella,Jake. This is Esme. Our mother for all intents and purposes."
"Bonjourno" Bella said
"Moto Bene." Esme said
"It's given us a reason to use the kitchen for the first time" Carlisle said.
"I hope you're hungry" Carlisle said
"We are. I made sure they didn't eat anything" I said with a grin
Alice walked up and hugged me then Bella. Making Jake tense.
" Oh don't worry, Bella and I are going to be great friends like how me and Athena are" Alice said smiling at Bella than Jake
Once we sat and ate, which it was amazing. We all ended up in the living room.
"I already told Bella and Jake about my werewolf issue" I said leaning into Edward's arms.
"Then let's get into it" Carlisle said with a smile.
"I know your cold ones, vampires and that Jake and his family are shifters" Bella said softly
"We consider our selfs vegetarians...( Jake scoffs lightly) we don't feed on humans, rather we feed on animals" Carlisle said. I see Bella's shoulders relax
"Sun doesn't burn us, it makes us sparkle. Garlic, bats, and mirrors are a myth" Esme added
After getting through the vampire show and tell. Jake and Bella left and I found myself in the backyard with Edward. I was laying down with my head on his lap.
"What are we?" I asked softly
"Mates" Edward said with a smile
"What all does mates mean?" I ask looking up into his eyes
"It means we are perfect together, we were created to find each other and we are strong together. Our strengths combine and our weaknesses are less lethal" he said running his fingers over my head and hair.
"How will it work if I don't stop aging?" I ask closing my eyes, feeling the sun break through and hit my skin.
"You can age and grow or you can change into a vampire. But we would have to research what that would mean for your wolf" Edward said gently
"I can't just age and die, what about you?" I asked opening my eyes to see his skin sparkling. I reach up and touch his face, he closes his eyes and leans into my touch.
"I would live with you, then die with you" he said clearly and without remorse.
"You cannot, I would never do that to you" I said firmly. "Why would you let that be an option" I asked
"I would live for you and I would die for you" he said kissing my hand.
"I love you" I said softly
"I love you" Edward said with a bright smile leaning down to kiss my lips.
"I talked to you dad" Edward said watching my reaction
"About what?" I asked
"If I could date you, and court you" Edward said watching me
"And he agreed?" I asked. Edward nodded. "Good" I said leaning up and moving to sit in his lap, my body towards him. He moved his arms to wrap around my waist.
"I have to go Edward" I said leaning into his chest
"I know" he mumbled, leaning his head into my neck Kissing it slowly. My breath gets caught in my throat.
"Your cheating" I said softly and out of breath
"Am I" Edward said with a laugh.
"Yes" I said moving myself to kiss his lips and neck, I lightly bit his lips and I hear him groan, electricity flows between us.
I pull back and kiss his lips one last time.
"I need to go" I said softly.
Edward picked me up and ran me to my car, opening my door for me.
"Can I see you tonight?" Edward asked
"Of course" I said peaking his lips and closing my door.
I start the drive to the rez, I pull in seeing Billy.
Here goes nothing.
