LUKE
After a while, of just sitting there. We decided to return to our cabins.
I walk her to her cabin, before walking into mine.
When I walk into the cabin, everyone's eyes turn to me. I receive the same look of pity from everyone, just as I got 2 years ago, when I miserably failed.
"Where were you?" Travis asks coming up to me with Chris and Connor
"By the beach."
After that they leave me alone. I get ready and go to bed.
That night I fell asleep to the thought of Eloise soft hands caressing my cheek.

"Luke." Someone shouts
I look around and see Silena running up to me.
"Chiron wants to talk to you." She says while putting her hands on her knees to catch her breath
I nod and start walking to the Big House.
There I find Chiron, Mr.D and Eloise sitting at the round table playing cards.
"Ah, Luke you came. Come sit." Chiron says while pointing with his hand at the empty chair next to Eloise
I take a seat, while Mr.D puts cards in front of me.
"I invited the both of you, because Mr.D and I have a request for the two of you." Chiron starts
I look over to Eloise but she looks just as confused as I.
"We stumbled across a little problem. And I need help from the both of you."
"A satyr and a demigod, were on their way here, but got captured. We stopped having contact with them two days ago. We want you to create a strong team, that will be able to destroy the monster that is holding them captured." Chiron adds
"The last time we got a call from the satyr, they were in Seattle."
"So that's where you are going to start."
"Luke you had already had a quest, so we want Eloise to take that quest. But you are going with her and help her pick the team." Mr.D says while putting down a card
"Do you take the quest?" Chiron asks looking at Eloise with a hopeful look
"I do." Eloise says sounding still not fully convinced if she actually means it
"You can consult the Oracle now."
Eloise slowly stands up, and makes her way to the attic.
ELOISE
The stairs squeak under the weight of my foot. I take slow steps, not wanting to get to my destination.
The old door already looks terrifying. I reach for the doorknob and slowly turn it. The attic looks more terrifying than I thought it would.
There's some statues and old artifacts laying around.
I look around and find a mummy standing by the window.
She turns to me and starts speaking.
"I am the spirit of Delphi, speaker of the prophecies of Phoebus Apollo, slayer of the mighty Python. Approach, seeker and ask."
"What is my destiny?" I ask, my voice shaking in the process
"Six kids trying to prove being hero's."
"Failing saving all, and coming as zeros."
"When losing the beauty, the monster arises."
"Making a sacrifice, but the prize will terrorize them."
My mouth is agape, I knew that hearing a prophecy could make you go insane, because of the thoughts. But I never suspected it to be actually a terrifying experience.
I take a few seconds to collect my thoughts, before walking out of that room as fast as I can.
Walking down the last stairs, I can't help but overhear.
"Aphrodite won't be happy with us. She specifically said to not let her favorite daughter go on a quest." Mr.D voice rings in my ears
"I know, but she's perfect for this quest." I recognize Chiron voice
Suddenly, this stupid staircase squeaks. Making me cringe. I finally reveal myself to them.
"What did it say?" Luke asks quickly standing up and walking up to me
I think for a while, trying to remember the exact words.
"Six kids trying to prove being hero's. Failing saving all, and coming as zeros. When losing the beauty the monster arises. Making a sacrifice but the prize will terrorize them." I tell them
They all look shocked and scared.
"What do you mean, failing saving all?" he asks, putting his hands on my shoulder and making me look up to him
"I don't know." My voice shakes
I won't lie, I'm scared. Scared that someone or even I might die in this quest.
"Don't read too much into it." Chiron says
"We want to get a list of people you're taking with on this quest by this evening, you're leaving tomorrow morning." Mr.D says
After Chiron dismisses us, we leave for lunch.
When we get to the Mess Hall, we part ways, but not before making plans to meet after it on the beach.
I walk to my table, and sitting down next to Penelope, across Silena and Brody.
"What did Chiron want from you?" Brody asks
"I got a quest alongside Luke and other people that I need to choose."
All their spoons fall into the soup and their jaw drops.
I explain everything that Chiron told me.

The sun is still shining when I arrive at the beach. I can already see Luke sitting on a blanket with a notebook in his hand.
"Hi." I say, he can say that from my voice I'm tired
"Hey."
I sit down next to him. The red picnic blanket is pretty comfortable. I watch all the other kids, making their way to the activities.
"You know more people that are good at fighting. Who do you think we should take?" I ask
"I think we should take Annabeth, she's really good and been waiting for a quest for a long time."
"Sure, Annabeth is also really smart. She will be helpful."
With that he writes her name down on the piece of paper.
"I think we should take Clarisse, she's really good and she's been working hard for a quest."
"Yeah, sure."
The next name is being written.
"We should take a satyr, he will help us find the demigod." I say
"That's a good idea."
"But which one?" I ask
"Maybe Grover?"
"Totally."
Next name.
"We should take Percy." He recommends
"But he just came to camp."
"Yes, but he's good and he has potential."
"Okay, so the people we take, are Clarisse, Annabeth, Grover and Percy."
"Perfect."
"Okay, we should tell Chiron who we choose." I say
He agrees and we make our way to the Big House.
