(Y/N) found herself next to Chopper and Usopp as a large group of new Fishman Pirates were yelling up at Wadatsumi to stop crying and beat up Surume. "What's going on?"
"Surume's about to beat up that Sea Bonze!" Chopper happily replied.
Usopp smiled up at the kraken, holding his fist in the air. "I know you can win, Surume!" Chopper added in. "Come on, kick his butt!"
(Y/N) looked back Surume holding up four of his tentacles and air boxing as if he was warming up for a fight. "This is so stupid."
"It's not stupid!" Chopper quickly yelled at (Y/N). Usopp joined in. "We need him to win so we won't have to deal with that guy! So cheer him on!"
"Yeah, no. I'll pass." (Y/N) waved off her crew mates as they quickly 'boo'ed her.
"Er, there, there. Perhaps you didn't hear correctly." The stripped Fishman from before spoke to Wadatsumi, making (Y/N) look at him. Wadatsumi 'huh'ed the Fishman as one of his large tear drops fell on him. The Fishman continued. "He didn't say 'sacrifice.' He said, uh, 'some help would be nice!'" Wadatsumi 'huh'ed his words again. (Y/N) blankly stared at Wadatsumi and the stripped Fishman. 'He definitely said 'sacrifice.' The striped Fishman continued. "You didn't really think he would destroy the island and leave you to your death, did you?"
"But... he did say I was gonna die!" Wadatsumi shouted back.
The stripped Fishman crosses his arms. "He was just saying that you should fight as though as you were prepared to die."
"Really?" Wadatsumi had desperation in his voice. (Y/N) facepalmed at the situation. 'Don't tell me he's really going to convince him.'
"Tell him." The striped Fishman commanded the men behind him. The new Fishman Pirates thought for a moment before agreeing and saying how much Decken trusts Wadatsumi.
"Ooh... Now I get it!" Wadatsumi brightly smiled with tears still him his eyes.
'I don't think you do.' (Y/N) thought as she stared up at Wadatsumi. The striped Fishman held out his hand. "Anyway, this is for you! I want you to take it so you can help us defeat those mean old Straw Hats, okay?" The Fishman threw a small red and black pill into Wadatsumi's mouth.
The new Fishman Pirates claimed the pill to be an Energy Steroid and questioned if it would work on such a large Fishman. 'Energy Steroid? Isn't that the drug they said Hordy took? Wait a sec... that's why I can see two power levels from Hordy. So it's a drug that enhanced someone's power, I wonder what the repercussions are...' (Y/N) was snapped out of her thoughts when Wadatsumi glowed red. The Fishman's eyes burned with rage as threw his arms to the sky and let out a blood curling scream. "Shit. He's hella strong now." (Y/N) grinned her teeth at the situation as Usopp and Chopper screamed in fear.
Wadatsumi charged at Surume making the kraken ready himself to fight. But Surume's power was no match for Wadatsumi, the giant Fishman easily knocked the kraken back with a clean punch to Surume's face. Usopp and Chopper ran up to Surume's side, yelling for their friend. "I'm sorry, Captain! I should've trusted you all along!" Wadatsumi yelled up at the Noah. "Time for you two!" Wadatsumi lifted his foot above Chopper and Usopp.
(Y/N) quickly ran up to her boys, grabbing the back of their collars and throwing them out of the way. Quickly, she pulled out her sickles and held them across her chest. "Secret Technique: Kamaitachi Furrow!" (Y/N) sent out an 'X' shaped thrust toward Wadatsumi's foot.
Wadatsumi screamed out in pain as the trust sliced her foot. "AHH!! Did I step on a sharp rock?!" Wadatsumi hopped back a few feet before looking down at (Y/N). "Was it you? Leave me alone, you meanie!" The giant Fishman cried and hopped away from the kraken and the three Straw Hats. 'I'm surprised that didn't cut his foot off, I guess that pill really toughened him up.'
"Thank you..." Chopper and Usopp had tears in their eyes when they looked up at (Y/N).
(Y/N) kept her gaze on the giant Fishman. "Get the hell out of here. I'll deal with him."
"You can't take that guy down by yourself! He's massive!" Usopp frantically yelled, looking at (Y/N) in shocked disbelief. Chopper had tears in his eyes as he held up his hooves to (Y/N).
"I can, and I will." (Y/N) turned to her crew mates with irritation and anger burning through her eyes. "Now stand back or I'll make you."
"Yes, ma'am." Usopp and Chopper bowed before running away.
(Y/N) huffed and glared back at Wadatsumi as he yelled. "The Captain will be so proud of me!! Who's next?!" Wadatsumi looked around the plaza.
One Fishman sat up amongst his defeated comrades. "Uh, I think he said to kill that guy!" The Fishman pointed back at Jimbei.
"The blue dude?" Wadatsumi questioned before holding up his fist. "Okay!"
Nami yelled out for Jimbei to turn around, but Jimbei already knew of the large threat behind him. "Fishman Karate!" (Y/N) stared at Jimbei in amazement as he power level increased even higher than Wadatsumi's. "Seven Thousand Brick... Round House Kick!" Jimbei stopped Wadatsumi's punch in its tracks with a clean kick.
Wadatsumi began crying and waving off his steaming hand. (Y/N) ran up to Jimbei. "Awesome work, Big Boss."
"What did you just call me?" Jimbei looked down at (Y/N) in confusion.
"Big Boss. I heard people down here call you 'Boss' and you're a big guy, so that's the nickname I'm giving you. At least for now." (Y/N) innocently shrugged making Jimbei chuckle. (Y/N) giggled back before turning to Wadatsumi. "I can take care of this guy myself, but I wouldn't mind some help. Are you up for it?"
"Of course. He's just one more pirate we need to take care of." Jimbei readied himself to fight as Wadatsumi fell on his back from Jimbei's last attack. (Y/N) changed her footing when the ground shook from the giant's fall.
(Y/N) looked over at Sanji when he stared yelling. "Nami! There's a lady here! Keep those butt-shockwaves to yourself, you creep!" Sanji rapidly spun in the air before landing a strong kick to Wadatsumi's head.
"Oh! That hurt!" Wadatsumi sat up, clutching his head in pain. "Who just hit me?"
Sanji landed in front of the Sea Bonze, pointing up at him. "Here's the deal! If you put so much as a single scratch on our beautiful map-goddess, then I'll put another gap in your teeth!"
(Y/N) slouched over a bit in defeat. "All she did was fall over. It's not that serious."
"Oh, great." Nami stood up, dusting herself off. "Now I'm all dirty."
(Y/N) stared at Nami for a few seconds. 'Damn, but she's still so attractive.' A small amount of blood leaked out of (Y/N)'s nose making her quickly cover her nose. Jimbei looked down at her in confusion. "Are you feeling okay?"
"Yep! All good!" (Y/N) nervously sweated, but gave Jimbei a thumbs up with her free hand. She quickly turned from the Fishman and wiped her nose clean with her sleeve. 'What the hell was that, (Y/N)?! Is Sanji really rubbing off on me that much?' (Y/N) shook the thoughts from her head.
"It wasn't my fault! That guy knocked me over!" Wadatsumi cried to Sanji, holding his head in pain as a big bump appeared where Sanji kicked.
(Y/N) and Jimbei walked up to the chef before Jimbei turned to Wadatsumi. "You want to fight? Then fight me."
"We'll easily take down this nobody." (Y/N) placed her hands on her hips, glaring up at Wadatsumi.
"I want a piece of you, too." Sanji grinned his teeth up at the giant Fishman. "You big dumpling!" (Y/N) giggled at her chef. 'Did he just call him a dumpling?'
"Okay, but leave us out of it!" The new Fishman Pirates yelled at the fight about to start as they quickly ran away.
Wadatsumi loomed down in front of Sanji. "Why'd you kick me? That hurt!"
"Suck it up! I'll kick you as many times as it takes!" Sanji yelled back.
"You're such a meanie!" Wadatsumi hung his head, crying a bit. "Even the captain wouldn't kick me for no reason!"
Sanji lightly grunted before closing his eyes, irritation clearly on his face. "Well, you shouldn't have hurt Nami! You big waste of space." Sanji lifted his foot and slammed the ground beneath him, sending himself soaring through the sky. "How 'bout another goose-egg to match?!"
"No, get away!" Wadatsumi sent a punch to the cook, but Sanji flipped through the air and dodged the attack. Wadatsumi punched again with his opposite fist, but Sanji easily dodged.
The chef Sky Walked as he yelled. "Next time, be careful... where you drop your fat ass!" Sanji sent a powerful kick to Wadatsumi's face making the giant Fishman fall to the ground.
(Y/N) covered her face from the powerful gust of air from the giant's fall, but ended up flying backwards. Thankfully, Jimbei caught her and held her from falling back any further. When the wind finally stopped, (Y/N) shook her head and felt her bun fall apart. "What a shame, and I tried keeping the bun in for as long as a could." (Y/N) sighed and brushed her hair with her hands.
"I wasn't expecting you to have such long hair. It's quite lovely." Jimbei smiled down at the (h/c) haired woman.
(Y/N) smiled back. "Thank you, Big Boss. I really appreciate that, but it's going to annoying to fight like this. Hopefully we can end this quic—"
(Y/N) was cut off by Sanji spinning up to her. "(Y/N)~swan! You look so lovely! Please wear your hair down more! It's beautiful! You're a real life goddess!!"
"Uh, thank you, Sanji." (Y/N) lightly blushed from his compliment before clearing her thought and looking back at the gigantic fallen Fishman before them. "Anyway, we have this guy to deal with. Hey, you big ugly crybaby, are you dead yet?"
Wadatsumi groaned and sat up, holding his face in his hand. "That hurt! Who are you calling a crybaby? You're going to be the one crying when I'm done with you!" Wadatsumi stood up and sent a punch towards (Y/N).
(Y/N) spin her sickles in her hands before catching them. "If you want a fight, I'll give you one. Just don't whine when you when I win." (Y/N) smirked and soared towards the giant fist, grinding her blades against his knuckles.
Wadatsumi shriek in pain. "Ow, ow, ow, ow! That's not fair! You have weapons!"
(Y/N) landed back on the ground, huffing a bit. Sweat rolled down the side of her face making her wipe her forehead. "What's wrong, (Y/N)?" Jimbei questioned with worry in his voice.
(Y/N) shook her head. "It's nothing, just been using my flight a lot today."
"I'll take care of this guy for you, my gorgeous princess. Just sit back and watch." Sanji glared back at the crying Wadatsumi. Before (Y/N) could respond, Wadatsumi sent another punch towards the three.
Jimbei, Sanji and (Y/N) split up in different directions as the punch landed on the ground where they stood. (Y/N) black flip away from Wadatsumi's fist, sliding a few feet when she landed back on the ground. "Damn. That was too close." (Y/N) blew her hair out of her face to see Wadatsumi sending punches to her cook in the air. Sanji easiler evaded the attacks with his Sky Walk.
While Wadatsumi was distracted, Jimbei sent a strong punch to the giant Fishman's knee. "Ow! My knee!" Wadatsumi cried out, wailing in pain as he clutched his knee. Jimbei landed back on the ground away from the Sea Bonze before Wadatsumi looked up at him. "You jerk! You've really made me mad, you know that?!" Wadatsumi yelled out as he crossed his arms over the front of his body. "This is what you get! Intimidation... Mega Monk!" The giant Fishman began sucking in air before inflating like a balloon.
(Y/N) quickly flew up next to Sanji when Wadatsumi's stomach reached her. "I didn't think he could get bigger."
Sanji took a hit from his cig before glaring down at Wadatsumi. "Am I supposed to be impressed?"
"Geez. I'm tired of flying." (Y/N) took the opportunity to land on Wadatsumi's face, followed by Sanji.
Wadatsumi laughed, holding his mouth as he looked at the two Straw Hats. "Well, you're surprised, right? I'm a tiger blowfish Fishman. Scary, huh?" Wadatsumi hiccuped as he spoke.
"Not really." Sanji calmly spoke. (Y/N) added in, waving off the giant Fishman. "You just got bigger. I've seen 'Capt do that all the time." Sanji nodded in agreement before speaking again. "Kinda curious why you're talkin' like that, though."
"'Cause I'll deflate if I keep my mouth open, you idiot!" Wadatsumi yelled back at the chef, but his speaking allowed air to poor through his mouth. Wadatsumi quickly covered his mouth to hold in the air.
"The kraken is still way bigger than you." Sanji sassed back making (Y/N) giggle.
"Oh yeah?" Wadatsumi began sucking in more air as he spoke. "Fine, then how 'bout this? Blowfish!"
(Y/N) stubbled a bit forward when Wadatsumi grew bigger. Sanji quickly caught her in his left arm making her look up at him. "Thank you..."
"I won't even let you fall when I'm around." Sanji softly smiled before placing his right hand back on cig and taking to Wadatsumi. "Still a shrimp compared to the kraken."
(Y/N) leaned her head on Sanji's chest as Wadatsumi yelled. "Impossible! Well, how's this?"
Sanji held (Y/N) closer to him as Wadatsumi grew even bigger. (Y/N) lightly blushed. 'Why can't he be like this all the time...?' (Y/N) looked up at her prince, but he was looking away from her. "Sanji?"
"Yes, Princess?" Sanji looked back down at (Y/N). The two locked eyes for a few moments before (Y/N) turned away from him. 'AHHH!! He is so hot right now, I can't!' (Y/N) broke their hug, fully turning from Sanji and burring her red hot face into her hands. "(Y/N), my love. Are you okay?" Sanji spoke with concern in his face.
"Yep, yep! All good! Just give me a minute." (Y/N) slapped her face a few times before taking a deep breath. 'Alright. We're in a middle of a battle. Pull it together, (Y/N). No romantic thoughts for the rest of the night!' (Y/N) turned back at Sanji, giving him a thumbs up. "All good!"
Sanji slightly tilted his head in confusion. Before he could question further, a siren began to wail. (Y/N) looked around in confusion until a voice spoke through the plaza's loud speakers. "This is an emergency announcement to all citizens of the Ryugu Kingdom. An evacuation has been issued. The giant ship known as the Noah is falling towards Fishman Island. Everyone must flee the area immediately. I repeat, the Noah is descending on the island! Everyone must flee immediately, or face certain destruction!"
(Y/N) looked up to the sky. "Damn it. It looks like Shirahoshi wasn't able to move it out of the way." (Y/N) placed her hand on her chin in thought. 'Either something happened to the Princess or Decken. A power like his makes objects stop once they hit their target or something intercepts it, although there's one more thing that could cancel the power. If Decken were to be knocked out or even die...' (Y/N) looked back up at the descending Noah. "Please be okay up there, Luffy."
"He'll be alright." Sanji spoke up making (Y/N) look over at him. "He may be an idiotic, childish gluten most of the time, but we know we can trust him when shit gets tough. He'll figure it out." Sanji lightly smirked, but (Y/N) could tell he was worried as well.
(Y/N) softly smiled back. "You're right. He can do this."
The plaza's speakers hummed before an unfamiliar voice spoke. "Is this Straw Hat Luffy? ..All right. It's the Air Tank. We've met once before, remember?" (Y/N) tilted her head in confusion as a moment of silence fell upon the plaza. 'What's happening? Are they speaking to Luffy? Why can't we hear him too? This is strange.' The voice continued. "We heard everything. We are prepared to take action. We can see the Noah hurtling towards the island as we speak."
Shiraoshi's voice came through. "Oh, Luffy, I don't know what to do!"
Finally, Luffy's voice. "Hey, guys. What do we need to do to get a little air from you?"
"We can shoot out all the air in the Air Tank." The person from the Air Tank replied. "If we create a big bubble and shoot it, maybe it'll surround the Noah. I'm afraid that's all we can do. After we deploy the bubble, the rest is up to you."
"Don't make it more complicated. Just go for it, okay?" Luffy quickly replied.
"They're both still okay. Thank goodness." (Y/N) smiled at the Noah, holding her hand over her heart.
Sanji chuckled. "I told you they would be."
"You don't need to tease me about it." (Y/N) giggled, lightly elbowing his arm making them both laugh.
"And, Luffy." The person from the Air Tank spoke again. "Everyone here is counting on you."
"Can.. you hear me, Straw Hat?" Another unfamiliar voice struggled to speak. 'Who is that? He sounds wounded.' (Y/N) looked up at the Noah once more as the voice continued. "He spoke earlier, and... It's clear now, Hordy is..."
"Keep taking! Just tell us what Hordy is already!" Luffy shouted back.
Defeating silence rang through the plaza and all of Fishman Island before the voice spoke again. "He's not a Fishman. He's a monster brought to life by our hatred."
"Their hatred?" Sanji questioned. (Y/N) bit the inside of her lip as she stared at the Noah. 'Hate can really create monsters, huh...'
"The New Fishman Pirates, they're nothing but remnants of a grudge from ages past." The voice spoke again. "We allowed their evil to fester in the shadows of Fishman Island. And they began to champion this meaningless grudge. Flying it's flag in some misguided sense of pride. They fear a future without it. In truth, they want humans to be evil. Otherwise, there's no reason to justify their crusade. All they desire is bloodshed. And despite what they say, they don't want peace for Fishmen either! ...I understand now. This sick and pathetic truth. All of their furry, their hatred, it doesn't come from experience or logic or fact. They have no substance. Just empty cruelty! ...We couldn't stopped all this. I see now. The royal family turned their eyes away from the Fishman District. In our negligence, we allowed it to become a breeding ground for violence and hatred. We pretended not to see the resentment that built up as the result of their isolation. Even as it descended into lawlessness, we lived in willful ignorance. I thought collecting those signatures would help, but I wasn't addressing the true issue." The voice began to shake as if who it belonged to was holding back tears. "Please forgive me, Mother. I'm so sorry. But it was too late! Despite all her pleading, the thing she feared had already been set in motion! The real enemy... was the resentment brewing inside out hearts. I felt it, too. That hatred. But refusing to admit that, I looked outward, when I should've looked inward. My mother's true killer... was the grudge that festered among our people while we turned a blind eye!" (Y/N) covered her mouth as tears whelmed in her eyes. 'A grudge of hatred... can do all this?' The voice continued. "And I believe she knew it in that very moment! I listened to my mother's words, but part of me wasn't able to let go of my anger. I couldn't help but hate humans for killing her. A person's pain does with them. A grudge is created by the living, and only the living make it grow stronger. Because of my prejudice, I overlooked what was happening in the Fishman District. And by the time I came to my senses, it was already spiraling out of control! If we don't do something soon, the people of Fishman Island will be done in by their own hatred! A foe more deadly than any human! Straw Hat! Please! ...Erase our past! Set us back to zero! Eradicate the shadows cast by our grudge so that we may see the light! All we can do is start over! We must!"
(Y/N) stared up at the Noah as tears poured down her face. "I never felt so much empathy for a country before. He's speech was beautiful, yet so heartbreaking."
"Brother-hoshi." Luffy's voice came through the speaker making (Y/N) lightly gasp. "Just let me do this my way. Trust me." (Y/N) smiled up at the Noah, wiping her tears away with her sleeve. The person from the Air Tank cheered about the Noah being in an air bubble before Luffy spoke again. "Our minds were made up as soon as we got to the plaza. With Jimbei's help, we were gonna save this island! Leave it to me and my crew! That's what friends are for, right?"
(Y/N) cracked her knuckles, smiling at her chef. "You heard, 'Capt. Shall we save this island?" She held her hand out to Sanji.
"We shall." Sanji took her hand and bowed down to kiss it.
(Y/N) giggled before glaring back down at Wadatsumi. "You're still tiny compared to Surume. Right, Sanji?"
"Absolutely right, my princess. The kraken easily beats your size, any day." Sanji glared back at Wadatsumi.
"Huh?! I'll show you tiny!" Wadatsumi began sucking even more air to make himself even larger. He laughed before speaking again. "Well, how 'bout this? Impressed yet?"
"Oh, sure, that's pretty damn big. Yeah, impressive stuff." Sanji looked over at (Y/N) with a 'I-could-careless' expression making her giggle.
Wadatsumi laughed again. "Thought so!" The giant Fishman chocked up on his words.
"Well, then." Sanji looked down towards the plaza. "Do you wanna wrap this up now, Jimbei?"
"Yeah. It's about time." Jimbei shouted back.
"Awww." (Y/N) placed her hand on her face, wearing a small pout. "But we were having so much fun with his little guy."
"Little?!" Wadatsumi yelled out, but quickly covered his mouth to not let any more air out.
The person from the Air Tank came back on the plaza's speakers with an update. "The situation with the Noah is increasingly dire. The ship continues to fall steadily toward Fishman Island. And right now on the deck, Luffy and Hordy and locked in a fight to the death!"
(Y/N) looked back at the Noah, seeing that the vessel is looming closer to the island. 'He can do it. I know he can.' (Y/N)'a attention was quickly stolen when she heard was sounded like a deep voice Chopper speaking. She looked around the Plaza until she spotted her reindeer, but now he was giant sized and looked like a straight up mythical beast. "Is that really Chopper?!" (Y/N) stares at her crew mate in shock until he started doing his Chopper dance. "Yep. Definitely Chopper. His dance is so disturbing in that form..."
"Tell me about it." Sanji stated at Chopper in disbelief. He looked back down at Wadatsumi. "We really should wrap this up."
"Wrap this up, you said?" Wadatsumi yelled back, hiccuping through his words. "Not until I'm good and ready! You think I got all puffed up just to deal with losers like you two? Quit dreaming! You know, all I gotta do is roll around this plaza a few times and all your friends'll be smooshed flat as pancakes!"
Sanji hit his cig before handing it to (Y/N). She took a long hit and handed it back, blowing smoke out behind her so it wouldn't hit Sanji directly. "Thanks, I needed that."
Sanji nodded. "No problem. Ask me, anytime."
The two stood in silence for a few seconds before Wadatsumi yelled out. "Uh, are you two even listening?"
"Sorry, I was lost in thought." Sanji calming explained. (Y/N) added in. "Something caught my eyes, my bad."
"You guys were ignoring me?" Wadatsumi yelled back.
"Uh-huh." The two Straw Hats calmly replied. Before Sanji spoke up. "Trying to think of recipes, for big, hideous blowfish."
"What'd you say?" Wadatsumi sassed back.
"Yeah, I rather not eat this thing." (Y/N) cringed down at Wadatsumi.
"I'm not a 'thing'! All right, that's it! I'm rolling!" Wadatsumi yelled out before rolling his body. "Blowfish!"
Sanji grabbed (Y/N) by her waist and began Sky Walking up in the air. (Y/N) wrapped her arms around Sanji's neck before looking down at the new Fishman Pirates running out of the way, or being crushed by Wadatsumi. She spotted Jimbei standing before the rolling blowfish Fishman, reading himself for combat. With his Fishman Karate: Vagabond Drill attack, Jimbei sent Wadatsumi flying over his head. "All the air is gonna come out!" Wadatsumi yelled before air shot out out of his mouth, sending him flying hundreds of miles high in the sky.
"Can you make it down to the plaza on your own?" Sanji questioned aloud.
"Yeah. Go take care of him. You got this, my prince." (Y/N) kissed Sanji on the cheek before letting go of him and descended back to the plaza. 'He better have liked that goodbye.' (Y/N) giggled as she landed next to Jimbei.
"What's so funny?" Jimbei questioend the (h/c) haired woman next to him.
"Nothing." (Y/N) smiled up as Sanji Sky Walked higher in the air to Wadatsumi. "Sanji just has a special place in my heart, even though he's love-sick pervert."
"You Straw Hats are something else." Jimbei laughed, also looking up at Sanji.
(Y/N) lightly punched his arm, laughing. "Hey! Watch your tongue. I bet you'll join us one day."
"You keep saying that, but I have no idea why." Jimbei looked down at (Y/N). "Even Luffy has yet to ask me."
"I just have this feeling, the same one I had before Franky joined us." (Y/N) shrugged. "It may not be today or tomorrow or the days after, but I have a hunch I'll not only call you a crew mate, but a good friend one day. Maybe even part of my family, if you're lucky." (Y/N) snickered. Jimbei just laughed in response before the two looked back up at Sanji. The cook was so high in the clouds, Sanji could no longer be seen.
"They're pretty high up there." Jimbei looked over at (Y/N).
"Eh, he'll take care of 'em." (Y/N) waved off the situation.
The voice from Air Tank was heard again. "Straw Hat beat him! Finally! Hordy is down!"
