All in the name of protecting me from mythical creatures that I never thought existed. But deep down, I couldn't help but feel a mix of anger, confusion, and frustration.
How could they decide my fate without even asking for my input? It felt like my voice was being silenced, my choices taken away. I understood their concern, their desire to shield me from harm, but it didn't make it any easier to accept. I wanted to have a say in what happened to my family, to our lives.
Restless, I paced back and forth in my room, my mind racing with thoughts of what lay ahead. The brothers believed that distancing ourselves equals safe. But what about my own desires? What about the bond I felt with each of them? It was a tangled mess of emotions, and I couldn't make sense of it all.
Malachi, with his mysterious gaze, had always intrigued me. Mak unwavering protection made me feel secure, like nothing could harm me. Marcus playful nature brought a spark of joy to my life, a lightness that I hadn't felt in ages. And Milo, with his understanding and compassion, seemed to see right into my soul.
But now, with their plan in motion, doubts began to creep in. Were these feelings genuine, or were they a byproduct of the extraordinary situations we had found ourselves in? I yearned for clarity, a chance to understand my own heart before making any decisions. Yet, time seemed to slip through my fingers like grains of sand.
In the depths of the night, I made a silent vow to myself. I would find a way to reclaim control over my own destiny. I needed to untangle the threads of my emotions, to decipher what was real and what was merely a product of circumstance.
I stopped pondering once my mother came in with multiple boxes. She drops them on the floor and glares with a mix of love and sadness on her face.
I stood up from my bed, "What is this for?"
My mother awed me and rubs my shoulder, "We're movi—

"Where is he?"
"Where's who?" My mother's face looks concerning
I rushed out the door and went downstairs. Nobody was down there. "You're not doing this to me!" I yelled out hoping they would hear
"Rhea?"
"She must fell down the steps pretty hard." Rafe said from the steps near my mother.
I turned to look at my Brother and Mother. "Where was boys that were at the hospital?!"
"Who?" They both replied
"It was four of them! They were all tall, they all had tattoos! 2 were twins."
"Rhea, calm down stop yelling— we don't know any males but dad." Rafe said
I turned to look at them both as I was done eyeing my surroundings. I was accepting that it came true— that it wasn't a dream. That they actually did it.
"I know this is hard, I'm happy that we've made it this far but now it's time to leave to a better one."
"There is no better one!"
"I like Freeridge, I want to stay here— please." My eyes and voice lowering.
My mom Sighed before speaking. "Start packing." She walks away.
It was so hard to fucking believe but these boys got me attached. I wasn't suppose to feel this way towards them. They are demons who are selfish with no emotions.

I ran back upstairs in my room and sat on my bed, as I moved my blankets I seen an note.
Dear Sweet Rhea, I'm so sorry for what we've put you through. Meeting you was the biggest mistake but loving you wasn't.
We are sorry that we had to compel you're family to move— to leave for a while. But you knowing about us was danger to everyone.

I woke up to the downstairs being halfway empty, it was starting to look like how it was before— when we first moved in.
As much as I didn't wanna, I still packed.
It was for the best.
I called Carmen and told her the news— of me and my family moving to who knows what. She wasn't very happy it which made me love her even more.
"If you can, try to contact me so we could still be in touch." She spoke on the other end.
"Of course."
"Rafe did you tell your friends goodbye?" Mom asked
"No I just ghosted them."
I rolled my eyes from my brother demeanor, just Typical Rafe.
"Do you have any ideas on where we moving to?" I asked my mother who was finishing up cleaning.
"I don't know— but my mind says Covington, Georgia."
