Ilay's pov
I couldn't believe what I heard when Jaeui said that I and Taeui have to be together for his heat shock to not kick in and I was happy, happy at the thought that now even if Taeui wanted he couldn't stay away from me
We had now gone to Taeui's home as staying together in the packhouse was weird to Taeui I just agreed not speaking to him after Jaeui had left us in the packhouse
We went to Taeui's home had an awkward lunch where both of us didn't speak, but I liked it. Just us spending time together then we watched some movie in Netflix till it was night where we had dinner with Jaeui who had brought home dinner. Dinner was not so awkward as Jaeui and Taeui bickered about silly things and I just laughed a couple of times now it was time to sleep just the thought of me being alone in the room with Taeui made my wolf happy and me extremely delighted.
Even when we had slept together Taeui was always unconscious and I was just tending to him, feeling scared that I would lose him and that was not a good feeling for sure
Taeui would sleep in his bed and I would sleep in the air mattress that he had bought and I agreed to it
Cause I knew Taeui still didn't accept me as his mate and me rushing things would only make him shut me away
So now the light was off and I was scrolling through my phone as I couldn't sleep at all, because my heart was beating so fast ,just the thought that Taeui was sleeping in bed made me feel a fire within myself start and the phermones in his room didn't help at all till I was shocked by the sudden voice
" Ilay?" Taeui called out to me the room was so silent that his voice was clear
"Hmm"i just hummed not knowing what to answer
"I can't fall asleep , I think it is because you are to far away" he continued
I couldn't believe what I heard I just sat up and looked at Taeui who was now fumbling with his hands nervously, so I asked him the next question
"Do you me to sleep with you ?" Taeui looked shocked to this question and then I thought I asked it the wrong way
"No I meant do you want us to sleep together! I didn't mean it in that way"
I said as I rubbed my neck with my hand awkwardly
He chuckled as I could see him blush at me he nodded his head I moved to his bed in a flash
It was going to be awkward but it was nice to talk to Taeui even if it was just two sentences
"Good night" he whispered as he turned his face in the opposite side
I could see him blush cause when he blushed his ears would become more red than his cheeks I just looked at his direction till I felt my eyes droop and I slept

"Taeui's pov "
It was morning and the first thing I smelt was Ilay as I opened my eyes it's been few days since Ilay and I stayed together and ,I was now cuddling with Ilay I think this happened when we slept but being so close to him felt so good and now I slowly pulled my face away to look at him
Ilay looked so peaceful when he slept he always had a straight face and I have never seen him smile, I'm sure he chuckled once or twice but I have never seen his wide smile, you know the smile we have when we are genuinely happy or the simple we have when we read the book with a happy ending , but I guess I didn't give him many reasons to smile as whenever we had seen each other we always fought
Now I was back to staring his face it was pale white he had a high nose, a sharp jawline and he looked pretty hot his lips looked plump
"Are you liking what your seeing? "Ilay spoke he didn't open his eyes which made me shocked
"yeanahhh" was what I spoke I internally face palmed
Ilay now opened his eyes and was looking at me as he chuckled , he looked so gorgeous and beautiful and I was happy that I was the one who made him smile
"Was that a yeah or a nah?" he asked still smiling
I got up now slowly breaking our eye contact
"Let's get going Jaeui said us to meet him at 11" I blurted out feeling embarrassed
"It's still 9 "he said groaning
"We should have breakfast, don't be lazy" I stated my hands now resting on my waist
"Okay , you use the bathroom first" he said still not lifting his head
I just shrugged and went to the bathroom to take a much needed shower
Ilay shocked the hell out of me and I also had to calm myself down after seeing my mate who looked so beautiful, I didn't know I could feel like this for him and this mate bond made it harder not to stare at Ilay
Nowadays Ilay has constantly caught me staring at him and I can't control it once he is in my line of vision, my eyes follow him wherever he goes and I guess he is pretty used it as he just makes jokes out of it and then I get embarrassed it's like a cycle
But I was worried as we never had any real conversation, nothing about us being mates and what to do of it. I had decided to talk about to him so as we were having breakfast I started
"So,does your hand still hurt? " I question
"No.... not so much I'll be removing my bandages today thanks to our werewolf blood it heals fast" he said having a his toast
"So have you decided what we should do now?" I was feeling so nervous about asking this but I knew this topic was inevitable
"Hmm....
Whatever you feel like" he said not looking at me he spoke like he doesn't want to decide or share the burden with me
"Why are you talking like this doesn't concern you? We are mates and I want to know your opinion " I retort now angrily
He just looked at me displeased "The last time I tried to talk to you, you told that you regretted me being your mate what else do you want me to say ,Taeui? " he said now getting up from his seat and heading towards the sink
"I know I acted like that and I'm sorry I should have not screamed at you like that" I said as I rested my face in my hands
Ilay didn't say anything he just took a deep breath loudly and I didn't lift my head, slowly he walked towards me and now he lifted my face with his hands so I could look at him
"I'm so happy that you are my mate, I know it's difficult for you Taeui but I'll wait, I'll wait till you can accept me fully" Ilay explained and I could feel his sincerity
" Just give me some time, I need time to adjust " I said slowly rubbing my face in his hands like a cat I loved how his hands felt on my face I wanted him to touch me more.
"Ahem......"Kyle said as he had come to the kitchen I immediately pulled my face away and Ilay stood there with an annoyed look at Kyle
"You should know other people also live in this house" Kyle said with a smirk
"Don't think we can't hear you at night" Ilay retorted which made Kyle blush as now his face was red
"Don't tease him.. " UC said as he put his hand in Kyle's waist, would I and Ilay also be like that where I wouldn't feel weird having skinship in front of others
"He did the same" I said now supporting Ilay
"okay " Kyle said and I laughed at his reaction
He was cute
"Then Ilay when will go back to your pack?" UC questioned
"Why, can't he stay here " I spoke if Ilay would leave then I would be alone and now I don't like being away from Ilay
"He is the alpha of his pack, he can't stay here forever " UC said
"My beta is doing a great job I can stay for a few more days" Ilay said
"Your beta had called me yesterday and told she was exhausted and asked me to send you back, you should listen to Rita" Kyle said now sitting in the table
"If I'm going then I'm taking Taeui with me" he announced
He didn't ask me before but if he did I would probably go
I looked shocked at him
"You want to go right?" Ilay asked uncertainity in his eyes
"Of course , I would love to go with you "I said now standing next to ilay
"But, can you not tell your pack I'm your mate . Cause I can't bear the stares" I said now looking expectantly
"Okay, but you should stay with me at night" he retorted and he was a great business man I say
"Ahem.... People here" Kyle said which made me chuckle and embarrassed as I noded to Ilay
I can't be I'm going to Ilay's pack Hope they all don't hate me....
