The team is currently just resting , y/n , as xlr8 , came back zipping to the campsite , and helped in dealing with these new villains called the plaque rats
They were this new street gang that were terrorizing the streets , they were made and evolved genetically by none other than Dr.animo , who the trio hadn't seen since the incident at the museum like 3 weeks ago , but he's been causing all sorts of trouble , like that time he sent that giant mole-rat , or that weird elephant mixed with a ladybug and an ant , well , he's still out there , and so is that recurring pick steam smythe (who appeared way back in episode 3 , man that feels like ages ago , but I assure you that smythe isn't a one and done deal , I'll try to involve him more , along with animo)
Y/n: Man! That was easy!
G.Max: you could have taken it easy , you know , and not just rush in like that!
Y/n: (scoffs) what's the point of taking it slow when you have literal aliens by your side? I can do anything! Also , are gwen and Lucy done shopping yet? They've been gone for like three hours straight!
G.Max: let them have their fun y/n! Now , if you excuse me , I'm gonna go take a nap (yawns)
With that said , he goes into the rust bucket and closes the door
Y/n: welp , I'm bored...might as well see what I can find on the externet
He pulls out his A-Phone and looks into the alien dictionary app , he read about these giant brings called "To'kustars" , they have no home planet and are born from unpredictable cosmic storms , they range to a maximum height 200 feet tall , they have two sets of eyes (the yellow things located in the lower area of his face) and have the power to emit cosmic rays from their bodies
Y/n: seriously , these remind of those ultraman guys clyde told me about (y'know the same clyde that was mentioned in chapter 4 as aunt Vera's grandson) , well , I've seen alittle tokusatsu (notices the small picture icon) , oh wait , there's a picture
Y/n taps it and a holographic representation materializes
Y/n: now that's so cool! I want it! , maybe one day , oh well , next one!
He was about to check out another alien species , when suddenly , a purple portal appeared , and a masked man , with what looked to be a mechanical arm stepped out
His arm then shifted into what looked to be a large blaster , and then aimed it at y/n
???: stay where you are.....your coming with me.....
Y/n: (putting it back into his pocket) um , I'm not going anywhere buddy! (Lifts his wrist but then realizes he's still timed out and sighs)man....I really do have bad timing!
???: enough....look , I dont wanna fight you....please!
Y/n could the desperation and sorrow in the man's voice , he felt like he needed to help him at all costs , he just felt it
Y/n: well , okay! I'll help you sir! What do you need help with?
???: (sighs in relief)thank you! , I'll explain to you on the way
He then presses a button on his robot arm and a large figure then materialized out of it , it was the rust bucket , well , atlest a version of it
Y/n: what the!?!?!?!
???: again , I'll explain on the way , come on
He followed the man inside , it was totally teched out in the inside , the man then went to what looked to be the central console and pushed a button
???: This is Maximilian Tennyson , computer , we are ready for warp jump , initiate sequence!
The bug circle in the center then beeped green , and the rust bucket floated a little into the air , a portal opened in front of it , the man , now known as Maximilian, then slammed the button , and the floating recreational vehicle went into it , and as of currently, they were traveling through hyperspace
Y/n: wait , tennyson??!?!?
Maximilian: well (sighs) I guess it's time to explain....hey sport! How ya been?
The man removed his mask , revealing his face
Y/n: grandpa?!?!
Maximilian: not your grandpa , well , not your version of him , I come from an alternate world where things went wrong , it was right after your 11th birthday , when malware attacked and-
Y/n: wait! Malware ? , is he that same guy that I helped my future self defeat? (He's recapping episode 10)
Maximus (for Maximilian): yes , I do remember that point in your life where you told me about that , well , back to story , malware launched a full scale invasion on earth , my y/n was the last line of defense , along with my gwen , I even gave him the key , which upgraded the omnitrix , but , it was not enough, you , along with everyone perished , I am the last human of my world , malware absorbed the omnitrix , perfecting his form , but , my universe.....it was dying due to the immense pressure being put on by the enemy forces , who developed something called an annihilargh.....
(Okay , explanation time , maltruant is actually the one who gave malware the knowledge to build an annihilargh along with the resources , in exchange to continue his voyage across the multiverse by fixing his carriage , paradox tried to intervene but it was too late , and he had to make sure the events happen according to fate , thus , its an infinite time loop , where Maximilian's universe has to get destroyed in order for certain events to happen in y/n's primers universe , by that , I mean the y/n we are following here . Alright , back to story)

It was a massive explosion , every thing in the universe was being consumed , I managed to get my girl working (motioning to the rust bucket) and escaped last minute , now , I'm a nomad , traveling from world to world, dealing with interdimensional threats , but...this current one I'm dealing....it's too powerful
Y/n was just silent , this version of his grandpa had been through so much , was struck so much with grief , had lost so much , but , what did he mean by the threat being too powerful?
Y/n: and who or what is that threat?
Maximus: (pointing at y/n) you!
Y/n:ME!!?!?!?!?
Maximus: yes , you....let me pull up an image

Maximus: this alternate y/n I refer to as "DARK MATTER" (give me a break guys , I think it suits him) is really dangerous , he's been going around , killing several y/ns , then turning into a transformation called "Ragnarok" to destroy , or even worse , erase that universe , he also absorbed their dead watch wielders' omnitrixes into his own, making himself more stronger in the process with each dimension that was on his hit-list, so far , he's gotten over a total of 32 alternate y/ns absorbed and killed by his hands
Y/n: (sweating hard and scared alittle) no fricking way....but.....why me?
Maximus: because , y/n , I'm trying to put together a team of my own to defeat dark matter , so far only you are in , (looks at the computer ding) oh , and looks like we have arrived at the destination , come on!
The both of them step out , and see that they are in bellwood
Y/n: (confused) what? Why are we in our hometown? And why does it alittle modern?
Maximus then tapped are buttons and a screen appeared
Maximus: it seems that it is 2015 here , four years later your current time (sees a red explosion) and it seems that dark's here , let's go!
Y/n: right! (Slamming down)
He expected xlr8 , but got stinkfly instead went stinkfly
Y/n: oh what! , but I wanted xlr8!
Maximus: hmm , this could still work ! , let me hop on...
Maximus gets onto of y/n , like a horse , y/n surprisingly didn't find him that much
Y/n: alright! , we have a lift off!
He then took off into the air , he was looking around in the sky , until they got a good view
Maximus: land over there!
Y/n: you got it!
He then began diving towards the ground and landed just in clutch , y/n decided to good around alittle
Y/n: thanks for choosing tennyson airlines folks! Hope youre happy with the ride and we hope you choose us in your next travel! (Laughs)
Maximus: (getting off) it's not that funny....(looks at a direction) that's looks where they're fighting! Let's go
Suddenly , a figure was launched out of that zone , and onto the ground , creating a crater , y/n and maximus stepped closer to take a look at the victim
Y/n: a girly heatblast?
She then started to get up slowly
???: (groaning) who are you calling girly , huh!?!? , you don't looks so good yourself insect face!
Y/n: Hey watch it!
Maximus: enough! This is no time to argue!
???: (shocked) wah!??! Uncle max? I thought you were-
???: oh look~some new friends! (Looks at y/n)ah~, it seems you brought an omnitrix for me~your donations are much appreciated gentlemen and women , but now you die
The figure then revealed itself to the team , it looked a mechanical version of heatblast , this was none other than dark matter
Y/n: what the! What happened to you!
D.M: alot of stuff happened , you will feel it soon....now , give me your watch!
Before y/n could even blink , he foe was in front of him , dark matter then tapped the dial once , and y/n timed out , but still had power
Y/n: oh come on!
???: y/n!?!?! You too?
Dark matter then brought himself closer to y/n's wrist , which had the omnitrix
D.M: hmm~ a rather intresting version, it possesses more potency and more power than other I've absorbed so far! I'm gonna enjoy this~
Dark matter then was about to tamper with it , but was blasted by Maximilian, who cocked his robot arm
Maximus: paws of my family!
He then blasted dark matter again and he ended up in a wall
Maximus: that should buy us sometime! Y/n , you still have enough juice right ? We need to get out!
Y/n: right! (Slamming down)
Y/n: finally! (Turns to girl heatblast) hey lady! You coming with?
???: like I'm not!
She then slammed the the symbol , and changed from heatblast to xlr8
Y/n: woah! How'd you do that?
Maximus: (getting on y/n) no time , we gotta move!
The two speedster then zip off into somewhere , maximus recommended they go to mount Rushmore, which was the base of operations for the plumbers , and they agreed
With dark matter , he stirred awake
D.M: ugh! Those darn brats , well , no matter~ , ill just sniff'em out~
He then changed to his version of xlr8
(Fun fact , this evil y/n has unlocked master control by himself and every single alien in his watch , down every feature and setting , it was the only way to defeat "him")
He then zoomed off to the direction of our team
With our heroes , they just arrived inside the mount Rushmore, the both watch wielders then timed out , the girl was revealed t one none other than gwen , well,this universe's version of her , she looked much older than the gwen y/n knew
But the even the stranger thing was that her omnitrix was also a different color scheme , along with a different appearence
Y/n: what happened to you? Why do look alittle older and shocked
Gwen 10 teared up seeing y/n alive like this
(Because her y/n had been dead for over 4 years , her uncle max has gone into hiding to deal with this potential limax war that looked like it could happen at any moment . Yup , the war is drawing very near for her in this universe . Y/n's parents hated her , she had enough of her her parents and ran away from home 2 years ago , and now currently she's working with uncle max , running a makeshift plumber business since alien activity has started to spike up )
Gwen 10: me! What happened to you? I thought you died! And when did you get an omnitrix?
Y/n: well , I'm not exactly your y/n , I'm from an alternate world ! And I was recruited by mister maximus here (motioning to Maximilian) to deal with the guy that whooped your butt and take him down for good!
Maximus: (nods) he's right about that....now Gwen, will you help us?
Gwen 10: (thinks hard and nods woth a determined look) I'm in! But can you tell me more about that guy?
Both y/n and maximus sighed dramatically while looking at each other , before nodding and beginning to explain who dark matter is
(Cut to later , cause I'm feeling abit lazy and explaining this again would be a nightmare)
Gwen was taking all the information in quietly
Gwen 10: so....how're we gonna beat him if he's literally killed and absorbed 32 different y/ns and grown alot stronger?
Maximus: it's simple , the two of you have to tag team him , work together and maybe find a way to defeat him together !
Maximus said that as he readied his weaponry and walked off to prepare , leaving y/n and gwen alone , gwen was taller than y/n , who blushed
Gwen 10: so , um , how am I in your universe?
Y/n: well , your learning magic , apparently thats something you got from your grandma , so , how's your Lucy?
Gwen 10: she's studying animals , and recently just got a job at a pet store , but still as innocent as a bean?
Y/n: (laughs) I can picture seeing that! So , um , how did your y/n die?
Gwen 10: (looking down traumatised) it was at the end of summer vacation , some guy named malware attacked , I fought him to the best of my ability , but he was too much , my y/n (tearing up) he...he got in the way and took the blow that was for me! (Sniffling) I begged him over and over to not leave alone...but I lost him , I got rageful , I got bitter , I tore malware to pieces on the spot , showed no mercy , I didn't listen to anyone trying to stop me....now here I am , trying to grapple with my failure to protect my one and only friend..
At the end of it , she was full on crying , y/n then looked at her , and pulled her into a hug
Y/n: (patting her back) there there....I know it must have been hard for you , I would have done the same thing if it meant to protect my gwen from harm , but , you need to move with yourself too , your y/n would want that and not to see you greive for him still!
Gwen 10 stopped crying and returned the hug , nuzzling into his neck , he was just like her y/n , a kind and brave soul willing to sacrifice anything for the happiness of others , they then separated, gwen blushed as her long thought buried feelings for y/n were resurfacing alittle
Gwen 10: thank you....y/n...I really appreciate that , really
Y/n: (smiling) it's no problem , now let's go kick some evil y/n butt!
Gwen 10: Yeah!
The two of them were then interrupted by Maximilian through the comms
Maximus: he's here kids! Get ready!
The two of them then activated their watches and transformed
The both of them nodded respectively at each other and then rushed off to help Maximilian, they found him on the ground , tired and panting, while they saw dark matter , in another transformation , with a maniacal grin
D.M: ah~just in time for the show! Hand over your watches now and I'll make this quick and painless~
Gwen 10: not a chance ugly!
Y/n: Yeah! Your gonna have to get them from our dead bodies if you want'em so bad!
D.Mq: (sighs and smiles) well , that can be arranged~(pointing at them) attack my children!
The little white echo echos then charged at the duo , letting out their sonic screams , and crowding them , y/n launched a massive fireball , taking out majority of the pack , he then launched into the sky and came back down crashing , doing a massive fire attack that took out his share , with gwen , she did a powerful thunder clap , and then swooped to deal with the rest of them
D.Ma: it seems that I have to matters into my own hands....this has gone on long enough!
A red flash occured, which engulfed the entire facility , and as they opened their eyes , they were greeted by a destroyed front of mount Rushmore, and a towering figure , this was RAGNAROK
D.M: ROOAOAOAOAOAOAOR!!!!
He let out a distorted scream and got ready to do what seemed to be a mouth beam
(Fun fact , ragnarok is a living cosmic storm , he can generate as many as he pleases and grow or shrink in size if he wants to , he has a greater control of energy manipulation and can make constructs like shields , staffs etc)
Y/n: holy moly! That's ragnarok? A to'kustar?
Maximus: it seems so....even I am witnessing this first hand
Y/n: how're we gonna compete against that?
Gwen 10: (smirkin) easy...fight a to'kustar with a to'kustar!
She then slammed her symbol , a pink light occured , and gwen was in her female to'kustar transformation
Gwen 10: GIGANTA!!
Y/n: oh come on! Am I the only one that hasn't got a to'kustar?
Maximus: no time to sulk! Got help her! Aim for the frill on the top of his head! That's a weak point!
Y/n: right!
With that , they rushed off , gwen charged towards dark matter and delivered a left hook , but dark matter brushed it off and did a good punch to the face , with y/n , he was trying to sneak up on top of dark matter to get to the frill . Dark matter generated an energy field , gwen tried to break it , bit it was strong , she then got an idea , she crossed her arms and let out a huge cosmic ray , which broke the shield and hit dark matter , who then charged up a blast of his own , from the chest , arms and mouth , he let a giant roar as he let out the beam , gwen used up all her power to create one massive beam , which managed to overpower his , she panted in exhaustion, but them, dark matter began generating a cosmic storm to power himself up alittle , gwen then got into it herself, and absorbed the energy , recharging herself and back into the fight , but dark matter was now taller than her , she was only the half the size
Gwen 10: oh come on! This is really some ultraman shit you know?
D.M: I know , but I don't care~
Gwen then launched into the sky and delivered a powerful kick to the face , but ragnarok dealt an even more powerful punch , knocking her down
D.M: your weak , gwen~but no more~
He then went to her dial , but then , y/n broke the silence
Y/n: Hey evil me!
Gwen opened her eyes to see that y/n made it to the frill , and smirked , before slowly getting back up
Y/n: game over!
He then unleashed a massive fire blast , that broke the frill , it fell to the ground , dark matter groaned in pain as he felt immense pressure all over , gwen got up and launched another cosmic ray , ragnarok fell to the ground , defeated
Y/n: woohoo! Alright!
Gwen 10: now that's what I call teamwork!
The both of them then timed out an huddled to dark matter , hitting the badge , turning him back , the both of them good a good look
Y/n: Man! He really is me , but I'm still more handsome!
Gwen 10: well , let's take him to mister maximus for questioning!
Y/n and gwen then picked up the unconscious foe and took him back to the remains of mount Rushmore

After a while of questioning , they found out that this y/n had lost all his loved ones , his universe , his gwen , everyone , he broke his omnitrix in an effort to fix everything , but that resulted in his current appearence , he was going from universe to universe to collect the energy to restore his own timeline
D.M: I thought I was doing the right thing , that every y/n I killed was for a good cause , but (tearing up) , I really don't know where to turn now , I really don't!
He was crying while looking at the ground , but then , Maximilian put his hand on his shoulder
Maximus: well , now you know , how about we go on a road trip across the omniverse , just you and me , grandpa and grandson , what do you say?
Dark matter then hugged maximus
D.M: I'd like that
Maximus: (smiles) good , now come on y/n , I gotta get you back home!
Y/n: right!
Gwen 10: well , I guess this is goodbye , thank you again , for anything , and one more thing
She then kissed his forehead , which made him blush
Gwen 10: make sure to treat your gwen right , okay?
Y/n: (blushing) un , got it!
With that , Maximilian dropped y/n back to his own dimension , y/n looked at the rust bucket , his rust bucket , and smiled , he watched dark matter and Maximilian leave into the portal and smiled , simmer just got a whole lot crazier
