On your way to the academy you saw Ino walk out of the flower shop. "Morning, Sakura." You gave a small smile. A part of you was still happy to see Ino. "Morning, Ino. Listen I wanted to talk to you about something." "What? Is it that Sasuke's yours, and that I should give up? I hate to break it to you girl but I've been spending a lot of time with him recently." By that Ino means she's been sitting next to him in class and stalking him outside of school. "Besides who would want someone with such a large forehead like you?" Your smile faded as she talked. "Damn. She really said that. It's even worse when you realize that the two of you used to be best friends." The figure mocked slightly, but you could tell that it too was bothered by Ino's words. "I... Never mind." You turned and started walking the other way. Ino stared at you back as you walked away. 'Huh? Where's she going? Hump. Whatever I don't care anyways. It just means that I'll get to the academy first and sit next to Sasuke!' Ino then turned and started walking towards the academy, the idea that she would get to sit by Sasuke completely stomped the feeling of worry she felt for you after seeing how sad you looked when she insulted you.
As Ino walk away you went into an ally and began walking up the wall. You then jumped roof to roof to get to the academy quicker.
At the academy
Shikamaru looked at Naruto in confusion when he saw him. "What the-? Why are you here? Today's meeting is for graduates only." Naruto gave Shikamaru a smug look as he pointed to his forehead protector. "Hey, don't you see this headband? As of today, I'm a Ninja, too!" Shikamaru put a hand on his hip as he listened to Naruto talk. "How can I put it, it really suits me." 'So Naruto... was able to graduate.' Hinata thought as she started at Naruto while blushing. Just then Naruto stopped talking as he saw you come in.

As soon as you opened the door to your class and walked in. Feeling eyes on you turned to look where you felt it coming from, only to see Naruto staring at you with a blush. Smiling you began to walk up to him.

'I still can't get used to how good Sakura looks in her new outfit...' Naruto thought, blushing, as he remembered when he first saw you in your new outfit.
Flashback
As you walked in the classroom you felt everyone stare at you in disbelief or confusion. "Hey! Just what are you wearing?" Ino asked as she stomped over to you. You put on a look of confusion as she talked. "What are you talking about Ino?" "What do you mean! What do I mean? You're wearing a completely different style." "What? Are you jealous that I look so much better than you?" "Tch! As if you looking mature would make Sasuke fall for you." As you and Ino went back and forth Naruto continued to stare at you as if you were the most beautiful woman in the world. 'W-Wow...' Naruto's face sported a deep red blush as he stared. 'I didn't know she could get even more beautiful...'
Present
When you smiled and started walking up to him he blushed even more. 'Sakura's walking towards me!'. "Mor... morning, Sakura-chan!" Naruto said standing up to greet you. You couldn't help but giggle at how he was acting. You knew that Naruto genuinely found Sakura pretty and that knowledge made your eyes soften. Naruto's face, somehow, got even more red at how gently you were looking at him. "Morning, Naruto-kun. Could you just-there." You had moved Naruto out of the way, sat down, and moved Naruto so that now you would be sitting in between Sasuke and Naruto. Just then Ino walked into the room with a smug look on her face. 'Now that Sakura isn't here-WHAT?!" As Ino scanned the room she saw you sitting right next to Sasuke. 'B-But how did she...?' Spotting Ino you gave her a smug smile and tried your best not to laugh when you saw her fuming. Running up to you she slammed her hand on the desk making Naruto flinch. "What do you think you're doing?!" You gave her a confused look. "What do you mean? I'm clearly sitting here talking to Naruto-kun. Sigh. Seriously, Ino. How did you become a ninja with eyesight that bad." You strugled not to laugh at the look Ino gave you.
Just then a girl ran up to your desk. "I wanted to sit next to Sasuke!" This caused a chain reaction of a bunch of other female background character's arguing about who will sit next to Sasuke. 'How annoying.' Sasuke thought at all of the screaming.
Somewhere else
"Is that this year's top rookie, Uchiha Sasuke?" Someone asked looking into a crystal ball that showed him. "Yes." The Hokage answered. "The sole survivor of the Uchiha clan?" A woman with black hair and red eyes asked. "Yes." They all watched as the crystal ball showed them what was happening.
Back in class
"Hey hey hey hey hey!" You yelled getting everyones attention. "I don't get why all of you are arguing when there is clearly no room for anyone else to sit at the desk." This angered the mob even more as not even a second later both Naruto and you got dragged out of your seats and the girls began fighting for the seat next to Sasuke.
All of this arguing over Sasuke pissed Naruto off. So he jumped on the desk Sasuke was sitting on and glared at him. " Naruto! Don't glare at Sasuke!" Some random girl yelled. Naruto glanced back and looked at you, who had stood up from where you were thrown and was now brushing the dirt off of your clothes. 'Sakura-chan...' Naruto thought has he looked at you with concern, before glaring at Sasuke again. 'Everyone's all Sasuke, Sasuke. What's so great about this guy?!' Naruto thought leaning in closer to Sasuke's face. You could practically see lighting between them "Just beat him up, Sasuke!" "Yeah!" "Yeah!" The mob yelled.
Just then a male background character who was sitting in the desk that was in front of Sasuke's leaned back knocking Naruto into Sasuke causing them to kiss shocking everyone. They quickly pulled away from each other. "You jerk... Naruto! I'll kill you!" "My mouth is rotting. What? I feel rage..." Naruto the turned around to see a angry woman mob who were about to kill him for stealing Sasuke's first kiss. "An accident... It was an accident!" Naruto pleaded. But the girls weren't having it and some of them even started to crack their knuckles. "Yikes!"
Somewhere else
"Naruto... He's at the center of trouble as usual." The Hokage said exasperated as they all watched him get beat up.
Back in class
"As of today, you all have become full-fledged Ninjas. However, you're still Genin. The tough part's still to come! From here on, you'll be in a squad of three and carry out your missions under your Jonin teachers." Iruka stated as Naruto was leaning on the desk looking beat up while you, who was sitting next to him, patted his back gently. 'A squad of three?!' Ino thought. "I wonder who will be grouped with Sasuke." Ino, who was sitting behind you, said to you. You turned slightly, and gave her a friendly smile. "Yeah, I wonder." This caused her to look at you with confusion. 'What's she smiling about?' 'Squads of three, eh. It'll just slow me down..' Sasuke thought. 'First will be Sakura. And the other person... can be anyone other than Sasuke!' Naruto thought, thinking about who he would want in his group. "The groups have been determined so that the strength of the groups will be balanced. Now for the assignments!"
"Now then, next is Squad 7. Uzumaki Naruto! Haruno Sakura." "Hooray!" Naruto shouts. "And Uchiha Sasuke!" This made Naruto's mood drop. 'So I'm with Sasuke?' Naruto thought. Hinita looked at Naruto and thought 'So i'll be in a different squad from Naruto, huh...' "Looks like I won." You said as you looked at Ino smugly. Iruka continued "Next is squad eight. Hyuga Hinita! Inuzuka Kiba! Aburame Shino!" "Why is this happening...?" Ino wandered, shaking with how upset she was because she wasn't on a team with Sasuke. "Man... Why do women think that kind of guy's so great?" Shikamaru, who was sitting next to Ino wandered. "Don't you understand, Shikamaru?" "Well, I'm not a woman..." Shikamaru said making Ino sigh. "That's why you are not popular among girls. I wouldn't want to be grouped with you." "Squad ten. Yamanaka Ino. Nara Shikamaru." "It appears we've been grouped together." Shikamaru said with a smirk. "And Akimichi Choji." 'And Fatty on top of that...' Ino thought putting her head in her hands. "That's all for the squad division."
"Iruka Sensei! Why does an exceptional student like me have to be in the same squad with this guy?!" Naruto shouted while pointing a finger at Sasuke. "Well Naruto, Sasuke has the best grades of the graduates and you're at the bottom!" This caused a bunch of people in the class to laugh at Naruto while you looked at him with pity. "Of course, this is how it is when trying to balance the strength within groups." Iruka said. "Just don't get in my way, loser!" Sasuke said to Naruto causing him to get angry. "Hey, what did you say?!" Naruto yelled "You want to fight, loser?" "I'm not a loser!" "In the afternoon, i'll introduce you to your Jonin teachers. You're dismissed until then!" Iruka finished.
"Hey, Naruto-kun and Sasuke-kun! Let's eat together." "No thanks." "Uh?! Hey Sasuke how could you deny a request like that from Sakura-chan!" Naruto shouted. "Tch. And why would I want to eat with either of you?" Your heart clinched at how he was speaking to you. "Well, I just thought that since we're all in the same squad we'd eat together." Sasuke just ignored you and walked away "Tch! How can he be so rude!? Sorry Sakura-chan but I have something to do!" Sighing you left the classroom to find somewhere to eat.
Naruto was on top of a building and looking around before he spot his target.
You were sitting on a concrete bench eating your food. 'Man... I feel so pathetic sitting here eating along.' Glancing up you saw 'Sasuke' leaning against a tree staring at you, smirking. "Huh?" 'Sasuke' started to walk up to you. "You... have a charmingly wide forehead." "Huh?!" 'Sasuke' stopped just in front of you. "It makes me want to kiss it." "Huh?!" 'Sasuke' had a small blush on his cheeks while your face went fully red. "Or that's what Naruto would say." Your shoulders droped as you realized what was going on. 'Sasuke' moved to sit next to you. "I've got something to ask you." "Oh? And what's that?"
You leaned in closer to 'Sasuke' so that your faces were mere inches away from echothers. "W-Well..." 'Sasuke' began to blush even more before clearing his throat. "Hm?" "What do you think...of Naruto?" "Naruto?" You leaned back and looked up at the sky thinking. What did you think of Naruto? On one hand Sakura didn't like him and found him annoying. On the other you knew how much he really cared about her and it made you care for him.
"Well... He's very loud and sometimes abnoxious." 'Sasuke' frowned, looking upset. "But-" 'Sasuke looked at you expectedly. "he's very determined and doesn't give up. And I... admire him for that. His will of fire is something that will never go out and that's what makes him special." "Sakura..." 'I finally know why I... I like Sakura so much.' 'Sasuke' leaned in for a kiss but quickly retracted hold his stomach. 'Diarrhea at a time like this?!' He quickly got up and ran away.
"What's wrong?!" "I-I'll be right back..." You sighed. 'I'm hurt that he thinks he could fool me with that crapy acting.' "I guess even he-shut up.' You quickly interrupted. 'We both know that Naruto thinks his disguise was perfect. It has nothing to do with how he sees me.' The figure sat down next to you, wrapping its arms behind the bench, and crossed its legs. "Don't you think it's a bit funny how you're on a team with someone who's completely infatuated with you, and someone who despises you." "He doesn't despise me." "Sure."
Running into the bathroom Naruto detransformed and sat down. "That was close! My stomach hurt so much that the Justu was about to wear off! Why does my stomach have to hurt at such a good time?!" 'Well at least I know she doesn't hate me like everyone else. Sakura...' Naruto smiled, thinking of what you had said.
"Oh? And look who's here." Turning your head you saw Sasuke walking up to you and your heart started to pick up. "Hello Sasuke-kun. Are you here to eat with me?" However Sasuke just ignored you and kept looking around. "Where's Naruto?" The figure giggled. "You should ask him how he feels about you. You know. To prove who's right." Your grip on the bento box tightened slightly. "Come on Sakura. Prove. Me. Right." A sadistic smile found its way on the figures face. "What do you think about me." "What?" A look of confusion covered his face. "Sasuke-kun... What do you think of me? If you tell me that I'll tell you where Naruto is." "Tch. You're annoying." He answered without hesitation.
Your grip on the bento box tightened even more and tears threatened to spill. It felt like your heart had broke in two. Loud laughter could be heard but you blocked it out. "I see... Naruto went that way." You pointed in the direction Naruto went. Nodding Sasuke quickly took off in that direction ignoring the pang of guilt he felt when he saw your reaction. "Holy shit!" The figure was on the ground clutching its stomach as it laughed, tears were also starting to form with how hard it was laughing. "I knew he was going to be blunt but fucking hell!" After a minute or 2 the figure finally started to calm down. "Well I guess we got are answer. Huh? Sasuke hates you." "No he doesn't." You mumbled softly. "What?!" "He just said he found me annoying..." "Whatever you say Sakura. What ever you say..."
A while later
"Did I eat something bad?" Turning your head you saw Naruto walking towards you. Standing up you yelled "Hey, Naruto-kun!". "Huh?" "Are you alright?" "Sakura-chan..." 'Payback for earlier, huh? Sasuke's turned himself into Sakura...' "You're trying to trick me, right, Sasuke?! I don't think so!" Naruto was about to create some shadow clones but his stomach started to hurt again. "Ow-ow-ow... What the heck is going on?!" Naruto then ran back to the bathroom. You sighed. 'What an idiot.'
Naruto's house
The Hokage and a man were standing in Naruto's kitchen. The man had grey hair, was wearing a mask that covered his nose and mouth, and his forehead protector was worn in a was that it only covered his left eye. "So this is Naruto's room..." The man said looking around. "And Sasuke of the Uchiha clan is also in the squad you'll be in charge of. I'd wish you luck but I don't think you'll be needing it." "Huh? And why is that? The two of them don't get along at all?" "Your third student, Haruno Sakura, I think she'll be able to help you with them." "I see..." The man then picked up a carton of milk that was on the table. 'The expiration date... of this milk passed quite awhile ago...' The man shook it slightly, hearing the sound of milk moving as he shook it. 'He'll get sick if he drinks this. It seems like things are going to get disastrous.'
