"I haven't been here since we started jujutsu tech" Megumi noted as the two made their way through the Gojo clan gate and into the estate
"Really? I was around not too long ago" Shiori hummed, taking off her jacket only for a maid to take it out of her hand
"Yume I told you that you don't need to take my stuff when I arrive" Shiori frowned, talking to her second oldest cousin who'd been unfortunate enough to land a position of a worker in their clan
"It's fine lady Shiori, please, let me take you stuff"
"Now you're calling me lady? I'm six years younger than you" She reminded her, Yume letting out a small laugh
"That is my job Shiori" She shrugged
"Well if you need help, just call me and I'll be there" Shiori reassured her
"Thank you Shiori" Yume said, giving her cousin a small but warm hug, the house of hooves clacking catching her and megumis attention
"Shiori there you are!" Sayuri smile and she jumped off of her hourse, Noritoshi who was riding aswell, telling her to be careful as he got off of his
"Wow and you brought megumi" She giggled, the zenins ears turning pink at her obvious acknowledgment of his crush on Shiori
"You brought Noritoshi" Shiori replied, staring at the Kamo who gave her an awkward wave, he was slightly scared of her whenever he was around her
"That's because I wasn't sure whether or not you were coming! And I didn't want to be alone" Sayuri frowned
"Why didn't you just text me to ask if I was there?" Shiori replied
"Oh yeah!" Sayuri gasped, a playful smile spreading across her face
"Slipped my mind"
"What doesn't slip your mind" Noritoshi sighed, Shiori giving him a questioning look before her sisters smile grew
"I actually have a great memory when it comes to academics" She reminded him "its just the simple stuff that I forget"
"That's why I got you that book to write down your shopping list in" Shiori spoke
"Oh yeah! And when we had our Harry Potter phase Megumi bought me a remembrall for my birthday"
"And you actually believed it worked" Megumi scoffed
"I was eight" Sayuri shrugged, Shiori letting out a small laugh
"Shiori how I love hearing you laugh, to me it's like how an explorer must feel finding a rare species that many thought had gone extinct" Sayuri grinned
"You and Satoru smile enough for me" Shiori spoke
"You can never smile enough!" Sayuri gasped
"Sure" Shiori sighed, giving her sister a small smile as compensation which made her ecstatic, her smile only growing as she conversed with Noritoshi
"If they carry on like that our parents will set up an arranged marriage for them" Shiori murmured, just about loud enough for Megumi to hear
"But they seem to be more than friendly with one another, would that not be a good thing?" he asked
"Yes but.." Shiori frowned, megumis mind racing
"Did she like noritoshi??"
"Sayuris had her eyes set on him since day one and he's not even all that" Shiori whispered in megumis ear causing the zenin to breathe out a sigh of relief
"I wouldn't want her to become acquainted and form more positive relationships with moody men"
"You sound like the eldest sister" Megumi staged, Shiori letting out an amused hum
"Well then what about you Shiori?"
"What do you mean?"
"What type of man would you be looking for in a long term relationship?"
"Oh" Shiori blinked, taking a moment to think it over
"I don't know that many guys like that" She noted "but, a man like you" She then stated
"Like me?"
"Yes, I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life with you at all" Shiori nodded "you're fun to be around, you bring a sense of peace into my life and you're handsome"
"I'm handsome?"
"Don't push it" Shiori sighed, megumi swore he could see the faintest smile on her face
"I wouldn't mind either" Megumi shrugged, hoping she wouldn't see through his attempt to be nonchalant or the way the moved slightly closer to her
"That's good to hear" she spoke, a content smile plastered on her face that slightly grew at the sight of her mother
"Sayuri, Shiori! You two are finally here" Their mother smiled, getting of from her seat and going to greet her daughters
The Gojo siblings mother was a beautiful woman with long dark wavy hair that fell down to her chest, she was beautiful
And their father, satoru was the spitting image of him
"Hello mum" Shiori smiled, Sayuri giving their mother a huge hug, pulling Shiori into it
"My! And you brought Noritoshi Kamo and Megumi Zenin" their mother smiled, she loved those two so did their father. Not because of their personalities, rather the fact they both held their clans prized cursed techniques and would become the next heads
"Fushiguro mum" Shiori sighed, knowing it would be a long name
"Ah, a zenin is a zenin. You can tell by that grumpy look on their faces" Her father spoke, coming up behind the twins and placing a hand on each of their shoulders, both of their smiles fading
"Hey dad" Shiori spoke, Sayuri flashing their old man a polite smile. "So, where's satoru?"
"He's abroad right now sir" Megumi answered, Noritoshi conversing with the twins mother
"Hm, and he didn't think to tell me" The man grumbled, going back inside
"Darling we heard your classmate died recently, my condolences you two" Shioris mother frowned, taking megumi and shirori hands
"I thought you'd be happy to hear that" Shiori blinked, megumi giving the two Gojo women puzzled looks
"Wait who died??" Sayuri said in a panicked tone
"Why would I be happy to hear a child die? Because he was sukunas vessel?" Her mother frowned
"He was still a person, I wish the higher ups weren't so uptight" She sighed, shioris face softening
"I forget you're not as ridged as dad sometimes mum" She said with a small smile
"Your fathers just from a different time, and with satorus birth his egos feeling a bit damaged" She whispered, Shiori slightly laughed
"Itadori??" Sayuri shrieked, megumi having filled her in "I really liked him" She frowned, Noritoshi giving her a questioning look
"What's that look for?" Shiori asked him, her mothers having gone inside to fetch her and sayuri something
"With all due respect Shiori, your classmate was merely a vessle that needed to go" Noritoshi said in a calm tone, Sayuri smacking her palm over her face in disappointment
"We talked about this" She said, kicking the Kamo in his leg "itadori was a nice guy, and you can't say that infront of his friends!"
"Kamo what are you saying?" Megumi frowned
"I'm only speaking my mind, everyone else believes it"
"Noritoshi is simple minded and follows whatever the clan elders believe, you can't blame him for his inconsiderateness" Shiori stated earning a snicker from Sayuri
"Nori you need to loosen up, satoru is the clan head and he's far more relaxed than you, even megumi here is" Sayuri smiled, linking arms with Shiori and making her way into her parents estate
"I don't understand what you see in him sometimes" Shiori muttered
"What do you see in megumi?"
"Huh??"
"Shiroi have you not acknowledged your own feelings yet?" Sayuri gasped, the two males a few meters back wondering what was causing a commotion between the two sisters
"Sayuri what do you mean?" Shiori blinked
"I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life with you at all megumi" Sayuri mocked
"You even called him handsome!"
"Is it a crime to appreciate one's beauty?" Shiori questioned "megumi and I aren't like that, but if I had to marry someone it would be him"
"You've confirmed my suspicions!" Sayuri grinned
"How??"
"Oh Shiori I'm quite perceptive, maybe not as much as satoru but still" Sayuri winked "and your little crush on that zenin boy had been bubbling since you met him"
"You don't know what you're talking about" Shiori scoffed, lightly pushing her sister
"Oh but I do don't I?? Or else you wouldn't be blushing right now" Sayuri giggled, handing her sister a small mirror
"Oh.." Shiori said with a mortified expression, turning to look at megumi for a split second who's eyes had been locked in her back the entire time
Once he realised he had been caught, he quickly averted his gaze back to Noritoshi
"Oh my.." Shiori said in a hushed voice
"Your face is even redder!!" Sayuri laughed, shuffling in her bag for her phone to take a picture
"I need to show Satoru" She stated, and an impish grin spread across her face, Shiori ran towards the entrance of their house
"Come back!!" Sayuri yelled
"What's up with them?" Noritoshi asked, tilting his head to the side in confusion
Megumi simply shrugged "Who knows"
