sarah walked into my room with some stuff to cure our headaches from last night. after sitting in silence for a couple minutes she finally opened her mouth
"have you talking to rafe yet?"
"nope, not going too"
"are you mad at him?"
"it's just...he was literally so nice and charming, next thing you know he hears the name aaron and is yelling"
"yeah he's a dick, i don't know what he does but he's always out late at night with the guys"
i turned my body to face sarah, "have you heard the name sofia?" i asked her
"no, then again i haven't really been paying attention or staying there, why?"
"i don't know the other night kelce or topper mentioned to rafe that sofia was looking for him"
"did you ask him about it?"
"he brushed it off mainly"
"well i don't know any sofias around here but once i do, i will report back, now get up, we're going to the wreck"
i got out of bed and got ready to head out with the others. we love going to the wreck for the food and because kie is working about 30% of the time
a way for her to be with us is by us going to the wreck. she enjoys all of our company, i don't know about her parents and the boys but...
once everyone was ready, we all got in my jeep and i drove us. the car windows and roof was down as we blast music.
when we got there, it was crowded which is typical since it was a weekend morning. everyone, including people from the cut and figure eight goes
we all walked in and pointed to our table for kie to see that we're here. i sat down next to sarah and jj as we wait for kie to come take out orders.
then i noticed mrs carrera walking up to us. we all greeted and said hi to her, "hi everyone, y/n can you please help take orders?"
i immediately got up, "of course no problem" i responded as i walked over to get a notepad
"thank you so much, it's just so busy today for some reason"
"do you need anymore help? i can lend a hand" sarah said as the guys offered as well
mrs carrera smiled as they all volunteered but she didn't need anymore help. after going around and taking orders, i spot rafe sitting with his friends
thankfully mrs carrera already took their orders so i didn't have too. while taking orders i can feel rafe looking at me.
when i finished taking the last tables order, i headed over to the cashier when i heard rafe calling me
"y/n"
"go away"
"woah why are you mad"
i turned around at him, "because you came into my friends house yelling at me and you weren't even invited in the first place, and also you can't say that i'm 'your girl' when you haven't even asked me out or anything" i hissed realizing i'm making a scene
jj stood up since it happened right in front of our table, he placed both his hands on my shoulders, "come on cupcake, you are making a scene" he whispered
i looked over and noticed everyone staring, i turned around and headed over to the cashier with jj's hand on my shoulders
kie was right next to the register who witnessed everything, "did i miss something?" kie asked
"after the wreck y/n basically stayed at the chateau, rafe found out and wasn't a fan of it, yelled at everyone" jj summarized for her
"damn"
"he's so annoying"
"shh let's calm down, sit down and drink some mimosas that kie will bring over" jj said smiling at kie
jj placed his hands back on my shoulders and walked us over to our table right when pope just got there
"pope, my man, you missed the live scene that just happened" jj joked
"with who?"
jj had a big smile as he pointed at me who was already slurping down the mimosas. after eating and talking for hours, we had to plan our kegger
"y/n and i will invite as much people we can, i made these cool flyers earlier, we just need to print them" sarah said showing everyone her phone
"nice you two do that and we will buy supplies, later we will all meet up and set up" john b said
"alright come on y/n let's go print and pass these out" sarah said as we both got up. before we left we talked to kie to let her know our plan
i drove sarah and i to the library so we can print some copies, "ooo should we do color paper" sarah asked
"you do you sarah, i'm ready to pass these out"
after a couple copies of the flyers, it was time for us to pass it out. the first stop was the wreck obviously
"so are we inviting rafe and all of them?" sarah asked
"might as well before they get mad" sarah and i both laughed, "are things awkward between you and topper?" i asked
she shrugged, "no i don't think so" she responded
rafe, topper, kelce and some other kooks were still at the wreck. sarah marched up as i just followed her
"we are throwing a kegger tonight, you all should come if you're not doing anything" she said as she passed out a flyer to all of them
i kind of just stood there mainly looking at the floor but would glance up to look at rafe for a couple
"we will be there, i hope" kelce responded
"great, let's go" sarah grabbed my arm before we got stopped. rafe quickly got up as we heard him call my name
we both groaned, "we were so close" i whispered as we tried to make a run for it
"yeah..."
we both turned around to face him, "can we talk y/n" i looked over at sarah to make sure it was okay with her
"i'm gonna go pass out these flyers, you two have about five minutes" sarah said
rafe and i walked over to the corner to talk, "y/n i want to apologize for last night. i was just worried when i didn't know where you were and how you ended up at the chateau from 'girls day'.."
"rafe, the chateau is literally my home. i don't even go to my actual home anymore cause i'm scared, so i will end up at the chateau almost everyday"
"why don't you go home with me and stay with me if you're scared"
"because the chateau has literally been my house ever since i moved back here. staying at your place when we were dating.."
rafe started to cut me off, "woah woah woah are we not dating right now?" he asked
"well i don't know, you never asked me about it and we never talked about it. i told you have to gain my trust and loyalty back, remember"
"and have i?"
"...i'm not fully sure"
"really y/n, after everything i did to help you out. help your friends out, i am practically the reason both john b and sarah are home"
"i know that and i'm thankful you helped but it's not like i forgot all the bad memories of you, like when you betrayed me or like the time you hurt me mentally and physically"
"y/n i thought we were over all that. i thought we we're starting fresh again"
"we can't start fresh when those memories are replaying in my head whenever i overthink and i overthink a lot"
just when we thought sarah yelled my name, "y/n let's go!"
i looked over at rafe who was staring at the floor, lost in words, "i'll see you later tonight?" i asked
"yeah" he whispered under his breath enough for me to hear
it was time for sarah and i to go pass out more flyers in town, "how did it go?" sarah asked
"i don't even know"
"let's just go pass these flyers out and have a good time tonight!"
"yes, alright, to throwing a good kegger" i said
after hours of passing out flyers and a little shopping, sarah and i headed back to the chateau to meet up with everyone
the guys and kie were already there loading up twinkie with the supplies, "kie i got you a cute top for tonight, here" i said as i threw her a simple baby tee
she smiles as she puts it over her body to check, "thanks i'll change later" she replied
jj walked up to me with two blunts with a big smile which meant he was proud, "i rolled us two blunts for tonight but this is only for me and you" he whispered
i laughed at him as i was excited to smoke the blunts, "can't wait"
"yo you two let's go" john b called out from the car. jj and i walked over to the car to get in, everyone and everything was in there ready to go
when we got there we set up everything and by the time we were done, people started showing up. from pogues, kooks and tourist, everyone was here
"y/n come with me to the restroom real quick" kie asked. i nodded as i got up from the log i was sitting on with pope
as we walked to the restroom, i saw toppers car pulling in with many people in it. "looks like rafe just got here" i said slightly hinting toppers car
"so are you two dating?"
"no...no"
"would you date him again?"
"i'm not sure, i guess i want to see if he actually changed before i just start dating him and next thing you know, he's out doing something stupid"
"yeah just watch out i guess but it was nice of him to help out you know with clearing john b and sarah"
"yeah...but tonight is not about that, tonight is about sarah and john b coming back home. i don't want anything ruining my night other than alcohol"
kie and i both laugh, "who are we matching tonight?"
"each other" i responded
