༊*·˚𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: doiran grew up with a very loving mother, even though she had a lot of duties and jobs as queen of a kingdom she spent all of her free time taking care of dorian and making sure he grew up in a loving environment. his mother began to teach him how to play the piano when he was really young wanting to pass down her passion to her son, and dorian loved it, he loved learning all the songs that his mother loved. he was extremely close to his mother growing up, he spent a lot of his time with her. as much as his father wanted to introduce dorian to his future job as a king he accepted that he was learning something hanging around his mother, but when he was older he would start to introduce the job of a king. when dorian was about five years old, his mother got pregnant and gave birth to his little sister, princess iris. dorian got close to his younger sister since he followed his mother around every where, he was extremely close to his mother since she was the main caretaker, as his father really did not care about dorian and iris, simply about running the kingdom successfully. though at the age of seven, dorian's father decided it was time to introduce dorian to the jobs of a king. he began schooling under a few different tutors, learning how to read and write. though as dorian grew older he took on more and more responsibility, he began to shadow his father through the day learning all the responsibilities of a king. dorian's father did not care to make a relationship with dorian, he was more focused on raising him to be a 'proper' king, which in his father's view was a tyrant. his father wanted complete control over the kingdom. he soon learned that he wanted to earn the respect and trust of his people, to be a fair and just leader, though he would never tell his father that because that would make his father extremely disappointed and angry. one evening, at the age of fifteen he woke up in the middle of the night at the sound of shouts and screams. he was terrified but soon enough he learned that there was an attack on the castle and the royal family. he was terrified. dorian knew he had to get to the safe room but he knew he needed to get his younger sister who was ten at the time. he rushed to iris's room, waking her up and lifting her up so he would be able to move faster. his mother rushed into the room a few moments after, telling dorian to run and get out of here, that she would be behind them. dorian took this and ran to the servant passages that ran through the castle and to the safe room where his father and a group of guards were. however, his mother never showed up. the next day, dorian, iris and his father were released from the safe room. though dorian wanted to look for his mother and figure out where she as, though the knights would not let them into iris's room. he could tell something was wrong. alistair soon got the news that his mother had been murdered by intruders, she stayed back to stall the attackers so he and iris would be able to get to the safe room. dorian was obviously devastated by the death of his mother, he blamed himself for not thinking about going back for her, or dragging her with him. he was overwhelmed with the grief of her death and struggled to really do anything for quite some time, even though his father grew impatient. he soon forced dorian to trail and shadow him once more. the next few months were rough with dorian, he lost his mother and his father did not seem to care. he confided in his younger sister and they tried to work through their grief together by setting up a support system. dorian soon grew more motivated and began to travel to learn more on how to become a king. though during one of those travels, he and his group of knights were attacked by a band of thieves. this left dorian with the wound on his stomach because he had tried to defend the knights and fight alongside them, though it did not end well and the knights travelled back to the castle with him where dorian would spend all his time healing from the awful wound in his stomach. as dorian healed he threw himself into his work, becoming more motivated with becoming king and creating a kingdom where his citizens were actually heard.

༊*·˚ 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆: dorian has a bit of a tense relationship with his father, present day. he barely talks to his father and will only communicate him if he has to. dorian's relationship with his mother is something he will always treasure, he always loved spending time with her and he hopes he is making her proud by the way he is living his life today. he has been to visit his mother's grave quite often, leaving behind some of her favourite flowers. he is extremely close to his younger sister, taking over the role as her main caretaker since his father could care less.
༊*·˚ 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿: dorian's mother was a very caring and loving woman. she was a very lovely and nice woman who cared quite a bit for her son, she would always spend her time teaching him how to play the piano since she was very passionate with playing the piano herself. dorian loved spending time with his mother while his father was off working, he enjoyed playing the piano with her as well as learning different sheet music to play.
༊*·˚ 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿: dorian barely has a relationship with his father, he despises his father for the treatment he has gone through in his entire life. dorian barely tolerates his father as his treatment and his cowardly tendencies which caused the death of his mother by leaving her behind during the attack.
༊*·˚ 𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿: dorian is very close to his younger sister iris, the two support each other no matter what especially throughout the death and the grieving period of his mother. dorian also wanted to give iris the same treatment that his mother gave him when he was younger, doing his best to be there for her and give her the most normal childhood she would be able to have, the two are still extremely close.
༊*·˚ 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲: dorian wants a partner who is honest and someone he can be honest to, he values honesty the most in a relationship. he also values communication quite a bit, he believes a relationship doesn't work unless there is communication between both of them. he wants to know everything about his partner and in turn he wants them to know everything about him. dorian wants a partner who will be there for him through the thick and thin and in turn he will be there for them as well.
