"girls! let's go hurry up!" Abby says as we walk in
"girls you walked into this room just as sluggish and boring as you walked out on that stage zero energy." Abby says

"you have to come out there with energy you can't get halfway through the number then peter out, you're boring!" Abby says then she moves onto the pyramid
"so at the bottom of the pyramid Maddie, Maddie you had an opportunity to dance that didn't happen they announced you and you're bawling in the audience that's unacceptable behaviour you're nine years old when opportunity knocks open the door." Abby says to Maddie
"next Mackenzie, Mackenzie your routine was a winning number you were tenth i don't do tenth."
"next Paige, you went out there you looked great you forgot a step you cant forget a step."
"Brooke, Brooke you're here because you give me this much i don't see this personality you just see this fake little smile you're concentrating so much to don't screw up the dance you can't have fun out there."
"moving up we have Nia, Nia again you're here because you showed responsibility you quit fooling around and i didn't have to hear your mouth all day long yes?"
"next we have Chloe, Chloe you did your solo now listen to me i want more."
"and on top of the pyramid Evie, you were a major professional last week i asked you to go on for your sister you didn't even blink an eye you went out there with a dance you learnt in 10 minutes and received second place, some turns were shaky but at least you didn't run off the stage." everyone claps at me and i beam
"this week we are going to energy dance competition in chicago so we had a great competition last time we were in chicago but we didn't win i'd like to win." Abby says
"Nia you and Mackenzie will be doing a duet."
we clap
"Paige you have a solo it's not a reward you can screw up your own dance by missing the choreography but you can't mess up other people"
"Brooke you also have a solo, Chloe you're solo is called unchained but you know what the rule is you're not in class no solo so we need to figure out what went on last night i had faculty member coming to tell me where's Chloe why isn't Chloe in class"
"she was at the doctor" Christi says
"but you need to have some type of decency or say hey i'm taking my kid to the doctor and bring a doctors excuse." Abby says
"i have one." Christi says
"good." Abby says
"and Evie based on you're maturity and professionalism last week you'll also be getting a solo."
i smile
"okay girls i look at this pyramid and i don't even want to do a group dance cause you're lazy you're lifeless and you don't give me 150% now this routine is about zombies because that's what i think you are onstage you get out there and you're like a zombie sleeping half the time"
"Holly you're not working anymore you have all the time in the world so you are incharge of the costumes."
"for the group number?" Holly asks
"yes." Abby says
Holly looks stunned.
"alright moms your dismissed Holly don't procrastinate everybody else spread apart." Abby says

"give me a big grand pele and wiggle your head back" Abby says
we have these props like a statue stand and it's so cool
"make sure you hit that grand attitude Paige!" Abby says
"go Nia!"
"more Paige it's not little it's big Paige!"
we finish up the group and we get dismissed

|Two Days To Competition|
we enter the studio and mom stays behind to talk to Abby
we head into the dancers den and i put on my jazz shoes
my solo rehearsal is first and it's called the forest and it's contemporary and it's very nice
"and i want you to reach forward kick your back leg up and spin." Abby says
i do that and we finish up the routine
"alright we'll clean this tomorrow you're dismissed" Abby says
"thank you." i say and leave
i do some classes and now in the dancers den because we all get a break!
"chances of Abby not yelling at us for the group this week" i say tom the girls
"like zero percent" Nia says
"devastating" Chloe sighs
i start to laugh
the Paige comes in crying with her chair
"what happened" Chloe jumps up
"Abby threw the chair" Paige cries
"at you?" i gasp
Paige nods
"oh my gosh" Maddie says
me and Chloe take Paige to find her mom
we open the dancers den and Kelly is already storming into the studio and we hear screaming and we take Paige up to the moms area and Christi hugs Paige
"i wanna go home" Paige says to Kelly when she comes back to the dancers den
"i know we are" Kelly says and picks up Paige
Paige and Brooke gets their stuff and leave the studio

we are in the dancers den and the rest of the girls come including Brooke and Paige!
then Abby comes in starts the group rehearsal
the group rehearsal goes okay Abby doesn't seem completely happy with it

|Solo Rehearsals|
"there's pauses in your dance to use emotion." Abby says
we go over the dance to perfect it
"don't bobble Evie" Abby says as we finish up my dance
"this dance better be amazing, you're getting all this rehearsal time to actually learn your dance if you don't go out there and win" Abby says and makes a face.
i nod and i get dismissed

|Competition Day|
we are on the bus and Kelly and Paige and Brooke aren't there
me and Chloe are watching victorious and it's so fun!
we make it to the dressing room and the solos are up first
mom helps me with my makeup and costume and hair
Evie's solo costume and head peice:
i start going over my solo
"Paige is on in twenty minutes she is not in here she's not getting ready and i can't find her anywhere" Abby says
"maybes she's" mom starts
"she's not backstage" Abby adds
i go to add lipstick
"she should be here warming up ready to go" Abby says
mom then calls Maddie out
"Evie come here babe" Abby says
Abby helps me with final touches of my makeup
"you go out there and do what you do best win alright?" Abby says
"yes." i say then Maddie comes in
"can you please come in the hall with me." Maddie asks
"you want me to run your number?" Abby asks
"no." Maddie says
"you don't even have a number." Abby says then Abby and Maddie leave
"what's that about?" Chloe comes over and asks
"no clue" i shrug and i walk back over to the makeup table with Chloe
"i'm nervous" i say
"why you nervous?" Christi perks up and asks
"Abby wants me to be perfect and win because i won last week with a 10 minute rehearsal" i say
"you don't need to be perfect just because of last week you go out there and just dance have fun" Christi says and hugs me
i smile
"thank you" i say
Maddie mom and Kenzie comes back in the room
"Maddies gonna do her solo" mom says
all the moms looked shocked and Christi looks pissed
"hello! we are dancing!" Kelly says as she walks in and she gets Paige and Brooke ready and Abby walks in
"i've been looking for you all over the place" Abby says
"i just walked the room two minutes ago" Kelly says
"better late than ever" Abby says
Maddie and Paige are going over there solos while me and Chloe mark our dances
we start to head out to perform
"why is she dancing?" Kelly asks
"is she in our age?" she adds
"why is Maddie dancing?" Kelly asks Abby when she leaves the dressing room
and Abby walks away
"nothing against you Maddie i'm just saying they need to give my kids more time to rehearse" Kelly says
"oh i agree" mom says
"i agree" Maddie chimes in
we start to walk backstage
"i'm so nervous" i say
"don't be" Chloe says
"welcome entry 31a Tongue Twister please welcome Paige thank you." the announcer says
"where's Paige?" i ask Chloe
"i don't know" she says
"this is entry 31a Paige performing Tongue Twister" the announcer announces again
i look around Paige and Brooke aren't here
they move on and then Brookes up next
"Brooke isn't here either" Maddie says
"Welcome entry 42a Brooke performing Paint The Pictures" the announcer says
"go go" i whisper to Chloe because it means she's up next
"Please welcome entry 52a Chloe Performing Unchained" the announcer says and Chloe enters
her solo is so cool this week i really like this
Chloe exits and i hug her and hand her water
i shake it off and get ready to perform
"Please welcome entry 58a Evie performing The forest" the announcer says
i enter the stage and my music starts i try to make everything perfect and to apply all the things Abby said to me this week
i finish my dance and the crowd cheers i exit and Maddie hugs me
Maddie gets ready to perform
"This is Maddie performing In My Heart" the announcer says
"go mads!" i whisper cheer then her music starts to skip
"oh my god" Chloe whispers
"this solo is cursed" i say and she keeps dancing
"wooo!" i say
she finished the dance without missing a beat
"ahhhh!" i jump up and down
she exits the stage and i attack her with a hug
"you just did that!" i scream
"oh my god that was so scary" Maddie says
"but you did it!" i say
we head back to the dressing room beaming

"moving on to our energy junior solos" the announcer says
"third place goes to 51a Chloe from the Abby Lee Dance Company" the announcer says
Chloe goes up and gets her award
"second place goes to entry number 58a in my heart Maddie from the Abby Lee Dance Company" The announcer says
Maddie smiles and gets her award
"and in first place goes to entry 57a The forest Evie from the Abby Lee Dance Company" the announcer says
i beam and i go up and get my award Maddie hugs me
we head to the audience to watch Kenzies and Nias duet
they are so cute and they are doing so well
they finish and we cheer
we head back to the dressing room and i hug Kenzie
"you were so good!" i say then we start getting ready for the group number

Christi helps me with my makeup and
Holly adds fake blood to all of us
"listen to me when you step out there i want you to look like zombies" Abby says
we head backstage ready to perform
"please welcome to the stage 135a this is Glam" the announcer says
we enter and our music starts we all do our bits and i think we are doing pretty well
and our costumes are so cool we finish our dance with 3 final poses and we exit the stage

we head back to the dressing room and the moms cheer for us

we then leave to get our makeup off, we get our makeup wipes off and changed into sweats with our team jackets and we head back to the dressing room to get our stuff and go home
