Abby's birthday was coming up in a week and i was stressing myself out with planning
I wanna make this very special for her since she's turning 18. Two days after she's leaving for Cancun to spend her and olivia's birthdays.
I really wanted to come, but i have to promote a lot for my album and start planning my tour. I'm very overwhelmed, but all I'm worried about is getting all her gifts on time
"Why are you getting her so much stuff" sev said
"Because she's my best friend, sev?" i rolled my eyes
"All that stuff for a friend? I can't wait till my birthday." he chuckled
I never even thought about his birthday once
"She loves the color pink, you think this is cute for her" i showed him a pj set
"I don't care what you're getting her billie" he said
I huffed
"Way to be a dickhead for no reason" i said quietly
"You know how I feel about her, yet you're still friends with her, even after the bullshit she pulled last monday."
"You're the one who started calling her weird sev."
"Bro i can't do this if you're just gonna take her side all the time"
I just sighed. Seven always wants all my attention, and even though I have other friends like zoe and drew, I think he sees abby as a threat since I'm the closest to her. I love her, but I just hate when he gets mad at me, I've thought about distancing myself from her for a little just haven't got the balls to do it yet.
"Do you guys want something to eat?" my mom asked
"No thanks mom"
"What about you brandon?"
"Nah" he said without looking up from his phone

"Are you excited for Cancun" I asked abby over facetime
"You don't even know, I bought so many bathing suits"

I watched as she went into the camera with a black bathing suit, she looked so good
Abby has always the most perfect body, with the most toned legs and arms

"Yes, she's so funny we honestly became close so quick"

I'm not a jealous friend, I was never jealous over olivia because they've been friends for how long. I never properly met chantel so I'm just worried she wants to get close with abby for the wrong reasons.
But I can't control who she's friends with
"I really wish you were coming b" she said as she laid down in her bed
"I don't know how you're gonna live without me for almost two weeks"
"Shut up, I'll be booked and busy, won't even be thinking about you" I responded
I made a fake crying sound and she laughed
"You should come over and cherish these few days we have left together"
"It's literally 12 am abby"
"So? I miss you"
"Ouu look at you, you got a crush on me or something" I said jokingly
"Never mind, let me text my hoes, see which one wants to come instead"

"I dyed them purple you can just barely see"
"Do green, green is literally your color" she said as she ran her nails through my scalp

"That's honestly fire maybe I'll do it"
She scratched my scalp and I took a cute mirror picture
"Did you tell your mom you're staying the night"
"No, she doesn't care this is like my second home"
"Give me your phone" she held her hand out
"I'm calling finneas cause I don't wanna wake your mom"
She held the phone against her ear and I smiled
It's so cute how much she cares
"Hey finneas, if maggie asks in the morning tell her billie slept over mines that it was just a last minute thing"
"Okay thank you, bye"
"You care so much" I said as I hugged her torso while I was still sitting down
"Girl yea, I'm responsible"
"Matter of fact, does your boyfriend know you're here?" she asked
I looked up at her and folded my lips
"Of course he doesn't" she pulled away from the hug
"Just didn't think to text him, he doesn't need to know where I'm at all the time"
"Billie you text him when you're in the bathroom, this only happens when you come over my house"
"It is what it is I don't care" she said she sat down on the bean bag
I could tell it bothered her, and I see why, but it actually slipped my mind this time

We were in silence for like ten minutes, but I felt like it was too silent
I noticed she had fallen asleep on the bean bag. I went to pick her up and tucked her into bed
"I'm sorry for disappointing you all the time" I said quietly and kissed her head
It's really hard to leave sev, cause I really do love him. Yea he does weird things sometimes, but I think he cares about me a lot.

I woke up and didn't see abby next to me. I heard her on the phone
"I don't know he's just weird and she won't listen to me. I can't control who she dates, but she never acted like this. Whenever she's around him, she changes the way she acts, like I can't along with somebody like him"
"Yea, I say just talk to her about it" liv said
"That's not gonna get me anywhere, honestly I don't care, she can stay with that abusive mf if she wants I tried my best"
I felt tears form in my eyes.
Is that what she really thought? I never really thought sev was abusive and I sure didn't think she disliked him that much
I heard her hang up the phone and pretended to be asleep. I saw her look through her drawers for something to wear since she only had a shirt on
"Oh you're awake" she smiled
She threw herself on me "Come on sleeping beauty, you said you have a meeting at twelve- were you crying" she asked concerned
"No I just woke up, probably rubbed my eyes too hard" I fake smiled and pushed her off me
I started grabbing my things to walk out the door
"No bye or nothing? You don't want to eat?" she said
I shook my head
"Bye abeline" I said as I walked out the door still trying to hold in my tears
When I got inside my car, all I could do was cry. Why does abby say those things about me to her friends? It's my relationship and she has no right to call him abusive. He might be older than me and not communicate all the time, but I thought that was normal.
Abeline's pov:
I found it weird the way billie left without saying anything to me. I was going to text her, but she obviously doesn't wanna talk to me so I'm gonna give her space.

"Have you heard from my sister at all today? I know she slept over yours" he said concerned
"Um no, last time I seen her was when she left my house all upset and shit"
"Why was she upset?" he asked
"I don't know. Wait, why are you asking me if I heard from her?"
"She hasn't been answering me or my mom's calls and we don't know where she is."
Oh my gosh.
"Yea I'll try calling her, I'll let you know" I hung up
What the hell is this girl thinking
I pressed her contact and it rung for at least ten seconds before I heard her answer
"Hello?"
"Billie what the fuck is going on why aren't you answering your brother's calls?" I exclaimed
"I'm literally with sev right now I'm fine, yall mad dramatic" she laughed
"You can still answer the phone. He was worried about you."
"Oh my God why do you care Abeline, leave me alone, go talk shit about me with Olivia" she said and I heard seven laugh in the background
"I wasn't talking shit about you billie, YOUR BOYFRIEND CAN SMD" I said loud enough for him to hear and I hung up
I don't get what she doesn't understand, this is a prime example that he is not good for her mental health. He's literally keeping her from contacting her family.
Billie is eighteen she knows right from wrong at this point. I can't do anything and I'm gonna leave soon anyways. She's the last person I wanna hear from.
