"Get up."
I groaned while pulling the blankets on my shivering body, "Go away, Milo."
"Uh— who is Milo?"
My eyes shot up from the younger boy voice, I turned to look at Rafe who was staring at me weird.
"Nothing!" I jumped up off the bed
"Who is Milo?"
"I said no one, damn." I dragged him out of my room gently
"Mom is making breakfast and catering for the town festival, so we will be home alone with Dean, he said that we were going to do something fun out of the house."
I sighed in annoyance because I was planning to stay home and sleep today. I really didn't feel like going anywhere, school was stressful and tiring and today and tomorrow was my day off.

"Don't you guys love my bacon eggs!" My mom smiled at the table
"Yea do you have more?" Rafe licks his plate
"Rafe you're not a dog."
"I'm not but you are." He laughed
I averted my eyes to my mom in annoyance. "Rafe don't talk to you're sister that way please."
Dean was sipping his coffee and reading newspaper, "Dean honey, tell the kids where you'll be taking them for today." Mom exclaimed
"Oh right, the museum we will have a tour guide and he will guide us around and tell us about Greek mythology, exploring artifacts and specific time periods etc." he explain
"Don't that sounds like fun?!" My Mom smiled
Me and Rafe was disappointed, "I'm sorry but a museum?" Rafe slap his knee and laughed dramatically
No one found it funny but me, this was the only time I would laugh with my brother.
"Mom I got to study for my test this Monday with Carmen."
"Nice try."
I slouched in my seat, sighing and picking with my scrambled eggs.
"I won't be boring guys, we can get ice cream afterwards too."
"Did you say ice cream?" Rafe winks his eye.
I kicked Rafe's leg from under the table. "No." I whispered to him
"I don't care I want ice cream, whatever rafe wants he gets." He whispered back
"In the meantime you guys can get you're clothes ready before 1:00pm." She said while taking our plates in the kitchen
"Fine."
I walked up the steps to my room to see Malachi reading my diary, "What the hell are you doing?!" I rushed towards him to snatch my book out his hand
"Reading?"
"Clearly! But why my diary? Do you not know what a diary is?"
"Eh." He stood up from the bed
"Why are you even in here?, you're never in here."
"Because I miss you Rhea!" He tries to hug me but I push him away
"Ouch."
"Do you remember when you said that we could all feed on you?"
"No I don't remember."
He glance me an cold glare, "Okay? What about it." I asked
"I was just wondering if you were still up for that." He grins
I sighed before sitting on my bed, I raised my arm up for Malachi. Malachi walked towards me and sat beside me. He grasps my arm and bites his fangs into it, deep. It felt like a stabbing sensation. It felt weird as he sucked my fluids. My arm began tingling.
"Okay, that's enough."
Malachi grasps onto my arm harder, and continues to bite and suck rougher. "Malachi."
"I said that's enough."
Malachi was not listening to me, his eyes never left my arm. I tried to push him away but he pushes me onto my bed and holds my body in place.
My eyes averted to Marcus and his brothers who was pushing Malachi off of me. "Get off of me, I want more!" His bloody red eyes stared at my arm.
"Chill Malachi." Milo holds Malachi in place
I was frightened from the scene, I noticed the brothers staring at my bloody arm that was dripping down.
"Rhea go." Milo threw an rag at me
I hurry and covered my arm with the rag and went downstairs, I seen my brother, my mother and Dean at the table and they wasn't paying attention to me thankfully.
I creeped to the back door, "Rhea where you going?" My mother voice makes me jump
"Just getting some air!" I yelled down the hall

I sat on the swinging couch and stared at the sky, while holding the rag on the bite mark. I was being generous to him by letting him feed but he didn't stop. He was going to kill me and I seen it in his eyes.
I laid my head on my knee and stared at the sky, just thinking.
"He didn't mean to." Milo stated
"Shut up."
"We're Vampires what did you expect to happen? For him to take a drop?"
I rolled my eyes and turned my head. "But what you did back there— offering him your blood was nice. I mean offering it to all of us was nice."
"We usually have to kill." He laughs slightly
"To be honest I wished I've never met you guys."
"Fair enough." He sat beside me
"But you know— We can't really control our bloodthirst."
"Learn to control it."
"It's not easy." He stared at the view infront of us
"How did you die?" My question made Milo turn his eyes to me.
"How did us talking about bloodthirst goes to talking about how I died?" He laughs
"I'm sorry, I'm really curious."
"Uh— me and my brothers got shot by an Vampire hunter back in 1850."
"Vampire hunters?"
"They hated us just like you do." He laughs awkwardly
"I don't hat—
"Rhea! Come on it's time to go."
"I'm coming!."
"A museum? Hm I haven't went to one in ages."
"Museums are boring." I sighed
"But it's educational, just make sure you tell me all about it." He flashes in a blur.
"Alright."
