Peach, Y/n and Mario walked towards huge white and gold doors as Peach pushed them open to reveal a room. The water fall in front of them parted in two like a curtain, which revealed a large open area of a big body of water with mushrooms around them.
They walked down the steps, and stepped down onto a white and gold octagon shaped platform with four pink light bulbs on the edges with a circular brick piece in the middle. Mario and Y/n looked at the beautiful open sky as Peach smiled at them before looking onward with his hands behind his back.
The balcony suddenly disconnected from the castle, Causing the siblings to jump from the sudden movement, as they stabilized themselves for a second. They walked towards the edge and looked towards the water as the platform flew forward and floated above the water as it stopped in the middle of the large area. Suddenly the water began to ripple and splash as a large box that looked like a mystery block started to rise in the air as it dripped with water droplets.
Mario couldn't help but gawk at the sight while Y/n smiled widely as Peach smirked and put his fist on his hips while he felt a nostalgic feeling as childhood memories flashed through his head.
The box began to break and separate into smaller pieces that started to form an obstacle course with yellow donut blocks, Robotic Piranha Plants that chomped their sharp metal teeth, Banzai Bills in canons and ready to fire off, Fake swinging fire bars, and lastly Yellow blocks with spikes.
After the obstacle course was finished setting, the circular brick piece was revealed to be a goal as a silver pole lifted up as a pink flag with a mushroom symbol attached to the side.
Prince Peach: "If you two can finish this, You're coming with me."
He told them with a confident smile as he turned his head towards the duo with a proud expression on his face. He then pointed to the duo.
Prince Peach: "Now watch and learn~!"
He said with a cocky smirk on his lips as he winked at them but it was mostly aimed for Y/n as she couldn't help but smile. He couldn't wait to demonstrate and show off his skills to Y/n hoping it would impress her.
He ran off the platform and onto a line of floating bricks before jumping off to avoid the spikes and landing on another set of bricks. He then did a side jump on a yellow block causing it to glow before it two more times as he got higher in the air. He did a side somersault in the air and landed on more floating bricks. He then leaped over the metal piranha plants to avoid getting bitten. While doing so, he began to smile widely as he felt the adrenaline from the action pump through his body that he hasn't felt in a while.
He landed on more floating bricks and looked back at piranha plant that almost but him with a smirk before he turned his head back and swiftly slid under the rubber fire bars before jumping over the yellow brick and avoided a piranha plant as he landed on a yellow spring. He glanced up with a determined grin before he was shot up into the air and quickly jumped from block to block with grace and fast agility. Y/n was watching with wide eyes and admiration, He was moving so fast and he made this look effortless, he was so awesome! You couldn't help but gush in your mind.
He backflips off the block and fell downwards as the wind blew on his face and through his golden hair as he landed on the bricks. He began to run faster as he leaped forward and onto a brick ramp. He jumped up and spun in the air for a second as a wooden version of Bowser appeared in front of Peach before the prince kicked with with all of his strength, causing it to break into tiny bits while sliding on the donut blocks causing them to turn red and fall down onto the water.
He was almost finished as he could see the goal and the siblings waiting for him as he raced towards them before the Bunzai Bills shot out of their canons ad were aim at Peach, but he didn't look scared in the slightest, he only ran even faster with a fearless grin. He jumped on top of the Bunzai bills as he outstretched his arms towards the pole. He grabbed it and swung around it before he wrapped his arms and legs around the pole and slid down it, and as he got to the bottom, he backflipped off the pole and landed of his feet with grace as he finally finished the course. He looked back at the siblings as he panted while dusting his hands off while Y/n gawked at him with eyed sparkling eyes.
Y/n: "That. Was. So. Amazing! You were so awesome!"
She excitedly fangirled as she ran up to him and gave him a high five and Peach happily returned the gesture with a breathless laugh.
Prince Peach: "Why, Thank you, My lady."
He playfully bowed to her while smiling at her as she grinned back at him before he fixed his shirt and sash a bit.
Mario: "W-wait, h-how are we supposed to do that?"
Mario asked nervously while looking down at himself nervously before Peach smiled and gestured to the mystery block floating above them with his hands.
Prince Peach: "With the Power-up's. They give us special abilities! Mario will go first."
Peach bended his knees and leaped into the air as he used his fist to hit the mystery block causing it to turn sparkle and brown as a power up magically flew out of the block as it fell into Mario's hand. His face way excited until it dropped when he saw the the power up was of course: A red and white mushroom.
Mario: "Ugh, Really?"
He groaned while rolled his eyes as he shook his head as a grossed out frown appeared on his lips.
Prince Peach: "Go on! Eat it."
Peach said with and encouraging but slightly impatient tone with a wave of his hand as Y/n motioned him to eat it. Mario dramatically groaned out in disgust and as he squeamishly bounced in place. He brought the mushroom to his mouth before he chickened out and looked at Peach.
Mario: "Now, does this have to be a mushroom? Cause I just HATE mushrooms and..."
Peach didn't respond. He just looked at Mario sternly with his hands on his hips and a pout on his lips while Y/n slightly rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
Y/n: "Come on bro, I know you don't like them, but you have to. Do it for Luigi's sake.
Mario: "Okay, Okay. You're right."
Mario nodded in agreement before he slowly brought the mushroom to his mouth only to once again stop and look at Peach pleadingly which was starting to annoy the prince.
Mario: "Are you sure there's not like a-?"
Prince Peach: "Down the hatch!"
The prince snatched the mushroom out of Mario's hand as Peach then began to forcibly shove the mushroom into his mouth while ignoring Mario's cries of disgust and slight pain, which Y/n to wince and slightly worry that he could accidentally choke Mario.
Prince Peach: "Yup, There it is, And all gone!"
After after the mushroom was completely inside of Mario's mouth, The prince stepped back as he crossed his arms with an innocent smile while Mario started to lightly cough and gag. Y/n lightly patted her brother's back while frowning at Peach with a scolding glare.
Y/n: "Oh jeez! That was a bit rough, don't you think, Peach?"
Peach slumped a bit before shook his head and shrugged his shoulders with some guilt in his eyes as he looked at her apologetically.
Prince Peach: "I'm sorry. I didn't want to, but he had it coming. He had to suck it up. We're wasting precious time here and you both have to ready.
Mario: "Still though, that was not cool, Man!"
He angrily called him out while wiping his mouth before he felt a strange tingling in his body. He looked down at his gloved hand as it began to glow with a shiny rainbow aura.
Mario: "Huh?"
Suddenly his fist grew large as he accidentally punched himself in the nose, causing him to groan in pain. He inspected his large hand with disbelief. Then the rest off his body began to transform and get big like his legs, and arms as he got taller than both Y/n and Peach, all the while gasping out in shock. Once his transformation was done, he and Y/n cheered before Mario punched the air with excitement.
Y/n: "Okay, Now that's pretty cool!"
Mario: "I know, right sis? Look at me, I'm tall!"
Prince Peach: "And strong."
The prince said with a smug grin grin as he gestured to the floating brick above Mario in order for him to test out his strength. He jumped up and punched the brick as it broke into tiny pieces while Mario's looked down at his fists with amazement.
Prince Peach: "And you can jump."
The prince informed him with a gentle voice. Mario said with confidence and reassurance as he fixed his cap while his sister and the prince playfully rolled their eyes with smiles.
Mario: "I've got this! Not problem!"
Mario ran across the line of flowing floating bricks as he jumped up and cheered with a large grin.
Mario: "Wa-hoo!"
He looked down and saw that he was in the air an completely missed the blocks as he suddenly began to descend towards the water as he began to scream.
Y/n: "Mario!"
While he was falling, He flailed his arms to try and grab onto something, but he only crashed and broke into more brick as she yelled out before he landed the water. The cheep cheeps in the water swam away from him as he lost his power up. Mario tried to swim up before he got sucked into a green underwater pipe.
Y/n: "Oh my god! Peach, is he going to be okay?"
She asked in panic as she looked over the edge of the platform and into the water with wide and worried eyes that her brother got hurt before Peach joined her side and gently patted her on the shoulder to try and comfort her.
Prince Peach: "Don't worry, Y/n. He'll be right back."
And just like he promised to her, Mario yelped as he dropped down next to them from the green pipe above them. he was soaking wet with water from head to toe while Peach leaned down to his level with a teasing grin.
Prince Peach: "Oh yeah! There's one thing I forgot to mention. When you get hit, You lose the power."
He reminded Mario as Peach hit the mystery block again, and another mushroom fell into Mario's hands as he looked down at as the power-up in distance as he sighed.
Mario: "Great..."
He grumbled with tired eyes before he shoved the mushroom in his mouth and ate it. It worked it's magic as he grew big and tall again before Peach gently urged him towards the obstacle course with a small smile.
Prince Peach: "Come on, try again."
He encouraged gently as Y/n clapped for him to give him so courage.
Y/n: "You got this, Big bro!"
Mario learned from his mistake last time before he jumped and grabbed onto a brick and pulled himself up and jumped again, but this time his face collided with a floating brick while falling down towards the water as Peach and Y/n flinch and winced for from witnessing that.
And once he got past that, He tried to get past the fake fire bar. He dodged it two times, but his timing was wrong as he got whacked in the face by the rubber fire. It started to get late as the sky turned dark as the bulbs on the platform glowed pink as the yellow bricks glowed as well.
Next was the yellow moving platforms. He was late so he fell into the water. The second attempt he just slipped off the platform and hit his back against the donut blocks, and on the third try, he finally got on the platform while he stabilized himself before jumping on one of the donut blocks successfully. He raised his fist in the air as he cheered the achievement.
Mario: "Yes!"
But that quick celebration was short lived as the donut block he was standing on turned red and fell causing more to fall down as well as a screamed in shock. Peach's face dropped as he slouched and lightly slammed his head down on the edge of the platform while groaning. Y/n closed her eyes as she face palmed herself as she rubbed her forehead.
He then pelted by Banzai bill, Got chomped by Piranha Plants, Whacked again by the fire bar, hitting his head under a block, and worst part: Was that he had to eat more mushrooms every single time he failed. He had to eat four mushrooms after four more failed attempts before it finally became to much as Mario gagged and rushed over the platform edge as he threw up from eating too much mushrooms causing him to lose the power-up, and turn him back to normal.
Y/n cringed at the uncomfortable sound of her brother vomiting as she came to his side and back to gently his back while looking away as Peach looked at him worriedly.
Y/n: "Hey, Mario? How about you take a quick break? You deserve it. I'll give the obstacle course a try!"
She offered with a smile as Mario was done getting the taste of mushrooms out of his mouth as he panted slightly as his body trembled.
Prince Peach: "That sounds like a good plan, just please be careful and don't hurt yourself."
Y/n: "Trust me, I won't. Also can you hold my flower crown for me please?"
She took her flower crown off of her head and placed her F/c cap back on as she looked at Peach, who was surprised but quickly nodded his head.
Prince Peach: "Oh, Yes! Of course!"
He held his out for her to hand him the flower crown, but she did the unexpected and went over to him and delicately placed the flower crown over his crown and onto his soft hair. She took as strop back to admire him as he started to blush. He looked so cute! Especially with his big blue doe like eyes that looked reminded her of the sea.
Y/n: "Thanks, It looks so adorable on you. Now you have two crowns!"
She said with giddiness as she gave him a closed eyed smile while Peach got really flustered as he placed a gloved hand over his red cheeks with a shy grin.
Prince Peach: "Thank you, I appreciate that..."
They gazed into each other's eyes with smiles before the prince shook his head lightly before he gently ushered her to the ground obstacle course. In his head, He remembered he had a mission to do and he couldn't afford to catch feelings at this point in time.
Prince Peach: "Alright! Good luck, Y/n! Give it your all!"
Mario: "Be safe, And try not to die, Y/n!"
Mario yelled out as he gave her a shaky thumbs up , causing her to become nervous as she did not want to go through the pain Mario unfortunately had to go through. She hit the mystery block as a mushroom fell into her hands before she ate the mushroom as the magic began to make her bigger and taller. She looked down at herself with amazement before she took a deep breath and ran towards the obstacle course.
Peach and Mario watched as she ran on the floating line of bricks as she began to side jump on the glowing yellow bricks before grabbing onto the edge of the floating brick before herself up and dodged the piranha plant that was about to bite her. She learned from her brother's mistakes and tried to figure out how to outwit the obstacle course.
She hid on the side of the pipe as she pressed her body close to it. Once she saw that it went back inside the pipe, she hopped over the pipe and jumped on top of the piranha plant. She landed on the floating bricks as she soon approached the fake fire bars.
When the time was right, she ran under the fire bar and slid down to avoid the second on that was about to hit her. She jumped on the yellow spring that Peach got on last time and wall jumped on the yellow blocks before falling and landed on the brick ramp. She ran up and jumped towards the wooden Bowser cutout as she raised her leg and kicked it, causing it to break into pieces, which made Peach gawk at her with admiration and with a sense of proudness.
She ran across the yellow donut blocks as they turned red and stated to fall from her footsteps. Then it was the last part, The Banzai bills. She avoided them as she jumped and hopped on top of them as she reached out for the goal pole. She finally finished the course as she grabbed the pole and swung around it before she wrapped her arms and legs on the pole and slid down it.
Once she got to the bottom of the pole, She lightly squealed in surprise as Peach ran towards her and gently lifted her up in the air by her waist before he happily spun her around causing the two to laugh.
Prince Peach: "Oh my gosh! Y/n, You did it! You did so well, I knew you could do it!"
The prince beamed at her with joy as he looked up at her with gentle caring eyes as he slowly brought her down while keeping his hands on her waist before he gently brought her to his chest in a form of a hug. Y/n slightly flinched with wide eyes but she smiled and hugged him back.
Prince Peach: "That was absolutely incredible..."
He softly whispered in her ear as he placed his chin on her shoulder while rubbing her back softly. They broke away from the hug as Mario came up to them with a smile.
Mario: "Yeah, I'm very proud of you, little sis. You both made it look so easy."
Mario said with a frown before he gave her a side hug as Y/n returned it before she rubbed his shoulder for comfort.
Y/n: "It's really tricky at first, But trust me, you'll get the hang of it. You can do it, Mario!"
Prince Peach: "She's right Mario. Just try your best and believe in your self because I believe in you too."
The prince said with a calm voice as Peach's gave him an encouraging nod to Mario as he smiled at him. Peach and Y/n's wise and uplifting words sparked some confidence in Mario as he nodded in agreement.
The sun was beginning to rise in the sky creating a soft pastel blue to shine down on them. Prince Peach began to doze off as he leaned against the balcony. Y/n stood by his side before she also began to get sleepy as she leaned her head on Peach's shoulder for support and used it as a pillow, causing the prince to look down at her with a gentle expression and he smiled at her dreamily before he placed his chin on top of her head as they both started to fall asleep.
Mario looked back at them with a tiny grin before he looked back at the obstacle course with a mushroom in his hand before he ate it. His body became bigger from the power up as he closed his eyes and took a deep breath before he positioned himself as he glared at the obstacle course with determination coursing through his body.
He ran on the floating bricks as he jumped on the yellow blocks and backflips onto more floating bricks before he avoided the piranha plant as he learned from Y/n as he hid on the side of the green pipe and waited for the robotic piranha plant to go back inside before jumping over them. He then approached the fire bars before he then ground pounded the bricks below him causing them to break as he fell through another set of floating bricks. He punched through the towers of bricks, causing his sister and the prince to jolt awake from the sound as they groggily woke up. They looked at Mario with shock as he was halfway done with the obstacle.
Mario ran on the ramp of floating bricks as he jumps towards the wooden cut out of Bowser as he pulled his fist back and punched it causing it to break into pieces. He ran on the donut bricks before he raced towards the Banzai bills as he jumped on top of them. He flipped and twirled in the air before he leaped towards the goal pole.
Peach and Y/n glanced up at Mario with anticipation and excitement as they smiled widely while Mario looked down at the pair with a wide smirk. He was finally going to complete the course!
Until out of literally nowhere, A robotic piranha plant came down and chomped down on Mario causing him to scream in frustration while Peach and Y/n winced and shook their heads.
The prince decided that Mario has had enough for today and he saw that the siblings were indeed worth to go with him. They all sat down on a pair of floating bricks with Y/n in the middle and Mario and Peach on both sides of her.
Prince Peach: "Well, We have a long journey ahead of us, Mustache."
Peach reach over Y/n to nudge Mario on the shoulder gently as he swung his legs while looking at the sunrise as Mario looked at with with confusion.
Mario: "But I didn't make it."
He reminded him as shrugged his shoulders and the siblings glanced over at Peach who looked at them with a kind smile.
Prince Peach: "You almost did. No one gets it right away."
Mario: "But Y/n did! She got it right away."
Mario said in frustration as he threw his arms out while he looked forward at the sunset. He knew that he couldn't stay jealous of her. He was proud of his sister, But he was just angry at himself.
Prince Peach: "Oh! Yeah, You're right. But this course is not easy. She learned from your mistakes in order to succeed."
Mario cracked a tiny smile and looked back at Peach with a raised eyebrow.
Mario: "How many tries did it take you?"
He asked him with a raised eyebrow that made the prince smile dropped before he tore his gaze away from them as he waved his hand at them dismissively.
Prince Peach: "Oh! So many! I was not good at it. Worse than you, Mario."
He sheepishly and awkwardly smiled at them as y/n gave him a deadpanned glance. She obviously caught his lie and she confronted him to not beat around the bush.
Y/n: "You got it right away, didn't you?"
She asked seriously as she looked over at the sunrise as he caved into her gaze as he immediately told her the truth.
Prince Peach: "Ok, I can't lie to you, Y/n. I got it right away, But I grew up here."
He tried to reason with them before Mario playfully rolled his eyes with a small grin.
Mario: "Okay, Now you're just trying to make me feel better."
Prince Peach: "No! No...."
He said in denial before they all gazed towards the peaceful and beautiful sky in silence for a few seconds before Peach broke the silence.
Prince Peach: "....Is it working?"
He asked with hope in his voice as he waited for Mario's response.
Mario: "A little bit, Yeah."
Mario said as he shrugged his shoulders with a tiny nod of his head as they all smiled. They say there for a few more seconds before Y/n stood up.
Y/n: "Ok fellas, I going to take a quick nap before your trip. I'll see you guys later!"
She waved at them as they smiled at her, waving back before she carefully jumped down the floating bricks and safely made it on the balcony. Mario looked away from Peach as he began to slightly rub his arm.
Mario: "Hey, we sorta got off on the wrong foot. You seem like a good guy and.... I'm sorry if I came off as rude and misunderstood you. I'm just.... Really protective of my sister. I love her so much, and I trust you to be around her."
Mario looked at Peach apologetically with a sad frown while Peach looked at him with a sympathetic smile as he took off Y/n's flower crown off his head and held it in his hands. He gently caressed the flower petals as he gazed down at the crown with loving eyes.
Prince Peach: "Oh no, you don't have to apologize! I I understand why you want to protect her.
She's.....amazing...."
He said with a dreamy and tender smile as he placed a light kiss on the flower crown while Mario nodded in agreement with a fond grin as they both looked down at Y/n sleeping peacefully on the balcony.
Mario: "Yup. She really is..."
Prince Peach: "Also, may I ask, Why are you so over-protective of her? I'm not say that you shouldn't! I'm just curious..."
He asked with curiosity before Mario looked down at his lap with a glare while clenching his gloved fists tightly.
Mario: "Well if you really want to know, I'll tell you."
Peach scooted closer to Mario as he put all of his attention to Mario as he leaned down as he got ready to listen.
Mario: "There's this guy that we used to work for who used to flirt and harass her all the time. She could never catch a break from the guy and he refused to leave her alone."
Even the description of the man and how he treated Y/n made Peach's blood boil as his body heated up with an unseen rage. He rarely got mad before, but was it a sight to behold. He glared at the sky as he frowned deeply he folded his fingers into a tight fist.
Prince Peach: "He sounds like an egotistical jerk. What a nasty brute..."
Mario: "I know right?! That's why I try to make sure she's safe and why I'm kinda selective on who gets to be around her because I don't want them to suffer like that again. Thankfully you're different from them. You respect her boundaries and you're genuine about her and I wish there were more people like you."
Mario smiled brightly as he lightly punched Peach on the arm causing the prince to lightly laugh and smile as he nodded his head.
Prince Peach: "Mario, you're too kind. But I promise you, the last thing I want to do is mistreat your sister. She has been such a gem to be around and I will guard her with my life on this journey. She'll be safe with me, I swear it."
He promised with strong, devoted and powerful voice as he patted Mario's hand softly he looked at him with determination and gentle eyes causing Mario to look at him with a confident smile as he nodded in approval.
Mario: "Alright, I'll hold you to that promise, your highness."
He grinned widely as he playfully curtsied to the prince which made the two chuckle.
Mario: "But seriously, Thank you."
Peach grinned as he placed a hand on his chest as he bowed a little to Mario with a closed eyed smile as he spoke calmly.
Prince Peach: "It's my pleasure."
Y/n: "Come on guys! Let's get some rest!"
She called out to the young men causing them to smile as they got down the floating bricks as the all walked inside the castle to get so sleep for the long trip to the jungle kingdom.

Peach asked the siblings with a smile with his hands in front of him while Mario nodded in response.
Y/n: "As ready as I'll ever be!"
It was now the afternoon noon as the afternoon they trio got some sleep, they were on their way. They made their way towards the front doors of the castle as they heard trumpets playing beautiful and triumphant music from outside. The two guards opened the giant doors for them as they walked out of the castle. Mario and Y/n's face dropped as it was revealed there was a huge crowd of cheering Toads of all colors as they completely flooded the walkway.
The prince leaned down towards the stunned siblings as he lightly whispered to them with a tranquil smile.
Prince Peach: "They're all counting on us. No pressure."
He shrugged before he and Mario walked down the steps before Peach looked over his shoulder to see that Y/n was frozen in fear as he looked at her with a worried expression as he immediately came towards her and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder.
Prince Peach: "Hey, are you alright?"
He whispered to her with a sweet smile as Y/n's body trembled from all of the eyes and unwanted attention from the Toads.
Y/n: "I'm just a little overwhelmed, there's so many of them."
Prince Peach: "It's okay. Here, please take my hand and I'll lead you. Just stay close by my side, I believe in you."
He gently offered his hand for her to take as he charmingly smiled at her with a red blush on his face causing her to blush as well. She smiled as she placed her hand in his as he lightly squeezed her hand as they intertwined his fingers with hers as he began to lead her towards the crowd as Mario was already by the green pipe.
As the two made their way towards the pipe, The toads began to move out of the way while glancing at them with admiration and awe. They walked up the steps to the green pipe as they faced towards the Toads. Peach was still holding onto Y/n's hand as he outstretched his hand towards his people.
Prince Peach: "My Toads! Our days of terror are almost over!"
He announced with powerful and fearless voice as he gazed down at the toads with a serious expression and clenched his raised fist as Y/n stared at him with respect and adoration.
Prince Peach: "With the help of the Kong army, We will stop-!"
He paused his speech as he saw a blue Toad suddenly raise his hand as the prince looked at him curiously as he waited for his question.
Blue Toad: "Uh, Who is she?"
The prince smiled as he squeezed Y/n's hand again while Y/n looked up at him with a timid grin.
Prince Peach: "She is my very good friend of mine. Her name is Y/n, And she will be assisting me on my journey to the jungle kingdom."
He said as both of their hearts broke a bit from referring each other as friends. The Toads all nodded as they whispered and murmured to each other about how beautiful she was and how good she looked with the prince.
Green Toad: "What about that guy?"
He asked while pointing towards Mario causing him to wave nervously with a shy smile. Peach looked at Mario before he raised his fist in the air.
Prince Peach: "He is not important!"
He yelled out which made the Toads cheer before the prince swiftly turned and made his way towards the green pipe with Mario and Y/n following him.
Mario: "Hey!"
Mario looked at the prince with an offended glare before Peach chuckled as he winked at him playfully as he whispered to him with a coy smile.
Prince Peach: "I'm just joking Mario, You are important. Now let's get moving!"
Peach softly nudged his shoulder before he outstretched his arm for Y/n to enter the pipe first.
Prince Peach: "After you, My lady~."
She giggled as she jumped into the pipe before Peach hopped inside after her and Mario got on top of the pipe and waved at the cheering Toads nervously before he got sucked into the pipe as well.
They were strolling through the mushroom forest in silence as the sunlight peeked through the mushrooms and onto their faces, But the siblings couldn't help but feel tense as they began to worry about their brother again which didn't go unnoticed by Peach.
Prince Peach: "Nervous?"
He asked with a gentle tone of voice. Mario looked him with raised eyebrows as he playfully scoffed.
Mario: "Who? Me? Yes."
Y/n: "Same here, I'm a little bit scared."
Y/n jumped in with a wobbly smile before Mario grabbed her hand as a source of comfort while Peach smiled at their sibling bond.
Prince Peach: "You guys have nothing to worry about, I know we can do this."
He said causing the two to smile as they started to chuckle before the trio heard a loud and familiar voice.
Toad: 🎵"WE'RE GOING ON AN ADVENTURE!"🎵
They all flinched before they looked behind them as Toad jumped in between them causing them to back up a bit as he danced and excitedly sang out.
Toad: "Come on, guys!"
He was ahead of them as he pumped his fists in the air with enthusiasm before he stopped and looked back at the trio while Peach and Mario looked at Toad quizzically while Y/n smiled widely.
Toad: "Oh, Hey Y/n! Hey Mario!"
Y/n rushed towards Toad as he picked him up and hugged him tightly which made Toad laugh as he hugged her back and rubbed his cheek with hers softly.
Y/n: "Toad! You're safe! Thank goodness!"
Prince Peach: "You two know this guy?"
Peach asked Mario with a raised eyebrows as he looked down with a bit of jealousy as he held onto his arm. He wished she could hug him like that.
Mario: "Um..."
Y/n: "Yeah! We know him! He's my best friend!"
She answered for her brother as she placed Toad back down as she lightly patted his mushroom head ad Toad held her hand softly.
Toad: "Exactly!"
Mario: "But are we?"
Mario asked him with confusion as he shrugged his shoulders before Toad held his finger up causing Mario to pause and look at him with wide eyes.
Toad: "Don't worry, Y/n! I. Will. Protect you and the prince."
He gazed into Y/n's eyes as he held both of her hands while he spoke in a fake deep voice which made Y/n lightly chuckle. The prince crouched down to Toad's height as he smiled at him with amusement.
Prince Peach: "A Toad brave enough to join us..."
Toad: "I fear nothing!"
He growled in a low tone of voice as he glared into the void. Peach slowly began to smile as he nodded his hand in approval.
Prince Peach: "Well, that settles it! You're coming with us!"
He waved his arm for Toad to follow them as Peach grabbed Y/n's hand as the two ran forward. Mario looked at the prince with a bizarre expression while Toad began to cheer and celebrate.
Prince Peach: "Let's move!"
Mario rolled his eyes with slight annoyance as he followed after Peach and Y/n as Toad picked up a buddybid and spun in around in excitement.
Toad: 🎵"I SAID WE ARE GOING ON AN ADVENTURE! WOOO!"🎵
The group walked through multiple different worlds and islands. They walked though a wooden bridge as cheep cheeps occasionally jumped in and out of the water.
One unfortunately stuck onto Mario's face as he staggered back while struggling to get it off his face. After that issue was taken care of, They walked through a desert with cactuses, buried temples, palm trees and floating upside down pyramids. They then traveled through a lush green Island with beautiful flowers and adorable Yoshis as Mario took a bite out of an apple before sharing the fruit with Y/n while a cute pink Yoshi watched them in curiosity.
They were soon climbing tall pillar like mountains with abnormal shapes. They jumped across them as Peach made sure they they all were safe, especially Y/n. The prince pulled himself up on a rocky edge as Toad raised his pickaxe and held onto Y/n's hand as Peach grabbed the tool and lifted them up and over the edge making Mario's face drop.
Mario climbed his way to the top as the stopped to admire the gorgeous view. They were above the clouds as the sun was starting to set as it created a beautiful pink and purple .
Prince Peach: "Pretty incredible, huh?"
Peach asked with a soft voice as he looked down a them with a proud smile. They couldn't help but smile as they watched the sun set as they looked around the environment in awe.
Mario and Y/n: "Mamma Mia..."
Peach lightly chuckled as he glanced back at the magical sunset with his fists on his hips.
Prince Peach: "I'll never let anyone ruin this."
🌸💗Time Skip💗🌸
They climbed down the mountains as they decided that since it was getting late, they needed to find a place to rest for the night. They managed to find a beautiful Fire Flower Field with a large trees that they could sleep under. There were hundreds upon thousands of fire flowers as they glowed a comforting orange light as it contrasted with the stunning blue and purple sky as the night sky shimmered with tiny stars making the scene look so marvelous.
Y/n was helping Peach collect fire wood while Toad was looking in his backpack while Mario was starting to relax from all of the walking and climbing they did. She placed some wood down on some rocks before she sat down and sighed for carrying the heavy wood. She started to frown as she got concerned over Luigi and began to think of the worst case scenario.
Peach was carrying some more wood for a fire as he walked up to her and saw that her face began to drop. He frowned in concern before he dropped them down as he dusted his hands off.
Prince Peach: "You're still thinking about your brother?"
He asked her with a warm and empathetic smile causing Y/n to look up at him with sad eyes as she allowed herself to be vulnerable to the prince.
Y/n: "Yes. But I can't help it. I'm worried about him. He's in danger, And we've never been apart from Luigi this long before."
He looked down at her as he felt sadness for her. He really didn't like seeing her like this. Her hardships just broke his heart as he gazed at her with longing in his eye. He wanted to make her feel better before he gently grabbed her by the hand help slowly helped her stand up with him. Peach sweetly smiled at Y/n.
Prince Peach: "Y/n, Don't you worry your pretty little head. I swear to you that we're going to save him."
His reassurance and skillfully wise words brought a large and hopeful smile on her face. Peach was so kind and his heart was so big, it's no wonder why he's a prince. Peach's face got excited before he got in front of Y/n and held onto both of her hands gently.
Prince Peach: "Hey, Y/n? Would you like to see something cool?
He asked her with a small smirk that made Y/n smile even more as she hummed and giddily nodded her head. Peach's face brighten up even more.
Prince Peach: "Come here, I want to show you something awesome. Do you trust me?"
Y/n: "Yes. Of course I do."
She nodded at him which made his heart face a little before he began to lead her towards a fire flower. He got behind her and intertwined his fingers with hers causing Y/n to blush as the both touched the fire flower at the same time. Bright fire started to crawl up their arm causing to yelp in fear before Peach shook his head to comfort her as he smiled at her affectionately.
Prince Peach: "It's okay, Y/n! Don't be scared, Watch!"
He said with a kind and hushed voice which made Y/n relax before they both felt power surge through them as the flames spreaded all over their bodies.
The two were consumed in light before it dissipated revealing that Y/n and Peach's clothes were now in shades of white and red as Y/n now had bright red streaks in her hair as it was let out of the ponytail causing it to be loose and hanging down.
Y/n: "Wow! This is incredible!"
She exclaimed happily before looked down at herself as she admired how her hair and clothes changed.
Prince Peach: "I know right?"
He smirked as he summoned a fire ball in his hand before playing with a little as he looked back towards with a small loving expression.
Prince Peach: "You look really good in red and white by the way."
She blushed a little as she looked down at the flowers timidly before she walked up to him.
Y/n: "Aw, stop trying to flatter me. You look so handsome in those colors."
He lightly chuckled as he looked down at her with a kind smile.
Prince Peach: "Thank you, my darling~💕"
Y/n face grew hot as she then summoned a fire ball from her hand as she gasped in awe as her eyes widened. She looked towards the wood as the threw the fireball towards the wood and sticks causing them to catch on fire so now they had fire to keep them warm.
Peach blew on his hand lightly from the fire before Y/n looked towards him with her eyebrows raised.
Y/n: "Hmm. You know what, you don't seem like you're from here, Peach."
He turned around to face her as he crossed his arms while looking down in slight sorrow.
Prince Peach: "Well, Now that you mention it Y/n, I don't know where I'm from."
Her body perked up in shock as her eyes widened from this sudden revelation.
Y/n: "Really?"
Prince Peach: "Yup! My earliest memory is arriving..."
He shrugged his shoulders while smiling lightly as he gazed at the flower field with fondness as memories began to flood through his head.
{🌷~Flashback~🌷}
Peach was only a toddler when he first arrived at the mushroom kingdom. He came through a green pipe with a pink pacifier and a pink blanket around his neck like a cape. He looked around with slight fear and curiosity at this new environment before his eyes fell on three Toads with lanterns as they approached the baby.
Prince Peach: "I was so lucky they found me."
A green Toad kneeled down to the baby's height as he looked at Peach in concern. The baby took the pacifier out of his mouth and put In inside of the Toads mouth causing Peach to laugh as he jumped into his arms in a hug.
Prince Peach: "They took me in."
It then showed Peach fishing as he caught a huge cheep cheep as the Toads helped him as they looked at the fish with wide eyes.
Prince Peach: "And raised me like one of their own."
Then it showed him much older now as he was doing an obstacle course as he reached the goal pole with the Toads around him cheering.
Prince Peach: "And when I was ready..."
They were holding a coronation for Peach becoming prince as he kneeled down as Toad general gently placed a gold and detailed crown with red and blue gem stones on top of his head before Peach stood up and looked down at the Toads with a grateful smile.
Prince Peach: "They made me their prince."

He finished their story as he looked towards Y/n as she smiled, her heart melting at the sad but sweet backstory of how he became a prince. Mario walked up to them with a shrug and a smile.
Mario: "Hey, maybe you're from our world!"
He offered with a kind and welcoming voice as Y/n got excited from that possibility.
Y/n: "Yeah, who's knows? He has a point."
She nodded her head in agreement which made Peach look down at them with a small grin, considering that idea before he turned and looked towards the stars.
Prince Peach: "There's a huge universe out there..."
The siblings glanced up at the stars with him and it was a sight to behold. Their mouths dropped from its beauty. Y/n could see the stars more clearly in this world. They watched in serenity as the celestial bodies were glimmering the beautiful dark blue and purple night.
Prince Peach: "With a lot of galaxies..."
He said with a gentleness in his voice before he gazed back at Y/n with a soft and shy smile. They looked at each other with longing before they stood shoulder to shoulder as they gazed up at the stars again while Toad started to play the flute from his backpack while Mario looked at the two with approval as he walked back towards the fire to get some sleep.
Peach looked back at Y/n as he couldn't keep his eyes off of her. The stars reflected in her eyes making them look even more beautiful. Y/n caught him staring at her as she got nervous again.
Y/n: "What? What's wrong? Do I have something on my face?"
She asked in a panicked voice. The prince blushed as he shook his head as he waved his hands to hide his flustered face.
Prince Peach: "Oh no, Y/n! You're fine! I'm sorry for staring, but I can't help it."
He got in front of Y/n as he gently held her hand in both of his as he gazed down at her with admiration before he began to talk to her with kindness.
Prince Peach: "You're eyes just shine and sparkle so bright and beautifully against the stars, They look like glimmering diamonds, I could honestly stare at them for hours."
Y/n froze in place as her eyes widened. Her face got warm as she lightly blushed as her mouth was slightly agaped as she lightly gasped from his beautiful and poetic words. Peach chuckled in embarrassment as he cheeks grew red.
Prince Peach: "I'm really sorry if that sounded cheesy."
He apologized before Y/n placed a hand on his shoulder as she immediately reassured him.
Y/n: "I don't mind, you're very sweet, Peach. You're a very good and strong leader and I see you as a beacon of hope. You're also incredibly charming and handsome..."
His blush got worse and there was no hiding it now. His face beamed with joy as his and Y/n's hearts was racing in their chests.
Prince Peach: "Aww, thank you so much, Y/n. You're such a Peach, aren't you, Love?"
He joked with a wink at his little pun which made her smiled even more as she glanced down at the flowers before Peach gently touched her cheek and lifted her face back to look into his gorgeous eyes.
Prince Peach: "No, Please don't hide your lovely face from me, Sweetheart. I love your smile~.💓"
Peach then got a bright idea to make this night better for Y/n when he noticed that Toad was still playing music on his flute. He suddenly wrapped his arm around her waist and brought her close to him, causing her to inhale sharply in surprise. He started to dance with her before she pulled away from him causing him frown a bit before Y/n looked back at him sadly.
Y/n: "But Peach, You don't understand. I don't know how to waltz. I've never done this before."
He smiled at her before he brought her into his embrace again causing Y/n to blush as their faces were close as their noses lightly touched.
Prince Peach: "You have nothing to fear, Y/n. Keep your beautiful eyes on me, and only on me. I'll lead you~"
He then lead them in a slow waltz in the fire flower fields under the starry night sky. The orange light hitting her face made her look like a goddess from a renaissance painting, he didn't know that someone this beautiful as he admired her as they danced in the music while Y/n looked up at him as she slowly started to smile causing Peach to beam down at her with half lidded eyes. Peach twirled her under his arm causing her to gasp and laugh lightly. The spun in a circle before they started to dance faster.
Peach kissed Y/n's hand as he pulled her even closer to him where there was no space between them. Peach then hugged her tightly as he lifted her up in the air and spun her around causing them to erupt in laughter. They were having so much fun, and Peach hasn't remembered the last time he had a good time like this. They spun around in a circle before he dipped her down with a hand on her back to support her as he intertwined their fingers together. They never took their eyes off each other as they smiled at each other lovingly. He slowly brought her back up from the dip as he stroked her cheek gently as he occasionally looked at her soft lips. Y/n's heart was about to burst out of her chest as their lips slightly got closer.
But she stopped herself as she slowly and hesitantly pulled back from him causing him to pause as they caught themselves almost kissing while chuckling awkwardly. They both remembered that they had a mission to do, and they don't have time for their feelings right now.
Y/n: "Well, that was fun for my first time dancing with a prince. Thanks. I had a lot of fun, but it's getting late...And we have a long day ahead of us."
He nodded in agreement while his heart broke at their moment having to end but he hid his true emotions with a small and understanding smile.
Prince Peach: "You're absolutely right. We should get some sleep, but I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, Y/n."
He linked arms with her as they walked back towards the group as Mario was already asleep as Toad smirked at the two while putting his flute away in his backpack. Y/n got comfortable as she laid down next to her brother before Peach kneeled down beside her was he gently ruffled her hair with a small smile and loving eyes.
Prince Peach: "Good night and sweet dreams, My lady~💗"
She couldn't help but smile at him as her eyes got droopy as she laid her head down on her arms before she started to doze off but not without saying.....
Y/n: "Good night, Peach..."💕
