A fly come along
Thinks it found the sweetest flower
Even if it is damaged
The flytrap let's it in
The fly thinks 'how lucky'
'It let down it's walls for me,
I must be special'
But unbeknownst to the fly
The venusfly trap
Has no interest
In feeding the fly
It only has interest in
It's own benefits
So the fly gets digested
Slowly
Painfully
And the fly trap smiles
Because even though the fly
Loved the trap so-
The flytrap will move on
Without a second thought.
