"let's go let's go" Abby says as we enter the studio we are renting for the week

"morning" mom says
"hello" Kelly says
"intensity dance was intense i saw lots of mistakes and yet this was the week were every solo needed to strive for perfection this was the last competition before we go to nationals you were duly warned, we won at the 2011 national title i wanna win it again now this week we're going to stay right here in sunny Los Angeles but we are going to the most famous zip code" Abby says and mom gasps
"90210 sorry!" mom says and her and Kelly laugh
"we are going to nationals 90210 beverly hills" Abby says and we all cheer and clap
"we are going to energy dance national invitational"
"so let's get to the pyramid.. Paige, you knew you were going to be there you forgot your dance you have so much more talent than you're able to show A because of an injury and B because you don't remember what you're doing"
"next Nia, i thought you could've been better i need you to be just as strong at the end as you are in the beginning"
"next i have Chloe, Chloe you have been consistently in the top five for most of your life sixth? is not good enough for you"
"Kendall you came out there strong you were exciting you were energised you're tricks were clean you're movements were sharp you attacked them everything a great jazz dance needs to be when you started your turns they were a bit sluggish even your mother pointed that out to me"
"moving along Brooke, you won you were in the overall high scores i was proud of you but you know what you are capable of doing more and you're lazy and you're sitting there saying this is good i can coast i'm still winning i'm still getting a platinum i can step out there and do one chin stand and get a platinum that's what i see happening."
"Mackenzie, it's easy stuff that you mess up the round off back hand spring was great the side aerial was great the ariel walkover was great this.. come on"
"Maddie, you did your solo you looked great i'm very proud of you"
"and Evie you're on top of the pyramid, you went out there and you looked like a seasoned professional" Abby says and i smile
"now everyone is in the group routine and this group routine is very disturbing and the title is my last text" me and Paige make a face to eachother
"this routine should leave the judges feeling something, energy dance is allowing us to do six additional routines"
"Mackenzie you're doing a solo this week, Evie you'll have a solo because you just won the overall" i beam i get another solo at nationals!
"Maddie you'll be doing a solo because of your performance last week, Brooke you will be doing the diary of Anne Frank"
"Paige you will not have a solo this week i want you to concentrate on the group dance and i want you to remember it, Nia Kendall and Chloe we're going to teach all three of you the same choreography so you three get your game faces on and remember they're not your friends they're your competitors"
"i also have a duet because the duet i had last year won, so this year my duet is Evie and Maddie" Abby says
me and Maddie squeal and hug eachother so tight.
"okay moms you're dismissed girls spread apart"

|Group Rehearsals|
"so here's a car seat, Maddie get in the passenger seat right there" Abby says and Maddie sits down
"Paige sit here in the drivers seat"
"Brooke go here behind Paige, Kendall beside her then Nia and Chloe"
"Mackenzie crouch down behind those four."
"now where am i going to put you?" Abby says to me
"could you go on someone's knee?"
"is that even allowed in driving?" i ask
"is texting allowed in driving?" Abby asks and i shake my head
"there you go." Abby says and i walk over and sit on Brooke's knee
"Brooke put one arm around her waist and then use the other as a phone" Abby says and brooke puts her left arm around my waist
"now you're in a car so when she turns everybody has to lean" and we laugh
"when the click happens Evie you bounce sideways and roll on the ground" Abby says and we learn the routine and i really like the first bit
"Paige for gods sakes you haven't even danced yet sit up straight" Abby corrects, Kenzie dies first in the dance and Nia goes over to do CPR
"push 2,3,4 now grab her pull her away from her away" Abby says to Nia and Maddie
"make it clean Evie!" Abby says as i do a turn
"front!" Abby says and we do more of the group
"were you?" Abby asks Kendall and she shakes her head
"who almost tripped over her." Abby asks and Maddie raises her hand
Abby sighs "okay go get a drink"
we leave and go to the moms
"oh my god!" Chloe comes out screaming and we all start explaining the group to the moms
"we're all like dying through out the dance and um" Chloe says
"i'm somehow on Brooke's knee because we ran out of room to put me." i say
"who's texting? who's the culprit" Jill asks
"we all are" Kendall says
"no Paige dies first." Kenzie says
"who's driving?" Jill asks
"Paige." Chloe says
"what do you mean you don't dance?" Christi asks
"i sit like this" Paige says
"she sits like that the whole time" Nia says
"you don't even stand up?" Holly and Christi say
Paige shakes her head "i sit like this the whole time" Paige says
"doing what?" mom asks
"just ignore it Paige she's just doing it to be mean" Kelly says
"Paige what about Abbys talked a lot about kids having a voice being able to talk instead of mom saying something why don't you go and say to Miss Abby and say and tell her i'd like to do more" Holly suggests and Paige Nia and Kendall go to ask Abby
"i'm scared for her." i say
"same sister" Christi says and i laugh.

|Two Days To Competition|
we are sitting with the moms before rehearsals start
"you guys you have to see this tweet" Gia comes out and hands Christi the phone and Christi looks shocked
"oh my god!" Christi says
"hi Abby the Candy Apples Dance Apples Centre can't wait beat your ass at energy's national invitationals xoxo Cathy" Christi reads out i gasp
"no!" the others moms say
"they're going to be hungry for it though" Holly says
"i know and they probably have been working on this dance for like a while." Kelly says
"and we're learning ours in two days" Kelly adds

|Group Rehearsals|
i'm sitting beside Maddie as Paige isn't on the chair yet and i don't wanna crush Brooke's knees
"girls this is for nationals this is the last competition of the season i don't think you understand what's at stake at nationals Cathy is coming" Abby says
"and they're going to come with one number to beat you"Paige gets in her spot and i sit back on Brooke's knee, our music starts and our click happens and i fall sideways. I do my bits in the dance and i make sure my acting is very well because i'm the last one to die, i die right at the end as me and Maddie exit so i have portray me slowly dying throughout the whole number

|Solo Rehearsal|
my solo this week is entitled moonlight sonata and it's a really pretty lyrical number. it has a lot of turns and acting and i think it's a winning solo!

|Maddies Solo Rehearsals|
since the moms are watching today the girls have to stay in the rehearsal room and we are sitting at the side and me and Chloe are like miming to eachother because it's a bit boring
"i think it's hard to dance when mothers are picking on you right infront of your face" Abby says and mines and Chloes head shoots up
"who's ripping on her?" Kelly asks
"we didn't say anything about Maddie." Holly says
"and Abby by the way i was not talking about Maddie i was talking out how my daughter come 3,000 miles to do three steps" Kelly says
"and be lucky she's doing those three steps" Abby says
"why?" Kelly says
"after she went out there and screwed up her dance and didn't do it and forgot it again at eleven years old." Abby says
"what?" Kelly says
"i get back to the paediatrician and find out what's wrong Kelly" Abby says and my eyes widen
"for real find out what's wrong.. go." Abby says to Kelly then to Maddie and Kelly stands up
"let's go Paige, Brooke you can leave class too." Kelly says and leaves and the other moms then walk out assumingly to find Kelly

|Duet Rehearsals|
"okay you're duet this week is entitled Like a sister." i beam i'm so excited we learn the duet and there's some really nice turn sections that i never get to do in duets! we finish the duet and we get dismissed
Then it's the solo battle for Chloe Kendall and Nia and personally Chloe did it the best, thankfully she got the solo it will make up for forgetting it last year.

|Competition Day|
we enter the dressing room
"girls come on this is nationals you worked all year every single day you were in that studio rehearsing every weekend we flown to a competition has led to this point today what you do on that stage could change the rest of your life understood?" Abby says
"Maddie you're up first, Chloe i'm gonna have you get ready we need to do some psyching out with justice"mom does my hair and i put on my team jacket then we go to the audience to watch Maddie. I sit in between mom and gia.
"please welcome to the stage entry number 9a this is Maddie performing telling myself" the announcer says, Maddies solo is phenomenal it's going to be tough this year. she finishes her solo and i cheer so loud for her
Justice is up next and he's basically in the same costume as last time and we finishes his solo and i clap.
we head back to the dressing room and mom helps me with my makeup
"woohoo! good job, Maddie that was a national award winning solo" Abby says
Evies costume and hair
I get my costume on and my hair done, as i help Kenzie with her makeup as she was on soon. And I put my team jacket and head down to the audience with Chloe to watch Brooke and Kenzie perform
Brookes solo was so pretty and Kenzie was adorablec Kenzie finishes and i cheer so loudly
"GO KENZ" i scream, then we head back to the dressing and I hug Kenzie
"you were so good!" i say. And then I go over to Brooke and hug her.
"You were so pretty!" I say. And she smiles and hugs me back.
"woohoo! where are the girls?" Abby says and she hugs Kenzie, me and Chloe are up next and i'm pretty nervous, then me and Chloe walk hand in hand backstage.
"be amazing as usual" i say and i hug her
"please welcome Chloe performing Silence" the announcer says, Chloe enters and her solo was absolutely phenomenal i think that was the best i've ever seen her dance and i'm super nervous, she finishes the solo and exits the stage and i hug her.
"you were phenomenal!" i say
"thank you" she says
"please welcome Evie performing moonlight sonata." the announcer says and i enter the the stage to perform my heart out .
i make sure everything was clean, then i finish my solo, i exit the stage and then Chloe hugs me. After, we head back to the dressing room and my mom hugs me and so does Maddie
"that was amazing" Maddie says and mines and maddies duet is up next
Duet costumes

we head backstage to do the duet
we are on opposite sides so i do a little heart to Maddie before we enter
"Please welcome to the stage Evie and Maddie performing Like a sister." the announcer says,
we both enter and start the duet, we start to dance we were so in sync and i'm really happy all our turns are clean and we put our all into it
i finish the dance on my knees and Maddie is behind me. the crowd cheers and we exit hand in hand
"we did it!" i say and i hug Maddie
"i loved it" she says
"favourite duet by far" i say and it's time for the group and i'm pretty nervous
Evies costume and hair peice (hair is the same bun)
I really liked this dress, and miss Abby actually bought me and Mackenzie the same dress for us to keep because we wanted them.
we head backstage and Candy apples are up first,
"welcome Candy Apples Dance Centre the storm" the announcer says, their group dance is so bad. how is this a national number, they finish the number and the exit the stage.
"please welcome the last text" the announcer says, we enter the stage and get into our spots i sit on Brookes knee she puts her left arm around my waist and she holds out her right hand for the phone, our music starts and it's with the tapping and snapping and Maddie puts her phone infront of us and we pose and smile for pictures and i take photos with my own phone. our first click happens and i throw myself of Brookes and roll onto the ground and i can feel Kenzie do her handspring diagonal to me, on the second click i lift up and start doing my part, i make sure my acting is on point.
we all slowly die off one by one first Kenzie then Brooke then Chloe then Nia then Kendall
finally it's me and Maddie
she leaps back and goes to Paige while i slowly walk back Maddie takes my hand and we start to run but then i let go and fall to the ground because i died at the last second from impact and Maddie keeps running because she's the only survivor, we hear the crowd cheer after the silence and we get up and exit the stage i hug Maddie so tight

Kenzies category is up first
"in third place energy petite solo goes to entry number 2 black betty diego from age city dance centre" the announcer says
"our second place energy petite solo goes to entry number 31 it's all about me from age city dance centre"
"and our first place top scoring energy petite soloist goes to entry number 52a Killer Bee Mackenzie" I cheer really loud for her, she won a title!
she goes up to get her award
"Mackenzie is also our title winner for miss energy so we would like to crown her now congratulations" i beam for Kenzie, she sits back down and i high five her
"we're going to move on to our energy teen solos"
"and our first place energy teen solo miss energy being crowned for our 2012 here in LA goes too Brooke Hyland" we all cheer for Brooke
she goes up to get her award and crown she takes a bow and sits back down and I hug her when she sits down.
"moving onto our energy junior solo division" the announcer says
"in fourth place goes to never surrender Justice from the Candy Apples Dance Centre" Justice goes up to get his award
"third place goes to telling myself Maddie Ziegler Abby Lee Dance Centre" i clap for Maddie and she gets her award
"and second place junior solo was very very close by a fifth of a point goes to Moonlight Sonata, Evie Ziegler from Abby Lee Dance Centre" i smile and i stand up to get my trophy, a lady hands me my trophy and Maddie hugs me.
"and our first place energy junior solo for our nationals in beverly hills now being crowned miss energy goes to Chloe form the Abby Lee Dance Centre" i cheer loudly for her, i am so proud of Chloe. she stands up and gets her award
"and we're going to crown Chloe miss energy today" after Chloe gets crowned i hug Chloe so so tight she deserves this so muc.
"congratulations Chloe how do you feel on miss energy?"
"really good" Chloe says
"everybody did a wonderful job today" the announcer says, we take a bow and we sit back down and i hug Chloe again
"moving onto our energy junior duet/trios" the announcer says
"our top duet/trio goes to Evie and Maddie with like a sister!" me and Maddie beam and get our award i hug Maddie so tight we take a bow and sit down
"we're going to move on to our energy small group" the announcer says
"in third place the storm from account dance academy"
"in second place goes to troop beverly hills" i hold Maddie and Chloes hand so tight
"and our top scoring national winner for energy junior small group goes to entry number 138 the last text"we all jump up screaming, we all go up to get our award
"what studio are you from?" the announcer asks
"ABBY LEE DANCE COMPANY!!" we all scream.
we head back to the dressing room with our awards in hand and we come in screaming
"congratulations!" mom says
Abby hugs Chloe and Brooke.
"girls congratulations everybody that danced a solo you were outstanding you beat Justice woohoo Brooke you beat all those girls who legs were two feet taller and the group number everybody did what they needed to do everybody was an intrigueal part of it and i thought it was wonderful we did it Justice" Abby says
"has been served" Jill says
"group you made people think congratulations" Abby says
"be proud thank you ladies" Abby says and leaves
"thank you" we all say
