sighing while checking your phone, finding out that your mom was home early and preparing dinner now,
you went to cross the paths and then...
well you reached the other side of course, you finally reached home after a long walk for the sake of exercise and saving money
"Happy birthday dear! your 18 now!", your mom said in a warm voice, surprising your with vanilla cake with a candle lit on top
"heh... thank you mom, for everything..", a tear fell off your eye before you pulled your mom into an embrace
"your the best...", you said in a muffled voice said you guys were still hugging as your mom gave a pat on the back in response
"I made your favourite today!! it's still getting ready though, take a rest for a bit dear", you nodded before climbing upstairs, up to your room
plopping onto your bed, you let out a sigh before turning to the photoframe where you were smiling beside your now ex
You didn't even get into any action which made it even more frustrating, the only moment that was probably made was when you guys were in a phone for 16 minutes
'urgh...everything sucks over here...why am i even here...mom made it better though...', your eye lids started feeling heavy before you started to fall into slumber...

"Are you alright dear?", a black haired woman with warm golden orbs asked you as she looked quite concerned
'Im alright-', you could only mouth the words while your thoughts completed it instead, though you were completely puzzled that your voice won't come out... must be a dream..
"Mom im back! I brought the herbs that you asked for." a guy who looked a bit younger but around your age, he was a bit tanned with eyes same as the lady infront of you with a lavender shade of hair colour
As you were checking your surroundings, you felt the gaze of the guy earlier on you now
"ah, your awake now! are you feeling better? you were covered in alot of wounds back in that cave!",
you tried to speak but you only let out nothing as your vocal cords clearly weren't doing thier job...or probably because your in a dream...
And now that you gained your consciousness, your upper body was practically covered on bandages...
you smiled at them while pointing to yourself and pulling out a okay sign before pointing to your neck, specifically pointing to the location lf your vocal cords and giving out a nothing sign as they let out a 'ohh' and nodded

"well then dear, do you have anywhere to stay?", i looked around a bit and this was DEFINITELY not even near around the place im in, it felt like a...whole different world..
now this...kinda felt nice to even just think of...I'm.. in a dream where you can actually look around and interact with some people! im so excited!!!
I shook my head as the lady smiled warmly towards me...reminds me of mom...
"well then...do you remember anything?", i shook my head..wait why did i shake my hea...d...huh...how did this... happen again?...
"Oh my...you don't seem like you remember much about what happened.. must've been a really bad accident...", the lady sighed
".......", i tried to speak even more before i gave up, scratching the back of my head as i turned to the lady and grabbed on her hands that were joined with mine before i smiled at her, a smile of thank you to her since i couldn't say it directly
"aw.. that's really cute little lady~" , she chuckled before she got up
"i make you some food so you feel better later on and heal off slowly", i nodded as i turned to the boy before, he seemed to be doing a small task before entering the hut again
"here's some pear for you! im sure they help with your recovery", the boy came slowly towards me before i smiled in a form of thank you
"oh.. you can't talk right?...have you been like this for a long time?", i shook my head before i felt a hand of mine lifted by a pair of hands, turning to him as he gave a warm gentle smile now
"Don't worry, with me around, no one can hurt you now", it was the most cheesiest line I ever heard before letting out a laugh,
well...not a sound came out but my expression from it was quite visible as the boy seemed confused before laughing (audibly) aswell
Now that I felt more comfortable now, I turned back to the lavender haired boy, since I learnt a bit of sign language, I asked what his name was in sign but to only received a blank look before sighing (inaudibly)
taking other another method, pointing at his head and turned visibly to my wrist area where I made a imitation of writing something
"Oh, your asking my name?, name's Sinbad! and the one who took care of you is my mother", i nodded before i turned to hand and wrote letter by letter...how did i get to know this language again...
realising that they spoke a completely different language...but... it's as if i understand it all completely...
"Y/n? That's a pretty name for a beautiful maiden like you~", i could only let out a sigh as i spotted another man who was outside the hut, he had a warm shade fair skin and gentle blue eyes with blond hair that was really long in length, same for the boy- Sinbad with you here
"Oh, he's Yunan, I met him a while ago, he's a wandering guy, he's gonna be staying here for a while", Yunan gave you a shy wave as a hi before I returned it while smiling a bit, noticed a little blush though- must be the sun
Suddenly i heard a lethal series of coughing near before i rushed to the ravenette and patted her back in attempt of trying to cease it
"mother!", Sinbad appeared a second after you as she only let out a weak chuckle
"ah...we have guests in our house, it look bad if im the one who needs to be taken care of...", There was a feeling that she had her days numbered before I turned to the cooking area,
fanning the fire before i started cutting the vegetables, giving them a 'i'll do it (◍•ᴗ•◍)♡' look, before the mother tried to stop me, Sinbad reassured her and had her rest on the bed, after a bit, he came back as he started helping me out around
"that was really kind of you, i appreciate it", i could only smile while nodding as i continued to the making of a simple soup
seemed like he couldn't ask much questions to satisfy his curiosity since i was basically mute right now..
Timeskip..(no one's pov)
"Your soup tastes really great, y/n!", Sinbad exclaimed as his mother's expression turned a bit more relaxed as she drank your soup, same thing with Yunan, it's been barely a day and it already felt like home here...

The next day, i was still stuck in a deep slumber before I was greeted with a loud noise outside as it seemed that alot of soldiers cornered around Sinbad and he looked like he already took some hits now...wasting no time, Irushed in and pushed the men away as i shielded Sinbad who was now behind me,
The guy looked a bit confused and surprised at the sudden stunt that I just pulled as he let out a sigh and walked away, going pass Sinbad
After a little while, i slowly turned to him as he looked really serious
"Why did you cover me just like that, you could've gotten hurt!"
I was surprised by his sudden change of tone as I could only tilt my head in a form of confusion as he seemed to have caught on to that now as he sighed
"promise me to never do that again, im supposed to be taking care of you after all", i filled my cheeks with air before turning to a direction where his golden eyes couldn't hold contact with my eyes,
cause it's practically the same thing going on when I see people with light blue eyes holding eye contact with me
"Promise???", he repeated, in a more impatient tone now before i let out a visible sigh and nodding my head
he returned back to his original version...though...he was pretty beat up right now...i poked his cheek where it was bruise and bleeding a bit unconsciously as he hissed a bit in pain
"ah! that hurttt", i rushed for water nearby as i turned to it quickly and brought out a piece of cloth, wetting it a bit and running back to him
He did had something to say but i cupped his cheeks from both sides before cleaning the dirt and blood off his face...
he looks so young... maybe 15?...
I snapped out of my thoughts when i saw that his face was a bit pink... he's far too young for all this thug-ery type of business...is that even a word?
I looked at him curious about what just happened and for what purpose, in which he caught onto somehow as he explained about some things about dungeons and conquering it..though it seemed be quite impossible in his view...sounds rough...
I patted his head before giving him a hug, as i gave him a thumbs up and ran back to the hut to take care of the lady, who i now knew as Esra...
Her condition, seemed to worsen even more now...but she's hiding it...i doubt that she'll be able to soon...I don't know what type of illness it is..but i make sure to provide her comfort and reassurance from now on...
Suddenly her eyes opened as they looked a bit drained out, immediately, i went to get water as i poured it into a cup and gave it to her as she muttered a thank you
