The kids were talking and laughing as Anna was having a hard time teaching, she wouldn't Lie to teaching in a school to be the hardest job as the kids would always outtalk you or crack a joke making the entire class burst into laughter. Having enough of it slamming her fist onto the table she said "The next person that talks will write a 500-word essay about plants and get detention for a week!" Everyone drop-dead silence as Anna turned to the broad. "Back to plants we have-". A paper plane hit the back of her head. She turned around "Who did that?" she asked. everyone pointed at Gene who said," This class is boring nothing new ever happens it's just plants this, plants that!"
Anna took a deep breath not wanting to burst of anger. Just then a student came in " Come quick! Mr. Zane's on the fritz!"
"W-what," Anna said before she rushed to Zane's classroom.
"How do you turn this thing off?" Cole asked with a bit of annoyance in his voice as he tried to put an end to this.
"What happened?" Anna asked
"Brad got an ultra remote from New Ninjago City and it's controlling Mr. Zane," Sally explained. Anna looked at Zane and then walked over to Cole. Cole smashed the remote making Zane stop.
"Mr. Cole is the worst," Brad complained.
"I heard that." Cole said the school bell rang and the kids ran out, bumping Cole out of the Way "Unh! Ah, recess. My favorite time."
Anna mutters to herself "I'm not even legally qualified for this"

Jay opened the freezer but did not find what he wanted. "All right! Who took my pudding cup? My name was clearly written on it!"
Cole is eating a pudding cup which is Jay's "I didn't see "Motor Mouth" on it."
"I'm telling the headmaster," Jay said before turning to Wu's office
"Jay, don't, I've already heard enough complaining today," Anna said
"Justice has to be served!" Jay snapped and Wu came out of his office "Leave me out of it. I'm on break, too."
"Relax, Jay, you can have mine," Kai says before tossing his cup to Jay.
"But this isn't cold" Jay wined. Zane flips a switch in his arm and freezes the cup "Thanks!" Jay said before eating it.
"I never thought teaching was this hard" Kai scoffed
Anna then said "And to make it hard, Jay now formed a stupid prank alliance with the students!"
"Hey, hey, hey! Its not stupid!" Jay defended
"How come, Everyone day I always have a bucket of COLD water waiting for me at my door" Cole asked feeling annoyed
Anna sighed as she opened her bento she was hungry but didn't want to eat.
Silence filled the room till Jay changes the subject "Is anyone else chapped that Lloyd gets to be the Golden Ninja and fly around accepting awards while we're stuck here being teachers with no powers? Ah. I miss our elemental weapons."
"He must feel so proud and happy with him to be surrounded by paparazzi 24/7" Anna said almost sounding jealous.
Nya runs in the the door and slammed it, waking over to them she asked " Why is that when I teach, I get the feeling that none of the boys are listening?"
"Hi, Miss Nya. I saved you some pudding." Jay said
"What did we talk about?" Nya asked and put a hand on her hip
"Oh, right. Boundaries." Jay said.
"Hey, did you guys hear the news?" Nya asked
Everyone but Wu and Anna leaped with excitement
"There's trouble?"
"Danger?"
"An emergency?"
"Oh, a new menace?"
Anna stood up "Lloyd?"
"No. We got clearance for a field trip" Nya said
All of them Groans and Anna sat back down
"Not just any field trip. A field trip to tour Borg Industries" Nya added
"Ah! Not the Borg Industries. As in home to super genius reclusive savant Cyrus Borg? Inventor of the hover car and everything else cool in this world?" Jay asked with excitement but Groans after Zane kicks him.
Kai walked over to the teapot say "Who cares about Cyrus Borg? If you ask me, people should concern themselves with the lessons of the past. Not waste their time on the disposable fads of tomorrow when—"
He sees everyone is out of he room and Anna is that the door "Are you coming or not" she said before leaving. Kai sighs
The ninja, Wu, and their students are all outside, in the school bus.
"Why can't we take Ultra Dragon? Or the Ultra Sonic Raider?" Brad complained
"Because we can't all fit" Anna said with a bit of annoyance
"Or Because they don't have one of these. Pretty cool, huh? I'm on a microphone. I am the MC. The Mighty Cole." Cole said on the microphone.
"Mr. Cole is the worst" Brad said
"I heard that" Cole snapped back. he folded his arms and sit on a bus seat.
"So we really are going back to the city. We haven't been there since—well, you know." Kai said
"Since the destruction of the Overlord and The finale Battle. its not a crime saying it.." Anna said
"Yea." Kai rolls his eyes and looks out the window
"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We only have today. Or else this offer expires. Get a move on, Nya". Wu orders
"Aye, aye, Sensei" Nya replies.
Cyrus is on TV saying "Welcome to New Ninjago City. The future is what we make it."
The ninja are driving through the New Ninjago City
Driving the bus Nya said "You leave town a short while and—Ahh!" The bus crashes into a postman car.
"Ugh! Who here still uses wheels anymore? Get with the program!" The postman criticized
"Don't worry, we'll free you up. Time for some old-school muscle tool." Cole walks out of the bus and lifts the postman's van, freeing him from the bus.
"Stand back, pedestrian." A robot said
Anna tilts her head sideways "Since when did Ninjago let Robots control traffic?"
"Since Technology took over Ninjago" Kai scoffed
"Who are you calling pedestrian?" Cole asked a bit offended
"It appears our help is not welcome," Zane said
"Well, I prefer traveling the old-fashioned way—on foot. Besides, it's not like we can't find where we're going" Wu said before walking out of the bus.
Everyone walked to the entrance of the Brog tower
"This is one big tower," Jay says looking up
"Tell me about," Anna said. Cole slightly bumped her arm "You okay" He asked.
"Yea Just getting some Deja vu feeling but that will sought itself out." Anna replies
They walked into the tower but Kai is repeatedly squished by the automatic doors in Borg Tower.
A nindroid came down from the stairs and She said " Welcome to Borg Industries. I'm P.I.X.A.L., Cyrus' Primary Interactive X-ternal Assistant Life-form. I'm sorry to hear about the traffic accident."
"Wow, news travels fast" Cole exclaimed
"Everything in New Ninjago City is fully automated and interconnected. Your antiquated bus should be ready shortly. You are Zane, a droid like me. What does Zane stand for?" PIXAL. asked
"I stand for peace, freedom, and courage in the face of all who threaten Ninjago" Zane said
"She means your name, tin head" Jay cuts in.
Zane rubs the back of his neck "I guess I'm just Zane.."
P.I.X.A.L. asked "Permission to scan?"
"Uh... Permission granted?" Zane answers and P.I.X.A.L scans him
"Your hardware is outdated and your processor is slow and incompatible with ours. Peculiar. All droids must recharge our batteries, yet curiously. I'm unable to locate your energy source. What powers you?" P.I.X.A.L questions.
Zane frowned "I don't know"
"Mr. Borg would like to see the ninja on the 100th floor. If the others would follow me for the rest of the tour." P.I.X.A.L said. The ninja went to the elevator and the other students, Nya and Wu follow P.I.X.A.L
Kai is finally free from the door "Seriously?" He goes after the ninja who are in the elevator. "Where were you?" Anna asked
"Stuck in the door" Kai answered
"Looks like Zane just zoned out" Cole said
"Zane! you with us? " Jay calls out and Zane catches up with them.
Computer: Black Ninja, Blue Ninja, Pink ninja, Red Ninja, White Ninja. Golden Ninja not identified. Wait for action.
"Weren't all of us supposed to come?" Cole asked
"And by 'all of us' Lloyd's include..." Kai says
"As usual he's falling across Ninjago ...and has no time for me.." Anna looks down
"Hmm 'No time for me?" Jay teased and Anna snapped out of her glazing session with the floor.
"I mean this.. not me..uh this" Anna tries to fix her sentence "Can we change subject"
Meanwhile with the students P.I.X.A.L brings them to a room filled with different VR video games and giant display screens "Mr. Borg believes technology is the key to making our dreams come true." She said
Each Student got their Jaw dropped.
"Whoa! Cool beyond cool" Brad said
" Awesome." Another students said.
"Uber-mega. I'm, like, wow!" Brad exclaimed
The other students are chattering about this
"Even now, he is working on a Digiverse where the gamer will be digitally scanned in to take gaming to another level." P.I.X.A.L. said
"Whoa! They have a Perfect Match console." Sally pointed out.
"What's Perfect Match?" Nya asked
"It's the latest craze. If finds your perfect partner with flawless results. You should try it, Miss Nya" All of the girl came mostly because boy wouldn't be interested in this
Nya steps on the machine. "I doubt a machine could know someone's—"
Computer: Hello, Nya. You are an independent, self-confident young woman who refuses to be in a boys' club. Analyzing match now.
"Of course it's gonna be Mr. Jay" Marla said
To their surprise a hologram of Cole appears and all of them got Jaw dropped again
"Drama" Sally echoed.
The ninja arrive at the 100th floor.
"I would've guessed ninja to sneak in a window, not use the elevator"
"Ah! Oh, my gosh. Are you—? Are you—?" Jay asked but he wouldn't finish he's sentence.
"Cyrus Borg? Yes. Unfortunately, when my parents gave me a name like that, my future in technology was predetermined." Cyrus answered and Jay
"Ah, yes, these. Sadly, I've been disabled all my life. But it's nothing my mind couldn't fix. Speaking of which, my deepest condolences, Zane. I heard about your father. Oh, he was a brilliant mind. He would have fit right in." Cyrus walked over to Zane.
"Thank you. But loss is inevitable."Zane says
"Isn't this the same place the Overlord was destroyed? Who dreamed up the idea of building a corporate headquarters here?" Kai said
"Ah, what better way to send a message to evil that we won't cower to anyone. I see. Or better yet, I don't see the Golden Ninja."
Anna pinched her elbow but Cole answered "Oh, his hands are a bit full, but we can tell him to stop by when we see him."
"No, no, no. I'm glad it's just you four. I wanted to give you a gift.
Cole said "A gift? Won't say no to that. It wouldn't happen to be cake, would it?". Cyrus unveils the statue
Cyrus: (On recording) The future is what we make it.
"Ha. So no cake." Cole's smile faded
"Oh, wow. A statue. Of yourself." Kai said unamused
"I know. How cool is that?" Jay leaped.
Cyrus Whispers to Kai "Please, protect them with your life. All of Ninjago depends on it."
"Protect? Protect what?" Kai asked
"You were right, I should never have built here. You must go. He's listening." Cyrus admitted
Cyrus walked back to his desk "Uh, I'm sorry to cut this short, but there's things to invent. I hope you can show yourselves out."
"That was....suspicious" Anna said
The ninja except Anna lift up the statue."Ah, okay. Of course. A little help?" Cole asked referring to Kai.
"Oh, yeah." He helps carry it as well.
"Guys, something weird is up with Borg." Kai said
"They're called artificial limbs, Kai. I know you hate machines, but you don't have to be rude.
"I mean he was acting suspicious."
"Like he was scared" Anna offered
"He said we had to protect "them" with our lives." Kai said
Anna freezes upon hear this "Protect what with our lives?" She asked, she didn't really hear Cyrus say that
"I don't know, but—" Kai turns around to se the elevator door closed and because of that The statue falls and breaks
" Ahh!"
"Oh, great, now look what you've done." Jay whined
"Me? Anna wasn't even holding it!" Kai complained
"Stop arguing" Anna bent down with Zane to examine it
"It's hollow. There's something inside." Zane picked up a ninja suit.
"Huh. Why would he give us new ninja outfits? Guys, hate to admit it, but maybe Kai is onto something." Cole said
"And what exactly are these?" Kai picks up a weapon
Computer: Techno Blades located. Apprehend. Will the assailants please stand down and drop the Techno Blades?
"Assailants?!" Anna asked
"First you call us pedestrians, and now we're assailants?" Jay said
Zane tries to press the buttons "Nothing works. Perhaps a malfunction?"
"I don't think " malfunction" call people assailants" Anna says
"Guys, these must be the Techno Blades. We have to protect them with our lives." Kai looks at the blades
Computer: Have it your way. Goodbye. (The elevator begins to drop, hurtling the ninja to the top of the elevator)
"Let the elevator have the Techno Blades, Kai! I think it's made its point!" Jay cried
"We have to get off this thing!" Cole said
"Quick, Kai over there!" Anna points at the elevator hatch.
"Going up?" Kai breaks the top of the elevator
The ninja jump out
"There!" Zane said. They jump on another passing elevator.
"Ah, I'm bored." A Security man said
"Really? Well, me too actually." The other security man said. The elevator crashes and explodes behind them.
All of the ninja are on the top of the other elevator, Panting
"Looks like we just quit our day jobs" Cole handed them the ninja suits
"Oh, my gosh! Our students!"
P.I.X.A.L. brings them to the factory line "And this factory line where" Ared alarm goes on and P.I.X.A.L's eyes turn red. "This is will be the end of your tour.
"Stay back and stay together" Nya ordered as he and Wu frought the meahines
"This way. There's a way out!" Brad pointed at the window
Following Brad's orders the students break formation.
"No! Do not break formation!" Nya cried "Why don't boys ever listen to me?"She Grunts as she kicks off a robot that is trying to harm the students.
The ninja jumped out of an elevator, now with their new gi and Techno Blades but Anna didn't have one.
"Guess there's No Techno Blade for me," Anna said to herself
Heh. I gotta say it. I love the new threads." Jay said
Three robots show up but their light where red
"Oh, yeah? Two can play at this game!" Kai tries to activate his blade but nothing happens "What's with these things? How do we turn them on?"
"Here, let me try" He smacks the wall with his blade "It's not sharp. Why even call it a Blade?"A robot fires at the ninja but misses and hits the window behind them instead.
"Ah, sh-" Anna gulped before the force of the window pulled her and her teammates outside the building, but Cole managed to grab a rope and the others held on to him.
"Grab on! Ready to crash the party, boys?" Cole joked and They hit a window but it didn't break, instead, they slide off and fell.
Fortunately for them. They get stopped by an aerial work platform, but fall face-flat.
"That was close," Anna said panting
"Too close' Jay agreed. The window cleaning robot throws the window cleaner at Jay "Ow!" Jay cried. Anna kicked the robot off mostly because their eyes turned red.
"You fool. You tried to give them the only thing that could defeat me and thought I wouldn't notice? I'd get rid of you if I didn't still need you. Don't think to ever betray me again." The Overlord said on the computer
"Of course not, I promise. I promise!" Cyrus pleaded
"A promise isn't good enough" The Overlord snarled and He took control Cyrus's robot legs which made him back up as four robotic arms grabbed a hold of him and put on robotic components on Cyrus.
"No! No! Don't. Let me go! No, please, no more!"
The ninja are slowly lowering the platform by using the rope
"And that's when Borg said he was listening." Kai finished explaining what happened when he was in Cyrus's office.
"Do you really think it's the Overlord?" Jay asked
"That must be what Cyrus was implying" Anna stated
"But how? We all saw Lloyd defeat him." Cole said "Defeat, yes. But can he be destroyed?" Zane questions. At the moment a Hover-Copter pulls up to them.
"I don't know, but we can." Jay cried
"Guys, we got company," Anna said
"Cole, throw me," Zane ordered and everyone looked at him with confusion and shock.
"Excuse me?" Cole asked
"Throw me!" Zane ordered again and Cole Zane landed on the Hover-Copter, he uses the Techno Blade to hack the copter.
"What just happened?" Kai asked
"The Techno Blade must've hacked the tower-copter's system! Zane controls it!" Jay explains
"Cool!" Anna said
Meanwhile
"Run! Jump and kick!" Nya commanded as She guides the students and Wu through the robots.
"Everyone gets to the window." Wi instructed
The students jump but The conveyor belt they're standing on is taking them through a garbage incinerator.
"Worst trip ever!" Brad cried
"How do we stop it?" Nya asked
The ninja pull up on the NinjaCopter, carrying the aerial work platform with them
"We need to get everyone to the bus. I have an idea."Anna said
"Come on, kids. Jump on board."
P.I.X.A.L. Grabs Nya's leg before she can join the others."This will be the end of your tour." Nya kicks P.I.X.A.L. and runs.
Nya jumps on the NinjaCopter. "Come on, she's one of them. We have to go!" Zane nodded in agreement and took them to the bus, Nya, and the students get inside.
"Get to the academy as fast as you can, sis. We need the Golden Ninja." Kai said
"What about you guys?" Nya asked. "We have to protect the people" Anna responded. She saw a traffic light alternates between green and red before turning red and attacking a pedestrian. To make it worse a security mech tries to tip over the school bus.) "AH! The bus!" Jay cried.
"I'm on it. Ninja, go!" Cole uses Spinjitzu to jump over the bus and pull out the power chords on the mech "No one calls me pedestrian!".
"I always said Mr. Cole was my favorite." Brad proclaimed and Sally raised an eyebrow. Brad chuckled . Nya drove the bus back to the School.
Kai turned to the others "Alright, so these Techno Blades can hack into their systems."
"So, what do you say we do a little hack-attack?" Jay said
"Zane, Kai, you take to the skies. I want Cole and Jay on the ground. And Me and Anna will do what we can for the people." Wu spelled out. They nodded in agreement.
"Ninja, go!"
Zane takes Kai on his hoper while Jay and Cole find their vehicles.
"You take the right and I'll go left" Anna said, Wu nodded in agreement and both, went their ways.
Anna shoot her powers at any robot. She couldn't tell which one was corrupted and which one was not but didn't have time for that. A security mech breaks a street light and there was a little girl in the way. "Lucy! MOVE, Run!!!" The girl's mother shouted. Using magic she levitated the pole and threw it on the security mech. "Ninja!" The little girl shouted pointing at Anna but before she could respond she heard Kai on her earpiece."We have to get the Techno Blades out of the city."
"But what about Sensei and Anna? We can't leave without him." Zane said
"There! I'll pick Wu up and meet you guys at the intersection of Wilfert and Fleming" Kai said the others rushed to the meeting place. But they were so many security mechs there"
" Were gonna have a problem here" Anna said as she dodges the attacks of the security mechs. Kai had the same problem Security mechs fire at him "I can't find a place to land". Wu jumps over a security mech and hits a fire hydrant, using the blast of water to launch him upward so that he can grab on to the Kai Fighter and the ninja meet up as more security mechs surround them.
"There's too many! We'll never get out!" Cole yelled. "Keep fighting. They'll have to run out of batteries at some point." Kai encouraged. "I don' think these are charged by 1.5v batteries" Anna said. "Well I didn't see a single changing station here!" Jay cried.
Anna bites her lip as robots surround them. Then a bright gold light appeared from the skies. "What's that?" Anna asked covering her face from the bright.
"It appears to be-" Zane said and the light made all the Robots purified. Lloyd jumped down from his golden dragon. "Lloyd!" Kai shouted.
"Robots versus ninja? Heh. Dare I ask?" Lloyd said
"Your back!" Anna said excitedly but could notice Jay's snickering.
"You are a sight for sore eyes." Kai remarked.
"So you couldn't help yourself. The Golden Ninja, we meet again" The Overlord said on the TV.
"Overlord. I defeated you once, I'll defeat you again" Lloyd said sharply.
"Oh, I don't want to fight. I just want your power. The mechs absorb Lloyd's power and go after the ninja, Lloyd tries to fight them but Wu stops him "No, Lloyd, your power is only making them stronger.".
"But how do we fight?" Lloyd asked, "We don't. We need to get you and the Techno Blades out of the city." Kai uttered. "I don't think he'll let us leave" Cole stated.
"I have an idea, but I don't have much time to explain. Listen close" Wu declared and They huddle as he tells them the plan.
"Cole and Jay both of you go south flee the city, Kai when it's 8:00 pm sharp I want you to meet at Mashiki street, Lloyd you take Anna and the golden dragon out the city with Zane and go west, once i made the symbol Cole and Jay will go around Ninjago city and follow you, In three...two....one.
"Ninja, go!" They use spinjitzu to reach their respective vehicles, Lloyd manifests his golden dragon and Anna gets on.
"I really don't like this plan" Anna complained. "It's our only choice lets hope it works" Kai said, "At a 4.2 percent chance of success, I'd say our hope is slim." Zane calculated ."That's why it's called hope, Zane." Jay explained
"The Techno Blades, find them!" The Overlord roared
Computer: Searching for Techno Blades.
Meanwhile, Jay and Cole are fleeing the city, "Cole, jump on!" Jay shouted and Cole jumps on the thunder raider, and used the jets on his mech to help the thunder raider gain speed.
Computer: (It scans a rolled up cloth Wu is holding.) Techno Blades, 92 percent confirmation.
"Sensei. The Sensei has them" The overlord growled
Wu runs away. When he realizes he is surrounded by Hover-Copters he reveals that there was nothing in the cloth.
"No, No! No! Where are the Blades?" The Overlord rewinds the footage and realizes Wu gave the blades to Kai who passed under him "That old fool will pay dearly!"
Meanwhile the ninja are driving away from the city
"We have to go back for him" Lloyd exclaimed
"We will, but only when you are safe," Kai said
"He wants these weapons, and for some reason, he also wants you. Remember, this was Sensei's plan. They can't break him" Cole says, "Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has yet to come. We need to worry about today" Zane quoted.
"You said it, Zane." Jay agreed. "We will come back to New Ninjago City. And when we do we'll be ready." Anna said. "But for now, we find some place safe to hide. They'll be looking for us." Kai aided the other and nodded in agreement. Leaning forward, Anna wrapped her arms around Lloyd's waist to keep herself from falling off. Lloyd got flustered. "What is it?" Anna asked. "N-nothing."
"Hey Lloyd do you think the Overlord is really back" Anna questions. "Well we all saw him on the screen but ....." Lloyd responded but couldn't find the words. Anna looked down to see the desert they are flying over. "I hope Wu will be okay till we come back" Lloyd took a deep breathe before saying "Uhh speaking of....when we come back and once we have dealt with this......will you go out with me?" Lloyd asked. "Like a date?" Anna offered. "Kinda like a um" Lloyd was finding it hard to confess. "Sure" Anna said before leaning forward and resting on his back.
P.I.X.A.L is uploading the schematics she scanned from Zane into a computer. She replaces his arms and head then finishes uploading "Upgrade complete." The factory immediately begins working as the Nindroids are made.
