Chapter 3
Katherine's P.O.V
I felt my body being stirred and a voice whispering in my ear. I flutter my eyes open to see the man of my dreams, the guy I've been in love with for 2 years now. I smiled at my beautiful sight.
"Why, Zayn? Why must you wake up?" I asked in my grumpy voice as I sat up to lay my head on his shoulders.
He chuckled and patted my head, "Someone's waiting for you outside." He said pointing at the slightly opened door.
My face lit up and didn't think twice to run outside and see who it was. Once I was out of my room, I saw Danielle, sat far away from Liam. And Liam who had his both hands covering his face. When Danielle saw me her face lit up and ran towards me for a hug, I hugged her back.
"Oh, I've missed you so much Kath!" She whispered in my ear. I can hear sadness in her voice. I looked around the family room and everyone looked devastated. Why?
"I missed you too, Dani. So much!" I said pulling away from the hug and cup her face. "Is everything alright?" I asked looking deeply in her eyes.
She smiled weakly and we both walked inside the dining room, "everything's alright, Kath." She said trying her hardest to smile as she wipes the tears away.
"I'm not stupid, Dani. What's going on?" I asked worriedly and placed my hand on top hers as more tears stream down her face. I ran over to her side and pulled her in my arms. "Whatever it is, it's going to be okay." I said stroking her hair, trying to calm her down as tears fill my eyes too. I know what's going on, I thought.
"I'm so sorry, Kath. Please forgive me." She sobbed, pulling away from me and giving me a kiss on my forehead before standing up. I held her hand tightly, telling her that I'm not letting her go as tears stream down my face.
"Please, No. Dani, please don't leave me. Please." I whispered but good enough for her to hear. She kissed my hand and tapped it a few times before finally letting go and leaving the flat. As she left, I fell down on my knees and cried. I felt two strong arms wrap around me, I looked up to see Zayn. He gave me a small smile before pulling me close to his body to let me cry on his chest, and I did. I cried and cried until I heard a loud bang.
"LIAM!" Niall shouted. I pulled away and looked to see Liam leaned against the wall near to the dent he cause by punching. Blood stains on the wall and floor. I quickly stood up and ran towards my brother.
"Liam..." I whispered pulling him for a hug as he cried in my chest. "It's going to be okay, Lili. It's going to be okay." I whispered, wiping the tears that were falling on my face as I stroked his hair with my free hand. "It's going to be okay." I repeated when he calmed down a little bit.
He looked up at me, "Please, don't leave me." He whispered.
I felt another tear fall down my cheek before nodding, he hugged for the last time before standing up. I helped him up and walked inside the dining table, I set him down on one of the chairs. I took his bloody and broken hand, I sighed and looked at Louis.
"Would you please get the first-aid kit? It's in the bathroom cabinet." I said. He nodded and walked to bathroom.
"Your an idiot." I said to Liam. Looking at his hand then at him.
He just chuckled at me. Louis came back with the kit and placed it on the table. I placed Liam's hand next to the kit and opened it to get a cotton ball and poured alcohol on it. The boys sat down on the vacant chairs around the table and watched as I cleaned up Liam's hand, no one bothered to speak. I slightly tapped the cotton ball on Liam's wound causing him to wince in pain.
"That stings." He said, twitching a little bit as I tapped the cotton ball more on his wound.
"Man up." was the only thing I said before pressing the cotton ball on it making him wince more and bite his free hand. I took the cotton ball off Liam's hand and replaced it with a big clean band-aid.
"All done." I said, closing the kit and walking back inside the family room. I sat down on the couch and pulled up both my legs and leaned my jaw on my knee while I hugged my legs. I wonder why they broke up, what could be the reason for Liam to punch the wall. He's not that violent.
"She cheated on me." Liam said sitting beside me. I didn't turn to look at him, I just waited for him to continue. Why would she freaking cheat on Liam?
I heard Liam sigh and sniff, "Wasn't I enough? Did I do something wrong? What did I do?" He asked. And I can see thru the corner of my eye that he was staring at me.
I turned to face him, "No, Liam. You didn't do anything wrong, she did it, not you. Don't ever blame yourself. You did everything for her, I guess that wasn't just enough for her." I said.
He looked at me and gave me a small smile, "There it is! Been looking for that smile." I said with a slight giggle.
He chuckled and pulled me in for a tight hug, "Thank you, Katherine." He whispered before kissing my forehead and standing up to his room.
"Its Kath, Lili." I said before giggling. He just chuckled and went straight to his room.
The Next Day....
I was putting on my left earring while walking down the stairs to find everybody in the family room. Hmm, weird. I never thought that the lads would be awake at this time. Everyone turned to me and smiled.
"Going somewhere?" Zayn asked.
While putting on my shoes, I nodded. "Yes, I'm meeting Jade at Starbucks."
"Ahhh. Right, to get you schedule?" Liam asked handing me a cup with coffee in it.
I smiled and took it, "Thanks." I mumbled then he kissed my forehead.
"And yes. I'm also meeting up with Cher right after." I said slinging my hand bag to my shoulders and grabbing my Liam's car keys on the key holder.
"Cherbear! I missed her. Could you kindly tell her to call me?" Niall said while his face lit up.
I took a sip of my coffee and nodded with a smile, "Sure thing, Love." I said. "See you later! Mwa mwa!" I said giving them all fly kisses before heading out the door to the driveway.
Going inside the car, my phone beeped. I opened my bag to get my phone and unlocked it to see a text message from Zayn. I smiled at the thought of him.

I blushed and put back my phone inside my bag, thinking of replying later after everything that I've planned for today. Turning on the engine, then drove off the driveway. I got to Starbucks for about 10 minutes since it wasn't that far. I parked in the parking lot and got out of the car to be mobbed by paparazzi. & no it wasn't because of I was a famous dancer, it's because Liam Payne is my brother. I covered my face with my hand that was holding the cup of coffee trying to walk pass the paparazzi, but instead they followed me until Starbucks with loads of questions coming out from their mouths.
"How are you, Katherine?!"
"Where's your brother?! Liam Payne!"
"Is it true that you will be joining them on their tour?!"
"Are you dancing for Little Mix and Cher Lloyd?!"
I finally got in Starbucks where there were no paparazzi allowed. I was looking around for Jade, on my tippy toes since I was short, then I spotted her at the end corner of Starbucks. I guess she spotted me too since she smiled and waved for me to come over, she wasn't alone though. I saw Perrie and two other girls, must Jesy and Leigh Anne. I smiled back and walked over to their table. There was an empty seat, so I guess that was for me. But before sitting down I was greeted by hugs from the girls, Perrie's hug was the longest. I don't know why though.
"I'm so happy to be working with you!" She giggled after sitting down. I sat down beside her since it was the only vacant seat.
I smiled and giggled, "I can't wait either! I love your newest single wings, and I've already made dance steps for them." I said shyly at the last part.
"Ahh. Impressive! I already like her!" The red haired girl said and laughed. "I'm Jesy, by the way. 1/4 of Little Mix."
I nodded my head at her, "yea, I've seen your pictures when your manager sent the contract. Nice to meet you, I'm Katherine." I said with a smile.
"And I'm Leigh Anne, but please call me Leigh Leigh." The girl with black hair and a snapback hat beamed at me.
I smiled at her, "Nice to meet you, Leigh Leigh." I giggled after saying that.
"So, here's your schedule. You start next week, since you only got here." Jade said handing me a folding from her bag.
I gladly took it and opened it to be occupied for the whole month of September. I gulped lightly, in hopes they didn't see that. Wow, I'll be working with Little Mix for the whole month? And that daily, according to my schedule. How am I suppose to be working with Cher and One Direction while I had a hectic schedule for Little Mix already?
"Is everything alright?" Jesy asked placing her hand on my lap.
I looked up at them then looked back at paper then back at them, "Uhmm.. It says here that I'll be working daily for the whole month of September?" I asked, trying to make sure this was right.
"Yes, that's right. Is there a problem, love?" Perrie asked, worriedly.
"It's just that, I will also be working with Cher Lloyd and One Direction." I said trying not to make it that I didn't want to work with them. But I did want too! Anything with dancing on it, I was up for it. I just didn't want to be so tired about it. I wanted to have fun with what I loved doing.
"Oh right.. Hmmm. We could just talk to Haley and see if she could do something about it." Jade said with a smile.
I looked back at the schedule. Oh what the heck! YOLO! It could not be that bad. Its dancing for heck sake! You can do this, Katherine. I looked back at them and smiled.
"No need, I can do it." I said confidently earning them to cheer. I giggled at the scenery before they pulled me in for their group hug. I giggled more and thought, this could be fun. After the group hug, we all said our goodbyes since the girls had to do rehearsals and recording some of their songs. I walked out of Starbucks and was mobbed by paparazzi again who was apparently waiting outside. My phone rang in my bag and I grabbed it to see that Cher was calling me. I accepted the call and placed my phone near my ear.
"Hello? Cher?" I said thru the phone.
"Yes, this is Cher. This is Katherine Payne right?" She said on the other line.
I nodded even though she couldn't see me, "Yes, this is she. I just got out from a meeting and was about to text you and ask where to meet you?" I said, walking pass the paparazzi and towards my car.
"Right. I am recording right now, so if you could just come over here then we'll continue then." She said.
I nodded again opening my car door and going inside then turning on the engine. "Alright, just text me the address and I'll be there." I said.
"Okay, see you then love." She said before hanging up. I tossed my phone on the passenger seat and drove off the parking lot. I heard my phone beep and took it from the seat and clicked on the message. Cher had just texted me the address and I was now driving there. I drove about 20 minutes tops before I got to the studios where Cher was recording. When I parked the car, Cher's manager was already outside waiting for me. I walked towards her and gave her a hug before going inside with her. There she was, recording inside the booth. She spotted me and gave me a smile and a wave. I smiled and waved back as her manager told me to take a sit and she will be out in a minute. I did what I was told and took out my phone to see 5 new messages. I smiled as I saw the people who sent me the texts, it was the lads.

I rolled my eyes and continued to the next text message, from Harry.

I chuckled at Harry's text then moved on with Liam's.

Hey sissy, I know Louis already asked you out but this is my day so you're hanging out with me! whether you like it or not! ;] Text me when all your meetings are over. Love you! xx
I smiled and chuckled at the sight of Liam's name on my phone, he probably changed it when I wasn't looking. Or when I was probably asleep. Then I moved on to Zayn's text.

I blushed at the thought of him waiting for my reply, I decided I wasn't going to reply to any of them and waited till this meeting was over. After reading Zayn's text message, Cher finally got out from the booth.
"Heey! So nice to finally meet you in person! you are so pretty, just like Liam!" She said giving me a tight hug.
I returned the hug and giggled, "Thank you. You are so pretty too! I watched you on X Factor, very talented I must say." I said.
"Thanks!..." She said taking a seat on the couch and pulling me down with her as her manager sat in front of us. "So, I know you're going to be working with Little & One Direction.." She trailed off making me nod so she could continue. "& We really love your dancing.." She trailed off again.
"Aww, thank you." I said then nodded again for her to continue.
"And we, I was wondering if creating a routine for my upcoming music video would be alright with you?" She said, making it sound more of a question.
Of course, I had no choice and said, "Of course of course! What song and when?" I asked smiling at her manager and her.
"Player boy, within 2 weeks." She said confidently.
I frowned but not showing them, Huh. Such a hectic schedule I have, and I just got here. I smiled and nodded, "Sure, no problem." I said. I hope so.
She smiled widely and pulled me in for a hug, "Thank you thank you thank you!" She said repeatedly.
I smiled and hugged her back, "You're welcome, Cher." She pulled away and was about to go back in the booth but stopped her, "Oh wait, Cher!" I said standing up and walking towards her.
She turned around with a smile, "yea?"
"Niall wanted me to tell you to call him." I said sweetly.
Her face lit up as I said Niall's name, "Sure, and thank you." She said then got back in the booth to record.
I nodded and waved goodbye at her manager then went out of the studio and in to my car. I dropped my bag on the passenger seat and placed both my hands on the steering wheel as I sighed and smiled. This is going to be a hectic month, I thought to myself.
