Chapter 191
No One POV
The official rounds of the Kalos league had just begun and all of the participants Keenan,Iori,Georgia,James,Bonnie,Sakura and Burgundy are all doing their respective battles are still waiting for them to be announced.
All of this battles are 3 vs 3 until the top 8 which will all be full battles, normally it would take awhile for all of this to be done with, but with powerhouse like Keenan and James in it...it'll be going by pretty fast.
For the first battle let's see how Iori is doing as she managed to defeat 2 of 3 Pokémon from her first opponent.
Iori:now Volcarona use Heat Wave go.she commanded
Random Fodder:c-crap dodge it now Wigglytuff.
Without any warning the powerful wave of heat had hit the Wigglytuff which consumed it in the fiery inferno as the attack had subsided to reveal the winner of the battle which was Iori's Volcarona.
Ref:*raises his flag*Wigglytuff is unable to battle Volcaron is the winner, therefore the winner of this match and will be moving onto the next tour is Iori.he announced
Iori:*pumps her fist*hell yeah we made it to the next round Volcarona, I guess all that training with Tatsu really paid off.she said as she hugged her Pokémon
As everybody in her arena is seen clapping and cheering at her victory as Tatsumi was the loudest of them all as Kala was standing next to him kinda creeped out at how fast he was clapping for her.
Kalakaua:*sweat drops*dude clam the fuck down she only made it to the top 32 it's just the beginning for her.he said to him
Tatsumi:*crosses his arms*yes I know that dude but it's still a big accomplishment for her since she was an idol before all this, besides people like Keenan and James are in this so let me enjoy this moment for her.he told him
Kalakaua:*shrugs*hmm I suppose your right, might as well bask in her victory before she gets her ass handed to her by either one or them.
Tatsumi:*glares at him*you aren't making this any better.
Kala just shrugged in response since he knows that it's the truth and well there wasn't anything he could do about it, even Tatsumi knows that she'll lose if she goes up against Keenan or James there's no going around that and none of them will take it easier as well.
Change Scene Georgia
Now with Georgia's battle as she's currently battling up against a trainer using a Dragon type which is what she wanted, since she needs it to get warmed up for Keenan(she knows she won't win but it's a good motivator).
She managed to defeat his other 2 Pokémon and the last Pokémon that she's using is a Altaria, but Georgia pretty much has the perfect counter for that. It's an Alolan Ninetales pretty much a nightmare for all Dragon types out there.
Georgia:let's end this with Blizzard now Ninetales.she commanded
Other Fodder:d-dodge it now Altaria.she cried out to her Pokémon
Altaria was pretty much useless as Ninetales had unleashed the harsh blizzard at it which caused it to grit its teeth from the attack as he was sent flying back toward her side with swirls in its eyes.
The ref had made his way over toward the downed Pokémon to make sure it was down for the count as he raised his flags.
Ref:*raises his flag*Altaria is unable to battle therefore the winner of this match is Georgia as she will be moving onto the next round.he announced
Georgia:alright well at least we made it past the top 64...now all that's left is the top 32 which will be harder of course.
Her main target is of course Keenan which she'll get what she wants....but who knows what the author has in store for the other characters.
Change Scene Bonnie
With Bonnie as she absolutely dominated her opponent using only one Pokémon which was her Tyrantrum...which was also the same one from that one fossil episodes from the XY series if any of you remember.
As the large Pokémon is standing tall after defeating it's opponents Pokémon which was a Breloom...that poor Breloom got annihilated.
Ref:*raises his flag*Breloom is unable to battle Tyrantrum is the winner, therefore Bonnie will be moving onto the next round.he announced
Bonnie:ALRIGHT WE DID IT.she cheered loudly
Her Tyrantrum had ran over toward her and tacked her into the ground which made some of the audience wince at that but she seemed relatively unharmed or she just grown used to it, as Clemont and the others had also cheered at her victory.
Serena:*surprised*wow she really has gotten strong that's for sure, I guess she spent a lot of time training her Pokémon.she said out loud
Clemont:well she did stayed at the gym before she went out to get the gym badges, and she also told me she trained with Malva of the Kalos Elite Four a bit as well.he told her
Serena:wow...I had no idea, I guess thats what happens when I don't talk to you guys in awhile.
Ash:still tho can she get past people like Keenan and James? That's the real question I'm trying to find for myself.
Clemont:I know Keenan is really powerful but is James that much of a threat?
Ash:*nods*yeah, James had managed to beat me on several occasions so it's safe to say that he's a threat.
Out of all of them Ash knows how strong the two of them are since he had the experience batting them before in the past, as the recent battle Ash had with Keenan it was pretty much one sided to say the least. Keenan's Pokémon had managed to beat all of his although at the end he did managed to draw.
James on the other hand is a different story as his battling style reminds him of Tobias, Ash doesn't really want a rematch against Tobias but he has seen him battle in the past and noticed the similarities. The thing is can Bonnie really compete against those 2 monsters?
Serena:well I do know how strong the both of them are but I do think Bonnie can provide them with a challenge since she does have Squishy with her.
Ash:*shakes his head*I don't think Squishy is enough for either of them, Keenan has that Rayquaza of his and not to mention Ho-oh and Regigigas. As for James...well I'm sure he has something just as insane.
They can't really see any flaw in the facts that Ash has said so they didn't really said anything but they have noticed that he's changed ever since....the whole Alola incident with Lana. He started to take things more seriously and that also includes his training.
Change Scene Burgundy
Up next on the list is Burgundy, just like Georgia she also made some quick work of her first official opponent, as he didn't really stand a chance against her what so ever since her choice had basically one shotted all of his Pokémon.
The Pokémon Burgundy is using is a Snorlax she caught back when she traveled through Kanto a few years back after the whole canon Unova events.
Fodder:Typhlosion use Flamethrower go.he commanded
Burgundy:let's show them our Body Slam Snorlax.she ordered
Just like the other rounds before hand her large Snorlax had charged directly into the Flamethrower completely ignoring the fire type attack as he charged right through still Raif damage but toughing it out.
He slammed into the Typhlosion which caused its eyes to widen from the impact as he was sent flying past its trainee and into the back wall, the dust had cleared up to reveal that he has swirls in his eyes signifying his defeat.
Ref:*raises his flag*Typhlosion is unable to battle Snorlax is the winner, therefore Burgundy will be moving onto the next round.he announced
Burgundy:hmph that'll show that dam Dragon Buster I hope she seen what I accomplished.she said to herself
As she returned her Snorlax who looked quite tired and beat up from the battles it has as he pretty much did a full on sweep, she'll still need to exact her revenge against Georgia but that can wait.
Change Scene James
Now with James....well there isn't really a reason to write something for him since he basically one shotted everyone he faced off against and did so with ease. But as for the Pokémon he used well it was his Carnavine which put it some work.
His opponent underestimated which was his big mistake considering it was pretty much double the size of a regular one....and it also one shotted all of his Pokémon despite the type advantage, so bro gotten humbled and humiliated.
Change Scene Keenan
For Keenan his battle is about to begin as he pretty much has the Pokémon in mind he wants to use, as he's been training it for the past few months and he thinks it's about time her gets his first official battle under his belt.
This match Keenan is facing off against a girl who seems to be around the same age him but maybe a year or 2 younger, she laid her eyes upon him and well couldn't help but flirt.
"Well well who would've thought my opponent will be the hottest guy our age, this should make things interesting." She said as she looked at him.
Keenan:I'm honestly surprised your not hitting on me.he says back to her
"Oh believe me I do want to go out on a date with you at least once...and possibly a little more then that~."
Keenan:first of all how old even are you? he asked
"I'm 15 years old so I'm pretty much in the prime of my teenage years."
Keenan:sorry to break it to you but I don't feel like impregnating a 15 year old.he said back to her
Whoever knows him has face palmed at what he said as he's pretty much the dad of quite a few children out there and him saying that Is kinda hypocritical....but in all honesty he wouldn't really mind since she is quite cute but he doesn't feel like being the dad of some girl he doesn't know too well.
Ref:trainers this will be a 3 vs 3 battle as the winner will be decided once either sides Pokémon are unable to continue, in addition substitutions is also allowed. And it has also been decided that Keenan will choose first.he told them
Keenan:*thinks*figured they'd give her ass the advantage but it's not like it'll matter.he thought to himself
The battle had officially started as Keenan without saying a word had threw out his first choice and most likely only choice for this battle, as he appeared onto the battlefield with a roar and a ring of shine to go along with it.
Everybody was surprised to see the odd yet cool looking Pokémon as even the girl had looked confused since she never seen this Pokémon in person before.....plus it looks strong as well.
"Well crap this is the first time seeing a Pokémon like that, just where the hell did he get it from?" She thought to herself sweating a bit already not liking this.
Keenan:*thinks*she most likely doesn't know what kinda Pokémon Skeledirge so I can use this to my advantage.he thought to himself
"Alright let's go Politoad."
Her first Pokémon had made its way onto the battlefield as he clapped its hands ready to go as Keenan raised an eyebrow at that....its been awhile since he faced off against a Politoad not since Tatsumi's one.
Keenan:*thinks*huh been awhile since I battled one not since Tatsumi's one.
Ref:*raises his flag*before we begin Maya will get the first move, Politoad vs Skeledirge let the match begin.
"use Rain Dance."
Not wasting anytime she called out her first move as Politoad has summoned a rain cloud over them to lower the attack damage of Fire type attacks....but it's not like it'll make a difference, as Skeledirge looked quite unfazed.
"Tch unfazed huh, well in that case use Hydro Pump."
Keenan:Hyper Voice.
Skeledirge had opened its mouth and unleashed a very loud sound that was almost song like as the powerful sound waves had made its way over toward Politoad and destroyed the Hydro Pump like it was nothing.
The attack had made contact with him as it sent him flying back toward her feet with swirls in her eyes, as she was pretty much wide eyed at what just happened. She knew Keenan was strong but seeing it up close was just....unbelievable.
"Holy shit they weren't kidding when they said that Keenan was super strong, and he isn't even taking this seriously at all. I hate to battle up against one of his more stronger ones." She thought to herself.
Ref:*raises his flags*Politoad Is unable to battle Skeledirge wins, will trainer Maya please send out your next Pokémon.he announced
In these rounds there really isn't any announcer since they'll come around the top 16 trainers which will be battling in the main stadium, Maya has returned her downed Pokémon expecting him to basically one shot her.
"Even tho I'm VERY outmatched I'm not gonna forfeit, I'll use this one next. Milotic let's go."
Her next Pokémon has also surprised Keenan as he came to the conclusion that she has a Rain Dance team...hence why she used it before the battle had started....which of course didn't worked since Keenan was too powerful for her.
Keenan:the team that you have is a Rain Dance team isn't it?
Maya:*nods*yeah my mom had a team similar to mines and she did pretty well when she was a trainer...but up against you its practically nothing.she told him
Keenan:you running away and forfeiting already have my respect. But I do think that you could improve your team a bit more.
Maya:*surprised*eh seriously?
Keenan:yeah...but maybe I'll tell you a couple of things after this battle.
She didn't really know what to say to this as she has seen her mom used the team before but to her it was a bit too complicated and came up with her version which worked as if got her all 8 Kalos gym badges and into the Kalos league.
Up against Keenan it doesn't really matter since he's just wayyy too strong for her and pretty much everybody else out there.
Ref:*raises his flag*Skeledirge vs Milotic let the battle begin.
Keenan:I'm not gonna make any moves so you can have it.
Maya:*sweats a bit*my what a gentleman you are but if you say so, Milotic use Aqua Tail.
This time Keenan didn't do anything as he let Milotic hit Skeledirge head on which he pretty much tanked the super effective attack like it was pretty much nothing, as steam had covered parts of the battlefield until it finally cleared.
To no surprise Skeledirge looked relatively unharmed as he narrowed his stare at Milotic whose eyes widened In surprise....it didn't do shit.
Maya:*thinks*just as expected that didn't do anything at all despite taking a super effective move head on.she thought to herself
Keenan:now...Skeledirge use Flare Blitz.
Before Maya could utter a command Skeledirge had already gotten covered in a brilliant bright red flames and charged at Milotic in a trail of blazing hot fire and slammed right into it, she was sent flying back as she landed in front of Maya with swirls in her eyes.
Ref:*raises his flag*Milotic is unable to battle Skeledirge is the winner, will trainer Maya bring out your last Pokémon.he announced
Maya:*thinks*well dam...just like that I'm already down to my last...he really is a fucking monster.she thought to herself
Keenan:*thinks*starting to feel kinda bad but it's whatever....i came here to battle James and I owner divert my attention off of that goal.he thought to himself
She thanked and returned her defeated Milotic as Keenan does think that she has potential but he won't be the one teaching her, he's already made up his mind to show her a few tricks and give her recommendations for Water type Pokémon and other Pokémon as well.
Maya:*sighs*man I seen this coming from a mile away, I knew I didn't stand a chance soon as I seen you In the brackets for the preliminaries.she said out loud
Keenan:still did a lot better then most of my opponent's since their asses gave up before or during the battle. That just goes to show that your not like the others and won't give up thar easily.
Maya:hmm I guess so...but I might well go all out then, Swampert let's go.she threw out her next choice
In all honestly Keenan had expected her to have a Water type starter and it seems he was right on the money with that, she overall has a real decent team but the thing is...their just incredibly weak to Grass and Electric type Pokémon. Sure she most likely has counter measures but it still isn't enough.
Keenan:you know you already have a great foundation for a Rain Dance team but all your missing is a Mega for your starter and a bit more counters as well.he told her
Maya:what do you mean by counters? She asked confused
Keenan:I won't get too much into detail here since I'll tell you after the battle, to put It simply your very weak to Grass and Electric type Pokémon but I'm about to change that.
When he said that she seem to know what he was talking about and decided to stay quiet about it as he already told her that he'll tell her after this whole battle which in the inside she's absolutely fangirling that Keenan will be giving her tips.
Red:*raises his flag*Swampert vs Skeledirge, let the match begin.he announced
Keenan:this time we'll take the first move and use Flamethrower.
Maya:*her eyes widens*q-quick dodge it.
As Skeledirge had launched the powerful stream of fire at Swampert who managed to swerve to the side avoiding the attack, but you could still feel the heat of the attack tho. It's not as strong as Keenan's other powerful Fire type Pokémon but it's still up there.
Maya:now use Hammer Arm now.
Keenan:use your tail to send him back.
Just when Swampert was close to hitting him with his glowing arm, Skeledirge had twisted his body and used his large tail to smack him away which was successful as he also took a bit of damage from that.
But Maya had also realized something as well.....he's in the perfect position to launch an attack and that is what Keenan is going to do.
Keenan:alright let's end this with Torch Song.he called out his signature move
Maya:this time were attacking back, use Hydro Cannon.
The 2 opposing attacks had made its way over toward each other as it clashed in the middle creating a bit of a power struggle, but in the end Skeledirge's attack had pushed through and hit Swampert head on dealing a great deal of damage.
The smoke from the explosion had started to clear up to reveal Swamper buried a bit in sand and with swirls in his eyes. Although Keenan had one shotted all of her Pokémon she still didn't gave up in the end.
Ref:*raises his flag*Swampert is unable to battle Skeledirge is the winner, therefore Keenan will be moving onto the next round.he announced
As the entire crowd had cheered although they expected it to happen, as Keenan had also thanked his Skeledirge and returned him back into his ball until he threw a piece of paper at her as she looked at it.
Keenan:be sure to be ready since after this I'm going to have one of my Pokémon pick you up and guide you toward my destination.he told her
Maya:o-oh ok I guess...I'll see you later then.she said back to him
With that the battle between Keenan and Maya is now concluded....and it's now for the announcement for the top 32 trainer's which is getting close to the top 16.

Still No One POV
After the first official rounds has ended it's now time of the announcement of the top 32 trainers that will be paired up against, as of course it applies for the main stars of the show which is Keenan and James but it also does foes the others as well.
"Ladies and gentlemen congratulations on making it to the top 32 trainers here at the Kalos league as we won't waste anymore time as we'll get right into the match making."
The announcer had said into the mic as on the big screen all 32 cards are starting to shuffle and do all sorts of moves as everybody who managed to make it into the next round is all focused their attention onto the big screen until the match ups has been made.
Iori vs ???
Sakura vs ???
Bonnie vs ???
James vs Burgundy
Keenan vs Gerogia
Those were the match ups as Keenan was slightly surprised to see that he's up against Georgia of all people but he will keep to his promise tho and that's us Dragon types or Dragon like Pokémon up against her.
As for Georgia she's also gulping a bit in nervousness since she really did get paired up against Keenan of all people, but at the same time she's also quite excited as well. She knows she can't win but she'll at least battle up against some strong Dragon types.
James:*thinks*hmm that Burgundy girl huh, well this should be interesting. I do wonder what Pokémon I should use against her? He thought to himself
Burgundy:*thinks*hmm James huh, isn't he that hot magenta colored hair guy who's also really powerful? She thought to herself
"These are the match ups as I wish everyone one of you luck in tomorrow's battles, and just as a friendly reminder. Announcers and commentators will be during the top 16."
The match up's has been made as the girls will be battling up against some fodders but James and Keenan will be battling up against Georgia and Burgundy respectively....so things should get quite interesting.
A/N:well this is it for the chapter and again I know it took longer then expected to get this shit out but it's whatever(but I'll explain it again in this one.) I've been busy with real life shit and other things that's been going on and is just been....mentally draining. Aside from work but there's also been personal matters.
But the first of the official rounds is now done and up next is the battle between James and Burgundy and Keenan vs Georgia...I'll try and squish both battles into one chappie hit we'll see...if I have time that is.
Next chapter is gonna be "2nd Official Rounds"
