3 days later
Raven gets up in her hotel bed ignoring everybody who calls her. She just needed time to herself. Everything happing left and right. Raven goes through her phone getting a message request from a chick on Facebook.
"Hey, I'm sorry to bother you. I'm Naomi your sister. I know this may be too soon to even reach out with everything you've been through. My mother never wanted me to come out and tell you or anybody. If you don't respond I understand you need more time. I'm not here to lie to you. I have everything to prove to you my sister and my dad is your dad" she said sending photos of everything
Raven gets up looks at the picture she puts her hand over her mouth crying. Now she knows why everything happened for a reason. Her father was living a double life. She gets up throwing her phone and screaming. She was so heartbroken and confused.
At Eve, Raven and Danny's House
"She still ain't respond or even tried to call," Danny said "I'm worried about her," She said
"Ugh me too." she said getting up off the couch "Let's go to every hotel. She has to be in one of them"
They get up leaving out seeing Steven and Marco pull up.
"Still nothing? " Steven asked
"No," Danny said
"What y'all about to do?"
"She has to be at one of these hotels. So we about to go to everyone" Eve said
"Alright. We gone check out some too" Steven said pulling off.
Danny and Eve get in the car. Danny tries calling her again but this time straight to voicemail. "Oh my baby," Danny said looking at the picture together shedding a tear.
"Danny don't even start before I cry. I know she's okay"
"But with everything she went through? She's been walking around here like she's happy when I knew she wasn't. Then Marco bitch ass ain't making shit no better for her."
"She's FINE DANNY! " Eve yells.
3 hours passed and they pulled up to this hotel called "Holiday Inn" They got out and went inside.
"Damn, you think she'll pay this much for a damn room. Look? "
"Yeah she would," Eve said
"How can I help you ladies? " a receptionist asked
"We are looking for my best friend. She took off about 3 days ago. And I was wondering if she was here. Her name is Raven Smith"
The receptionist looks through her computer seeing her name. "Yes she's here"
"Can we get a room number?"
"I can't give it to you. But you may call her" She said dialing the number to her room. It rang two times before she answered. "Ms. Smith there's two ladies down here concerned about you.
"You can send them up," she said hanging up the phone fast.
"Room 456 on the 4th floor"
"Thanks," Danny said
They got off the elevator and went up to her room knocking on it. Raven comes to the door and opens it. They look at her seeing she's down. Eve shut the door behind her while they went to the living room
Raven sits down looking at this check she just got the other day that she sure didn't want to cash yet and the news she just found out about her parents. Danny sits down next to her hugging her and starting to cry and Raven does too.
"You bitches have me crying now," Eve said whipping her face
They laughed.
"Come here," Raven said coming to join the hug.
5 minutes later
"Okay okay. Now why you did you do us like that? " Eve said folding her arms
Danny picks up this check that says 1.1 million dollars on it. "BITCH" Danny said with her hand over her mouth. "this you? "
"Yeah," Raven said
"WHAT? " Eve said looking at it.
"And you sitting here all down," Danny said
"Y'all fuck this check for now. I just found out My dad has been living a double life. And I have a sister that's my age"
"WHAT? " Danny said
"Is that the reason why he? " Eve stops not wanting to finish
"Yea. I believe my mom found out and was getting a divorce" Raven said
"No. That's so fucked up. Now what? "
"I don't know. I through my phone after seeing what she sent me. I'm just stressed then Marco still doing what he wants to do but gets mad when he thinks I'm doing something" Raven said getting up and putting her hand on her head "I just don't know," she said
"Look you didn't have to be here by yourself. We could have escaped for three days too. And you know go ghost" Danny said
"Y'all been here for me enough. "
"And when we on canes I'll still be here," Eve said
They laughed
"I did miss y'all," Raven said reaching out for a hug. They come up hugging her. "What would I do without y'all? So happy I walked my black ass in the Diner" Raven said laughing
"We happy too"
Eve's phone rings seeing it Steven. "Well, your brother has been looking for you too. So you should tell him you okay" Eve said handing her the phone.
"Hello. Y'all find her? " He answered.
"They've found me," she said
"Raven man don't do that shit no more," Steven said feeling relieved.
"I figure out why dad did what he did," Raven said
"What? How? "
"Just come to my hotel. I'm at the holiday inn"
"Alright," Steven said hanging up.
"You know Marco with him right? "
"You serious? Fuck!" she said throwing her hands up "Wasnt trying to see him for a while" Raven said sitting down.
