After that he left for the meeting room.
The meeting was going on, when Raaghav's phone rang. At first, he chose to ignore. But when it rang for the second time, he looked to see who it was.
It was Shreesh.
"Hello! Shreesh? "
"Hello.. Jiju! Jiju woh? "
"Shreesh ,what is it? Calm down first.. "
Raaghav turned towards the guests in his meeting room, "Gentlemen, Just excuse me for this one. It's important! ", saying this he moved out of the room.

On getting the news that it's his father, Raaghav's heart began racing. He certainly didn't wanted anything bad to happen to him, even though he said that he hated him.
He told Bhaskar to call off the meeting and rushed out from his office.
He drove the car at a inhumane speed. All the while chanting his Mahadev's name.
On the way he called Mihir, to inform the same, and asked him to keep everything ready.
As he reached the hospital he rushed inside, only to meet the blood stained bodies of Abhishek and Shreesh.
His throat went dry.
"Woh... ", he tried speaking with difficulty.
Just then he saw Mihir walking towards him.
" Mihir! ", he called out.
He walked towards him, followed by Abhishek and Shreesh.
Mihir looked at his best friend.
" Mr. Ranawat is safe, he has suffered some minor injuries and some fractures. Our staff is looking after him. ", Mihir said looking towards Abhishek.
Then he turned towards Raaghav, " Uncle , is suspected to have suffered internal injuries, we'll have to operate him, Raaghav! ", he said placing his hand on his best friend's shoulder.
Raaghav was taken aback.
" I.. I don't want him to.. ", Raaghav said, looking at Mihir who was understanding his dilema.
" I am getting all the tests and pre operative procedures done. Till then contact the family, we'll need someone to sign the papers.Make it quick. We can't waste time. ", Mihir said turning towards Abhishek.
Then he turned towards Raaghav and gestured him to follow.
Raaghav was all numb. He didn't knew what to feel.
He followed Mihir to wherever he led.
Mihir on the way had instructed the doctors to do the needful.
On getting inside the cabin, Mihir hugged Raaghav.
"We'll do everything that it takes Ra! ", he said.
" I don't want Rutvendra to loose him Mi! I seriously don't. ", Raaghav said.
" I know! , " Mihir said understanding about his friend's dilemma.
"You need to be strong first Raaghav! ", he said as he made Raaghav settle on a chair.
" You have to get Dr. Vaidehi the strength as well! ", he further continued.
" Huh? "
"Raaghav I think Dr. Vaidehi is the only one available who'll handle the case well.In fact I think she is one among the few who can. ", Mihir said handling a glass of water to Raaghav.
" I know!. She is a very good surgeon! ", Raaghav said as he gulped down the water.
" But..
"But what Mi? "
"I fear how she'll react to it! I mean it's a family member. We doctors prefer not assigning such cases of operation,which involves family members.
But here.. It's the need and the necessity. ", Mihir confided. He himself was confused of what to do. When he had consulted his Mom, Riya, she had suggested that Vaidehi should do the surgery looking into her previous case success rate.
" I have asked maasa to return as soon as possible! But now, the surgery has to happen Ra! ", Mihir said.
" Vaidu will! I trust her. I know she can! ", Raaghav said as he looked towards his best friend.
" Instill this trust and faith in her too Raaghav! It'll be very difficult for her. Her mind will have thousands of fears clouding over. Drive them all away. ", Mihir said.
" I will! ", Raaghav said being determined.
Just then Vaidehi entered seeking Mihir's permission.
" Dr. Mihir you called for me?", she softly asked as she entered.
" Come in Dr. Vaidehi! ", Mihir said.
Just as she entered she was shocked to see Raaghav. His earlier conversation started refloating in her mind.
" Raaghav, aap yaha! Sab.. Sab thik toh hai na! What happened? ", she asked panicking. (" Raaghav, you here! Everything's alright! Right? What happened? ")
" Vaidu.. ", Raaghav called out softly as he pulled her towards him.
" I think I should leave! I'll see that everything's ready. ", Mihir said as he made his way out after giving a reassuring eye to Raaghav.
Raaghav pulled Vaidehi to sit on the chair that laid beside while he himself also got settled, and as he narrated the whole incident, he felt Vaidehi stiffen and shed tears.
" Raaghav.. Babasa.. Woh.. "
"Vaidu! ", Raaghav softly pulled her and engulfed her.
" Jaan, aab rone ka wakt nahi hai! ", Raaghav said. (" Jaan! It's not the time to cry! ")
" Par.. Babasa..
"Vaidu.Its you! Who'll have to operate him.. ", Raaghav dropped the statement.
Vaidehi looked at him with big eyes.
" I.. No no Raaghav!.. I... I won't be.. I won't be able to... What if... What if I do.. Something wrong... No... ", she said as he pulled her hands away and got up.
Raaghav walked towards her panicking self and back hugged her.
" Vaidu.. Calm down..
"I wont be able to Jaan! ", she said.
" You are one of the best here. I know you'll be able to! ", Raaghav said assuring.
" No..
"I trust you with our Babasa Vaidu! Please fight for him. ", Raaghav said with utter sincerity.
Vaidehi turned towards him. He had referred to his Babasa with that endearment for the first time ever since their marriage.
Vaidehi looked into his eyes, then getting attached to his chest said, " What if I am not able.. I am not able to save him? ", she asked hugging him tightly.
She was used to getting blamed, Always. She surely didn't wanted one more to be added on to her platter.
Raaghav stiffened a bit on her statement.
He didn't knew what to answer. He himself didn't knew of what was to be done next. The "what ifs"stirred in his mind. Troubling his sane-ness.
