~ Nari's pov ~
I push my hair away from my face,pausing to catch a breath.A smirk forms on my face,watching a mother and her child pass by.I approach the baby,snatching the candy from him,raising my hand in the air with the candy inside it.Laughter fills the air,nudging each other playfully,until their faces shift into a worried one screaming and scattering off.
I let out a sigh,turning around to face her. "Hi,mom."I utter,she pushed her men away to face me."Stealing candy,Nari?"She asked,holding onto her scepter firmly close by her side."I'm so disappointed."She added,pouting with a touch of sarcasm and tilting her head in a sad way.
"It was from a baby"I remarked,showing the candy to my mother.She shifted the scepter to her left hand as I approached to give her the candy."That's my nasty little girl."She smirked,I couldn't help but grin at her comment.I tilted my head in confusion when she spat on the candy and put it beneath her armpit. "Give it back to the dreadful creature."She instructed,and one of the men took the candy and walked off to give it back to the baby.
I release a sigh,letting my arms fall to my side. "Mom..."I glare,placing my hand on my hip when my mother scoffed at my glare."It's the deeds Nari,that make the difference between mean and truly evil. "She says,truly evil being mainly said to the mother holding the baby,the mother did a slight nod and wave to my mom.
"When I was your age,I was cursing entire kingdoms."She smirks,I couldn't help but join in on saying the last words of her sentence."You.."She mutters softly,leaning back.
"Walk with me."She declares,casually swinging her arm over my shoulder both of us walking side by side while she spoke to me like mothers do these day and age."See,I'm just trying to teach you the thing that really counts."She explains,I respond by rolling my eyes at her statement,fiddling with my hands."How to be me."
"I know that,and I'll do better."I declare by nodding, while my friends stand behind me watching the conversation between my mom and me.Suddenly, she dramatically turns towards me and my friends. "There's news,I buried the lead."In response,I move myself infront of my friends,crossing my arms while patiently waiting for her to speak.
"You four have been chosen to go to a different school,in Auradon."She announced,once my friends here Auradon escape through her lips,they try to run away,only to be grabbed and brought back by my moms men."What? Im not going to some boarding school,filled to the brim with prispy pink princesses" I gag at the thought of being in the presence by them.
"And perfect princes"Ryeji sighs,admiring the thought of seeing princes.I give her a glare due to her answer,Ryeji groans after noticing my glare that I gave her."Yeah,and I don't do uniforms.Unless it's leather,you feel me?"Minho chuckles,raising his hand for a high five from Felix,but instead getting completely ignored by him.
Felix walked right closely behind me,cowering slightly."I read somewhere that they allow dogs in Auradon."Felix murmured,directing his attention to my mother,who sighed at his complaining,while I listened closely to it."Mom said they're rabid pack animals who eat boys who don't behave."Minho playfully barks down Felix's ear, causing Felix to push him away as he flinched.
"Yeah,mom,we're not going."I complain,crossing my arms,and giving her a stern look.
"Oh,you're thinking small,pumpkin."She remarked, swiftly turning around,nibbling on her nail."Its all about world domination."With a sly grin,she licks her front teeth.She gazes up,thinking for a moment then staring at us four then settling on her men.
"Knuckleheads"She shouts,as she walked away from us while her men follow behind."Nari..."She calls in a singy tone,that was my cue to follow after her.

"You will go,you will find Mizuki,and you will bring me back here magic wand."My mother declares, a huff coming out of her mouth,while doing her nails. "What's in it for us?"I grumble,with a hint of annoyance,placing my hand on my hip and tilting my head slightly."Matching thrones,hers and hers crowns?"My mother responded,still touching up her nails not darting a eye to us.
"Uhm,I think she meant us."Felix says,pointing to all of us,indicating that what I meant was directed to all of us and not just me.My mother discards the nail file and gestures for me to come forward while she leans against the railing,resting her hands on."Do you enjoy watching innocent people suffer?"My mother inquired,that's a most basic question why would she ask that?
"Well,yeah.I mean,who doesn't...."I scoff,flinching at her desperate self once she spoke up."Well,then get me the wand.And you and I can see all that and so much more."My mother firmly stated,gripping her hands tightly,releasing a deep sigh.Standing up straight,"And with that wand,and my scepter.I will be able to bend both good and evil to my will!"
"Our will."Ryejis mother corrects her,as all of their parents agree with her."Our will,our will."My mother gestures apologetically,snapping her fingers infront of my face to make me pay attention."And if you refuse,you'll be grounded for the rest of your life missy."She smirks,winking at me as her cheek slightly lifts.
"What...Mom..."I gasp,she snaps her fingers in my face.She moves close to me so our eyes meet,her eyes turn green and so do mine.I tightly grip the railing, trying to maintain eye contact to not lose to this game she's playing."Ugh,fine,whatever."I groan, diverting my gaze,making my way to the 4 steps and sitting down on it and focus on minding my own business.
"I win."My mother declares,placing her hand on her forehead as she leans back in a mocking manner. "Ryeji,my little Ryej-ette in training."Ryunhee,Ryejis mother adds,Ryeji walks up to her mother and takes a seat infront of her."You just find yourself a prince with a big castle,and a mother in law wing."
"And lots and lots of mirrors."They both chime in, Ryeji smiles until her mother warns saying it will form wrinkles,which she doesn't want on her flawless daughter,my mother groaned placing her hands on her head."Well,they're not taking my Felix, because I'd miss him too much."Gaeun,Felix's mother says,squeezing Felix's face with a pout. "Really mom?"
"Yes,who would touch up my roots? Fluff my fur and scrape the bunions off my feet?"Gaeun scoffs,raising her leg in the air making Felix catch it in his arms sadly."Yeah,maybe a new school wouldn't be the worst thing"Felix mutters softly,Gaeun releases her leg from his arms and holds his shoulders.
"Felix,they have dogs in Auradon."Gaeun recalls, causing Felix to instantly worrys and flinches at the thought of encountering a dog."Oh,no,I'm not going."My mother groans in response to their excuses.
"Well,Minho won't be going either.I need him to stock the shelves in my store."Moonkyu,Minhos father informs everyone,turning to Minho with a smile pushing him to the side."What did you score?"Moonkyu asks,Minho retrieves items from his clothes that he hidden and gives it to his father.A cloth,a mirror,a wooden spoon and a lamp.
Moonkyu quickly drops everything he was holding and grabs the lamp attempting to rub it."Dad,I've already tried."Minho says,avoiding eye contact with his father.Moonkyu immediately drops the lamp on the floor disappointed in his son."Well,Ryeji isn't going either.Need to get rid of this unibrow of hers."Ryhunhee remarks,making Ryeji gasp and touch up her brows in response.
"What's the matter with you all?"My mother exclaims,"People used to cower at the mention of our names."She firmly grips my wrist and drags me to take a seat in a chair near the table."For 20 years,I have searched for a way off this island."
"For 20 years they have robbed us from our revenge."
"Revenge on Snow White and her horrible little men."Ryunhee and Ryeji gasp in shock .
"Revenge on Aladdin and his bloated genie." Moonkyu stepped forward,instantly being pushed back by Minho.
"Revenge on every sneaky Dalmation that escaped your clutches."Felix hides behind his mother,Gaeun.
"Oh,but they didn't get baby.They didn't get the... they didn't get the baby."Gaeun cackled,squeezing her stuffed toy ball on her coat.While Felix stood behind her in confusion."And I,Park Yujin,I shall finally have my revenge on sleeping beauty and her relentless little prince."My mother declared,settling on Ryunhees lap and gazing at herself in the magic mirror.
"Villians,our day has come."My mother grinned, returning Ryunhees mirror."Give her the magic mirror."My mother stood up from Ryunhees lap, walking away from them to stand near everyone, While Ryunhee handed Ryeji her magic mirror.
"This is your magic mirror?"Ryeji inquired,admiring the mirror that is in her possession with everyone observing her movements."Well,it ain't what we used to be,and neither are we.But it will help you find things."Ryunhee explained,observing her daughter look at herself in the mirror and adjust her makeup.
"Like a prince."
"Like my waistline."
"Like the magic wand? Hello!"My mother exclaims, getting close to Ryunhees face then backing away.
"My spell book,my book,I need my...that book."My mother says,Ryunhee clicks her tongue,pointing at the safe behind her.My mother walks towards the safe,to try open the door and fails at her first attempt at it.Ryunhee stands up,and walks over moving my mother away from the door,opening it within seconds.
Smoke and cold air came rushing out from the safe. "My spell...Come,darling.Come."My mother calls for me,I stand up from my seat and walked over to where she and everyone else was standing."There she is,it doesn't work here but it will in Auradon."My mother says,caressing the spell book with her hand as I admire it."Remember,when we spreading evil and ruining lives."My mother speaks,smiling at Ryunhee.
"Like it was yesterday."
"And now,you will be making your own memories." My Mother says,I reach for the book but she swiftly took it back."By doing exactly as I tell you."She places the book against my chest,and I grab it with my hands and put it in my bag.A car beap was heard outside.
Everyone began gathering their things,well not exactly just calling for them and Ryunhee reminding Ryeji who's boss."Who is the fairest of them all?"Ryunhee asked,placing her hands on the chair infront of her."Me."Ryunhee gasped."You."Ryeji corrected."Yes let's go."Ryunhee said,clapping her hands together as both Ryeji and her walked out.
My mother opened the balcony doors,placing her hand on my shoulder as she leaned closer to me. "The future of the free world,rests on your shoulders."
"Don't blow it."
