...The first day back to school after the break...
Peter stands outside Middleton High School, bags under his eyes, Peter is beyond sleep-deprived, his alternate persona has taken a toll on his body. He enters the cafeteria and sits at his table.
Mary Jane "Hey Peter!"
Peter "Hey MJ."
Ripley "What's wrong?"
Peter "I'm just a bit tired... I met up with a friend last night and me and her stayed up all night..."
Steven who is also sitting at the table looks awkwardly to Cindy who is already looking at Steven.
Mary Jane sits there silently, her mood has visibly changed.
Mary Jane "Is that so?.."
MJ picks up her notebook and leaves the table in a rush.
Peter "shit... shit shit shit... it wasn't even like that..."
Peter stands to chase after MJ.
Cindy Moon "Peter don't..."
Peter "I have to fix this Cindy..."
Peter turns to run after MJ into the hallway.
Peter "MJ!"
Mary Jane "Go away Peter..."
Peter "No MJ... it wasn't like that... she... it was her birthday... we were partying..."
Mary Jane "I know when you lie Peter... I know she ain't just a friend... you may have been partying last night... but she's more than a friend... am I right?"
Peter "...yes..."
Mary "Alright... Peter, I gave multiple signs to you... and you just ignored me... now you went to some other girl...am I just not good enough for you?"
Peter "You are MJ... it's just she is the one I'm dating... "
MJ "Goodbye Peter..."
Peter "MJ please..."
Mj walks down the hallway and Peter stands there, he walks back into the cafeteria to see Steven and Cindy standing at the corner of the door.
Peter "Really Guys?"
Cindy "Sorry..."
Steven "Yeah sorry... it was her idea..."
Cindy "WHAT?!?"
Steven "ok... it was my idea..."
... Peter Parker's First Period...
Mrs. Nelson " I welcome you back to school with open arms! I will be putting music on in the background and you can have a free day!"
Jake Constantine "W!"
Charles Murphy "Did you seriously just say "W" out loud? Grow up, Jake..."
Jake "Literally fuck off Charlie..."
Mrs. Nelson "Language Jake..."
Jake "sorry mrs."
Cindy "So Peter... want to talk?"
Peter "Nope."
Elizabeth "It's awkward right now... say where is Carl?"
Ripley "Who cares? He's a prick..."
Mrs. Nelson's "language."
Elizabeth "I agree with you Rip, I was trading some Pokémon cards with him today..."
Lacey Fisher "Pokémon is for losers... grow up nerds."
Cindy "Oh shut up Lacey... this is why you built like an orc."
Lacey "Oh yeah bitch?"
Lacey stands up and walks in front of Cindy, she raises her hand in the air and goes to swing at Cindy's face. In the last second, Peter walks out from behind the girls and grabs the wrist of Lacey.
Peter "I suggest you sit down... or there will be avid consequences..."
Lacey "You are such a Boy Scout Parker... you may have backup this time Cindy... but just watch your back... I'll kick your ass."
Peter "I said... sit... down."
Lacey sits down at her desk. Peter also sits down at his desk.
Peter "So Liz... you never told us you liked Pokémon?"
Elizabeth "Since I was a kid... I've been collecting all the cute ones."
Peter "Only the cute ones?"
Elizabeth "Yessir!"
...transitioning period between 1st and 2nd period...
Peter walks with Ripley toward the school gym.
Kevin Wayne quickly runs up from behind the two.
Kevin Wayne "Wassup bros!"
Peter "hey kev."
The three boys enter the gym to see two men, one is coach Delladova and the other is another man dressed in the school coach's uniform.
... 3 minutes later...
All the students stand in a line in front of the coaches.
Coach Delladova "ok everyone... if you didn't know... I'm retiring... and I'm going to introduce to you my replacement... Coach Yeager.
Coach Yeager is a Hispanic man with a recently shaved beard.
Peter "he looks so familiar..."
Coach Yeager "It's mince to meet you all..."
Coach Delladova "All alright everyone. Take laps around the gym..."
All the students in the class begin to walk around the gym. Kevin Ripley and Peter walk side by side.
Kevin "Hey Rip..."
Ripley "Hmm?"
Kevin "Can you give me Peter a second to talk..."
Ripley "sure..."
Ripley slows down and walks a few feet behind the boys.
Kevin "So Pete..."
Peter "What?"
Kevin "I know..."
Peter "Know what?"
Kevin "You're Spider-Man..."
Peter "What? No! That's not true..."
Kevin "cut the crap... I saw you fighting Steven's robot at the fair..."
Peter "Whatever you do... don't tell anyone."
Kevin "Oh no I won't... but does the group know?"
Peter "I'm gonna tell them eventually."
Kevin "Alright... just remember I'll have your back... always."
Kevin turns around and signals Ripley to join the walking group again.
...5th period...
Peter sits at his table with Maebree Kyle and C.J. Vogal.
Maebree "Where is Carl?"
Peter "Everyone is missing him today..."
Maebree "he never misses school."
Peter "mhm..."
Peter has his cup in his hand, he stands up to walk to Mr. Weathers, but accidentally Peter drops his ceramic cup and it shatters on the floor.
Peter "This day could not get worse..."
Mr.Weathers "pick it up..."
... the next transitioning period to 6th period...
Peter, Steven. Ripley walks down the hall to Dr. Conner's class.
Peter "I need to talk to Conners alone when we get in there."
Steven "Why?"
Peter "I'll tell you later..."
Ripley "You always say that, then don't tell..."
The three enter the classroom to see a to-due paper on the desk and Conners in his office.
Peter "You two sit down..."
Peter walks into Dr. Conner's back office and shuts the door behind him..."
Peter "Dr. Conners... we have to talk."
Dr. Curt Conners "Get out of here Peter..."
Peter "Not until you tell me why you are breaking into the Stark Warehouses..."
Dr. Conners "How do you..."
Peter "I have my ways..."
Dr. Conners "You're the Spider-Man..."
Peter "Why are doing this Conners..."
Dr. Conners "I trying to fix me..."
Peter looms visibly confused at Dr. Conners.
Dr. Conners rolls up his sleeves, his arm is discolored. Dr. Conners then removes his arm to reveal it's a prosthetic.
Peter "What happened to you?"
Dr. Conners "When I used to work for Oscorp... Norman had me assigned to the Wepons' decision... I was testin go these Bio-Degrading Explosive Grenade, that used radiation... during a test... a scientist, Phin Mason... sabatoged the experiment, in our office... causing himself and my arm to be atomized before we could realize what happened... I only survived because it was a prototype, so I've been borrowing stuff from Stark... to help grow my arm back... I'm so close... I can't let you stop me..."
Peter "I have to."
Dr. Conners grabs a vile with green liquid inside... he points it into his arm.
Peter "Please don't doctor."
Dr. Conners "You left me no choice... Spider-Man..."
Dr. Conners then injects himself with the green serum, his eyes turn green as he screams, he drops the glass vile and it shatters on the ground. His arm begins to change to the color green and what looks like scales appear on his skin. Claws emerge from his fingernails, his head begins to change into a long snout and teeth begin to shoot out the mouth.
The lizard-looking creature stares down at Peter, he runs toward the freshman, and knocks Peter against a wall as he runs through the wall, it crumbles behind him. Peter then seemingly blacks out.
